I love this place so much. The Gorditas here are the bomb. Everything about it is great. My all time favorite place to eat with the family.

It should not be called Gorditas Aguascalientes. Gives actual good food from Aguascalientes, Mexico a very bad name. Well prepared gorditas should not be soaked. The meat should not be dry, nor nopales should be tasteless. Service is, well.. she must have been in a bad mood that day.

I was just there the food was ok for starters. We got there sat and we literally waited for about 25 minutes and there was no one ready to take our order until I got up and asked them to take it for us. The customer service overall is pretty bad. Not sure if I would be coming back here anytime soon.. The food is definetly not worth the wait.

I was in the neighborhood, and stopped in at a friend's recommendation. The horchata was the creamiest I have ever tasted. Luscious! The fish tostada (ceviche, not cooked) came immediately, was a mountain of teeny squares of fish perfectly marinated, topped by three slices of perfectly ripened avocado. The mini-gordita filled with rajas con queso was fabulous, when it finally arrived!!!! I had to ask for it three times.... and i was there at 2pm on a Friday when the place was empty! Serving staff was polite, but I could see that if the place was packed with families, a single person would be over-looked. Great gorditas. Good value!

Darn good Gordias, very filling so don't order too many. Service was mediocre at best but food was great.

Cheap and delicious. I am vegetarian, so I had to ask if the beans were made with lard and they are. However this did not hinder my gordita experience. I got a cheese and avocado gordita and it was amazing. They have salsa on the tables including pickled jalapenos that added to the deliciousness of the gordita. My gordita was very affordable too! I ordered one regular size and a small size and it was too much food! But I ate it anyway!!

Order a carnitas gordita..it was not what i was expecting .they shouldn't call it carnitas ..it was just pork there's a big difference between pork and Carnitas

So so so tasty! I don't know if this the best place around, but it is my favorite place around. I always order 3 steak tacos or 2 tacos and a gordita + a large horchata. Their food always fills me up just right, and freshness of the food is always guaranteed. The service is great. Fast, friendly, and easy going. You'll never be disappointed.

I love the gorditas of chicharron verde and rajas con queso! If you come here you need to eat the gorditas. The guac is also good.

Delicious! My go-to place for gorditas. Yes, I'm Mexican, but there are certain dishes I never learned to cook. One of them being gorditas. So when I get the craving for something mom used to make, I have my go-to spots that help me remember what mom's food used to taste like. Gorditas Aguscalientes does it for me with their gorditas. They stuff the dough pockets with large chunks of tender, delicious meat and the sauces the meat is stewed in are yummy. Yesterday we got the pork in green sauce, the lomo in red sauce, rajas con queso and chicken. I took one star off because the horchata was off and I don't like their carrots. They also have 99 cent banana licuados.

You know its a good Mexican restaurant when you walk in and notice if completely filled with Mexicans. I had the asada gordita and some alpastor tacos with a michelada for lunch. It was all delishous.

A dive. Quick convenient meal by the Cicero CTA Pink Line. 2 minis + 1 taco + horchata = $11. Plenty of meat inside taco and gordita. FREE SPICY PICKLED CARROTS Note: the housemade cornmeal mix used as taco and gordita is dry, bit hard and gritty (plenty of corn). Serious chewing skills needed. DONA CUCA MINIGORDITA ($2.50 + $1.00 extras) -- carnitas and buche with salsa. I love minis. Warned to be spicy and convinced to minimize spiciness with cheese and sour cream for extra fees. Superbly drowned. I only tasted the buche (pork stomach). RAJAS CON QUESO MINIGORDITA ($2.50) -- poblano pepper slices with cheese. First bite was tasteless. Added pickled carrots to add flavor. LOMO DE PUERDO EN ADOBO ($2.25) -- pork tenderloin in mild adobo sauce. Pork chunks galore and no add-ins. HORCHATA -- just okay. Nothing to brag about. SERVICE -- quick, friendly and informative. VENUE -- a dive. Watch your steps. 3rd world decor. Organized. Clean.

  • Michelle R.

