i bought a groupon to this place as it was close by and i wanted to check it out. my husband was surprised as he said the place was a bar that he'd been to and was definitely not something worth going out of your way for. oh well, too late. bought the groupon. i think i was lulled by the words "kobe beef burger" on the groupon. oddly enough, when you go there, "kobe" does not show up anywhere on the menu. the waitress/bartender assured us they were kobe burgers. nonetheless, this place is just a bar with bar food. we went for lunch on a holiday afternoon and it was dark. the tables were not really set up for dining patrons. but we were there and we had a groupon. the service was friendly enough. but, it's definitely not a place you go out of your way for. they had an interesting drink machine at the bar that i'm sure makes something fun to drink.

I ordered a burger med-well to go with several other orders, the burger was WELL, very WELL and dry. Overcooked! The fries were not good, tasted like they had freezer burn. They used to have a burger business inside their location which were pretty good but pricy. I've ordered from here twice, giving them a second chance... not again.

I went for Burger Antics which is a business run inside Marks. The service was great. The beer has really good prices. $4 for a craft beer. 2.50 for a copes on tap. $8 for a pitcher. Can't go wrong. The food was awsome!!! It really was a word of mouth type place and well deserved.

It's a Great Dive Bar!! Staff is great and friendly. Toni gets the job done! Burgers are the way to go!

At best, Mark's is a strip mall dive with moderately priced drinks. At its worst it's a place with deranged clientele (which I have no problem with), servers that are either inattentive or don't care (I do have a problem with) and from what I have usually seen, an owner that likes to get drunk in front of the customers. I'll be honest, when Burger Antics occupied the same space, there was an incentive to come here. The food was phenomenal - the service not so much but I felt like they were doing their best to keep up. These days, I find the person behind the bar would rather stare into space then hand you a drink in exchange for money. Surely you can find better locations for food, drink, company, and service within the area. If you can't then you either have no desire to do so or you have some incredible draw to this place, which for that, I feel sorry for you.

Bleh. Stopped by when traveling through the area. Was full of smoke so we sat outside at one of the two tables on the sidewalk. Everyone walking in or standing around outside was smoking. Throwing cigarette butts on the sidewalk. A smoker's paradise I guess but I couldn't escape fast enough. Even sitting outside for a few minutes and I reek of smoke. Would give negative stars if I could.
