This place is conveniently open late, but that is the lone redeeming aspect of it. All the discomfort of having to finish an incredibly bad slice of homemade pizza...made by your Irish friend's Mom.

So this pizza was okay I guess when it arrived, meaning it was edible and I was hungry. And I am happy we had a coupon as well, since there wasn't a ton of flavoring or spices packed in this food....Not really sure why? I feel like it is hard to mess up melted cheese and carbs, but when you aren't excited to eat the leftovers--and day old pizza I actually find one of the most amazing things in life!! so versatile for any meal!!--you realize a place can't be that good. We got a cheese pizza and a sausage and pepper pizza and then an appetizer combo. The pizzas were just bland, but I did appreciate that they were cut into square style slices--always makes it more fun. And the appetizer combo? Well the garlic bread wasn't really garlic like, the mozzarella sticks were probably the best part, and the chicken tenders didn't taste the best either. Delivery took about an hour, but the pizza did arrive hot and all that. Just where was the flavor and fun? I had high hopes...

Great pizza , the hubby and I love the stuffed cheese pizza! However, I ordered from Grubhub, and have no problem tipping but when the delivery guy asks, "Would you like to leave a tip?" I consider that unprofessional and downright crass. Is that apart of the job description???

If I could give this place a 0, I would!!!! Do NOT BOTHER EATING AT THIS HELLHOLE! The food is okay, but the service is whack as HELL. I honestly think 2 of the girls who work there are racist as well as their contractor. I have sat down, watched, and experienced how they treated me and others versus "others". I am one of the first people who hate to say someone is a racist as I try to give people the benefit of the doubt aaaaall the time and try to see good in them, but at the same time, I am far from naïve when it comes to that. Furthermore, on Monday, March 23rd, I opened the door to order food and was immediately yelled at and cursed out by a contractor who was inside painting. I was talked to soooo inappropriately as if I had rudely said something, stepped a whole foot in the door, or made him spill his paint. Hence, he was nowhere near the reach of the door. In the middle of me opening the door and trying to quickly ask a question, the guy quickly hopped off of his ladder and shoved the door closed on me. I swear, if I did not know any better, I would have hit him with a quick combo and popped out the stun gun on him, because I IMMEDIATELY felt threatened by him from the way he approached me for just simply opening the door. If they were closed for "maintenance", why not LOCK THE DAMN DOOR ASSHOLE (and that's the nicest name I can come up with for him)!!!!!! The hell is wrong with y'all??????!

Ask for a slice and they give you two. Its a pleasant surprise. However, they recently increased their prices. For thin crust pizza, the pizza is pretty average. They do not have the unique toppings Big G's down the street carries. I have not had anything else on the menu and my rating may change after eating more.

Ive been going to this establishment for 4 years now. The slices are big and are always fresh. Had the fried ravioli today very tasty. The raviolis are not delicate at all, very sturdy pieces soaking in marinara sauce. Yum!

forgot my ranch for wings thanks.. and the bread for my sandwich was so hard you can use it for a hammer.

Fast and friendly. Had a decent hot dog and my son had pizza. Definitely will be backl

I really don't know what's so great about the pizza at this place. You pay just under $5 for one fourth of a pizza that tastes like high school cafeteria pizza. It is so oily that if you place a paper towel on top of the pizza, it will be soaked with oil (all Pizzas are oily... but not to this extent). Papa Johns is right across the street and you can get a large pizza for $8. The service is really nice though, the owner is very cool/laid back too. He gives you discounts when they are about to close so he doesn't have to toss the pizza. There are others who do like the pizza, but seeing how this place has 3/5 stars on yelp, it's average overall. My favorite thing about this place is when they gave out free Pizzas at the beginning of my freshmen year (2010). Other than that, I only got it when I had no other choice.

I really wanted to hate this place, and I pretty much did. Oh oh, see what I did there? Seriously though, Taylor Made has a thing for overloading homes with menus to the point that I almost didn't want to try them because I was sick of them before even ordering from there. I need to be on their payroll because I'm sure that person is making bank with as often as they're out there distributing said menus, especially since they always end up in the recycling anyhow. Must be nice to be able to throw away money like that. I should have made an executive decision and ordered Phil's, but I was kind of curious and one of their coupons included mozzarella sticks for free, so Taylor Made it was. Bad. Bad bad bad. You know how I know it was bad? I was drunk and still coherent enough to complain. Little known fact (that is somehow mentioned in many reviews), almost all food is created equal in my drunk eyes and therefore by default, is delicious. The cheese wasn't dark enough (in fact the whole pizza seemed undercooked), the sauce was really sweet, the crust was doughy and bland and the ingredients were minimal. C'mon, this isn't NY! We're better than that. I actually forgot we ordered giardiniera on it until many bites later when I heard a crunch. Even still, most pizza that isn't so good hot is at least decent cold, right? No, apparently not. I had a piece for breakfast 2 days later and it was awful. Oh, and those mozzarella sticks that are normally $5? Pass. Tasted and looked exactly like frozen ones from the store. Phil's is still my go-to pizza in the area, even if I'll never live a Phil's pizza related incident down. I'm sure I'll give Taylor Made another shot at some point, but not for quite awhile.

