How can all you yelpers be SO wrong... Average, at best. I judge a place by the spicy tuna and this was tasteless paste. Yuck! No taste, waste of time and money.
The space is a little small so don't plan on taking a large crowd. However, their menus have a fascinating design, and their host is more than willing to elaborate on any of the descriptions. When my fiance and I saw the chef cooking a tuna dish that we had discussed trying, they brought over little pieces for us to try. Everything we order was delicious! Look at my pictures to witness colorful array, the texture, and the flavors of their plates. I would recommend eating in, and asking lots of questions.
I routinely order their party trays when last minute guests show up - and they deliver! Sushi and rolls are top notch. Owner and staff are super friendly. Highly recommend.

Great food always simple and done well. Nice owner. Good service! Best soups ever
Lovely breakfast/brunch spot! It's so hard to find a good non-chain restaurant in the suburbs. I had the Blue Plate Special (create your own) with scrambled eggs, ham off the bone and banana nut French toast. It's excellent value for the quality (and quantity)! Eggs were moist (I asked for them slightly runny) and the ham was really juicy (a little on the salty side but I didn't mind). My French toast was slightly on the bland side but syrup solved he problem. My company had the stuffed Apple French toast which extremely rich due to the generous cream cheese styffing I was amazed that he could finish the whole thing so he clearly liked it a lot. Will be back! Since they're a pancake place I have to try something pancake related next time.
Get the Eggs Benedict it's exactly what you can expect of normal great tasting Eggs Benedict My office, has ordered from Blueberry Hill twice in the past 2 weeks. We are satisfied with their food and will be ordering again and again

Great brunchy brekkie spot. Tastey coffee, good service, delish stuff on the large menu. I ordered the spinach eggs benedict, and it was served perfectly. Fresh sauteed spinach, properly poached eggs, on a toasted english muffin. Hash browns on the side which I requested crispy, and they were crispy! Added a side of sausage patties, and I left wanting NOTHING! They even obliged my request for a to-go cup of coffee at no charge. Alittle on the pricey side, but very good!
"Does she work here?" "I don't know; she's petting that kid." We were already planning to be nearby, so we decided to have brunch at Jam N Jelly. It was a beautiful day, so we requested to sit on the patio. We placed that request after a few bumbling moments of confusion trying to figure out if the girl at the front desk even worked there since she clung to her cell phone, wandered back and forth between the hostess stand and a group of little kids, and then started to pet one on the head. We only waited a few minutes before we were seated. I ordered the Spring Omelet with brie, tomatoes, and asparagus. I subbed the onions for mushrooms. This was a generous sized omelet, served with a side of hash browns and toast of pancakes (I had the Greek toast). I spread the raspberry jam on my toast, which was delicious. My omelet was good, but could have benefited from a more flavorful ingredient. I would come back here to try some of the sweet items on the menu like the Turtle Pancakes. There's also a proper full lunch menu with burgers, wraps, and sandwiches.
Hmm did I somehow go to the wrong restaurant? The reviews were glowing; the place was packed! We left disappointed, hungry, and confused. The service was lacking, she forgot multiple things and kept disappearing. My strawberry crepe had brown strawberries, yuck. I'd have sent it back if I could have found our waitress. My little one even left his Mickey pancake nearly untouched. No coffee refills were offered, darn. Perhaps the amazing jellies and jam would have saved the day but we didn't receive any with our toast. We aren't bad patrons I promise! Tempted to visit again only to see if we just visited on a really off day.

The fries and cheese are amazing. The beef and hot dogs are also really good and this place is very cheap with generous portions. Enjoy it!
Very good beef sandwiches, Burgers and the It. Ice was amazing.. It was pricey... But you get what you pay for..
Teddy's Red Hots is a brightly lit hot dog joint located off of Plainfield Road in Darien. The parking lot was busy and the inside is fairly clean with a decent sized menu of items to order. I'm unsure if this place is related to the Teddy's Red Hots in Downers Grove but I decided to stop in and try out their food. I went for the hot dog. The hot dog I received came on a regular non-poppy seed bun. The bun had hard edges and showed signs of dryness. The hot dog itself was longer than the bun which is kind of unusual. The pickle included was a bit on the sour side and a tad too thick. The tomato slices were also a bit on the thick side and I had to reassemble my dog to get all of the components to stay on. The application of the mustard, relish and onions were fine. This hot dog while tasting alright combined two of my biggest pet peeves with Chicago Style Hot Dogs. This hot dog was guilty of having a hard and dry hot dog bun being the first sin, and a pickle slice that was too thick. The fact that this came from a place that specializes in hot dogs, it's surprising for them to be serving a bun in that condition. Needless to say it really hurt the score on this hot dog. The hot dog overall didn't taste bad, it simply didn't have the right texture.

Hey, its a dunkin donuts, and if you don't know what that means, you've been living under a rock. I have observed repeatedly while in line that the staff know many of their regulars by name, which is a nice touch as I'm usually too grumpy in the early morning to want to talk to anyone...but they still make the effort.
Donuts have gotten smaller in recent time and are rarely fresh. Customer service is good though
We always come here with friends late night. One of my favorite Chicago area locations. It's open 24 hours and the food/donuts are always fresh.