OhhhhK! For starters, I didn't get a gordita. I got a steak torta. It could have been better without the burnt pieces of steak. I'm thinking that they have a pile of meat on the griddle and it is just constantly cooking and you get some hard pieces. The rice reminds me of my grandmas rice, garlic taste. My husband got menudo with a patita but they brought the patita separate which was weird (probably costs extra.) it was ok...I still love my Indio on Cermak but they are closed on Sunday.

BEST DAMN GORDITAS........POINT, BLANK, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!! My coworker and I came here for lunch we both had the steak gordita with beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cilantro and onions, she had hers with sour cream and cheese. The staff is not racist, friendly, the place gets busy during the week for lunch, so at times the staff can get a little overwhelmed. I have been here several times and always the same courtesy service and hot, delicious food fast.

  • Jazz C.

Really bad customer service waited 15-20mins to get the menu then after 6 mins the drinks food arrive after another 20 mins steel and cold I let the waitress know and manager didn't apologize nor do anything and told me I still had to paid for the food!!!

I've been coming here since I was like 12, so this place is somewhat nostalgic for me. Still the best gorditas I've had, just delicious! My favorites are the classic beans with cheese, carne asada, and rajas con queso. I went a couple of weeks ago after about a 4 year hiatus, and was not disappointed.

By far the most RACIST establishment I have ever been to in my life. Never have I ever been so blatantly disrespected or reagrded as "just a stupid white girl, what do I know about Mexican food...." I know that when pork is sour and dry it's not a good thing. Needless to say, I sent it back. Upon paying for our meal we were told that we would still have to pay for my gordita.. I literally tasted ONE piece of pork and my hunger disappeared faster than a Twinkie in the apocalypse. It was disgusting. Old sour pork masked in chile verde in an attempt to disguise the taste. I was then berated by 3 women who swore up and down to both my husband and I that I simply don't understand what it's supposed to taste like. They then regarded me once again as "stupid white b@%#&". A follow up call to the Health Department and a surprise inspection is definitely in the works for this establishment!

I love this restaurant. The Food To ME Is Absolutely Delicious! The staff was more than friendly with my non Hispanic heritage (that's a reply to one's who call this facility racist). I ordered a burrito and a taco, delicious. My friends ordered the gordidas I think is what they are called and both where satisfied. Their horcheta is very nice, not too sweet. Definitely coming back!

Came here Saturday around 7 .. pretty busy day... we decided where to go since no one acknowledges you. We had menu and a waitress taking our drinks right away. No chips or salsa which is sad. I ordered a Pina colada with liquor. My husband wanted a michelada which he asked if they were bomb (to the waitress) which she responded that honestly she didn't know how to make them and that the lady that knew had already left. Ookay! My Pina colada was a liquor colada because it did not taste like Pina it was so strong. So we ordered a tampiquena and my husband had a Dona cucas(I think that was the name) gordita and a pastor tacos and 1 steak taco. He said the gordita was okay not wow like they say.. tacos were nothing special at all. My tampiquena was so small and bland totally not worth the $21 the quesadillas were soooo hard but the taste they had was so good. Wish they would of been hot! Service was pretty good our ticket said maria and Erika took care of us. One if them was awesome wish I knew who it was. I don't think I will be coming back...

I've not been at this place for a year or so, and the service has gotten really bad. They had about 20 customers and about 6 employees just looking like they could care less and after about 8 minutes I left as they held their private conversations amongst themselves. They did not seem to care.

2 stars because the ONE gordita i ate (mushrooms and cheese) was ok. I got my food and no one ever came back to check if the order was ok or not, i believe they didnt even care. I got 2 gorditas, mushrooms and cheese and nopales and cheese, i was not satisfied with the nopales and cheese i didnt even take a bite from it i just tasted the nopales and they were spicy when i had clearly asked if they were spice and she said no. Well ill probable wont be back :( i used to love this place. I believe it lost its mojo.