So after Taylor Made has been leaving menus rubber banded to my gate like every damn week since moving to the area, I finally decided to give them a try. I'm getting tired of throwing their menus away. All I need is one menu, you dopes. And what do they give me attached to my pizza box when it arrived? Another menu. Argh! Calling their pizza average would be generous. The crust is NOT crispy, and tastes like that boxed pizza crust mix you can get at the store. They seem to gyp you on ingredients too. If I were to order from here again, I'd definitely ask them to cook my pizza longer so that the crust tastes like crust instead of doughy bread. "If" being the operative word. I pretty much would rather order from Roasti's or Bacci. I've been hoping to find a good pizza joint in this area (besides Phil's). But this place just ain't it.

Great find, fast service, friendly staff, a wonderful pizza! Definitely need to remember and return.

Seriously, where was this place when I went to college around here? Just under $5 for a slice (which was essentially two slices because of how big it was... they literally cut the pizza slice in half to make it manageable) and a pop/drink. This would have been a staple in my college haydays. The quality is okay, and if you're looking for some easy pizza to down, fits the bill. Verdict: No longer a student, I probably won't come back unless I"m looking for a quick/cheap bite. Yes, I'm still that cheap. It's good to be frugal.

    (3)
  • Clint B.

This is a small dive pizza place with the best deal around. For under $5 you can get two slices and even a drink.

    (4)
  • Eric G.

Not the best pizza place in Chicago. I Find menus all over the street and all over Little Italy its definitely annoying. The pizza is less than par, better at 2am lol. They need to change the sauce.

The food is good but the girl at the cashier is extremely unfriendly. This is my third time coming to Taylors Made Pizza and she's always been unfriendly to me.

Bad, bad, bad. All bad. Ordered through Grubhub the other night, and after an hour and a half, I called the restaurant to check on my order. The first girl I spoke with was friendly enough, and told me that my food had left the restaurant 10 minutes earlier. Ok.... Well considering I live around 8 blocks away, I was mildly concerned that my driver was hopelessly lost. I decided to hang up the phone and see what would happen. After Another 20 minutes, still no pizza. I called back and spoke with the most flippant and rude server/hostess I've ever had the displeasure of conversing with. I told her my concerns about my meal being AWOL, and she told me that it had only been an hour and fifteen minutes. I was placing this call at 9:49, and my order was put in at 8:09. She then, in the most condescending tone, informed me that the restaurant doesn't always get the grubhub orders at the time they are placed, and that my order wasn't received until 9:15. I work in a place that utilizes grubhub. You get the faxes immediately. That's a major issue if you aren't, and someone should look into that. I pointed out the fact that another (nicer) girl previously told me my food had left the building. She then proceeded to tell me that it was the weathers fault. I incredulously asked her to explain herself, because it was raining. Not acid rain, mind you. Not fiery comets, but just your every day average rain. She said that people drive more slowly in the rain, again with her "you idiot" tone. I pointed out to her if the driver had left a half an hour prior, and still hadn't made it to our house, (which I will reiterate is approximately 8 blocks away) then at this point even the best of pizzas would be garbage and asked for her name. I wanted to put a label on the person who, despite my best efforts to be patient and polite while dying of hunger was making my life so heinous. She said Liz I think. Or Lisa. I would have remembered better but I was pretty low on blood sugar because of my lack of pizza. I wonder what life will be like for people ordering from this place when winter hits, as opposed to on a Sunday night with some November rain. I'm certainly not going to find out. Needless to say, food: ice cold, mediocre. Liz/Lisa: the worst. I Probably wouldn't have been upset enough to write a yelp review 2 days later without you, girl. The service industry is about customer service.... Work on it or get a new job. I'd recommend dock-work or maybe something at the DMV with your attitude.

  • Kristina K.

I live near this place so I regularly visit it. It's nothing to rave about, but I always leave satisfied. For under $5, you get a massive slice of pizza and a drink -- great deal, especially for the college students in the area. Beware, though, their wings were not good at all. I was hoping they would at least be decent. They stay open late which is great for bar-goers and late-night studiers. For that reason alone, I can appreciate this place.

  • Matt S.

Ordered two large pizzas for my coworkers and I here at the united airlines headquarters on Franklin st. First time eating their pizza as my normal place was closed for New Year's Day. I have a new favorite now.

