Great place to have breakfast with the family. The food is great and the service can be slow at times when it gets busy. Overall I really enjoy having breakfast here and would recommend it to anyone.
Had THE WORST grouper ever! I normally would not order fish in a restaurant like this but having had many great meals over the years, I wasn't scared. The grouper ($12.99) looked more like Tilapia and was a translucent color and rubbery texture, the rice pilaf was a mix of overcooked rice and semi cooked rice and overcooked tasteless carrots.. I sent the fish back to be cooked longer. My bf finished his entire meal by the time my fish was refired. It was no better than the initial presentation. I would not eat it and nicely told the waitress (who was great btw) why. I saw & heard her tell the owner that I didn't like my meal and why. When I went up to the register to pay, the owner asked how everything was and I nicely told him. He knocked $5 off the $35.00 bill for the meal I couldn't eat. This is the last time I will ever go to this place. I later found out that the original owner had sold the business so that would explain the crappy quality and the crappier attitude.
I've driven by this place for years and finally got around to having breakfast here Sunday morning. It was packed when we walked in, yet we were seated within 5 minutes. Our server came over to us within 2 minutes to get our beverage order. This is a nice place, kinda kitchy. Totally casual. Our server came back with our coffee, took our order, and was off yet again. This was one busy woman, and I wish I knew her name because she was so, so wonderful. I ordered the banana crepes, my husband ordered eggs benedict and a side of potato pancakes. I loved my crepes, they were just like they should be. Hub liked the eggs benny, but the potato pancakes.....eeek. Shiver. Ooooh. Weidness here. We're not Potato Pancake Sommeliers by any means, but whoa. I think a 5 year old would bite into those and proclaim them totally not kosher. They were like....like.....patties of mashed (mashed!) potatoes coated in Shake-n-Bake with a dash of Emeril Essence, and deep fried for a few minutes. We each took a small bite, and left the other 3 3/4 pancakes on the plate. Our server came back to check on us after a few minutes and we said nothing because... I don't know. She was so nice and it was so crazy in there and we just thought, "Well....whatever." Now here's the kicker...when she came to clear our plates she asked right away if we hadn't liked the p.pancakes. We admitted to her that they were just different than what we were used to and she apologized sincerely. At least she acknowledged it. The issue was over in our minds. But then she came back with our check and had had the p.pancakes taken off the bill. She said to mu husband, "You didn't enjoy them - you shouldn't be charged." SO. WONDERFUL. This woman whose name I can not remember. We left her a nice tip in gratitude. She is the reason we would go back there. But for now I'm going with 3 stars until we can get back there and try some other items on the menu.

My girlfriends and I were looking for a place to go have breakfast, and since I'm new to Countryside, I had to rely on Yelp reviews to find a breakfast spot. Let me just say that the food at the Country Cup is absolutely disgusting. My friend ordered the egg sandwich, which was literally a fried egg, cooked so long the yolk was dry as a bone, between two pieces of what looked to be Wonder Bread. My other friend had a skillet which came with 2 pieces of Kraft cheese on top, which she said tasted weird. I went with the spinch pie because I thought it might be a safe bet at a Greek diner. What I got was the greasiest spinach pie of all time. Finally, my other friend had a french dip that looked down right pathetic. While we were sitting there with our disgusting meals, we marveled at how many people were in the restaurant. People were actually waiting in line for this place.........I don't get it. This place needs a visit from Restaurant Impossible. One more thing, our waitress was a rude beast.
Went there over the weekend for Breakfast. Steak and eggs best value in town !!!!!. Louie is teh best !
I love the prices of there food, and its good taste for the price! The staff is nice. however as a previous post said it is small. But open 24 hours

Good Mexican,-American food. Large portions. I ordered some Mexican fare here for carry out.. Since I didn't do the actual pickup, I can't speak about anything but the food. My order consisted of 3 items. * Steak taco. When there is not a cilantro and onion option for steak tacos (carne asada), you know the place has been tailored to the American appetite. I will say that it was stuffed full with a base of refried beans, then cheese, then a lot of steak bits and more cheese on the top. * Tostada with all pastor pork. I probably enjoyed this the most out of my order. Lots of tasty pork with nice accompanying ingredients, including a nice layer of refried beans. I recommend the tostadas without reservations. *Nachos with cheese. Here was another clue that there is a strong American influence. The chips were good, but the cheese is definitely food service (like gehls). This is the stuff they put in the heated pump st the ball park. Don't get me wrong--i like them for what they are. Taco Taco is a good choice so long as you know what to expect. My inclination would be 3.5, but the tostada was pretty great, so I rounded up.
Grrrrreatt Tacos. The host was really nice and quick to respond. We took take outs from here and our order came in pretty fast. The wait time was extremely low. I can certainly visit this place again.
As stated on prior reviews there are no fills @ Taco Taco. Im not looking for frills,im looking for a great steak burrito. This is what Taco Taco does have ! The steak has a great taste and seasoning to it. The portions are large as well. The staff is very friendly and the food is prepared quickly. If your looking for take out mexican, look no further!

