Veggie sandwich no onions = onions lettuce and tomato :( Does anyone have a suggestion on where to go other than here or nasty nasty McD's?

I am writing about the store at the top of the H concourse at OHare. The one near gate about H4. Next to the Harley store. I'be been here quite a bit and lately there has been a woman there who says your coffee costs $3.09 and it's actually $2.09. When you call her on it she tells you she actually said $2.09 but she didn't. Don't fall for this!! Coffee is $1.80 something and tax and that doesn't equal $3.09. I wrote to thier customer service department and never heard anything back from them. Not good

I've been utilizing this place for egg & cheese bagel sandwiches mostly because the McDonald's and Quiznos across terminal B (near gates B11-14) have long lines at mealtimes and I can't bring myself to eat @ McDonald's. I like the variety of bagels which are fresh and tasty and they have a few "super" bagels like Asiago that are particularly good. I have had 3 there in the last couple of months and been satisfied though I'd like the cheese more melty. It is overpriced compared to McD's at about $5 for the egg & cheese sandwich. (extra for fancy bagel or meat). The drinks are also heartily overpriced but that's typical for airport dining. Long story short if you want a good, quick egg & cheese sandwich on a bagel without a long wait on line, and want to avoid the chains, this place is the only game in town. They also have another register with fast-pickup stuff like drinks and muffins in front.

Like many of the other reviewers, I was looking for a quick bite to eat during a layover at O'Hare. We all know how I already feel about this airport, but that's another story for another day. Here is the breakdown of food in that general vicinity: McDonald's (no thanks) and Great American Bagel (seemed like a safe/healthy choice). My decision was made. I looked at the menu and spotted a veggie sandwich. Bingo! I'd just ask them to replace the cheese with vegetable cream cheese and I'd be all set! Or so I thought.... The server didn't quite understand the simple task of substituting cream cheese in for cheddar. Strange. I didn't really think it was a hard concept. Maybe it was because I gave him too many things to remember. After I explained my order a few more times, he caught on and spat out that it was going to cost me an extra dollar. OK, fine. I don't really think it should, but whatever. I wasn't going to push my luck with this dude. What's an extra $1 anyways? I walk up to the register and shock ensued. Excuse me, did I hear $10 for a friggin' bagel with cream cheese, lettuce and tomato thrown on it? I get it. I'm in an airport. But a ten-spot for an under par bagel sandwich with no meat and hardly any veggies? I'm from Cleveland, land of the properly-made Bialy's Bagel that cost hardly anything. On top of that, I'm Jewish. Take your overly priced, improperly made bagel-ish wad of dough and shove it. Just a side note: This was for just a bagel. No drink. No chips. I also asked for no onion, and alas! I found onions on board my dang sandwich! Rawr...

After having my initial flight delayed for over an hour, I headed over to board the new plane. However at this point I was starting to get hungry. I was actually famished at this point. I looked around, knowing I was going to be boarding in about 15 minutes or less I needed something quick. Also knowing I needed something healthy since I knew my destination was going to be hella unhealthy, I wanted something simple and not too bad on my waistline. I found this place. I was able to get some veggies with ranch on the side, a banana, a cookie, (okay... so my blood sugar needed some spiking help). Perfect. It was a little pricey, but hey, it wasn't McDonalds and it was in the actual O'Hare Airport, so of course they are going to jack up the prices. However, it also saved me from gnawing a leg off of me or my seat neighbor next to me... which I am sure he appreciated too...

I didn't have much time before my flight and wanted something 'healthy' instead of McDonald's so I tried this place. I had a turkey sandwich on a white roll. I asked for no mustard and light mayo and I actually got no mayo and light mustard. I also asked for cheddar cheese and got swiss. The roll was hard and the sandwich was not very tasty overall. It was also $8, way over priced for just a sandwich but then it was O'Hare....

While waiting for my plane to leave I stopped here to grab some breakfast. I had a toasted bagel with ham, egg, and cheese and it was not good. The cheese and ham were still cold even after they put it in the little oven and the coffee...just not caribou coffee.