    (5)
  • Holly C.

Got the thin crust cheese pizza to go, and it was solid! Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Perfect for late night cravings or any time you want pizza! It's nice having local options instead of pizza chains since those are all over the place.

    (4)
  • Andrew K.

Such nice people I ordered without realizing I didn't have my card with me and just gave me the food. Gotta get back to make it up to them. And the pizza is awesome!

    (5)
  • Cathy R.

For under $5, you get a large slice of pizza with a drink. Actually the large slice is so big that they cut it in half and it looks like 2 decent slices. Overall good flavor. But it's your average slice and a drink stop. I have to say that i do prefer Damenzo's. This place has a pretty good bang for your buck, I just wish it was around back when I was at UIC! Although at that time, the slice and drink deal was $3...but you can't get something like that in most places anymore. If you're in the city for a fancy dinner and end up leaving still a little hungry (and guilty for spending so much and still being hungry!), come share a slice with your spouse/date and you'll end the night with your belly properly full and happy...like I did ;)

    (3)
  • Roxanne R.

It's cheap pizza and it comes with a drink but I can take that money and buy a tombstones at Jewel, a better alternative..

    (2)
  • Peter Y.

The service is really slow. Like really, really slow. The pizza is also very greasy. However, it opens until 3 am on the weekend, which is seriously like the best thing ever. 3 stars for opening till 3 am.

    (3)
  • Paul C.

I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Good, quick, affordable. As an undergrad, this was one of the better pizza locations nearby. Beats any of the chains.

    (4)
  • Erika A.

Horrible pizza!! It was on chicagos best for margherita pizza which happens to be my fav. After one bite I am convinced it is the worst Margherita. Lack ingredients and super soggy crust. The Worst part is the girls that answer the phone are soooooo rude and lack customer service skills , pretty much could care less. Still waiting for for the manager to return my phone call about my refund....I wont.hold.my .breath.

  • Alexandria T.

We stopped in here before a concert last night at the UIC Pavilion because some of the other places nearby had waits. We were crunched for time; otherwise, we would have gone somewhere else. I got the egg and pepper sandwich. It wasn't anything to write home about. I tried some of the garlic bread and pizza as well. Everything was just mediocre, but I guess you get what you pay for because it was definitely inexpensive.

    (2)
  • Rebecca B.

Wasn't impressed with this pizza. You would think that Taylor Made would have decent pizza since it is in Little Italy, but it doesn't . The stuffed pizza looked like a DiGiorno's frozen pizza and I'd rather have that to be honest. The toppings didn't have any flavor and it wasn't worth 25 dollars. If you want to have pizza that's worth the price, go to Giordano's or Lou Malnatis.

    (1)
  • Aaron Jae M.

I mostly go here for late night pizza because it's open pretty darn late. For five bucks you get two large slices of pizza and a drink (bottled water or soda) It's a great deal and always hits the spot. I have also tried their mozzarella sticks and fried dough balls (which are sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar or garlic salt) DO NOT order their deep dish pizza. I tried it once and it isn't even close to real deep dish pizza. They just add more cheese, make the crust higher, and make it like a regular pizza. P.S. they have "stuffed" pizza which is not bad, this is not the deep dish pizza I am referring to

    (3)
  • Gina S.

We ordered a 14" veggie deep dish. It was ready exactly when I said I'd be there to pick up, kudos to that. The order came to a little over $15 with the help of a Groupon Now deal. Can't complain on the value there. The pizza was okay; crisp crust, filled with cheesy cheese, etc. Not bad, but not memorable.

    (3)
  • Kirsten A.

This little hole in the wall pizza place in a great inexpensive stop for lunch. For $5 you can get a small soda and two slices of pizza! It has an old school mom and pop feel complete with a couple tables and a little tv. The sauce could be a touch more zesty, but it's great for the price.

    (3)
  • Cristina P.

Decent pizza. Ny style. But very skimpy on toppings.

    (3)
  • Toni R.

Decent pizza, amazing fried ravioli. I ordered here on a Sunday night and I was told that my order would arrive in an hour and fifteen minutes, which did not make me happy but at least I wouldn't have to cook. To my happy surprise the delivery guy showed up forty minutes later with piping hot food. I really like a crispy thin crust pizza and theirs was on the softer side but still tasty. The pizza sauce had good flavor and it was spread evenly and not chunky, which I feel important if you prefer thin crust. The fried ravioli came with five larger pieces with the sauce on top, so if you prefer to dip your ravioli ask for the sauce on the side. All in all I would eat here again

    (4)
  • Y H.

Pricing is great! For a little less than $5 you get a huge slice of pizza, which ends up really being two slices because it's so big AND you get a drink! One order is sufficient for the average person. Taste: it's ok. It's not bad, but it's also not out of this world. If you're craving pizza and in a rush or looking for a reasonably priced place to eat, it does the job. At $5 it's worth stopping by.

