Totally disappointed, service was exceptionally poor and just average food doesn't inspire me to go back. Additionally, my card was overcharged and when I called the number on their website 864-2220, not accepting calls. Evidently I will have to visit the place one more time to correct the overfilling. There really should be a zero star rating

So far this is the best Mexican food in the area. However I come from the Southwest where we have fantastic Mexican restaurants. It is hard to beat them, so I have to keep that in mind. I had to ask several times to get some hot sauce, but then I realized that most people in this area do not eat their food with hot sauce. I had a enchilada and a tamale and enjoyed them both. The enchilada sauce is sweeter then I normally have had it, but was very tasty, and of course they had the nice hot chips!

Pretty normal Mexican place for the area. They are not as pressuring as the other places around which is nice. However everything else is just like any other Mexican restaurant. Good salsa.

3 Stars... Maybe. The positives. The restaurant was very clean which is really important to me. The wait staff were clean and fairly well trained. I was here for a weekend lunch so it wasn't crowded but the service was very good. Our glasses were never empty. The atmosphere was nice. That's the only reason they got 3 stars. The negatives. The manager and hostess spoke to each other in Spanish in deciding where to seat a party of 2. RUDE! When they finished speaking in Spanish, they both addressed us in English. The food was barely adequate. We had fajita's and the Burrito Loco. The burrito was a tortilla with meat and nothing else inside. It was served at room temperature. The Fajita's were hot but not sizzling. I will say that the chips were warm and fresh. The salsa was sweet. Nice restaurant. Food was ok but nothing to make me want to return.

Worst service ever. Food was absolutely terrible too. We went to eat here tonight & were so disappointed. I ate here with my husband, who is a manager at a restaurant, and everyone else at the table was at one time a server. First off the food took 30 minutes to get out, our server took 10 minutes after requested to actually bring the refills, and the food was so cold one of the items was sent back. I found a tiny twig in my taco. My husband asked for an item a la carte & they brought him a whole meal. We sent back the meal & kept the chimichanga a la carte. When the bill came it still listed the whole meal. We reiterated the mistake, the server walked off without responding to my husband & ignored us for 10 minutes without returning the corrected check. We placed the money for the bill in the checkbook because we were ready to go & were tired of being ignored. On the way out the manager yelled at my husband, "Pay your bill!" Even though you pay it your table & it WAS played. So incredibly rude. We will never be back.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I judge initially on the frozen lime margaritas then the chips and salsa. Those are perfect here. In addition, every main dish I have tried had been excellent, from tacos, to enchiladas Verdes to chilaquiles, nothing has disappointed. Our service has also been fast and with a smile with very few exceptions and since we visit so often those few times can be overlooked. Will definitely continue to visit monthly or more often as in the past.

We really enjoyed dinner with friends at Coronas. Margaritas and chips/salsa kept us happy while we decided what to order. I'm a southwestern girl at heart so I went for a classic: Chile Colorado. So good! The sauce was rich and flavorful and the tortillas and sides were great. Everyone else seemed as happy with their food as I was. Dory is the best server :) very friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

Excellent food. I had enchiladas verses that were great. Margarita wasn't overly sweet as is the case all too often. Wait staff was professional and very friendly. We will come back next time in town.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
