I was walking by here on a Saturday night with one of my girlfriends when the door main said "hey free 1st drink for ladies". My friend and I hesitated at first, but we went back in for a drink. We ended up drinking a lot and staying close to their closing time! Bartenders are SUPER nice. However, it was pretty dead for a Saturday night not more than 15-20 people in the huge bar. The DJ wouldn't play our requests for some reason. The bar was literally dead and it was making up excuses for not playing are songs. I must say I have pretty good taste in music, nothing the bar wouldn't enjoy. I would come early for a couple drinks, but not spend my entire night here. It may be better for a happy hour or weekday!

I went to Trophy Room last night for the Blackhawks game and reserved their Skybox semi-private area for a group of 20+ friends. Natasha was a pleasure to work with, and she was very patient with me - I tend to ask a lot of questions, haha. She is a true professional, and I hope I get the chance to work with her again on planning a party! Our server, Clare, was a rockstar. Last night was Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and the place was absolutely slammed, but she did an excellent job of keeping her composure even though it was a stressful situation! I appreciate that she took the time to do separate checks for us - I feel like many places won't do this with larger parties. Trophy Room is a really great place to catch a game, and I look forward to celebrating more wins there in the future. :)

Went to Trophy Room last night for game 6 and had a blast! We were in the sky box area and couldn't have asked for a better environment for watching our Hawks win. Clare was our server and mam she deserved a medal. She single handedly took care of our group of 25+, separating checks and everything. Very sweet girl and she worked hard to keep us happy and excited! I would definitely come to Trophy Room again for an event or just a fun night out!

Came here for Restaurant Week with my cutie who never makes me moody. Everyone was super friendly to us and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The fact that we were the only ones in the place could be the reason why we received the royal treatment, but I won't complain. For our meal we had *Mozzarella Fritta (mozzarella sticks) were cheesy gooeyness and I loved every second of eating these bad boys. *Bruschetta was good, but nothing outside of the normal run of the mill bruschetta. *Peppered Egg Pizza was definitely would have knocked my wig off...if I wore a wig that is. Flavorful and deliciousness packed in each bite. *Beer Batter Brownie was the perfect way to end the meal. The better was cooked just right so you could taste the chocolate richness as it mixed with the marshmallow fluff. I just wish we would have added the gelato. I really enjoyed my dining experience at Trophy Room and want to go back, but after seeing the lack of crowd there when we went I'm afraid this place won't be around for long. If you are reading this review I recommend you give Trophy Room a try.

It was my turn to choose a spot for our monthly gal pal dinner. It happened to be the first day of Restaurant Week, so I started with their line-up to browse for a spot. The Trophy Room caught my eye for a couple reasons: 1) I noticed on Yelp that they were a hot new biz and had only been open for 2 months (love checking out new local biz!) 2) The restaurant week pre-fix menu was only $33 for two people and included an app, entree and dessert to be shared. I thought this would go over well with a group of 10. I made a reservation for a Friday night at 7 and our table was all ready to go when we arrived. Service was pretty slow, but looking back it could have been partly our fault. Trying to get a group of 10 women to stop chatting, look at the menu and order is no simple task. We found out that there was the option to order off their regular menu in addition to the restaurant week menu. While some ladies were pleased about this, it ended up making things quite difficult come time to pay the bill. We started with cocktails, of course. I usually b-line for something simple like a glass of wine or a vodka tonic, but being a first time customer at Trophy Room I decided to dip into their cocktail selection. After my waitress suggested some options, I ordered their version of an old fashion (Da Old Fashioned). My friend and I ended up being the only ones in our group to order from the pre-fix menu. We split the bruschetta, spicy salami pizza and beer battered brownie. My indulgences played out as follows: Da Old Fashioned -- I'm a fan! To be honest, I've never had an old fashion before, but this was strong and yummy. I felt super distinguished drinking it. It consisted of Bulleit bourbon, house-made cinnamon and vanilla syrup, cherry bark vanilla bitters, mint and basil infused cherry, lemon, orange peel, and a glacier ice cube. YEAH. THAT. JUST HAPPENED. Side note: I continued ordering old fashions at a couple other establishments that night and they were nowhere as good as the Trophy Room's Bruschetta -- Roasted garlic crostini, tomato, basil & parmesan. They looked very pretty, but not my fave. To be honest they were too chilled. It was surprising to bite into something so cold. Spicy Salami Pizza -- Calabrese salame, mozzarella, sport peppers, and red sauce made with san marzano tomato, garlic, basicl, and olive oil. This was very tasty! But be prepared - it's REALLY spicy. I honestly only had 2 pieces and ended up picking off the peppers because I couldn't handle it (whoops!). Next time I would definitely order it without the peppers. Beer Battered Brownie -- Ghirardelli double chocolate brownie (enough said), Finch's Secret Stache Stout, marshmallow fluff, salted carmel, and toasted almond served in a cast iron skillet AMAZING. I've had a cookie in a skillet, but never something this inventive and delicious. I'm not a huge fan of marshmallow though, so next time I would substitute that for a scoop of vanilla gelato ($3). CONCLUSION: They still have a few kinks to work out, but I like what they've got goin on. Love the vibe in the restaurant - it's chill and affordable but still seems slightly upscale. Plenty of TVs, high tops, and large booths to hang with friends or enjoy some sports. Their cocktails and dessert alone are honestly enough to have me comin' back for more!