Thai O’Cha

Reviews:
I ordered crab rangoon and spicy chicken pad Thai, and my food was ready when I arrived to pick it up and still hot when I got home. The service is curt, but not rude, and it does not appear that many dine-in since there was only one couple eating here when I stopped in on a Friday night. The interior is about what you would expect at a casual, mostly take-out, Thai or Chinese restaurant. It appears clean, but the inside does not offer much more than that. The food is pretty good. After reading several reviews regarding the food being too sweet, I made sure to order my pad thai "spicy," which was a success. It was spicy and not at all sweet. The sauce was flavorful, and the noodles were topped with freshly chopped cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts. The only thing missing were the peanuts. The noodles were good, but the chicken was too dry. I would order the pad thai again, but maybe with shrimp next time. The crab rangoon was OK, not a "must have." They were under-stuffed and the accompanying sauce was too thin and watery for my liking. Right now I live less than 2 miles from here, so I definitely plan to try Thai O'Cha again when the Thai craving kicks in. I plan to try out some other Thai restaurants nearby first.
Fresh food, nice staff, food quantity was more than enough, i went there with a friend and we ordered salmon. Salmon fillet was bigger than normal serving (which i liked most) and food was so fresh and delicious Server was very nice and the head cook who was with us to ask about food quality Great experience Must try
This is our second trip here & I'm sad to say we won't be back. We ordered the appetizer sampler which consisted of 3 pot stickers, 3 crab rangoons, shrimp rolls and 6 baby chicken egg rolls. All of the elements we over fried, chewy, and very tough to eat. For the entree, I ordered the mixed seafood Tom Kha. The actual flavor was delicious, don't get me wrong but when I asked the server what type of seafood was in the soup, she tells me shrimp, crab, scallop and squid, I expected fresh & I definitely did not get fresh. The crab was imitation & all of the seafood (which was very minimal) was very tough. Thai O'Cha needs a food facelift before we will go back again.

I've been several times now for hibachi with coworkers, and generallt, it is a good time. The lunch chicken hibachi special is 9 dollars and comes w soup, fried rice, and veggies, and is plenty of food, especially for 9 dollars. Gotta say though, the flavor of the hibachi food, while OK, definitely isn't as good as the expensive hibachi joints in the city. Not that it's bland, it's just...ok. The steak and shrimp hibachi lunch specials are all several bucks more for the same amount of food, and while they are decent they're (to me) not worth increasing cost by 60%. I have had their sushi several times and enjoy it. I'm no sushi pro so I stick to the conventional rolls, but hey, I know what I like and I like those. Beer and sake available, they have cocktails hut I've never tried them. Hibachi show is quite animated, WAY better than the hibachi place I used to go to. The show is definitely fun and the chefs are good at it. No hibachi Mon and Tue though! Food is 3/5, bonus 0.5 for low price, bonus 0.5 for liking the hibachi performance. Plus I like the sushi. Will continue to eat here for sure.
We order from this place about once or twice a month. The food is decent. I always order the filet mignon and shrimp hibachi and my husband the steak and lobster hibachi. The portions are good. one of my complaints would be that, I don't think they actually give me filet mignon and the shrimp seem steamed instead of grilled. Sometimes the food is amazing, other times not so much. On a good day the lobster tail and shrimp is tender, juicy and delicious. On a bad day its like rubber. Maybe because we always order for delivery. They do deliver really fast and that's a plus. We usually spend about $80 per order for 2 hibachi dinners, crab Rangoon and sometimes pot stickers. I also love the smoothies, but don't order the pineapple because it doesn't taste like pineapple. I would also recommend you didn't order the sushi, the 3 times I ordered it was like grocery store quality.
I've tried a handful of dishes from their Thai and Chinese menus. The Thai menu should just be entirely eliminated, it just isn't good. Their Chinese dishes are better, but nothing I'd write home about.

Not true chi town pie but decent. No more no less. Nifty crust
We went there a few hours ago and everything was great, as usual. We were there with a large family group and every person felt like they received individual attention from the wait staff. If every restaurant was run as well as HRI, there would be no reason for Yelp. Highly recommended.
I'm a pizza snob. It is quite a difficult task to impress me with a new kind of pizza, but I've wanted to try Home Run Inn. See, I remember when they first started selling them at the grocery store (because I worked there when I was 17 years old). I loved the frozen Home Run Inn pizzas more than any frozen pizza I've ever tried. So when the restaurant starting popping up, I wanted to try them. I have heard from others that the pizza wasn't good or that they didn't like it. I was told not to waste my time. But I'm happy that I finally tried it for myself. We were in the west suburbs shopping at IKEA when hunger strikes us both. I remember the Home Run Inn at this location and made up my mind. The service was okay, but not over-the-top friendly. It was a Friday and a late afternoon, so the place was very empty. We decided to order a personal pizza each so we could pick all the toppings we really wanted. Our bill was just about $30 with an appetizer and one pop. We got the garlic bread appetizer and it was huge! Two people could not finish it alone! The pizza was similar to the frozen kind you get at the store, except it was on crack! The personal pizzas allow you to pick 4 toppings and I chose pepperoni, mushroom, garlic, and extra cheese (I forgot to ask for the butter crust). I was blown away by the flavor. It was the frozen home run inn on crack or steroids or something else. I probably wouldn't get the garlic again because there was just too much of it. Overall, I would come back here again and again! There's another location closer to where I live, and I'll be ordering from there in the near future. From one pizza snob, this place makes it to my top 10 pizza places!
