This is actually a really awesome Starbucks! Near my doctor's office, I always pop in for a tea and a goodie when I'm in this area. Yes, its a Starbucks but it has great staff and tons of parking and is never overcrowded with pretentious people taking up all the space with their coats, bags and attitudes!

I was here yesterday (Saturday) just before noon. I was a little put off by the cashier's attitude being as they were not very busy. However, the barista made up for that. She was extremely friendly, efficient, abd made my overall experience worth posting this rating. I wish I could remember her name, but regardless, you are awesome and my drink was amazing. Thank you :)

I went to this location on Sat. June 13, 2015. This particular store was poorly managed in that the tables were dirty, (and no one ever came to wipe them off), the bathrooms were filthy, and there were no napkins until we found someone to put some out in the dispensers. It had rained during the night, and it was left to the customers to wipe off tables and chairs so they could sit outside. We're never going back - who can enjoy their food and drink in such filth? I should have read the Yelp reviews first!

good coffee. terrible service. the baristas are great, but the girl working the register on the weekends is incredibly rude. I don't know what her problem is but she is the worst. it's like you're inconveniencing her by getting a coffee. I will no longer be going to this Starbucks. it's worth the drive to get better service at the Starbucks down the road.

With a love for coffee and experience working at Caribou Coffee for a little I started out 2014 with the mission to visit all of the coffee shops in my area. After visiting a few, I thought why not write reviews and share my thoughts on each of them. So here we are... with out any further ado let's dive right in to my unbiased review of Starbucks Coffee in Deerfield. (I typically don't review corporate chains, but this one was a little different than most Starbucks I have gone to) Location & Ambiance: The location is actually awesome, its one of the biggest Starbucks I have seen which has its pros and cons. As you can imagine the large location is bad for individuals doing homework, but great for those who are looking to meet in bigger groups. Coffee: Same as literally every Starbucks... ever. Exactly what you would expect. Food: Same deal as the coffee. Staff: Same old corporate feel, but with a bigger location. Overall, its the same old Starbucks. Not great, but is good when in a pinch. There are some positive things to this Starbucks mainly because of the larger location.

One of the nicer Starbucks in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, no drive through. Very nice outdoor seating, almost parkish like. Great fast service.

This busy Starbucks is often filled in the morning with local business people waiting in line and taking up most of the seats. I never hang out here. The reason to go is the Clover brewing system which allows customers to enjoy any of the coffees made to order on the best brewing machine available in the area. Few Starbucks in the country offer this amazing coffee. In addition to the specialty Reserve coffees, you can even get a Pike's place or Blonde Roast coffee from the machine. For many years I only drank espresso, but the superior flavor of a Clover brewed coffee has won me over. It is a little more expensive than the standard drip brewed coffees on tap at Starbucks, but it's totally worth it. If you're feeling flush, try some of the exotic Reserve coffees. Nothing compares, but you may have to wait.

I can't believe this store has not changed or proved its management. Perhaps its a test location for horrible service? Or perhaps the location is so good, it is successful despite itself. The real mystery is why a competitor hasnt opened a store next door and simply stole the customers with marginal service. I was behind a woman who had to be 80 that ordered a decaf and she actually left and said she didn't have time to in her life wait for the 20 minutes and simply walked out. Hilarious! Bottom line, coffee is great as I spend 200+ at Starbucks and this place is the worst retail facility of any category in terms of customer service I have ever been in consistently in my life. Here is a Starbucks corporate management tip- hire a manager and a few extra staff members at this location or a Caribou or Seattles Best is going to pop and steal your business. I will NEVER go back to this location!

One of your ordinary Starbucks. The coffee is good, and the service is fast. The particular thing I enjoy about this one is the outdoor patio. Beautiful in the summer and very kid friendly.

I wanted to try a different location on my way to work this morning (I drive by four Starbucks) and stopped at this one. I was really impressed with the size of the place and how much seating was available, including two couches and many tables! That's the only thing that impressed me. The line was short, but the wait was long. The cashier didn't even ask if I wanted a receipt and I stood there awkwardly while she grumpily gave it to me. I don't know about you, but don't most places at least ask if you want it? (I don't usually want it, but today I did.) To top it all off, my drink (chai tea latte with soy milk) was the worst I've had from a Starbucks location. It tasted bland with only a hint of flavor in the aftertaste. Blah. I really wanted to turn around and ask for another but I didn't want to be late to work. Sorry, 'bucks. I'm sticking with my usual spot.

Pros: large location with ample seating for relaxing, a good conversation or studying. Also, I really liked the decor of this location. It definitely seemed more modern and classy than other locations I have been to. Also, they have a Clover brewing system, which allows customers to sample their "Reserve" coffees, which are from all over the world. I'm still not too sure if you can request to have this type brewed for you as opposed to getting whatever they have brewing (such as their Pike Place roast). Cons: Nothing really - I didn't experience the horrible service that Brian S. mentioned in his review. However, I think the barista making my drink put whip cream into my Pumpkin Spice Latte which I didn't want. She seemed busy talking to another customer about the Hawkeyes. I didn't care enough to complain.

This location constantly burning my coffee. I usually stop by this location every Sunday on my way to my daughter's swim class because they offer Clover brew. The Clover coffee machine makes amazing coffee if the baristas know what they are doing! I tried Blue Mountain before and Columbia El Penol today at this location and coffee was super hot. In fact, it was so hot that I can hardly hold the cup even with a sleeve on the cup. I have to wait 5 mins before I can take my first sip and the coffee tasted sour. I had the exact same El Penol coffee yesterday at Streets of Woodfield location and coffee was perfect temperature, didn't have to wait 5 mins to drink, it wasn't burn so there was no sour taste. The same thing with Blue Mountain, no where elsw can brew a cup of sour Blue Mountain coffee except this Clover location on Deerfield Rd. I think I need to express my concern to Starbucks. I seriously don't want to pay for another cup of burn coffee!

I had a great experience at this location this morning. It was about 8:20am, and I felt as though I was out of there by 8:23! Granted, I have a simple order, so maybe that helped my case. I wasn't there to hang out, but it did look welcoming, clean and fresh. There were many people in the location, so that may have been a challenge if I were to try and do so. Ample outdoor seating as well! Can't wait to get back and try the Clover Brewing System.

Fast, efficient and accurate beverages. Nice space with ample seating and some quieter areas. Parking is a challenge- but that's not exactly under Starbucks control.

This is one of the busiest fucking Sbux on the planet. My advice is to avoid it if it's before 10am on a weekday or before 1pm on a weekend. The quality of the drinks improves a lot after those times.

If you want a vibrant, active, Starbucks, with people who work there who care about the product they serve, then I highly recommend this Starbucks.

This is a nice Starbucks! They have a pretty large seating and table area outside and a few stuffy chairs inside. If they could turn the music down a tad, I would have had an excellent business meeting there. Good friendly folks working there.