I was meeting a friend for happy hour and I thought the address looked familiar. This spot use to be the sports bar District. It's been empty for awhile so I was excited to see whatever changes have been made when I walked in. Well... that excitement didn't last long. Lol absolutely nothing change. It looks like it was bought as is with no updates. That's not a problem though since it looks like there going for the same vibe. Sports bar with lots of tvs. We went this pass Friday and it def wasn't pack. The doorman was very friendly and let us pick where we wanted to sit. I usually get a table but this time we opted for the bar. The bar tender was cute and was very attentive in helping us make our food selections. We went with the Quattro Formaggi pizza, which was just okay but I was hungry! Lol. We ask him if we should get the cookie or the brownie. He said cookie but once we received it we wish we went with the brownie. It was a tiny boring looking cookie with a boring scoop of vanilla icecream to top it. No bells and whistles and def something I could do myself. Overall service was great... Food was just okay... And place definitely still looks the same. I was also thrown off by the elderly crowd, but maybe it's just the time (5:30) and day (Friday) we went? Lol

Not great. Might be good for a drunken loud sports night, but not for a normal night when you just want good food and friends. The music is too loud and the food leaves to be desired. I'd avoid unless you have nowhere else to go or are not from Chicago and want to watch sports.

Sadly the Bulls lost game 6 the night of my visit but that's not what I'm here to talk about lol I was immediately taken aback by the size (that's what she said) of this place. Super huge and open which won me over instantly. My friend made a reservation, I was the first to arrive and was allowed to sit anyway. I had the whiskey based NBA Jam 2 cocktail, which was very tasty. I also had the Italian beef sandwich which was almost as good as my usual hood spot on the north side, definitely a contender. Our first server was very nice but she ended up being so swamped that the hostess took over. She was equally as personable and we ended up feeling like VIPs after both ladies were taking care of us toward the end of the night. I will definitely be back here on my future visits to Chicago and I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a casual spot with a nice crowd.

Meh. This is a standard sports bar with extremely friendly staff. Don't come here expecting great cocktails and food. Come here and stick with a vodka/soda or beer and eat somewhere else. Wings were cold and not very tasty. Meatballs were extremely bland and undersalted. Cocktails were just plain old gross. Best part of our experience was how accommodating and friendly the staff was, considering how packed it was.

Here is the scoop: STAFF: Friendly. Attractive. Accommodating. FOOD: They have a variety of options. The only dish I had is the pizza. I had every pizza with every topping and all of them are delicious! The beer nuggets went well with my drinks. I have not tried any other dish but I'm sure it will be just as delicious as the pizza!! Wood Burning Oven is what makes it so good in my opinion. Ambiance: It is a sports bar. Nice low lighting. Plenty of seats available and every seat in the house you have a great view of the TV. They play all the hottest games available with sound. Overall: This place is GREAT for company parties or happy hours!! Priced fairly for location the food will not disappoint, the drinks are poured with love and you can pretty much just go and have a good time. Parking is a challenge I would recommend cab or drop off. The staff is super nice. I would recommend date night or boys night out.

