Want wings? Don't stop. Ordered here for the Super Bowl 4 days in advance. I showed up for order at the correct time and had to wait for 45 minutes! The Super Bowl is the busiest wing day of the year and they were not prepared. They were completely disorganized and keep telling people 10 more minutes. I will not be coming back.

I've tried Wingstop in a few states and never been disappointed. I ask for extra crispy and they prepare them with excellence each time. I do takeout primarily...only recommend celery sticks and blue cheese be added to the orders.

If it only was a review for the food, I'd easily give it more stars. However, there is a female employee here who ruins this place. She is rude and loudly complains about the job. I keep seeing management response on here, but it's clearly not doing much. This is not my first time here, with the exact same employees, and the exact same experience. FYI, the male employee is great and deserves a raise just for dealing with her.

Good wings and fries! Sauce flavors are what make it great. I recommend the atomic hot (for those who can handle heat), original and mango habanero sauces. And the seasoned fries were some of the best I've had...thick cut, not too soft, well seasoned. Yum! Try the gliders as well...just wings and pickles between two buns, simple yet filling.

Run by an incompetent group of surly stoners, the food is decent (hence the 3 stars). However, like others have said, the service is a harrowing experience to say the least.

I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by this place. And the customer service I had was great - very friendly, discussed my favorites, nice guys. Took a long time to make them, but that's b/c they were cooked to order. So next time I'll call ahead. Wings are more tasty than the vinagar-filled Buffalo Wild Wings' bar. I like 'em hot, and the hottest were a little too hot for me. Cajun is a good choice.

Wings are sub par. One notch up from frozen you can buy in the grocery store. Fairly cheap wings though. Open till midnight so maybe if i were drunk and wanted a snack? Wouldnt go again. On a plus note the staff were really friendly.

The way this place is run is just horrific. I ordered in here before on a weekday evening and thought it wasn't bad compared to most of the reviews here. After tonight I'll never order from here again. I called ahead on a Saturday night and was told it would be a 30min wait for pickup, very understandable. I show up in 30 mins and get told that their computers froze and I'll have to wait another 20... If you were able to take my order and then take my payment that means your system froze after my order, which shouldn't affect my order, right? After they refused to give me a discount or even a free drink (seriously...) they finally gave me my food 30mins later. While I sat there and waited I saw just 2 people prepping allllll of these orders. The wingstop that used to be in my old neighborhood would never have less than 5 people working on a busy night. I highly doubt they had as much traffic as this location gets. Changes need to be made if they want to survive.

I got a message from the manager to give wingstop another shot so I did. I wasn't actually expecting it to go smoothly or to talk to him but sure enough they called him and he knew who I was and what my issues was. He was very apologetic and courteous and he made sure my order was right this time around. So based on customer service alone (from a chain) I have to say I was shocked and impressed. They clearly care about their customers.

We were fine with the end product (got what we ordered) but disappointed this time around with the pre-order we placed for Super Bowl Sunday. Placed an order 5 days in advance for a 4pm pickup and waited for 35 minutes in the store along with quite a crowd who were waiting as well. Very surprised at this, as we ordered last year at the Western location, and the pre-orders had a separate pick up line, and everything ran smoothly and was ready to go upon arrival. Given the heavy business day, we were expecting them to be prepared. This location was clearly backed up, and we were confused when we saw customers coming in who placed same day orders an hour before and received their order before us and the many others who were waiting for 30-45 mins. past their pickup time. Totally get that it was a busy business day for them, and everyone is human, but it seemed very disorganized and hectic in the store, and hopefully things will go better for them next year. To boot, halfway through our waiting time, they announced one of the fryers broke, which didn't add to their timeliness. So, okay with the wings but disappointed in the service and no coupon or other way to rectify the wait situation for everyone.

I agree with a few reviews posted regarding food quality. I ordered via delivery on 11/22 and decided to try both the boneless and bone in versions. The wings were extremely small, soggy and lacked flavor. They really tasted like the frozen wings you microwave at home...in fact, they were worse!!! Go South on Clark a few blocks and try the little place @ Clark & Arlington called House of Wings. Just more proof that the big corporate chains never do it as well as the little guys!!!

My friend and I ordered: 15 wings: Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, and Mild 2 Gliders: Mild The freshly made wings were good. I'm a mild man myself and those were the best. I wouldn't order the lemon pepper again, they tasted like cleaning solution. The true start of the order were the gliders. delicious. I was impressed with the customer service as well.

