I recently put out a classified "late 20-something wing lover recently moved to North Center ISO the perfect wing joint". Soon after I received a rather anxious reply from this fella named Wingstop. He promised great wings and a plethora of sauce options, including Cajun (my favorite). I didn't know much about Wingstop, but he hung out with a few reputable stores in a nearby strip mall so I thought I would give him a chance. Our first date was just okay, I opted for boneless and decided to give the Cajun sauce a whirl. Sadly, the experience was mediocre at best. The fries were decent but I left underwhelmed. Later, I convinced myself to give Wingstop another chance. Maybe this guy couldn't deliver on the specialty stuff. Maybe it was the classic buffalo wings that defined his character. Why should I be so harsh on the guy? Sadly, our second date would be our last. The classic buffalo sauce was heavy on the vinegar and low on the tasty. I felt disgusted the rest of the day and resolved never to return. In the end, I fell prey to Wingstop... twice. I offer you my tale as a warning, Wingstop promises great wings but fails to deliver. Maybe you will have a better experience that I did, but I seriously doubt it.

Wasn't sure what to expect given the mixed reviews but it was fine. Girl up front was friendly. Food was timely. Pretty similar to previous wing stop experiences elsewhere. Fairly close to home...will be back.

It's a great night when you get excited when your phone beeps, only to see that it's an email from Wingstop. And then you immediately grow sad. And then you try to remember why and when you signed up for the newsletter. And then you think, "If it was a good enough deal..."

Made a return trip to WingStop. Wings were smaller and greasier. Fries were mushy and not cooked long enough. Food still took for-ev-er to come out. It was gross and left me feeling horrible all night. Never.again.

I regularly go to the Wing Stop in Northlake and order either 15 or 25 atomic all drums. Never had a problem with them and they were always good. Last night I was driving past this wing stop and decided to stop in and get 15 atomic drums to go while on the way home. Turns out they wouldn't sell me just 15 atomic drums like every other WS was perfectly happy to do. My only option was to get the combo with the choice of a side I can't eat and a drink I didn't want. It is what it is and I asked for that. To my horror they tried to charge me close to $20 for them. I questioned the price and the owner / manager stepped in and was unbelievably rude. I walked out mid-rant and drove 30min out of my way where I asked for 15 atomic drums and paid less than $10 for them!! Not all Wing Stops are created equally and please to judge all based on this one. I love the atomics that Wing Stop sells but can't imagine what would ever make me go back to this place!! ________________________________________ Can't comment on a comment so this will have to do. Paul, My "facts" are in fact "straight" and I am not wrong! I stand by my comments and the accuracy of them. You may want to consider that readers of my review can check my post for accuracy. How much would a person have to pay for 15 atomic drums in your place? I would suggest that you seriously consider the possibility of opening a Wing Stop in Westmont. If it's anything like the one I went to in Chicago it won't last long. On the positive side the girl (don't know her name) behind the register was polite, helpful and friendly. My problem was with the menu and pricing.

This place proves that poor customer service can ruin the overall rating. If I rated on food only I'd give it a 4 but the service is horrible. 4 different orders over the last 3 months and not once did they get the order right. And it's not just me. Every time I'm in another customer is complaining about getting the wrong order, no order or slow service. At a time when so many are out of work can this company not hire employees who can get an order right? Is it really that difficult to serve 10 Cajun and 10 teriyaki wings? (we were served 5 of what we ordered, 5 medium and 5 atomic). Get it together it's not rocket science.

Shake and Bake originally clued me in to the franchise. We were having a discussion about hot wings and he suggested I check out the Atomics at Wing Stop. I'm not one to back away from a spicy chicken wing so I took his advice. I haven't looked back since. The Atomics are decent. They're tasty and very spicy. They're not the type of spicy where you'd demand a glass of water, though. I found myself devouring the entire order w/o any trouble. Are they hot? Yes. Are they Hell In My Mouth Satan Screaming Down My Throat hot? Nah. I've since made Wing Stop my wing supplier of choice and when I go to hang out w/ my buddy to watch football, I usually bring over some wings to complete the American picture - football and hot wings. America #1! My default choices are the Atomic, Hot and the Cajun. If you're going to follow this order, I strongly recommend evenly pacing the Atomic to avoid having your mouth go numb therefore having all the other flavors taste like the Atomic. Even though I may have given you the impression that the Atomic is no big deal, The Spicy Index takes a huge jump from the Hot to the Atomic. It does not, as they say in the engineering department, scale linearly. So be warned, ye newcomers to the Atomic funhouse. The Hot and Cajun are crowd favorites and very flavorful. The Hot does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a traditional hot sauce based hot wing. It's tangy w/ a bit of a bite. It's the safest bet going, I think. You can't lose w/ this wing. It's straight, down the middle decent. The Cajun is a bit more flavorful and, in my humble opinion, the better spicy wing. I'd rate this in between the three flavors listed in this review and my dark horse winner. Saucy w/ a little more kick than the Hot. It's like a glorious remix of the classic house party track. It's a hand raiser. Go check it out. ps: Their fries aren't half bad, either. Order the family pack which comes bundled w/ wings, fries, carrots and celery (with dip) and enjoy some football. For America.

10 wings and fries with a coke for $10.50??? Are you kidding??? For that I would have expected some REALLY good wings, with tons of meat, wonderfully delcious fries and a great set up. Instead, everything was very average. Nothing I would hustle back for and certainly not worth $10+ for the experience. While I haven't had a BWW trip in a VERY long time, I think I can do better. The parmesan-garlic were tasty, but there was pool of grease sitting at the bottom of the dish after I finished. The fries were half cooked, with most of them kind of like lifeless limp potatoes. 4 more minutes and it would have been much different. It wasn't like they were packed and rushing. I was there at 2:15p on a Monday. It was pretty dead.

Wingstop is overpriced greasy college food. Overpriced wings that don't make you full and wishing you picked a different place for dinner after eating there. Better boneless wings at the hot counter at Dominicks, haha! THIS REVIEW HAD TO BE EDITED because the owner wrote a comment saying assuming that I had something against COLLEGE STUDENTS!! Correction: "overpriced greasy college cafeteria food". I do not have anything against college students - as I have post graduate degrees myself....so perhaps the business owner is reading this review incorrectly? Again..."OVERPRICED GREASY COLLEGE CAFETERIA LIKE FOOD" (nothing intentional towards college students!!!).