We came into Trophy Room for a company Fantasy Football draft. They were a little disorganized when we got there, but eventually got us set up in a semi-private back room that ended up being the perfect space for us. Our service was excellent until the restaurant got a little busy and it became pretty apparent that they were very low-staffed. The saving grace and the reason I'll give it 4 stars are the specials and the really great manager who was super helpful in getting us set up (can't remember his name. Tequila) They had great specials for a group of co-workers on a budget. We went on a Wednesday and they had $5 apps (solid!) and $3 bottles of Lagunitas which made us all very happy. They had other cocktail specials as well. Will be returning, probably to watch a sporting event, as it's a great space for that with a ton of TVs. I also want to try their wood-oven pizzas, which looked super tasty.

Stopped in for a beer last night while waiting for an Uber. The bartender was really rude to me, gave me a dirty look, and when I came back from the bathroom my beer was gone. Didn't even offer to replace it. Nice sports bar and concept, but I don't deserve to be treated that way. Service needs work. It makes me mad just thinking about it.

My friends and I had a great time at Trophy Room for this past Hawks game. We called ahead and were seated in a large comfy booth, there was plenty of TVs and we could easily watch the game from numerous angles. The food the was delicious and reasonably priced, Eddie did a great job making sure we were taken care of and that our food was hot, fresh, and ready for our arrival. Our waitress was also very pleasant, the service was attentive and quick, even with a packed bar. I will definitely be coming back soon!!

I went here last week with a group of my friends for the blackhawks game. Great seating, yummy food (their italian beef pizza is fire), and awesome service. So many TVs, that any seat in the house will do. The place was packed for the game but our server continually made sure to check up on us and get us what we needed. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a couple drinks and dinner to hosting a party or looking for a spot to watch a game.

We came here to watch the 2nd half of the football games on Sunday. We walked up to the hostess stand and actually greeted the hostesses, "Hi, how are you?" One didn't say anything, and the other bluntly said, "bar or table?" We were there for drinks so we just went to one of the bars. But I do find interesting that the people who are hired to greet guests, be friendly etc. were socially awkward. I blame smartphones and ipods - younger generations always are on their phones or listening to music so they lack interpersonal skills. Anyway, Trophy Room is clean-cut and spacious and there are a lot of TV's. Great beer and pizza list. FYI, the oven isn't a "hearth" oven but a gas-fired stainless steel oven. We didn't eat but the pizzas look delicious. Our bartender was sweet and attentive. FYI, the specialty cocktails are tiny.

This was my first visit to Trophy Room and it was PACKED! Game 7 of blackhawks semi-finals and SRO! We got there before the game started and were able to score a table but the place filled up quickly after we got there. It's a great spot to watch a game--not a bad seat in the house for the TV screens. Our server Sabrina was awesome! She was friendly, and despite the crowds to maneuver around, never lost her smile! Super attentive too--we never had to flag her down! We had the italian beef pizza--really good! The wings were just so-so--very mild. The bathrooms were really clean too which to me is always an indication of a well run place! The only downside is parking--and there is no valet. Best to walk or cab there. But I highly recommend Trophy Room if u want a great place to watch sports!

Love this place! Live around the corner and go all the time. Awesome pizza and food. Super friendly staff. A ton of tvs, foosball, air hockey. Eddie and Dennis the owners are the nicest guys.

Upscale Sports Bar with great food and extremely friendly staff. The Prosciutto pizza and the Beer Nuggets were delish. A nice guilty pleasure! Great selection of beers on tap to wash it all down. Perfect spot to watch a game or UFC event. I used to go here when it was District and it left a hole in the neighborhood when they closed. This is an improvement for sure. The new owners did a great job remodeling the place with upscale finishes and packed it with a lot of big high quality TV's. All in all a great experience and a great value that I will be coming back to often.

