This place was BAD news from te moment we drove up to the parking lot!!!! The parking lot was completely full (cars parked taking up 2 spots) and had to look on the street. As we walked to the mini plaza where this place is located I noticed strange activity. My friend, who invited me there, came outside to meet us. As we were chatting and waiting for her to finish her cigarette, we noticed a guy in a car calling this group of guysthat were standing at the door over to him. The guys from the car singled out this one guy and this guys walked over to dudes car only to be met with a bat....dude from the car was just talking mess and withing 3 minutes ws pulled into the car by his girlfriend. The one guy that walked over to the car was about to enter the establishment. The security guy at the door did a pat down on this one guy and when the secrity guy reached dudes ankle he oh hold on...security guy noticed an ankle monitor on him!!!! This should've been my indication to get the hell out of there but I heard how all of them joke about the with the ankle monitor. As we enter this place my husband pays $20 for us and we enter anoter set of doors whic is guarded by another "security" guy. We walked in and within 8 steps there's another "security" checkpoint witha flash light checking our hands for a stamp....What stamp??? Flashlight guy tells us to go to the door and get a stamp, after we had just left it!!! Okay so I ask the guy at the the door for the stamp and he gets an attitude like a girl!!!! Starts twisting at the neck and all and gets very loud with me...at this point I said eff this we are leaving!!!! I demanded my $$$ back and left and the rent a cop is still yelling!!! Hell this place isn't work a dime to enter. It had "banda" music playing and the 5 minuted I was in there it was SUPER GHETTO!!! A bunch of guys in either cowboy hats of tattoos across their necks...or both. I will never ever go there again in my life...it was the worst experience of my clubbing days....it wasn't even worth the lipstick I wasted on that night!!!!

This was delicious. I got a dish that had rice and shrimp. I am not sure what it is called but it is amazing. Not too spicy and the shrimp was cooked perfectly.

This is my follow up that I forgot to write. My coworkers and I did end up going back on that Friday. This place is so hard to judge. We love the micheladas (a beer meets a Mexican bloody mary) and think they are the best we've tried. We also had a blast overall, as we were pretty much the only ones there but ....that is why I'm so torn. They have good drinks and good food, but the service is still subpar. It's almost like they don't care and I just can't get over that. There were a few moments where we finished a beer or drink and wanted to order another, and our waitress couldn't be found for 10-15 minutes. It's just crazy. The staff is nice when they do help you, but it's like they go hang out in back and forget about the customer. -And keep in mind, it's not because they are busy.....WE ARE THE ONLY ONES IN THE PLACE!!! If they got their service together, this would be an outstanding spot. It's a shame. I guess the owners / staff just don't understand customer service. It's one of the nicer places near my work, so we will likely return. However, the day we find a new spot with better service, we will no longer come here.

The decor is nice, the waitress was friendly but that's where the good points end. I'm not sure how it is as a club but the food is 2nd rate at best. It took a very long time considering the cook was using the microwave for almost everything and they only had 2 tables filled. When the appetizers came the potato skins had slices of cheese melted on them and tasted of freezer burn. There is never an excuse for a professional cook to 1.) Use a microwave and 2.) Serve freezer burned food... Certainly not for the prices they were charging...if I wanted frozen food I'd save the money and warm it up at home. I mean come on potato skins are really easy to make fresh. Very disappointing.

It was ok.Didnt exactly blow my mind. This review is SOLELY on the food and not for the dancing/club part of it.Service was good. The place is actually nice.Im sure some people would like it.Just wasnt my cup of tea.Pretty basic menu.Nothing that really stood out.Tortillas were store bought and not hechas a mano. Was brought ONE KIND of salsa that was watery and tasted like tomato sauce.Food was ok.Im not going to say anything bad about them.I just wasnt really into it.I like my tortillas hechas a mano and its nice when Im brought a few salsa choices or at least a one really good one.Anyway,I probably wont return.Sorry.

Yuck! Came to have lunch and regret it so much. The good was cold, no one was in there and it took 10 minutes to get a waiter. Then I ordered oysters and they didn't have any. Never again, thank you.