Yes, it's true... it does take them time to get the food ready. But the way I see it, perfection takes time. So if you're in a hurry, be sure to call ahead. Otherwise, their dining area is comfy and with the 4-5 flat-screen TVs, you're sure to pass the time pretty quickly. I stopped in a couple of times to pick up my order to eat at home and I always thought it was worth going back. Last night, I dined in for the first time so that my family and I can enjoy the Bears game without the crowded vibe of Buffalo Wild Wings. We got there at approx 8 p.m. and the dining area had plenty of seats open. Towards the end of the game, at about 11 pm, more people started pouring in. I'm sure it gets busier when Devry and Lane Tech students aren't on vacation, but it's definitely much comfier than BWW. They've got less flavors than BWW, but their flavors are quality and very delicious! We had just about every flavor last night. My 2 year old and my 17 year old loved the Garlic Pepper wings. I loved it too. It's great in the first couple of bites and reminds me a lot of chicarones (pork rinds) and then at about the 4th bite it gets a little too greasy for me. However, at that point, I switch to another flavor and then end up right back w/ the Garlic Pepper again. With the other flavors, I don't taste a bit of grease at all. My husband is always down for the Atomic wings. I can handle the hottest wings from BWW, but I can't handle the Atomic wings here..... now these are hottt! Their chicken tenders are good too. They're not small nor covered w/ loads of batter like some of those other places. These are actually well proportioned and tasty. Their fries are also delicious. The potato itself has a hint of sweetness and the seasoning is just right. I have to have their fries every time I order from here. They've got fountain drinks w/ free refills and if you're looking to relax on a game night... they've got beer too! The ladies room is very clean and not a speck of dirt in sight. In addition, the staff is very friendly over the phone and in person. Note: I'm not fluffing this review at all... I'm just a satisfied customer! I'll be back.

We walked in to 4 kids running around until they knocked the FIRE EQUIPMENT off the wall. Screaming, running, smashing, etc. Yikes. We step in line to order behind an older woman. 2 minutes later I ask if she's in line, while she's reading the menu above. Apparently not?? She mutters no and shuffles to the door. What kind of weird place is this?? We each ordered 2 flavors- garlic parmesan, original hot, cajun, and BBQ. The original hot were okay, garlic parm were okay initially, but TERRIBLE as I got halfway through. The bf wasn't swayed either way on flavor, but had 3 wings with no meat. Literally. There was nothing but bone covered in sauce. Not even fat on it. Super lame. Did I mention we waited 20 min for this? Like 20 min after placing the order? Excluding the terrorizing children, there were more people in the KITCHEN than patrons in the dining room. Ridiculous. They have a check-in offer. No idea if it's really worth it- I ended up just deleting mine. No thanks. Never again.

It had been well over a year since we made our last trip to Wingstop and we thought we would give it one more try. We tried to focus on the glory days where the food was fresh, tasty and most of all, what we ordered. Husband thought it best to actually go into the restaurant and place the order face to face so there would not be any confusion. Double checked what they put in the computer. Waited for it to be made and then brought it home. Unfortunately he should have made them show him each item before they stapled shut that bag because after he battled the traffic home we opened the bag to find the wrong order. AIIIGGGGHHHH. We ordered three types of BONELESS wings and instead got two kinds of nasty, greasy, tiny little bone-in wings. They were disgusting little bones covered in skin and sauce, no meat. I had enough oil resting on that parchment bag to deep fry my own wings. The food was gross. And what was in the bag was much cheaper than what we had paid for Husband calls restaurant and the manager says we have to drive back, in traffic to get the order. Husband explains we are not getting in the car again and the guy says we could go to another location even farther away. I grab the phone and very clearly inform them that no, we will not be doing that and demand a refund to our credit card. He is not polite or apologetic. Not once does he apologize. A ll he does is sigh that the refund won't post for a few days because of the christmas holiday. We check back in a few days. No refund. Call the restaurant again and they again do not apologize and say they will process the refund. Still no refund and it's been over a month. Just read my 2009 review of how great that place once was. But I have now given them enough chances to get it right in more ways than one so I will not be stopping here again.

Great wings! Atomic is my favorite - super hot goodness. My wife loves the Cajun. I don't understand the negative reviews, but the food was solid and the people friendly.

This place is worth checking out. They weren't the best wings I've had, but they were far above average, and at the right price (10 wings plus a mountain of fries and a drink for $8). I tried the buffalo hot and the atomic. The atomic was more spicy than flavorful and didn't really stack up to other ridiculously hot sauces. Everything else was great (including the fresh cut fries). They had several flat screens with sports and news on, and it reminds me of a dry version of Buffalo Wild Wings. The service was EXCELLENT! Decent place to stop in for a couple of wings, but not necessarily where you'd want to hang for a long time.

Chicken heaven! It's cheap, and there's a GREAT variety. I myself tried the Hawaiian (mild n' sweet), the Cajun (unclogged my sinuses!), and the parmeson garlic (super tasty). I am not bold enough to go for the "atomic" , but I'd imagine they are quite good. The fries are pretty outstanding, just so you know. Very fresh and with the perfect amount of seasoning. We dined in, and were pleased to see on a Friday night that there was plenty of seating. It's very clean, and the staff is super nice, too. Definitely worth more visits! Who knows...maybe one day I'll work myself up to "atomic" if my respiratory system needs an uncloggin'.

You know in Yelp reviews how people are always saying "I really wanted to love this place blah blah blah", well, it's time to turn that overused, ubiquitous phrase on it's ass. I, for one, really wanted to hate Wingstop. So there!! It has all of the components required to be really extraordinarily crappy. Located in a dilapidated strip mall off of Western, Wingstop is jammed in between a Dots discount clothier and a tanning salon... you know the one, just catty corner from Jumbo Buffet (my, isn't that name appealing)? Yep, sitting like a lovely little wing haven on the decrepit surrounding horizon, Wingstop, despite everything working against it's favor does not suck. Not in the slightest. Takeout wings - 2 kinds; Original Hot and Hickory BBQ - on a balmy Sunday night were not only entirely better than expected but even, dare I say it, swoonworthy??!! Maybe 'twas the heat of both the weather and those fingerlickin' wings getting to me, perhaps I just love waaangs like a fat kid loves cake... either way, they were tasty morsels of spicy, tangy delight! The original hot were just how I love 'em, nice and buttery with a spicy and fabulously vinegary smack on the back end. Who doesn't love a fiery smack on the behind, I know I do! The BBQ wings were also yumz, super sweet and sticky, smothered in hickory love sauce, but sorry kids, the spicy takes my blue ribbon. A side order of potato salad was totally unnecessary - what can I say, I had eyes bigger than stomach syndrome - and sorta bland to boot. Seeing as it's called Wingstop and not Potatosaladstop, I get that it's not their forté and will forgo said order next time around. Wings only. Wings ahoy. Wings or bust. I can see the bumper sticker now, ridin' high on the round backside of my sexy hooptie, "this 'lil chickie only stops for Wingstop".... yeah, Atomicwangville here I come!

This location has good wings however you get less for your money than other wing stop locations. I am use to getting 10 pieces for a particular price and here you only get 8 for that same price!!!! I felt cheated in regards to that! Also don't like paying extra for condiments that should come with wings ( blue cheese and celery)

So.... yeah.... um..... nope. Wing STOP don't go. This is like a poor man's Buffalo Wild Wings (but it costs more, wtf mate?) The service was nice and friendly, but I pay for food not a smile. My fiance and I went in for a quick snack. We got 5 "atomic" and 5 "garlic parmesan". The atomic were in a chunky sauce that was a little peppery and some residual heat once it was eaten. But it was NOTHING to be called atomic. The flavor was not as flavorful or spicy as Buffalo Joe's Suicide wings. The garlic parmesan was better. It was more like a parmesan crusted wing, but not as good as other places. Plus as a kicker the wings are pretty damn small and at a price of 7.99 as a combo they are not exactly the cheapest wings in town. All things considered, I would rather go anywhere else wings. I feel like I'm the only person who was not impressed.... perhaps I can entire everyone who enjoyed these wings to go to wing fest next year and experience good wings.