First off, the neighborhood is Cicero, not Lawndale. Second.....GORDITAS! If you are looking for a place to go other than the standard late night trip to Maxwell Street or the United Grill, look no further!! This place is great for anytime of day, and most importantly, GET THEIR GORDITAS!!! My boyfriend's family knows the owner and he's a great guy, but aside from that. Their GORDITAS are amazing. (are you catching on here?) I don't quite know where to start: They have the carrots soaked in vinegar on the table (LOVE), they have Mexican Soda (LOVE) that pairs wonderfully with the....oh you know what i'm going to say....GORDITAS!! And speaking of the G food, get their Frijoles y Queso filled ones. Delicious! I usually get the Carne Asada because they are my favorite. But I hear alot about the FyQ kind. The last time we were there we had a snotty waitress who kept getting our order wrong and arguing with us about what we said, but the food overpowers the negatives so no lost stars here. So come here.....get GORDITAS....and leave happy with a full tummy.

Best gorditas in Chicago, period. Drive, walk, take public transportation or run to this place ASAP. It is definitely worth the the visit to Cicero, IL. The gorditas (front and center, in the spotlight, seriously grinding your tastebuds into a greasy horned up frenzy) are the best. It's a total foodgasm when you take your first bite and you get that burst of flavor. OMG HEAVENLY! We are in love. JL's favorite was the beans and cheese gordita - so simple yet so awesome. There was this relish/veggie/ thing on the table...our friend said it was really good. However, we did not give it a try, but we noticed all of the other patrons putting these items on their sandwiches, etc. Everything is freshly made and the salsa rocks. Great find. No frills. Just great handmade goodness. Best Gorditas? Hands down! Thanks Luz for the recommendation!!! Cheers, Jordan & Marks

Rude rude rude rude rude! The employees had the music super loud while they were sweeping and mopping. I went with a group of people and I swear I could not hear myself talk. I thought maybe they were near closing time so they were giving us a hint but it was about 11 and they close at 2-3 am. We finally asked if it could be put down and the lady just nodded and took about 10 minutes to pretend to put it down. We left as soon as possible. Food isn't anything special. Though I did find a piece of plastic in one of my gorditas (that might count as special) and the michelada I ordered was loaded with salt.

I get the chicken gordita/sope every time and it's good but sometimes it's a bit dry and sometimes it doesn't have much flavor. The worst part of this place is the service. Slow and always with an attitude. Especially the older lady with glasses that is always behind the cash register, rude! They do have the best HORCHATA I have ever tried.

    (4)
  • Lucy F.

This place is not as busy as it use to be, service was ok. The food is ju st average I had a steak gordita, and the meat was just to dry for me. I do like that they have jalapeños peppers and carrots for you to compliment your meal. They have plenty of seating which is great.

So amazing I don't want to write this review so the secret gets out! This has been a local's place for quite sometime, but venture in and you'll feel so welcomed. The Gorditas are made fresh--packed with so many amazing choices. The carne asada is my favorite and the avocado add on is the boom. The pork w/red sauce is my second favorite. Super fresh, authentic-- crazy great food!! Staff is friendly and will speak Spanish mostly, but don't be shy--just point to what you want and it's all good. The owner made his way to our table and bought us a round of drinks. So many smiling faces at this place. It's now a month choice, breakfast, lunch or dinner!

  • Valerie P.

I do love their gorditas I can see why they were voted Chicago's best, but I'm a big person on service and I've been to this place about 5 times and all give times I've had a bad experience with the service. Sometimes they've tried to fixed it when they messed up my order but just Friday I went with a group of friends they had bever been there I wanted them to try the food. But it's was so hard to concentrate in the food when the waiter and the cashier wear awful, the waiter had an obvious problem treating us with a friendly smile or patience when my friend decided what to order. The whole time from the moment we sat down and got the menus no hello no offer anything to drink. It's hard to enjoy the food when the service is just rude.

  • Luis B.