I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. I really wanted to like this place. The outside looks pretty inviting and festive. We came in for an early lunch around 11 am. Crown was fairly small. I think we where the 3rd table in the whole restaurant. Everything was layback. Televisions were on sports. Music was at a minimal. We were sitting by the bar booths. We were greeted by a waitress within a standard time, who showed zero emotions. We ordered two pops and asked for a few minutes to look over appetizers. We decided on an appetizer of fried pickles and even had time to choose our meal. But our waitress was no where to be found. About 15 min in she appeared and we ordered our food. They where out of fried pickles so we just choose 2 orders of the green enchiladas... Minutes passed and still no food. No check back to make sure our drinks where re-filled. No nothing. Mind you we we're now the second table in the whole restaurant. About 40 min later our food arrived! 40 flipping minutes guys. Wow. I was stunned. The waitress never ever came over to let us know what the hold up was. She never showed her face. We were about to walk out of the restaurant when she arrived. The food was warm not as hot as id expect. But the flavor was definitely there. I was floored. This has been the worst service I have received in all my years of dining out. Mind you I have been a server for 4 years. I am currently a bartender and stride on giving the best service and making a great impression as to make our guest feel like part of a family. This was far from that... What a shame.

This is a fun place to hang out once in a while. They have live bands and plenty of room to dance. The only thing is there is limited number of tables if you dont have a reservation.

Ok, so Ive decided to give this place another shot after visiting in October and having horrible service. I must say it was really good! From the service, soup, appetizers, food and especially the drinks =) We were served quickly and everyone was polite and helpful. I will definately be coming back!

Decent place to enjoy a night of dancing. I have never eaten there, but I have had their Micheladas and they were really good. Worth a chance if you are in the area.

This place has really excellent tacos. The steak ones are my favorite. Their gorditas are also pretty good; the chicken is probably my favorite. I did make a horrible mistake once of ordering the red pork gordita, not aware that it was like a soggy pork rind gordita. That was unfortunate. The service can be a little slow, and the salsa may be strangely hot (temperature-wise), but I do enjoy meeting up with my boyfriend after work here once in awhile for a beer and dinner. It's become our go-to for post-work celebrations.

This was one of my first night life experiences, I guess I could of had better. This place has a huge dance floor, the scene is from top 40s to Latino dance rhythms but, its mostly "Mexican Regional." During the week they have drink specials such as $2 beer and $4 drinks. I have to admit the place it gets packed and the crowd is very lively (on Saturdays) especially when they have live bands playing. The drinks are reasonable, nonetheless that makes up for the $10 cover however, its a free entrance with text. In addition, next door to this place there is a liquor store therefore, you could get your "Drink On" before going in. Overall, its a great place for people who like the "Regional Mexican" scene

Food is just ok. Nothing different than any other unpopular Mexican restaurant. After hours dance is ok, nothing to really scream and get excited about. And it's very expensive, expensive price for drinks $$$ Cover Charge pricing is costly $30-45,depending on the local groups playing.

We all went here to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday with my husband's side of the family. We had a table for like 20 and were the only ones in the place, it could have been the random time, though, since we were there at 2 PM. But despite being the only table there...the service seriously SUCKED! My sister-in-law had to keep asking for things...even MENUS to be brought to the table! Really?? I mean there were like 6 servers and just US in the whole place and it still took a good 5 minutes for my FIL to even get a beer! And I had to ask for a water refill two or three times before it was actually filled! Yeah...just bad! The food that Fred and I tried was pretty good, though. We tried some nachos, calamari and he had mussels and I tried the grilled short ribs (costillas). I liked everything I tried except for the mussels...they were grilled but with nothing in the shell except the meat so they completely dried out and just tasted like rubbery salt water to me! Yuck! I can do grilled...but you have got to throw some butter, salsa...something up on there to make them retain some juice and flavor! The chips and salsa at the table was one of their redeeming qualities...homemade chips and a spicy tomatillo salsa...mmmmmm! But...I do want to go back on a Friday night and check out the nightlife here. When I went to the bano, I saw a poster advertising their drink specials and music they play on Friday nights from 9 PM to 2 AM. They have $2 Blue Moons...what?!?!?! So there! And $5 Mixed drinks...that's a steal on a Friday night, I think! And they play everything from Top 40 to Bachata and Reggaeton...so I will def be checking the place out with Osi V. to see if it can get our asses moving on the dance floor without too many humping chihuahuas on our legs! =] **And it did say no cover ever on a Friday night...just an FYI**

Clearly this place is a nightclub - with a huge stage and an impressive sound and light system. All I did was stop in for lunch, so this review is probably missing the point of this place entirely. Lunch was pretty good. I had two gorditas and two Negra Modelos and ended up paying about $20. The gorditas took what seemed to be a really long time, but they were good enough to be worth the wait. I didn't ask, but the beans seemed lard free. I got a basket of fresh chips and a decent tub of salsa right away. Both were excellent. The service was a bit distracted I guess and given that the place was pretty sparsely populated this was a bit disappointing. The place was nicely appointed with a copper front on the bar and the stage. There were unfortunately, about eleven TVs. The location is strip mall wretched.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