Ok, so this is a chain restaurant, and I've only been to this particular one today, but I've been to three other Wing Stops in the past, and I'm assuming the food is pretty much the same, as it all probably comes frozen from the same vendor(s). So, I've liked WS in the past, that's why I keep ordering from here. My husband likes boneless wings, so that's what I've always ordered from them. They are great, love the sauces, love their fries, pretty decent and consistent customer service in all the WS. I like that they have an app and I can order the food with my phone then pick it up in aprox. an hour. So, tonight was Super Bowl. I really could have cared less. I needed food on my way home from work. When I tried to order on the app, they weren't accepting any further online orders due to Super Bowl. Alright, so I called them, anticipating the worst. I'm told 14 min. Ok, that's not bad at all. I get there, they are adequately staffed, and busy, but not super busy. Why couldn't I just order on the app? But whatever. The food was hot and ready when I got there, the staff was competent, and all that was appreciated. So, my husband and I are doing this whole low carb thing, so I decide to order the regular wings to cut down on the amount of breading, with a large side of coleslaw. So, now, the reason is coming that I am giving them 3-stars instead of 5. The wings were really terrible! The wings were super skinny with like barely 2 bites of meat on each little wing-ding. I've actually NEVER seen wings that small and skinny, and then frying them just shrunk them down even more and dried out a lot of the meat, making each wing mostly bone. So, I might have given it 4-stars and just said, order the boneless wings, but come on! The place is called WING STOP for goodness sake. A boneless wing is nothing more than a chicken nugget made from the breast, not even a wing. If your name says wings, your wings should be rockin'. I will continue to go there but I will ONLY order boneless wings. The saving grace, the coleslaw was super fresh and delicious. I gave my husband all the wings and sat and ate the large by myself.

I just purchased the 6 wing combo today and the wings are pretty good, but I take away a star because the fries are way undercooked and I had to cover them in cheese (thank god I bought cheese fries) to hide the flavor. And I take away another star because I went up to the lady at the counter and said I wanted a to go order with original hot sauce. She had to ask again what it was I wanted, and had to ask again if it was to go. I'll try some more wings at another point, but will not be taking the combo w/ fries.

I love wings and was very excited about this place. I got the Atomic and the lemon pepper(just to mix it up). The lemon pepper were flavorful but dry. The Atomic were indeed hot but just not good. They did not have that orangy-vinegar]hot sauce I dig. This sauce was a thick bbq-like sauce. All in all, I probably will not give this place another try.

This is the hangout place after classes so I love the large parking lot. The wings are ok and the sauces were hit or miss depending on which one. The fries are the best with a sprinkling of sugar to make them different.

Straight up garbage. The wings aren't sauced, they're powdered. Disgusting. Went in last night for a carry out order. They had the Oxygen channel blaring on the main screen, while baseball was on in the back, silently suffering. lol. Paul P. u mad bro?

Let me preface by saying I am not fond of Wingstop for many reasons. If you've never been, it's a chicken wing place with decent selected sides and beer. They offer no other food options. Too expensive, eleven dollars for a ten piece meal with a side and drink. (Free refills on fountain soda). Food taste is average and nothing special, but if you had to have wings they are far better than the stuff you'd get at any bar or diner. It's funny, it's not like I haven't had their food before, which I have had time and again. Every time trying to decide if I like it or hate it. I don't hate it, but I don't care for it either. After our meal, all myself and a buddy thought was how we could have spent the same money better at Quizno's next door or at McDonald's. We were trying to have a quick meal before getting to an appointment and Wingstop was the choice. Both of us left feeling unfulfilled and cheated. The counter gal was cool enough, but I think she's manning an unmanned ship when she expects the kitchen staff will heed all instructions while filling your order. We saw a few orders come out larger than ordered. Of course that benefits you the end customer, especially if you don't say anything and just take what's given. Lacking attention and then seeing that on her face equals a blah work environment and overall feeling to me of, did they get everything right? Note to my people that like mild sauce, it's not even remotely tasteful; it's oily and worthless, so bump up to something with heat. People talk about the heat on their wings, we're talking about vinegar and coloring that leaves that residue on your fingers like flaming hot cheetos do. I do remember they offer one flavor that has the hot sauce and then flecks of pepper, can't remember which but that is a good one. What is up with their Men's room? It's as if having one was an afterthought and equipment was added on a "need-to" basis. Funny. You wash your hands by the toilet and urinate next to the hand dryer. Nice. Can be scary, especially if a weirdo is hiding in the stall while your in the cubby hole washing hands. BDubs and Buffalo Joe's are still my wing stops. Ya heard.

Since it's not always ideal to take a drive all the way to Evanston to get some Buffalo Joes, I decided to try Wing stop which is like a 3 min drive from my place. To my surprise, their wings are pretty good. The majority of their flavors are none I've ever tasted before. Have you ever had a lemon peppered or a garlic parmesan chicken wing? I haven't prior to Wing stop. I have to say that they were pretty good. It's definitely a place I would visit if I wanted wings and didn't want to drive all the way from the city to Evanston for Buffalo Joes

I've heard mixed reviews from my friends on the quality and taste of their wings. I find them to be delicious! The parmesan garlic is a dry rub, that's the way I prefer for wings. Their beans, fries, and slaw are all a meh at best. Second time I went to this place I ordered twenty wings. After the cashier looked at me I said "ya I know I'm fat". Huge uproar of laugher from friends and strangers occurred. I guess its funny when you tell a stranger you're fat. Great thing to order if you like to stuff your face while watching the Chicago Bears embarrass the City on national TV.

Wings! [STOP] After a long evening fighting off the barbarians in a pre-Christmas frenzy, I saw a Wingstop next door [STOP] I quickly perused the menu and decided quickly on some Garlic Parmesan and Hickory Smoky BBQ well done[STOP] The clerk took my name and I was skeptical if they would remember how to pronounce it but I had a good time watching the Bulls game on the TV overhead [STOP] I saw on the wall that they sell beer at $12 or $16 a pitcher which is not too bad I guess considering that it's a wing spot [STOP] Other people were waiting in line and every time the deep fryer went off I was crossing my fingers hoping to catch one of these wings [STOP] While watching other people, I saw an unearthly orange shine on the wings that resembled Cheetos orange bright but I didn't care - I wanted WINGS [STOP] After taking two buses home in quick fashion, I was rocked by the aromatics of the magical wing sauce [STOP] I pulled the wings out and saw that they were Lilliputian in nature, but were rocked out and well done [STOP] Chowing down on some Hickory Smoky BBQ sauce, there was smokiness, BBQness, and some thick bleu cheese leading to utter flavor overdose [STOP] After the BBQ was finished it was on to the Garlic Parmesan which was sauceless but caked with a fine layer of Parmesan cheese [STOP] The wing was crispy, extra crispy since I ordered it well done and the wings were nicely played [STOP] Dipped in the bleu cheese, the thick hunks of the bleu was at the bottom of the dipping cup [STOP] It was a moment of satisfaction, knowing that once and for all Wingstop was Get Yo Wing On-worthy [STOP] Now stop playin' y'all and Get Yo Wing On at WINGSTOP [STOP]