Honestly got the smallest wings I've ever seen. There were many wings that were literally just bone and skin, would never order from here again.

WINGSTOP is tasty, timely, and a good price. I hate that all these people are bringing down WINGSTOP. It's a fast food chain specializing in wings! There isn't another food chain that does wings better. IT is the best for convenience and price. You want something spectacular, don't order from a food chain. I love Wingstop and this location is awesome. All the staff are always happy and friendly. If they are stoned, who cares. So are half the people ordering wingstop! The delivery drivers are awesome. Have you ever ridden a bike with a hot box on your back? Me either, but it looks cool and hard! WING STOP is tasty, timely, and at a good price. Cures a hangover better than B-12!

Wings took two hours to arrive (at which point they were cold) and they charged my credit card twice. People make mistakes, not a big deal, however, three weeks and multiple calls later I still have not had the second charge taken off. The manager says she needs to speak with her bosses and then forgets about it until I call back to remind her of our conversations. I never write Yelp reviews but feel the need to so that others can avoid dealing with this. Avoid.

After going to Buffalo Wild Wings my entire life to cater to my wing cravings, being introduced to Wingstop was a welcome change. I have been coming to this location for almost a year now, and have had a great experience every time. The staff is always friendly and we love to talk to them. The food sometimes takes a while to come out, but it is always good. I have never had an issue with quality here. I live for the ten dollar drink wings and fries combo. The value blows Buffalo Wild Wings out of the water. Also, the aesthetic of Wingstop is absolutely incredible. The old blown up photos of different world events, the rustic green and metal color scheme. All of it is brilliant. Great restaurant. Make sure to check it out if you are getting a bit tired of BWW.

My fiancé and I stopped in after work. We ordered 20 boneless wings with 4 different flavors and also an order of fries. They accidentally gave us lemon pepper instead of Serrano pepper. Lexi was very helpful in fixing everything and replaced the 5 wings for free. Great atmosphere and clean.

Usually find it useless to review a large chain like this, but the franchise owner (or manager?) was one of the nicest dudes ever. You can tell that carries down to all the other employees because the customer service was great. They were very attentive and even apologized for the long wait (it was like a 10 min wait, which i assume is the normal time needed for cooking wings) Wings are obviously decent, always comes out crispy and juicy. The size of wings here are a little smaller compared to the other wing chains, but the flavor and texture is worth it. Favorites are the Hot and Lemon Pepper! Typical Wingstop food, but the workers here definitely make the visit worth it!

I was given an incomplete order from this location and the person on the phone refused to send back the delivery driver to give me my ranch sauce. If you enjoy wings as much as I do this is a very necessary item to make a full meal possible. The person on the phone was also very rude and combative. She refused to let me speak to her manager and only offered a refund of 0.99 cents for the ranch. I explained this was not satisfactory and I would prefer my ranch sauce and she refused to do anything other than tell me that they delivery driver would not return and all I would get is 0.99 cents and *maybe* a call from someone the following morning. I was also put on hold for almost 10 min total while waiting for a response from them. This is not the first time I have had problems with this location but I can honestly say this will be the last time I order from Wing Stop and I will never recommend them to anyone again. In face after this experience I am much more inclined to discourage anyone from ordering from this location again.

Infuriating. Placed my order at 00:30. Was called at 01:15 whereupon the delivery man complained that he never heard of my street and I gave directions. He called again to complain at 01:40. Gave detailed directions again. Called WS and spoke with Megan who informed me that they hire an independent cycling delivery arrive and "it's not like I'm on the back of the bike with him." I called the cyclist delivery man six times he never answered. Was then told to call in the AM as the register was closed to obtain my refund. TWO FUCKING HOURS AND NO FOOD. WS shall no longer receive my custom.

The wings here are very meaty. I like the variety of ways chicken is cooked here, and the fact that they deliver. I was expecting a little more bang for the buck because the dishes are somewhat pricey, compared to similar places. Seating inside is very small, with just a few tables. I'll order again, but probably just take out.

Wonderful restaurant???? Not.... Order made for delivery at 9:00 pm 11/12/2014 online. Waiting for delivery 4 blocks away at 10:42 pm. Restaurant open till 12:00 am according to their site. Four calls made to restaurant between 9:40 pm and 10:40 pm. No answer. Call made to Wingstop on Western Ave and talked to manager asking to know if we could get a refund for order. Not owned by the same organization but manager was very nice. He explained that we were not the first customer calling this evening asking about orders not being delivered. First ever Yelp review provided. Only making this review due to actual anger for horrendous service. Its wings...we could have simply walked over and grabbed them. Will never order again or pickup food from a Wingstop. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE. I guess its ok to close early to go out for a social event? Great wings awful service.