They own half the block, so they have to be good right? Right. I've been sold on their Gorditas for a long time and it's rare that I try something else of their menu. They also create a mean "Michelada", which is a mexican bloody mary, but with beer. Pork Gorditas, Steak Gorditas, Pepper and Cheese Gorditas, they're all winners to me. But if one day you go in and a regular Gordita is too much, tone it down and try a mini-Gordita. There's something here for everyone, so give it a try.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. Everything I tried was delicious. I ordered the torta de milanesa (breaded steak) and it was cooked to perfection. It was so good I practically inhaled it. My mom had the bistec a la mexicana and it was amazing too. What really stood out was the gordita de al pastor that I had. It was the most flavorful pastor I've tried in a long time. It's a total foodgasm when you take your first bite and you get that burst of flavor. OMG HEAVENLY! I'm in love. The food is excellent, the staff is great and the prices are good. I'm definitely coming back here. Just an FYI: it's a seat yourself place, they don't separate checks and there's a $10 minimum for credit card transactions.

I was craving DF style tacos since i was homesick for Los Angeles. We were waiting for a flight out of Midway and had time to go up the street for a quick meal, so we decided on Taqueria Aguascalientes. We had tacos al pastor, tacos de barbacoa, tacos de carne asada, a gordita doña Cuca, and a gordita de carne asada con frijoles y queso. The tacos de carne asada y al pastor were absolutely delicious! All with handmade corn tortillas that were fresh and perfect. The gorditas were so-so, good but not spectacular. I had the horchata. It was creamy, sweet and wonderful. It seemed to have evaporated milk in it. The prices are good, service is prompt. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area.

  • Brenda H.

I wouldn't say everything on the menu is great but everything I like has always been delicious. My favorite thing about this place is that you can taste the freshness in the gorditas. The masa (pita-looking thing) is sooo good. They also make their own homemade tortillas, which are more dough-y and thicker than the ones you'd buy at the store--but they're also soooo good!!! I wish I could eat fresh tortillas every day but it's too much work. Their tortas are reasonably priced and have your choice of meat, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and avocado (it's not extra here). There may also be cheese, I can't remember.. but you can ask for it, if not. Their gorditas do not come with lettuce, tomato, etc unless you ask for it. I think the main picture on their menu is misleading because it shows you a steak gordita with all the toppings of a torta. I have to point to the picture on the menu and say 'please make it like that.' They may come with nothing or cilantro and onion. Their guisado de res is so good that you will want it with nothing but the meat!!!! Their breakfast plates are on sale right now... you can have eggs with chorizo, fresh tortillas, beans, rice for $3.99!! Regular price is $5, though. You can't go wrong there.

I came here with my girlfirend because of its mostly positive reviews on here, and we have yet to be let down with restuarants that are reviewed well on here but this restuarant was definately a let down. We both had gorditas. Mine was not terrible, my girlfriend found a huge bone in hers. We decided to try a third gordita de rajas con queso and split it. I didn't like it, and my gf prefferred it to her bone-in gordita de carne asada. Not that this place was terrible, but it ws definately meh, and not a value for the price. 15$ for 3 gorditas and 2 drinks.

The fact that I will drive 20 miles to eat here on occasion should tell you a little bit about the fabled Aguascalientes...The "Hot Water", as I call it, has been feeding locals and out-of-towners for a long time, and their dining room is often full during the summer months. I want to say that they are open until 3am on weekends, but don't quote me on this. They have a "mini football burrito" that is absolutely awesome, the tacos and gorditas are top notch, and the server always makes sure that there are fresh garnish trays on the table. These little containers consist of a kind of Mexican Giardiniera, with spicy pickled carrots, jalapeno peppers, cauliflower, and maybe even tomatoes. This goes great with steak or al pastor tacos! The restaurant seats at least 100 people, and the tables are close together, sometimes making conversation hard when things are busy. Pretty much all of their signage and advertising on the outside is in Spanish, but the staff does speak English so don't be afraid. There are a couple of really sweet hostess/servers that work here that are genuinely friendly people, and that is a nice addition. You can eat like a king for 10$. Not to be missed! I love it!