So, my Son Nick and I were going to hit our other favorite wing spot today but we were running short on time and since we were at Toys R Us already Lo and Behold there is a Wing Stop Restaurant 2 doors down... Okay, this is not that big of a place but enough to hold about 10 or so tables... You can eat in or carry out here. Pretty Much the same Flavor Choices as my other Favorite Wing Place which shall remain nameless... I ordered Boneless Mild Wings and Nick ordered Boneless Parmesan Garlic Wings which he did not like so we switched and I ate his and he ate my Mild Wings. Not quite sure what Nick did'nt like about the Parmesan Garlic Wings, they were pretty good! We both ordered the Meal Deal which included these Fantastic Hand- Cut Fries and a Drink for under $10.00. I don't even normally like fries but these were so good, almost as good as my Favorite Fries out at Wrigley... In Second Place for Sure, WingStop Fries! A Couple of Guys at the Counter, Nice Enough.... So, WingStop, Bone-In or Boneless Wings, Great Fries, some sides as well such as Cole Slaw and Potato Salad. Convenient Location, should be a hit with the school crowd close by.. Is this the Better of the 2 Wing Establishments? I plead the 5th on this one.....

went here twice to order wings. Both times were during the Superbowl. The first time I waited 3 hours even though I placed my order 6 hrs before pick up. The second year I gave them a second chance (even though I received no discount and hardly an apology the first time). The second Superbowl the wings were on time for my Party BUT they were REALLY DRY like they had been done hours before they just let them sit (possibly because when I called I made them promise they would be done when I got there.) Sorry guys never again. I get better wings at jewel and they are ready for me. Pretty sad when the wings are better at Jewel's Deli.

I like wings... a lot. I don't dream about them but I've been known to occasionally hum a made-up song that kinda sounds like "I'd like to have babies with chicken wings and they are awesome bee-ba-bee" But I digress. I really wanted to love Wing Stop because I could add it to my go--to list of places within a half mile of my house. I'm conflicted. The boneless wings were okay, the fries were okay. The bbq sauce was a lot like KC Masterpiece which I personally don't like but they had a decent zing. I also had the Hawaiian and they were okay. The cajun ones were very hot, the sauce is probably mostly hot sauce. The cheese for the fries was okay, I really can't tell you what flavor cheese it is. So there you have it. BWW3 is still my number one, Hooters is still number two. This place is number four because surely someone is better. The wings were gloppy and not very crisp or crunchy. I will try them again. I can't hold back my sarcastic and pointless comment that the wings taste like stuff I'd get from a buffet or from a college cafeteria.

I don't think I'd ever come back. While it may be a hair cheaper than buffalo wild wings, the food is certainly worse, and I had the same inattentive experience that I've seen in other reviews. I had the Lemon Pepper and Hot boneless wings. The Hot Boneless wings were passable, pretty much standard fare for buffalo sauce. The Lemon Pepper was disgusting. It had an oddly fishy smell and taste, not to mention that it was literally swimming in oil, so much so that it rendered the unfortunate last man standing to inedible status. Fries were solidly okay, and the Bleu cheese dressing was not a stand out. If I'm eating in I'd rather go to Bdubs, if I'm taking away I'd rather go to... well Bdubs.

I love this place. It's one of my favorite date places. Not only because I love wings, but also because if a guy can handle this gal eating wings, then it probably won't work. One of my favorites has been the garlic parmesan. It can be a little salty, which I love. The BBQ is amazing. Love it. It's smokey and just great. The original is good. It has a good buffalo flavor, not too spicy. The atomic, however, well, it's been the first wing to floor me. I couldn't do it. Not at all. I pick it up, licked my finger tip, and I was done. Atomic Wings 1, Erini 0. Well played. (They've actually got black peppercorns on them! It's a first I've seen. It was a good flavor, but waaaaaaay too much heat for me to handle.) I also love the fries. Dip them in cheese... SO GOOD. I just love this place. I haven't had the boneless.. nor have I tried doing carry out. The place isn't the nicest inside, but the food is so amazing. One thing I did notice about someone who was getting carry out the last time I was there (this weekend), just wait for your food there. Don't leave the restaurant. Because they might call your name and you won't be there to get it.. then you feel all high and mighty and pissy and yell at the staff. Just wait the 5 or more minutes for your food there. And be nice to your food staff. Anyway. LOVE this place, and will be tasting all of their yummy flavors. Well, minus the atomic. (I applaud my man though, he ate most of them.)

I order came home and found out they left things out and gave me the wrong sides. How hard is it to just read the freaking receipt. I do not get it. This is the 3rd time they've done this to me and last. There are other great wing places I can visit and get my order fulfilled with with what i actually want.

Went here around 11pm, starving when we couldn't find anywhere else open in the area. Big mistake. The poor schleps behind the counter at Wing Stop were SO nice and really trying hard, hustling. So the 2nd star is for them. Otherwise, it took OVER 35 minutes of waiting to get 2 "glider" combos (basically a sloppy chicken patty on a bun and that's IT, not even a pickle). The sandwiches were nothing special and left me feeling ill. Fries were decent but we got cheese for them and it was watery and nasty. it's hard to mess up basic nacho cheese, but they did. Wasted an hour of my life and $20 here...Never again! Should have just gone to Jewel next door for a grab and go sandwich for $5.

Ding Ding Chicken Wing. Yep. That is what I sing to myself every time I think of good ol' fashion wings. Ummm--can someone say YUMMY!?! There is nothing wrong with getting a hot mess of blue cheese dressing & hot wing sauce on your face while you are chewing such meaty goodness off those little bones. [I said bone] Anyway. The service is good. The food is better. Do not try the atomic wings unless you want to have all your holes in your body burn for up to 24 hours. They taste so good--but consumer beware!

I was recently visiting Chicago from California and stopped by this wingstop with my family and I have to say that it has been the best wingstop that I've ever gone to! I'm a huge fan of wingstop but I have to say that the service at this particular location was amazing! The employees actually looked like they enjoyed their job as they offered great service with a smile! Other wingstops that I frequent locally aren't as pleasant as this one was for me. If I could move this location to California, I would! :)

"Holy wings, batman!" ...that's what I was hoping to say to myself after scarfing down some of these bad boys...but both times they've fallen a little flat. Now don't get me wrong--the actual taste is not BAD, the wings certainly suffice, but there are a few major flaws: (Information disclosure: I've only had the boneless wings, so you bone-in lovers, take my review with a grain of salt.) 1) The pieces are SMALL. I went there two days ago because my man had a hankering for some wings. She gave me my moderate order of 10 boneless and I swear, I felt the weight of the box a few times thinking perhaps they missed some of my order. Open that lil box and see sure enough, there were 10 in there--but 10 very very puny pieces. 2) If you let the wings get cold, you can actually taste that "freezer'/frozen" taste to them. You know, that fakey-artificial aftertaste. 3) Lack a large variety of sauces (e.g. like B-dubs) OK, so that's enough bitching. The good is that they're definitely moderately-cheaply priced as far as wings go. (Well heck they should be seeing as they're small!) And the actual lovely hot sauce buttery goodness they're covered in is plentiful. **AND the fries are GOOD** (But hey, that's not what you're going there for.) Would I go there in a pinch? Yes. Can I make better wings at home for cheaper? ....yes. 3 stars: A-OK.