Let me start off by saying I love wings and was so excited to order from here. I ordered online for pickup. The pick up time was 12:15. I go in there at 12:20. I stand and stand and wait and wait the people working there didn't even acknowledge me... Wtf?! Finally I say "hi there". Still they don't acknowledge my presence. Finally they talk to me I tell them I'm here for a pickup for Molly. They look at me like I'm insane. I say I placed an order online. They stare at me more. The manager is standing by the carry out area literally moving receipts around for deliveries, for which NO food at all was even ready. Anyway people in there were fucking pissed and had been waiting some for almost an hour for their food. At this point I know that wings are no where near my future. I wait. I ask the lady how long it's going to be. She says "5 min" but I can see in the kitchen there's no food ready. I know, she is lying. My boyfriend convinces me to stay. I stay for approximately twenty more minutes and finally my food is ready. Once we got the food it was honestly pretty good. The service and overall experience was just shitty. Good luck to anyone who orders for delivery - had I not gne in for a pickup I don't think we would've gotten our food for several hours, if at all.

I work in a nearby location and it's always a welcome pleasure to stop in and receive excellent service in a timely fashion. The food is always on point and reasonably priced (Esmerelda the manager does an awesome job!) and I recommend this location to anyone. Keith H.

Wanted hot wings so I found this place in the area. I read the reviews and saw they often get their orders wrong and it's true. I tried to combat this by ordering in person. Get back to my mom's house and what happened? Yep. Order is wrong. I walked back to the place and informed them of the mistake. The really interesting thing is as I was waiting to inform them of their mistake, the worker sounded as though she was on the phone with a customer with the same complaint. When she looked at the wrong food they gave me she said...."oh that's what happened"....it wasn't said directly to me more to herself. They did correct the order but did not offer anything except an apology for the error. I wasn't looking for free food but the offer to return my money for the inconvenience would have been nice and does show great customer service. The food was ok. I ordered the original hot which was not hot at all and I didn't enjoy the fries. Probably because they were cold by the time I got to them as they didn't offer me fresh fries. I won't be back. Not because of the ok food or the bad customer service but because they weren't the most sanitary. None of the workers were wearing gloves and one was touching the raw chicken with his bare hands. Afterwards I even saw him go out to the pop machine, press buttons for the drink and go back to the kitchen. I also saw that same worker take a tray and push garbage down with it....then take the tray further into the kitchen. It's enough to not make me order from their again. If all this happened in the 20-30 I was there....can't imagine what else is going on!

Just had wing stop for my second time. Really enjoyed the first time but this time I got wings that weren't cook through all the way. I hope I these are cooked twice so I don't get sick. Stronger regulations should be set for the quality of the food. I've noticed it's pretty dirty inside as well.

  • Jon K.

Ok, first, the good. The wings, when I do get them, and the order is right, are delicious. Some of the best I've had. That's about all the good I've got to say. I usually order through Grubhub. I order for myself and my housemates just about every weekend. A weekend doesn't go by that the delivery isn't totally messed up in one way or another. Sometimes the wings aren't cooked as requested (cooked hard, for one of my housemates, per the instructions that seem to get ignored every time). Sometimes they forget the drinks, or one of the wing orders, or the sides, or some combination of the above. For example, today (12/06/2014), my order clearly states an order of BBQ bone-in. I end up with an order of lemon pepper, and no drinks. What in the world am I supposed to do now? Wait another 1.5 hours for my dinner? Sure, they comp'd their mistake, the problem is, there's ALWAYS a mistake! Basic reading skills seem to be lacking. Wingstop, I love your food when it comes in right, I'm just getting tired of the Wingstop Food Lottery.

Lincoln Park Wingstop - I really wanted to like you. I've been here twice and unfortunately have not had the best experience. The wings are fine but the wait to get them is just not worth it. The first time I went, I ordered there and waited 20 minutes for my wings. Plus, many of the tables were dirty. Granted it was towards the end of the night but I still felt a little icky sitting there waiting for my food. The next time I went I thought why not pre-order and hopefully make it a better experience. I pre-ordered online with a pick-up time of 6:45 pm. I get to Wingstop at 6:45 pm pretty much on the dot. I was told it would be 5 minutes for my food. Not a big deal I initially thought but 15 minutes later and I still didn't have my food. Furthermore, I can hear one of the employees yelling at one of the other employees for taking a smoke break when there were people waiting for their food. There are a ton of other places with wings in Chicago and many nearby (Crisp, Del Seoul, Duke's, House of Wings) so I will be going to those other places instead.