3 stars: A-OK Nothing wrong with the food here. We had a little family outing and ordered pretty much every gordita on the menu. These are the ones that made it to my side of the table: Al pastor = ok (i've had better) Dona Cuca = ok (the buche was better than the carnitas) Hongo = ok (it's a mushroom. kind of hard to screw this one up) Nopalitos = ok (kind of spicy) We also had some of the hand made tortilla tacos. I preferred the taco de guisada over the gorditas simply because the gorditas get kind of soggy. The flavors are ok, but nothing mind blowing. The horchata was really good. The jamaica was on the tart side, and not as floral as I'd have preferred. Seems like a good place to come grab a taco and some cheap beers. They serve Indio in bottles, which is sometimes hard to find, so that's a plus. Otherwise, pretty average Mexican food in a city that has great Mexican food. Nothing remarkable. Just good food at fair prices with good service. Make sure you try the zanahorias. It's that clear plastic container with carrots, jalapenos and cauliflower. Kind of like a zesty Mexican giardiniera. They have a sizable parking lot and another one across the street.

Best Mexican food I've ever had. EVER. The Gorditas are gigantic and amazing. The tacos with lime are great, the tostadas and burritos are very good. The food is great cross the board. The only downside is the lighting reminds me of the flourescent cafeterias from high school and the tables are close together and can get noisy. But come and stay for the food.

I had a taste for a gordita and visited this place since it was on my way home.. You place your order in the front and pick up your food in the back.. I ordered a steak torta, steak gordita, and al pastor gordita... The al pastor is the only thing I liked suprisingly. Tasted really good.. I didnt like the texture of the gordita, the masa was hard and tasted like nothing. I like the maza to be soft on a gordita. The steak just ruined a perfectly made torta.. My issue with the steak was that the pieces of steak are very tiny and they were overcooked causing the meat to be burnt basically.. So I like the al pastor but I don't like the tiny balls of burned steak. I've experienced better gorditas at la Chiquita on 26th st and El Meson on Ogden Ave.

Let me preface this by saying, "I really do not like Mexican food". I have tried, valiantly, to be open minded about Gorditas, Quesadillas and the whole lot. But, I really do not/did not like Mexican food...that is, until today. I met a friend for lunch...at this place. She is a new friend, so I didn't feel comfortable telling her how much I avoid a) whole in the wall sort of places and b) Mexican food. So, off I went...and I was pleasantly surprised! This place is extremely busy...even at 4 p.m. on a Saturday. Although we were the only non-Hispanic people in the place, everyone was extremely nice and the wait staff made an effort to help us select our dishes. A few observations. This place is really very inexpensive! A burrito is only $4?! A large Margarita just $4.50. Our total bill was just $33 for three people. They had the best guacamole and chips! The Burrito was good. Not bad, but not necessarily marvelous. My frineds sandwich (forgot the Mexican name) looked much better. There was this relish/veggie/crudite thing on the table...friend said it was really good. Did not give it a try, but I notices all of the other patrons putting these items on their sandwiches, etc. Overall a nice experience...would definitely go back.

Home made tortillas and famously delicious Gorditas! You can see the women making the tortillas and I love knowing that I'm gonna be eatin good in da 'hood! Try the Dona Cuca or the chicharon en salsa verde. Parking is available next to the establishment or in the big lot across the street.

Oh good ole "Hot Waters". By far, this place has the best Gorditas. They offer a great selection of stuffing's including my favorite, rajas con queso y frijoles. This is definitely one of those "late night sober me up" spots. Fast service too.

Best gorditas in Chicago, period. I've been coming here since their establishment was about 15'x15' wide back in the 80's. I live in the northside of the city and make the trip down here at least once a month to have a gordita. My favorite is the beans and cheese gordita - so simple yet so awesome. I also highly recommend the rajas con queso and the carne guisado de res gorditas. Their steak tacos are good. Have them with onions and cilantro and add a little of their green salsa. Their decor is horrid but the gorditas are so good you won't even notice.

I needed to be festive this Sat. for Mex. Independence day so what better way than to eat Mexican food. My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid and it expanded so much, so business must be really good. They have a parking lot next door and another across the street (it gets really packed on the weekends). The wait wasn't long at all. There was a huge sign that said bucket of coronitas for $9 (smaller corona beer) so since I was being festive why not. I could share w/ my sister. I had a gordita there which is fried and crispy with meat inside. Why haven't I ordered them there before? Really good stuff and the beer was going down fine.