Let me just say. ORDER AHEAD OF TIME. it took half an hour to make 20 wings.that being said. the wings are small. and some taste like any other wings... BUT! the garlic parmesan blew me away. it was SUPER crispy (we ate at the restaurant). DROWNED in a garlicy oil. and sprinkled with real parmesan. i LOVE garlic so this may have affected my decision. but they may have been the best garlic parmesan wings i've had around here...

This is the best wing/wingstop location in all of chicago. The one in wicker park has been nothing but horrible service of 45 minutes waits with the place clear that made me never want to eat a wingstop again but this loation was my saviour. my last meal only days ago from order to eating was about 6 minute. now thats great service. Hot, delicious and plentiful, these guys know their wings

I'm a huge fan of buffalo/hot wings so it was a nice surprise to see this place finally open up. And there is plenty of parking compared to the Wicker Park location. Bonus. And the dine-in area is sizable, but I wonder if it all the Lane kids will fill it during school hours, making lunch there a gamble. The wings seem to be bigger than Buffalo Wild Wings, but the sauce they put on them are only OK. I do have to give them credit for their atomic sauce. I love hot wings. The hotter the better, but the atomic wings are almost unbearably hot! If you cannot handle a little heat, you should stay FAR away from the atomic wings. They are the hottest wings I've ever had. Hotter than the Blazin' Wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. They had me constantly blowing my nose and crying like a little girly man. My manhood has been damaged by those wings. Argh. When I'm in the area, I'll come back to get my sauce-covered wing fix here but I'll still prefer to get my wings just across the parking lot at the chinese restaurant.

Don't discount strip mall eateries. I've had some pretty boring/small/nothing to write home about wings in my day. I've even made my own and thought they were better than some I've had in bars. Last night, we were lazy and couldn't figure out what to cook. Remembering we wanted to try Wingstop ("just this once!"), we ordered online for take out. First, $16 for dinner ain't bad. Enjoy your own beer at home and you've got a nice cheap meal in. Second, if you're looking to try different wing sauces, they have a nice selection. We went with Hawaiin (sweet and tangy) and Cajun (like regular hot wings, but with an extra kick) and were pleased. They are small-ish wings, so splitting 20 between two people was perfect. The fries were good, though very salty. If you want wings, but don't want to eat them at a bar, this place is worth checking out.

Not coming back ever! I went here with my young kids for a late lunch. We ordered the wings and while we were eating saw cockroaches on the floor! The wings were greasy and taste funny. To top it off, a group of school kids came in and ordered food. One of them claimed she was a vegetarian and didn't order chicken- only fries that she ate with a sandwich she brought. The manager threw a fit in front of my kids and everyone there. He kicked them out, claiming they all have to eat there and no out side food was allowed. My kids and I all felt so bad for this poor kid and we all walked out mid meal. This place is horrible...Roaches! Bad Food AND an ignorant manager that picks on kids for special diets! They do not get my vote or our business ever again.

Oh my freakin LORD! I have tried the Garlic Parmesan wings and I SO want to bear its children!!!!!!!! Buttery garlicky sauce without being overpowering, covered in a ton of parmesan cheese....omg I had to keep myself from licking the wax paper clean! *homerdroooooooooooooooool* P.S. Service is still super friendly, even 45 minutes before closing!

I'm not a huge wing fan until I had the wings from Wingstop! My friend picked up wings for the super bowl and he had a slight problem. They asked him to pick up at 3:30 and he had to wait a half hour to get the wings! He said it was packed to the gills and was annoyed by that. It was super bowl Sunday after all. We had 3 kinds of wings, regular hot, sweet bbq and parmesan garlic. It was very hard to pick a favorite but I loved the plain hot wings. We had blue cheese and ranch dressing. Both were very creamy and had lots of flavor. The blue cheese dressing had huge chunks of cheese in the dressing. I would love to sample their boneless wings next. This place has awesome wings, you must give it a try!

Tried to place an online order. Now know how to start a Wingstop franchise but alas cannot actually get into your menu. Calling BWW instead for our hot wings fix, in this day and age if you want customers to order carry out, invest in maintaining a website that works!

I was at the nearby Toys-R-Us to buy some Christmas gifts and stopped in at this Wingstop. Although I had never heard of it, Wingstop is a chain of 600 restaurants. They serve only wings and chicken strips. The sauces for the wings are: Original Hot, Cajun, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, Teriyaki and something called "Atomic" which I assume is the hottest. I had the Original Hot and Hickory Smoked. Perfectly passable chicken wings. My only complaint is that I've had meatier chicken wings in my life; these seemed a little scrawny. Sides include french fries, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and vegetable sticks. The potato salad reminded me of my moms. Price is $5.99 for 10 wings while a combo with drink and side is $7.99.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! There's FINALLY a Wingstop close to where I live. I've been a Wingstop fan for almost a decade (Read my review of the Galewood location: yelp.com/biz/wingstop-el… ). This Wingstop location may be the best one yet. It's got more seating than average, plenty of parking, and the staff was really friendly (they always are). I'm torn between telling everyone all about it, and keeping it to myself so the place doesn't get too crowded.

I have never heard of this place until today. Me and a buddy was deciding where to get carry out from, it was either Mexican food or wings. So I chose wings. We had 50 wings to go, I forgot how much it was but it was like $39 I think, somewhere along those lines. We were able to mix and match the flavor of the sauce. And there were 2 sides we could choose, we chose the fries. So we went back to my buddies house and ate with his family. Im usually not a fan of wings with sauce on them, but these were very good and I liked it alot. Just the right amount of sauce and decent sized wings. And the flavor was very good. We had the mild, bbq, terriyaqi and something else I forgot. My favorite was the bbq, had a nice little kick of spicyness to it but not too spicy. The fries were very good as well, they added a touch of sugar to it, which is a first for me, but I liked it. I will definitely be back again for some more wings.

Wingstop is my silver medal. After having cravings for the fast-food-esque BWW, Wingstop had what I was looking for: Cheap wings, good fries and a range of sauces to choose from! Wings are decent. Not spectacular, but not too bad. I think they put a mix of salt and sugar on their fries... There is definitely a sweet-er taste. Recently, I ordered wings and forgot to say "boneless" which I realized when I got home... Long story short, they replaced my ENTIRE order. For free. And then apologized. I said, "NO, nononononono. It was my fault. You all are awesome." And they are! Wingstop is a definite crave-stopper. Honey BBQ = NOM NOM NOM

This place is the absolute worst. One three separate occasions I have placed orders to go, more than an hour in advance, only to wait for than 45 minutes past my pickup time. Granted, once was during the Superbowl and the once was today during Bears/Packers MNF. Both times I waited more than 45 minutes past the pickup time. When I do get the wings they are more pigeon wings and less chicken wings. Mostly just bones and very little meat. The sauce is ok, but whatever, its buffalo sauce, hard to eff that up. They never put enough on and they're usually dry. They're also fairly rude in there too, trying to place blame on you for the order being late. Don't bother, this place really is absolute crap.