Reviews:
I'm in town on business and this place is right down the street. Couldn't be any more convenient. Small little cafe style authentic Thai restaurant with Asians cooking your food. That is what I love about this place. I have eaten here 4 times in the past week and don't have anything to complain about. Their prices are hard to beat as well.
This is a tough one, as I spent many a happy lunch hour with a simpatico (yes, it can be an adjective) colleague. And at times the food was great. I remember a large bowl of Tom Yum that was so good I wanted to swim in it. Also, the employees are always friendly, the décor is warm and cute, and the place is as neat as the proverbial button. I would give everything but the food a 5, and the food (recently) a 2.5, if Yelp would let me. So I'll go with 3. So you're waiting for the "but"...here it is....came here recently at lunch time. The place was busy, although there was not a line. We waited quite a while for a server (not a big deal) and she asked us if we wanted appetizers. We asked for spring rolls. She said, "Are you in a hurry?" We were not sure how to respond to that. They're spring rolls, which, according to me, don't take that long, and according to vegetarian.about.com/od/… are "a quick, no cook meal." We say...."Um, how long?" She shakes her head; the "please don't order these" shake of the head. We acquiesce, ordering the fish cakes instead. Upon a few bites, my friend says...."What do you think of these?" (He's so kind.) I said..."Um. Spongy?" He agreed. They were tasty, yet quite spongy. I could have cleaned my sink with one of them. Meanwhile, we both ordered the lunch specials. Specials come with egg roll and soup. The egg roll had nothing but cabbage in it and the soup was an amazing array of water and starch. In addition, the main course was tiny and lackluster. My stir fried basil/ground chicken was not particularly tasty, and the chicken had a toughness to it that suggested some sort of fry/boil. My friend's pad kee mao seemed similarly blah. He's too polite to say so, however. The whole thing seemed rushed and not prepared with much care. Would I go back? Yes. I've had good food here, so there's always hope. But like many Thai restaurants, the food really varies. One day is perfection; the next 2.5 stars on Yelp. I'll try again, and perhaps go with tried and true Pad Thai. We'll see.
A small BYOB establishment with great food. Must try their crab rangoon, by far the I've ever had. Lard Nar, Pad-Woonsen, Cida Chicken Curry and Massaman Curry just some of my favorites. Service is great even when the place is crowded.

Fun atmosphere. Took too long to serve food when they were not crowded. Our waitress was not very friendly.
Had a good time at theTexas roadhouse great dinner rolls good steaks, it's a good old boy country and western theme is a nice charm to it Big parking lot The staff is very friendly and a tentative this place is set up for For eating not hanging around with friends and have a long conversation it seems like they get You in and get you out which is okay. Because they don't push you out the door. I liked it and will be back again.
My rating is based on my expectation for this type of place. The steaks are no Ditkas or Wildfire, but my Dallas fillet was fine. The rolls are great. I felt the "loaded" option for my potatoes was a little cheap. The bacon bits seemed like Bacos. I was expecting a little more. Staff was friendly. Our waitress tried to up sell quite a bit, but didn't cross the line of being pushy.

This place is awesome! I really like the food (even though its bar food), friendly environment and Helen is the nicest, most attentive bartender in the greater Chicago area! She is the main reason I come back and continue to introduce people to this place. I will definitely be back very soon.
Stopped in the other night to check the joint out, try my hand at the slots. Quickly realized the place was kind of a townie, dive sports bar. The place seemed fairly equipped, providing multiple pool tables, jukebox, bar video games, TV's, and the aforementioned slots, but a grimey, watch your back feel didn't sit right with either one of us during the visit. We didn't try any food, partially because of the overall lack of cleanliness inside. It's hard enough to eat bar food, especially at a joint who can't keep the bar and surrounding tables clean. First time experience wasn't a great one, but it wasn't terrible enough to completely scratch it from my list. I'm sure we'll stop back in the future...I'd like to confirm or deny my suspicions of Time Out being a local sports dive bar.
Good food great prices and great people try the firecracker salad with heat or without heat it's the best

I'm having a hard time deciding between 2 and 3 stars, but I'm keeping it at 2. FOOD: This is the reason for the low rating. I was surprised by how cheap all the food was, but when it was brought out, I understood. I ordered a burger, and was asked how I wanted it cooked. That was a laughable request! It was clearly a patty that was previously frozen, and it tasted like a cold hockey puck. The friend that brought me said their burgers were good, but I thought it was disgusting. I'm hoping I had a bad experience but I couldn't finish more than a quarter and threw out the rest. The saving grace was the amazing Cajun fries and ranch dressing, but I was not looking for a french fry-lunch. DRINK: I had a blood mary, which was also reasonably priced. Delicious, also! SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE: We sat at the bar, and the bartender was great and very nice. The place was completely empty otherwise, but I can see how this would be a fun place. It's pretty far out of my way, but close to a good friend, so I'll be giving it another try I'm sure. Hopefully I'll have a better follow-up review, then!
It's a great spot if you're a smoker. We sat outside on their outdoor deck on a beautiful Saturday evening. I guess all the local smokers know that Rafferty's does not enforce the smoking ban, hence every table, except ours, was occupied by smokers. Atmosphere was surprisingly smoky, despite being outside. Cobb salad with salmon was not great - very salty salmon. The waitress was very polite, but too busy to serve our party promptly. Appeared they were short staffed.
Yelp, you have failed me TERRIBLY. If you are looking for a dive bar with a cheers atmosphere I imagine this is the place for you. If you are looking for a decent dinner spot to enjoy with your 6 year old... not so much. Went here on a Wednesday at 4:30 after grabbing my car from down the road. Yelp reviews seemed promising and I wanted something more than a chain restaurant. I was a bit surprised that there was a solid force of day drinkers there but to each their own so we sat down for our meal. I had the corn beef and cabbage soup. It tasted like it was previously frozen. Next tried the "button bites". These were pretty decent. How can you go wrong with breaded and fried jalapeños? It really went south with the ribs. They were disgusting. I am surprised they are advertised as their specialty and "#1 ribs in the area". They were made worse by the most terrible rendition of sir mix a lots baby got back I have ever heard BLASTING in the restaurant and copious F BOMBS being dropped by the patrons. My son had the grilled cheese and fries which he said he didn't like after he took one bite. To be fair that is kind of his m.o.