I checked this place out since they are know for their gorditas. These are some serious sized gorditas, packed with ingredients. The taste is good but nothing that is worth any hype. They sell liquor which is a little unexpected for a restaurant like this but who is going to complain. Tons of parking next to the location or across the street. The service has been a bit irritating the 2 times I've been there because of slow service. Still worthy of 4 stars though.

I have to go back and try other things before I make a final decision. I do not like their Menudo. It's just bland and seems like it's made from a can. Their tacos are good and good portions. Their gorditas are my favorite for a restaurant and I've been craving them. But I wish they had a better variety. I seem to only get the Rajas con Queso and I'm kinda bored of that. But the doughy part is good. If only El Indio in Cicero could get their gordita bread right. Their horchata is good. I hope to comeback to it soon and try some other things so I can make my final decision. The place is crowded. Now, some people I know think they are expensive, but I don't what they are talking about. I think their portions are pretty well sized and the food is good. I think they are reasonable and 100 times better than "Gorditas La Tia" in Stickney.

My coworker, Chris, and I like to take a mental break from work every day, especially when the weather is nice. Last Friday, despite trying to stick to my healthy diet of delicious Lean Cuisine and Healthy Choice meals (Mmmmmm, I say sarcastically!) he convinced me to take a walk down the street to Aguas Calientes. My other coworkers have been talking about this place for months, bragging about the delicious gorditas and other items they have been enjoying. So, it was a nice little walk down glamorous Cicero Ave (I say again sarcastically) and we decided to give it a try! I ordered a cactus gordita (gordita de nopales) and he ordered a steak burrito and steak taco. His burrito was so big for the $4 price that he couldn't even finish it and had to take the taco to go! It wasn't "football" sized like other places but it was a pretty decent size for one person. I enjoyed my cactus overall, but felt it was a little too sour for my liking. I think they marinate it with vinegar to give it a little "kick". A dab of sour cream helped balance out the puckery flavor. I may try the rajas (peppers) next time, thinking they might have a more plain flavor. It's a very bright and spacious place (lots of natural day light) which I didn't expect since it seemed like it would be small from the outside. I enjoyed my experience and am happy to know we have a solid option within walking distance from work!

Get the parrilladas when you go. Way too much meat but good.

This place is aight. For first time diners it could be a little jarring. Their overhead lights are more like spot lights. No ambiance here. The take away system is confusing, there is no menu above the counter with price points so it's like a shoot in the dark. You order and pay, and then some waitress takes your order. Too many diner dashes? The parking and driving around the place

Yummy yummy yummy! Gorditas are the bomb here! I love pretty much all of their food and have never been disappointed. My only complaint is that I don't get to go here often enough. Warning to those unfamiliar with the set up... 1) grab your table and grab it fast, they don't seat you. 2) the place is crazy busy on the weekends, be ready to order when the lady comes or you are SOL until someone else notices you 3) Doesn't hurt to know how to order your food in Spanish 4) You can order from whoever walks by if you forgot about something but they don't really like that 5) there is a second parking lot across the street

Stop choking down all that other slop (ahem, la pasadita or las pasaditas aka the terrible triangle of diarrhea and vomit) and drive or pink yourselves to this place. The gorditas (front and center, in the spotlight, seriously grinding your tastebuds into a greasy horned up frenzy) are the best I've had in the area. By area I mean super close to Chicago because La Chiquita in Franklin Park narrowly beats this place. The tortillas are awesome. They have this awesome texture that only lard can bring and nothing will be the same for you afterward. That seriously lame vegetarian lard-free nonsense that you have after you leave will only serve to anger you. Coming here will be a lifestyle change and lard-free will no longer cut it in your beans or in your tortillas. So they have the standard fillings and such. Their strength doesn't lie in variety but in the glorious execution of each dish. Limited tools but each one satisfies. The horchata (pronounced WHORE-CHATA) is pretty good. I refuse to speak of their other food options as when gorditas are involved I see/hear nothing/ no one else. GO HERE!

really good authentic food. we have friends who drive from the northern burbs every weekend to eat here. it is worth the drive and the food is really good. i usually get a gordita de al pastor and one with just beans and cheese. wash it all down with a glass of horchata. yum.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