    (1)
  • sarah s.

Terrible, slow service. Really loud sports/booty music blaring is an absolute assault to the eardrums, and not very comfortable nor clean dining room make dining there an unpleasant experience. Tiny little nuggets they call boneless wings. Quite pricey as well; even the "special" seems pricey: 50 cent wings. However, they taste pretty good, and even the small fries are huge.

    (2)
  • Michael A.

Although the chicken can be pretty juicy, they need more of a selection of sauces and lower prices. Usually when I go there, the males that take my order are pretty friendly, but the females can give you a little bit of an attitude (not being sexist) so watch out for that. If you're conflicted between going here and Buffalo Wild Wings then you shouldn't have to think about it GO TO BWW!

    (3)
  • Rico T.

I really wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The garlic parmesan wings were really tasty. The hickory bbq wings were not as good, but still memorable. 20 wings, 2 beers, $20. Can't beat that with a bat.

    (4)
  • Michael G.

The only redeeming quality is that the boneless wings are $0.50/ea on Monday's and Tuesday's. Other than that the wings (boneless) look and feel like alligator skin. Ranch sauce costs extra and the sauce variety is lacking. Save the trouble and go to BWW on Lincoln.

    (2)
  • Jhoanna M.

The sauces are awesome, it gave us great ideas to try at home! But when we are not in the mood to cook them ourselves, we head over for good flavors, and the the fries are my favorite! A little over priced, and can go to a bar for cheaper.. but this is a way better option for movie night, and no crowds. Stay away from the atomic, its danger!! lol

I should begin by saying I'm not really a "wing person". I know people who are obsessed with the wings. In fact, I don't even like the wings. I prefer the drumstick instead of the wing. In fact, I think the drumsticks are getting the short end of the stick. They're not even mentioned. What's that all about? Propaganda from the poultry industry no doubt. With that said I had some take out from Wing Stop on a Friday night and was impressed. First off, I was able to order JUST drumsticks with my order for $1 extra. Which is pretty standard. They have several types of flavors for the wings: ATOMIC - CAJUN - ORIGINAL HOT - MILD. I had the HOT, but GARLIC PARMESAN was my favorite. I'm also not a big fry person, but their fries are pretty great. Standard ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. For a non wing person it was pretty good. It's super close to home so I will certainly be back. Not sure about beverages, thought I saw beer signs.....

Stopped here on a sunday for some GAME FOOD.. and I was pleased got 40 wings mixed with bbq, teriyaki & hawaiin also got fries and potato salad for the guys and there was nothing left buy the end of the night. The inside is pretty cool its brand new cant comment on the sit down service but take out was quick and convenient. And food was Great..

Living in the neighborhood, being a male, I was very excited to get a wing joint in walking distance, and anticipated their opening. Unfortunately, possibly due to the strip mall culture, this place is virtually dead inside and is more of a take out place. It's never busy, even during major sports evens like the Stanley cup finals and doesn't seem to want to be a sports bar even though it would triple their revenue. No actual bar, only bottles from behind the register, tv's are way too high and small, wings are so-so. I'm pretty disappointed but if they get their act together I can forgo mediocre wings for a good atmosphere.

I had a bad day Tuesday and decided to treat myself to wings, I've been craving them for the last few days. Luckily I live close to Wing Stop, I decided to walk over as soon as the Belmont bus deposited me at the Western stop. I ordered the 10 wing combo half hot/half lemon pepper. The fries were decent nothing to write home about. The hot wings were my favorite, they're not hot at all. At one point I was dipping fries directly in the sauce and I barely had a stinging sensation, they can defintely kick up the flavor. I wasn't too fond of the lemon pepper flavor. All in all not bad. Not my favorite but I'll be back. The wings take about 15 minutes to cook so don't expect to run in and out in 5 minutes, if you want to do that order online.

  • Jim F.

Let me ask you a question: Does cutting an entire wing in two (little drumstick/forearm) make it fair to charge as two pieces!? I have always had a chicken wing as ONE PIECE not 2!! My order was immediately reduced from a 10 piece to a 5 piece. My order of wings were not cooked fresh and were dry ,stringy and tepid. I spent nearly $10.00 for my combo meal and was very disappointed. I won't head there ever again. I suspect that KFC branched out and owns this company because the slaw was just like KFC slaw. NOT HAPPY HERE.

so i like wings and i drive past this place on the way home everyday....today i decided to stop in and check it out. the place wasn't full but did start to fill up as I was inside. They have tables to take a seat but the lighting was bad and it seemed a little dark inside. i ordered the 10 piece with Cajun and BBQ sauce but didn't try the fresh cut fries or the hot cheddar cheese sauce out of worry for my waistline but they sounded pretty good. it took like 15 min to get my order which i thought was a little long but the wings are cooked on the spot so i cant complain. the BBQ were super saucy and had a good flavor. the cajun were good, but i'm guessing you should go for the atomic if you are looking for something spicier. the wings were good size, comparable to BW3, but i would rather have the spicy garlic wings from there.....i'll go back but only if i'm riding by, it's not a let me go outta my way kind of place but is solid if you just happen to be driving by and want some wings...

  • Brian G.

I have had a lot of wings in my time and these fall into the bottom half. The place was nice and clean so no qualms with that. Although I do appreciate the variety of flavors over the typical three choice bar wings, the meat was quite dry with little meat and the flavors were both bland and overpowering depending on each bite. I tried two different kinds (can't remember which as my visit was months ago) and was very unimpressed. If I want a variety of flavors I will go to BWW. Otherwise, I will just go up the street to o'donovans.

  • Kat L.

I'm a wingstop believer. Their meat is juicier and meatier than other wing competitors like BWW. Plentiful sauce options. Garlic Parmesan is my choice pick, but the bbq and hot are also really good. I haven't been failed yet, stand in ipen to trying others like their Hawaiian and mango habanero. Fries are Cajun but doused with sugar. Worth a try if you've never had 'em before, but I start opting for the rolls to pair with my wings. All other sides tend to be forgettable, but never bad. It's more a grab-n-go joint, but if you must stay, there are a few tv's (no sound), and a modest variety of bottled beer, including coors light, dos Equis, and corona. Extra plus: they're open til midnight! Honestly i mostly use the spot to make a to-go order when there's a fight to watch or something on TV, but don't want pizza

We had a pretty awful experience. First, we bought a groupon and had an ordering miscommunication. NONE of our order was covered by the groupon. So we bought the $18 groupon and then had to pay $30 for everything we ordered, which should have all been covered by the groupon. And when I ordered I told the person I talked to that we had a groupon BEFORE I started ordering and was never told that EVERYTHING I ordered wasn't covered by the groupon. So, besides the communication issue, the food was very disappointing. EVERYTHING was over seasoned and dry. We had the boneless wings, classic wings, strips, Cajun fries, and coleslaw. The boneless wings were the only thing we kind of enjoyed. Some of the wings were so over cooked and dry they were inedible. And I got a headache from all of the seasoning and salt on my lemon pepper strips and Cajun fries. And because we had to pay full price... We still have our groupon. It was not a good experience.