I would rate WS 2.5 stars out of 5, but because you cannot do half ratings, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My boyfriend orders here about once a week. For the past month, I had ordered here too, but I think the wings are just AVERAGE. And if you think that Bdubs wings are average, these are below that. To me, the oil they use for frying tastes funny, and I think I've limited it to that, because when I've gotten wings with no sauce they had a different starchy taste. Overall the staff is somewhat friendly. About a month ago, my boyfriend and I placed a very large to-go order for both of us and some company we had over; about 1/3 of our order was incorrect. We were told we were refunded $17.01 to our account (for the incorrect order) which was a terrible and rude hassle to even get that. Just now when we tried to use our credit it "somehow" was only $11 worth of credit. I'm not going to mention any names, but I do understand this does not affect the quality of the food. However I still think the food is okay. Before the incident with the incorrect order I STILL thought their food was just okay. My boyfriend is not affected by the incorrect order incident and will still enjoy eating their wings, I on the other hand will not. I will tell you one thing, they slather on the sauce, which some like and some don't. Oh, and they are open late, so I guess it satisfies the drunk weekend crowd.

This place sucks, and having it delivered can only make it worse. It's like driving a new car off the lot, and as soon as you do, the value depreciates 30%. But when your restaurant has a composite, albeit undeserved 2.5 stars, it's hard for the quality to get much worse. I don't believe that having it delivered made it worse, as I think the quality is terrible no matter what. The wings were overcooked and shriveled up to the size of my thumb. They are literally tiny, like the kind of wings you might get at a dive bar 10-cent wing night, when there are higher quality wings on the menu at a regular price. Except at Wingstop, there is no higher quality. Here is the approximate summary of the ripoff (keep in mind the minimum order for delivery is $18): 10 terayaki wings - $9 10 original hot wings combo w/ coleslaw and can of pop - $11 Delivery fee - $5 (does not go to delivery man) Tip - $3 (I gave the guy a standard 15% while he beat the ESTIMATED ONE-AND-A-HALF-HOUR delivery time by about 45 minutes. Granted, it was on the Thursday evening of the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 - March 27, 2014. I was informed of the estimated delivery time at the very end of the phone call immediately before the person taking the order hung up the phone.) TOTAL - $28 Anyway you look at it, this was a terrible mistake. I wish I could agree with the previous reviewer Tom B about House of Wings, but I tried calling there three times with no answer. Maybe it was just the busy sports evening and a high volume of orders. Who knows, but either way, I made the Wingstop mistake, and I will not make it again.

I love chicken wings. I don't love these chicken wings. However, you might. There are lots of choices so it maybe worth going back and trying a different style. The first time I went i had the boneless wings. Too salty and too bready for my taste. I went back and had unbreaded wings and they were much better for my taste. Also until you find a sauce you like, have it on the side. Once you find the one you like then have them lather it up. Do call ahead or prepare to wait. They cook your order upon you request and that could be 20 to 30 minutes.

  • Rachel H.

I have to first say that I absolutely love the food at Wingstop. It's a bit of an addiction of mine. But seriously, the service sucks. First, I ordered through their online ordering on Wingstop.com and when I received my confirmation email, it gave me a time of delivery of 20 minutes later. I didn't think it would be that quick, but I also didn't think it was going to take TWO hours to receive my food! I took a nap in the time that it took to get my food and I even had to call to make sure they had my order. However, being a lover of the wings, I placed another delivery order tonight. It was close to the time delivery was ending, but my order was still sent through. Almost 25 minutes later, I received a phone call from Wingstop where an associate was quite rude. She stated, "I just got your order and, um, our delivery is closed now Ya know." I told her that I placed the order before the end of the time and if it wasn't able to happen, the online should have rejected it. She said, "So what do you want me to do about this? Do you still want your order?" I, of course, stated that I would since I ordered it in the first place. She then pulled away from the phone and started talking about how I still want them to go deliver my food and I hear all of the people there arguing and trying to "pass the buck" so to speak. She then comes back on the phone and says, "well, I mean it's going to be another hour and were about to close in a min. So what do you want to do?" At this point, I'm frustrated because I'm not really being given an option and told her that I clearly was inconveniencing them even though I placed my order in time. She was like, "um, well I can refund you." Of course you will, since you clearly have given me no option to get my food! I said, "yes, refund me my money since you clearly aren't willing to give me my food." She said, "okay then..." And hung up the phone. My issue wasn't with the fact that the delivery closed. It was how she handled the situation. I am a member of management in the customer service industry and know that if an associate of mine talked that way to a customer, they would be written up. Customers are not supposed to feel like they are inconveniencing associates. That is their job. Wingstop may need to reevaluate their delivery procedure, the speed in which the orders reach the store after it is placed, and most of all, their business's approach to customers.