It sucked. Our waitress literally disappeared after like 8:30pm -- we were sitting without a drink for at least 30 minutes, couldn't hear the TV volume where we were seated -- I requested seating particularly for the Bulls game, and we weren't informed about the A/C being broken like a legitimate establishment would do for patrons who made reservations -- desperation move. Pathetic. Don't come here.

Great food, I saw may waitress twice in 1 hour intervals after she was supposedly talked to by the chef. Needless to say the service was terrible. Sit at the bar for guaranteed presence of service.

Great new spot! The space itself is really cool - tall ceilings, tons of tvs, cool decor. Their pizza was pretty good and the service was great . Nice to have a place to go out for a casual weekday dinner in river north without breaking the bank and settling for subpar food.

We are actually at this bar tonite. We specifically came to watch the UFC fight that they said they were going to have. They have the fight on in one TV in a corner and it will be impossible for us to watch it from were we are. We ask 3 people to put one TV that we can see and they refuse. It is too late for us to go somewhere else. My advice will be: make sure you go to a place where you are not going to have this problem if you really want to watch a fight... We will not be coming back for sure. The food was good and the waitress was nice. Towards the end of the night they finally put the fight. I think it was too much aggravation... We went to have fun not to argue with people.

EXCELLENT food and perfect atmosphere for gameday. Pizza is one of the best I've had in a long time, had the garden pizza with roasted artichoke, spinach, and goat cheese. 10/10. Nice to see a new gourmet fired pizza place in the city! Trophy Room had a huge menu of local craft beer and a great signature cocktail menu as well. I had a cider beer with Captain Morgan, lemon, and cinnamon - was so good. Staff is also top notch. Best part for me is there is finally a good Chicago NIU bar!!!!! A new regular spot for sure!! A++

Open floor plan, lots of tables, craft beer and domestics available, nice waitresses, solid pizza for $10-15 which feeds 2. For a low frills, upscale feel, moderate prices for River North this is a solid 4 star. Oh yeah, plenty of TVs. We went when it was dead, curious to see what it's like on a game day or weekend night. This place seems good for big groups.

Came here as part of restaurant week, things were good, not great. Standard cheese sticks, cracked egg pizza was unique, beer selection solid. Waiting on dessert!

Service was poor. Food was mediocre at best. I got the surf and turf white sauce pizza. The white sauce tastes as if it was right out of the can. I ordered a Red Margarita apparently there was no sour mix in my margarita. Overall it was basic. I give it a 3/10

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Come here if you like the scene but don't want to deal with the overcrowding the river north crowd brings with it.

Perfect place to watch football in river north. A bit overpriced but what isnt in the area? Tons of tvs. Didnt try the food, but some of the pizzas on the menu sounded amazing. Can't wait to try them. Had the special mule xocktail, highly recommend. I hope they eventually have drink specials, but unfortunately they didnt on this friday night after just being open a week. Will definitely be back as we live only a block away. Hoping to now root for the bears to lose at this new hot spot so that we get a higher draft pick. Fire trestman :)

First time here but frequent the area a lot. Trophy Room is the perfect balance of a relaxing night out but still feel like you are having a night out. Great music, plenty of TVs for games (for my hubby), and good cocktails! Definitely recommend!

I seldom give a bar five stars but this place is the exception.... And it is sooo because the bartender Ryan was beyond a doubt exceptional at representing this place. I thought he was the owner. He was so professional and he made it so easy for us to get situated. Infact it was so crowded but he still managed to find us in the crowd all the way from the bar and give us personalized service. Ryan is a steal... Five stars to him and five stars to trophy room because of him...

The place has only been open for a couple of months, and the one time we stopped in, they were pretty empty for a Friday night. We got a couple of drinks, the Angry Bird Pizza and the cookie skillet for dessert. The cocktails were nothing great, but I thought the pizza was really good. It had a very nice crust that wasn't dry and the toppings on the Angry Bird were good. The cookie skillet was okay, but nothing I would really order again. To me - the shining star of the place was the pizza and I would come back for that alone.