My boyfriend wanted wings so I was on a manhunt for a place that was new and that had decent reviews. Stumbled upon the wingstop. I got the boneless wings, half medium sauce, and half BBQ sauce. I also got fries with the order. My boyfriend was impressed with the BBQ boneless wings. I tried both and I thought they were really delicious. I think the prices were a little steep but then again this is Chicago and everything is expensive. The wing stop is a pretty solid joint. I am sure I will stop on by when I am in the area again!

Let's talk about the fact that I just watched my entire order made by a person without gloves. Not only was he not wearing gloves, but he not once washed them. Same hands were used to touch multiple different sauce bowls that had not been cleaned In idk how long... His method of cleaning his hands you ask? By wiping them on his dirty shirt he was wearing. Of course I confronted the manager and asked how many people were certified safe to handle food. His response was 1. 1!!! In an entire shift only 1. Himself, now if you're cool with ppl who make your food and are seen seconds later with a broom in their hand then by all means this place is for you. Everyone else don't do it!

I don't get it...I'm sick from eating this crap. Now let me say this. If I was 15 this would be 5 star eating. I'm not so it's shit that hurts my gut so much so that if I could afford Bruce Rauner's insurance I would be in the emergency room in Highland Park. So in a way if I could afford the trip this would be like Alinea in terms of price.

I'm from Texas so I know and LOVE Wingstop! I was so excited when I realized there was one close by. We went every Friday for a month. Food started out great but then they started messing up my order and the service got worse and worse. In their defense they were short staffed!!! But not one person there had any pride in their work. Sadly I refuse to eat there again. We found another I'd rather make a trip for then continue to give my business to the Western location when the customer service is non existent.

  • Erica L.

Hubby and I usually split the 15 piece wing combo for 2 with 2 flavors: he picks a spicy one and I always get the lemon pepper. The wings are made fresh to order so be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. The skin is crispy; the meat moist and tender. So much better than BW3s. The fries are nice thick cut, but have been soggy a few times we've ordered. We sometimes opt for a side of carrots and celery instead. The staff are friendly. Hubby was so happy when he was carded thinking it was because he ordered a beer, but sad when it was because he used his credit card. The cashier humored him. We typically eat there to minimize the food getting soggy or cold. It's a great place to catch a game, or games running concurrently since there are several TVs. Glad this location is just a walk away!

Food is good but customer service is horrendous. Don't expect them to do anything for you if they get your order wrong. The GM is terrible and refused to give his name when asked, which is against the law. If you're craving wings, try a different location!

Long wait, even though I placed my order on line, I still had to wait 15 minutes. This is going to be my last time here. Sucks because the food isn't that bad, and the fries are amazing

  • Shaina K.

Decent wings. We stopped in here to pick some up after a decent amount of wandering around Mariano's and Unleashed (aka Petco). Their Monday special was 60 cent boneless wings, which was not too bad of a deal. We ordered the garlic parm, atomic, and BBQ. The food came out quickly. Everything was correct, and warm. I wish that they had packaged the wings in a plastic bag rather than a paper, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Then we headed back out to our "car" (aka iGo), only to have it not start. It was nice to have something to eat while we waited the two hours for the tow truck to come. The wings were crispy and tasty! I really liked the garlic parm. This Wingstop is a bit far from home, but it will definitely be a go-to place after grocery shopping. I mean, who wants to cook after all that shopping?

The food here is ok, but I truly love most chicken wangs (wings), but the service is mediocre, not exactly rude service, but not friendly at all and they ALWAYS seem to forget something or get the order wrong. Also there should be a new french fry Togo container, a 5 minute drive from the store to the house and now you've got yourself some warm and moist potato mush. Thanks Wang Stop!

After reading all the bad reviews, I was unsure about getting a groupon for this place but my friend and I used to always do wings dates, so I thought about trying some place new instead of our usual. We ordered the family pack with original hot, hawaiian, and lemon pepper, and two rolls. We were about to order some cokes when to our delight, they had beer on the menu. Yay! Suddenly the world became a brighter place. We sat down with our beers and there seemed to be nothing to complain about. Seemed clean and the service at the counter was nice. Our name got called so I went up to grab our order, even though the family behind us got their wings brought to them. Whatever- I know how to walk and carry. The napkin situation was a little off-putting because you had to tear some off a roll at the front. I know we are a napkin wasting kind of people, but it is wings, so we do want a stack of them. The buns were meh. The fries were good. Celery was crunchy and refreshing. The original hot was good- not as hot as I like- but good on flavor. The Hawaiian was not our fave- too saucy and not in a good way. Omg, lemon pepper. This is the one. This is my soul wingmate. Crispy with a zingy lemon and pepper coating, not saucy. Love it. Will be back for more of these for sure.

The service here is atrocious. The food isn't worth dealing with the service. And where are the trash cans?

This was a very disappointing experience. On June 15, 2013, they got my order wrong the very 1st time I was there. I called to let them know and they told me they would put a note in their computer and that next time I come in I'd get the credit. No time limitations. I saved my receipt just in case. I stopped in today to redeem my credit. I was told by the manager, Zachary, (or at least he said he was the manager) there was no note in the computer or in their "books" and all he could do was give me 10% off. I argued with him that it was not the information that I was given and I thought it was poor customer service. I settled for the 10% because at this point my family was hungry. When I opened my wings at home they were all dried out and burnt. Sad that a place that's called Wingstop doesn't know how to cook wings and has bad service. This is my LAST stop at Wingstop!

Yeah.. Wanted to go here because of a few friends said they had good cheap wings. First of all their wings are way over priced. The chicken wing itself was small flavorless meat. You can tell they were frozen and not thawed right from the over cooked flavorless watered down meat in the middle. Whoever says this place is good.. Has obviously never had good wings before. Also the beer on tap was skunky. The people who work there were very nice though. It's not their fault their company has cheap shitty wings. You would be better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings for the better beer and atmosphere.

Shitty customer service. Checked in thru Yelp and wouldn't let me redeem the 5 free boneless after the fact I just paid for a big order. Oh well.

I have always wanted to try Wingstop. I am not one for restaurant chains, but who doesn't love wings? I was surprised just how clean Wingstop was and everyone there was nice and the wings came out real fast. It was an overall great experience and Wingstop is definitely a place I would go to again when I am craving some wings. I came into Wingstop early one Monday evening. I ordered the 6-Piece Wing with the Cajun seasoning, fries, ranch dipping sauce and a drink. The wings and fries came out promptly and they were hot. Temperature and seasoning. I did not expect cajun seasoning to have so much heat, but it was not overpowering. The wings were a bit small, but the chicken wings were moist and cajun spices were flavorful, but the ranch dipping sauce cooled the subtle fire in my mouth. The fries were great too. There were a lot them and they were doused in a cajun seasoning too. The overall meal was good and for the cost it was worth it too. Like I said before I don't do chain restaurants, but for Wingstop I would make an exception. Wingstop is an A-Ok place for quick and tasty wings.