I happened upon this place as a second choice but I will definately make special trips back to it . Very cordial and informative staff . Clean space . Great food ! I was curious about their potato salad so they offered me a sample and I loved it . I tried a 6 wing combo (which included a side of that potato salad among other sides ) with 3 dry-rubbed Louisiana style wings and 3 garlic parmesan wings along with a fountain drink . Amazing ! All of it amazing and they have lots of items that I must go back to try . I highly recommend this place for a tasty casual meal at a good price .

Not bad, Not great. The sauces make the wings and they have really good fries. I wouldn't say go to wing stop expecting something the Gods would eat, but it can be good if you don't get takeout because by the time you get home they will be soggy and flavorless. If you can eat them there. The customer service at this location is good so that added a star.

I've been to the Wingstop on North Ave plenty of times, so when I saw that there was one closer, and that offered delivery I was pretty impressed. Prior to submitting my order I saw that the expected delivery time is a hour, hour and a half. I ordered a family size order, 30 mixed wings, fries, celery, and 3 ranch dressings. My delivery made it in the prescribed time, about an hour and a half. The french fries were barely warm and soggy, the wings were a decent temperature, but instead of having mixed wings (bone-in and boneless) I had all bone-in, no celery, and no dressing. I called back for the rest of my order but it was still another 30-45 minutes until I received the celery and dressing. I generally enjoy Wingstop but this was my worst experience so far. I'm not sure if it's the restaurant or just the delivery service but I would suggest take-out or dine in.

Disappointing. We ordered hot and teriyaki boneless and fries. The food smelled delicious and we were excited until we had our first few bites. The wings were soggy and the flavor was lacking. We continued to give them a shot but eventually we had to stop eating because they just weren't good. We could have made better wings ourself at home.

Great wings. All flavors are good to awesome. My favorites being Atomic, Cajun and Louisiana Rub. Fries are good too. Nobody in this area comes remotely close to offering wings as good as these. So happy they finally opened!

Tiny wings, no sauce flavor was subpar. Ordered 50 for 3 guys and had to order more food after. Not worth a try

great service, food cooked after you order. the wings were a decent price. i didn't like the salt or whatever they put on the fries - it was too much.

  • Alison H.

The food is decent here probably about a 4. Wings are above average, fries are good (though seasoned a little weird), and the rolls are tasty. The reason for the 2 stars is the horrible customer service we have had twice. The first time, we ordered for delivery... We ordered at 6 hoping to get food for a 7 pm kickoff for a small football gathering... I think it was 75 wings with a bunch of sides (fries, rolls, veggie sticks, ranch, etc). After calling about 6 different times over the course of 2 hours we only ended up with wings at halftime of the game. No sides or dip. The driver never came back with the rest of our order. We finally end up getting half of our money back, which sucked, but at least we didn't die of starvation and didn't have to pay for the food we didn't get. The second time we tried this place, we placed our small order online at about 7:15 pm and request pickup ASAP. The email confirmation said it would be about 30 minutes. So we stroll down the street at 7:45 and they said they just got our order and it wouldn't be done for an hour. I asked how this was possible (wings do not take 1.5 hours to prepare) and he said because we didn't place our order until 8:15... Umm, how could we have placed the order IN THE FUTURE?!? The first employee was extremely rude and started yelling at me about how it was my fault, finally the manager stepped in and was nice and put a rush on it and had the order ready in about 20 minutes. Though he never really apologized, nor did he offered us a discount for that order, not even a free drink or a discount for a future order. Needless to say, I doubt we will be dining here again in the future unless we dine in or place the order immediately in the shop and wait for it to be ready...

Rude customer service. Soggy wings. Will not be returning. Save yourself the time and money; there are plenty other good places for wings in the neighborhood.

I moved right around the corner a few weeks ago and came here one night with a friend. We both got the boneless wing combo. The fries were actually pretty decent but the wings really small (more like seasoned popcorn chicken). I wouldn't recommend this place :(