We've had Wingstop from this location 3 times. Typically we order just the mild and we enjoy them. Last night we stopped in to order on their 60 cent wing special and we figured "Let's try some different flavors". I don't know why, but the flavors are really limited. Back in Florida the Wingstops offer 20+ flavors, but that's just a comment and I'm not taking off stars for that. We ordered the mild, hickory smoked BBQ, and Hawaiian. The order took way longer than it was supposed to, the service was lackluster, and the BBQ and Hawaiian wings were absolutely disgusting. They dumped the wings underneath the mild order so the sauces were mixing and it tasted awful. The Hawaiian (which is different from the Teriyaki) was just sour and salty. When you order a Hawaiian flavor anything you're expecting something light and fruity, sweet and instead this looked like something you left in the back of the fridge, gross. The BBQ had the same problem, it was supposed to be on the lower end of the hot range yet it was extremely spicy. It wasn't BBQ, Smoked, or Hickory tasting whatsoever. It tasted like a spicy and very slightly sweeter version of what the Hawaiian's tasted like. All in all, good deal but it's obvious you may be taking a risk if you order anything other than original or mild.

The portions are decent. The sauce is bland & way too heavy handed with the salt. WBW is still 100% better than this place!

I have always had a fond place in my heart for Wingstop. I still remember the first time my brother had me taste the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings. I was blown away and thought I would be a fan for life. Well, I hadn't had Wingstop in almost a year and a half, so I was craving them like crazy this past weekend. I had my husband pick me up a 10-piece, and I tore open that bag as soon as he set it down in front of me. That was my last moment of happiness because, soon after, I was filled with disgust. The paper trays of wings were filled halfway with greasy oil, and the wings themselves didn't taste fresh at all (even after my husband waited 30 minutes for what should have been freshly fried chicken wings). It was torture trying to finish just ten wings, so I had no problem throwing away three uneaten pieces. I'm sorry, but it took just this one experience to turn a fan into a boycotter. Never again, Wingstop. Never again.

OK Wings in a decent atmosphere... I love wings. My wife loves wings. My child will love wings. WIth that said, Wingstop is not usually my first choice. We snagged a Groupon earlier in the year and decided, why not?! The staff was very friendly and gave us no issues using the Groupon. The dining room was clean and had ESPN on 5 TVs...winning! We ordered 30 wings, carrots, celery, blue cheese dressing, and few sodas. While most of our wings were Original Hot, we did try a few Cajun and Louisiana Rub. Honestly, all three sauces were unique and quite good. With that said, the wings are just so tiny. One of our wings looked to have been taken by a disabled bird. Sauces good...wings eh.... Overall, an OK experience.

Definitely the fast food of wings, and I only use that term with regards to the quality of the wings. Regarding the other, more positive traits of fast food -- costs and speed -- this place is definitely lacking. Here's the breakdown! Cost- Nearly $11 for 10 wings and a drink -- crazy. I'd pay that at Hooters or BWW because the quality is there, but for Wingstop? Naw, that's about $2 too high. Speed- From the order time to receiving my wings, it took probably 10 minutes. Once again, it comes down to quality -- if they were hot and tasted fresh, then 10 minutes is NBD. But they weren't. Quality- And finally, the meat-and-potatoes. Wings were of adequate size, but I've had bigger (that's what she said!). Parmesan Garlic was NOTHING like what I expected (something more akin to BWW Parmesan Garlic). WS's version was deep fried wings that were lightly coated in a "garlic" butter and sprinkled with grated parm... I mean, yeah, it was techinically "Parmesan Garlic" but maybe they should rethink the receipe. As for "Hot," I must've gotten mild by mistake, because there was barely any heat whatsoever. And the sauce was strange ... a little too thin, and as someone had alluded to previously, was a little too vinegary. There are definitely better places to go to get your wing fix. Oh, and Paul, just because Wingstop is the #1 wing place in America doesn't mean this place meets the other Wingstop standards -- nice attempt at covering your ass though!

I actually had to ask for a refund and leave without any food, which I definitely never do because I love food. But after being yelled at by the cashier I just couldn't see paying $20 for my wrong order

Wing Stop failed to deliver on fulfilling my wing needs for this weekend. Ordering the garlic Parmesan was a mistake. The HOT wings were weak. I admittedly am a wing lightweight also. I don't understand the pool of grease in the container?? Gross. The only bright spot was the impulse buy of a couple of dinner rolls and veggies. A note for MGMT - Make your staff give out plastic bags for to go orders. Nobody wants their car to smell like garlic because the garlic grease mix leaked through a paper bag. I will not be back. BW3 is closer and better.

Wings were ok. But do NOT done in. No napkins, unclean bathrooms, and less than sanitary silverware arrangement.

I hate reviewing chain restaurants, but I Iove wingstop and I haven't had any problems with this location. Just get the cajun wings, side of ranch, fries, and side of cheese. I prefer them over buffalo wild wings.

It's been a great while since I last came here, and I'm extremely overdue in writing this. Anyway the rare times I'm in the mood for wings, I really enjoyed Wingstop the several times I've been here, and not to forget one visit to the Elmwood Park location. Not as much sauce variety as BW3, but the wings are bigger and meatier, and the (fewer) sauces they do have are just as decent as many of BW3's sauces. Their prices are slightly pricier than I think they should charge, but at least their wings are great quality, and makes me mostly forget about the price issue. The fries are excellent, too. Usually their 2 TVs are tuned to sports, and I can imagine this location gets very frequented by the Lane/Gordon crowd. Though luckily, I've always managed to pick times to come when they aren't around. I really do wish Wingstop had more Chicago locations, since it'd be nice to have a great wing place closer to my house. BW3 and Buffalo Joe's are just enough far away in Evanston and/or Rogers Park, that they aren't an option for me to go to. (this includes Buffalo Joe's Howard St. location) Le sigh, though it's a small start they do have a Wicker Park location on Milwaukee Ave....

MMM hmm mmm wings.!! I've tried wings from differents restaurants and let me tell you wingstop can't be compare. Yeah, it might be pricey but I don't mind since the quality IS there. :o) Customer Service - the young ladies are very nice and make you feel welcome. Food- Love their fries with honey mustard or ranch.Flavors to consider hot, cajun, hawaiian, and garlic parmesan. Atomic it's alright, stopped eating them for a while and now they're to spicy. In general Wingstop is awesome, I'm a loyal fan. ha.! :D

I love wingstop. I just don't love this location. It almost never fails that I have an issue here with not getting something I ordered. I never do dine in because I have an infant and baby and eating wings. Meh, not so much. I either place an order and go pick it up or my husband does. I will say 9 out of 10 times they don't get us the fries we paid for or skimp us on the bones we purchased or leave out the sauces we said to include. I always call and they tell me that their sorry and that I could come pick it up right then. Very convenient getting all the way home sitting down to eat and then having to go all the way back. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and got all the way home and no fries. I called spoke to the manager that not. He said he could offer me a 20% off my next order and that he would 'note my account'.. He didn't even offer to 'note in my account' that my next order I shouldn't pay for the fries. Since I didn't get them and PAID for them. I ordered today and went to pick up. I explained the situation and that they could look in my account to see the 20% off per the manager. They looked at me like I was crazy and looked in a book where that manager explained they logged all those issues. Surprise surprise. Wasn't in there. And after about 5 minutes of standing there he finally gave me the 20% off. I won't be back to this one anymore. Don't waste your time. Go to the one on Milwaukee.