Fast, inexpensive, delicious thin crust pizza.

Decided to try the stuffed crust deep dish and plain deep dish. Both delicious and great price! Delivered right on time and it was a great surprise for my hubby. We will definitely be getting this pizza again soon!

Went there last night got a slice of Pepperoni pizza n it was so cheesy n hot. Open late and the line moved quickly.

Solid deal and great thin crust. My favorite in this neighborhood. Convenient Fast Delish Cheap Open late

  • Chelsea D.

I was really disappointed. About 70 minutes after we placed our order, I called, and was tols it would be another 20 minute for delivery. I said I would just come pick the pizza up, as there were kids waiting for dinner. When I got there, I was told my pizza had been sitting out " for awhile", when asked how long awhile was, Mary Beth rolled her eyes. I asked for the manager, and was told he was not there. Eric, manager of Taylor Made, your employees are RUDE! The large vegetarian pizza we ordered was $23. It was not bad, but not great, and the crust needs work. The service was flat out rude. Pizza Hut is a better bet.

  • Jennifer K.

Taylor made is an excellent pizza joint. I'm never disappointed with their pizza . The service is so-so. One time when we ordered the pizza, we were told the pizza would arrive within the hour. 2hrs later, the delivery guy showed, and we didn't tip him. My advice is to pick up the pizza, instead. It disappoints me that people go to papa Johns, which is across the street. All I can think is that those dumb college kids are missing out on some fine pizza that Taylor made has to offer. Taylor made has REAL pizza; not pizza that tastes like cardboard (Im referring to papa johns). Their loss.

  • Roshni P.

I've been here a few times and always get the pizza slice with pop deal, great for a quick meal. The slices are huge too, they give a fourth of a whole pizza just to give a general estimate on the size. It's a little thin and oily for my taste but whenever i'm craving pizza, it's good enough for me!

    (3)
  • Anne S.

I like giant pizza slices I can get individually. I wouldn't really compare them to regular pizza places, but they definitely serve a purpose. I had a slice of supreme pizza and a pop for $5. Cheese pizza and pop is $4. That is a good deal! The slice of pizza is big! The pizza is pretty good. The toppings were decent and tasty. They warm up the slice in an oven right before giving it to you, which makes it warm and crispy. I really liked this! And it still only took like a minute to get my food. (Warming it didn't take much longer than filling the cup with pop). The pizza really hit the spot!

    (4)
  • Bex F.

And the quest continues for super tasty excellent delivery pizza. We ordered a deep dish with pepperoni. It arrived on time and hot which are pluses. It really isn't deep dish, so be advised. It's about as thick as a pan pizza in total height, maybe, but not really, with a super tall end crust. Not like any deep dish I've ever had before. It was cheesy cheesy cheesy, bordering on almost too much cheese, even for me which is hard to do. The pizza looked nothing at all like the picture I see below as I write this, that's for sure. Overall the sauce was decent. I mean, it was all just ok. Maybe we'll give them another chance but we won't be ordering a deep dish again.

  • Diana G.

Came her with my sister and her boyfriend. We ordered the 18' cheese pizza, cheese fries and hamburger and 3 large Pepsi. Place isn't very big, but does have a tv for viewing and pretty clean. The pizza - It was ok, but like Maura R. said, the pizza could've been cooked a bit longer. We took most of it home and my sister and I think it was a bit better after nuking in the microwave. The cheese fries were salty and the cheese was weird. Not what we expected for cheese fries. I had the hamburger and it was nothing special. I did like how the beef fit the bun though so that is a PLUS. I didn't have to go "Where's the beef?" Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it wasn't bad.

Trying to complete my tour of Taylor Street before I move, the bf and I stumbled into Taylor Made around 1 am on Friday night. We both ordered reasonably priced slices of pizza and pop and brought them home to eat. The sausage pizza was huge and awesome. After making the journey down the other way on Taylor to Bacci's and DaMenzo's, I found out that Taylor Made is better than both. And its open really late. A great place to come and get a huge slice for a reasonable price!

    (4)
  • Steph V.

Good pizza for being drunk...... Haha just kidding. But seriously, I loveeee Taylor Made Pizzaa! It is open late and the pizza is sooo cheesy and the price is right!! Their "slice" is huge and I always think I was given extra!!

    (4)
  • Luke D.

Went here late night and got one of the worst slices I've ever had. It was on par with what you'd get at Dominick's (i.e., trash). I imagine this place is only in business because of its low prices, proximity to UIC and late hours. If you are ordering pizza from Taylor Made, it is because you need something cheap and/or immediately-- not because of the taste. I would cook a Tombstone before returning to Taylor Made. Easily the worst pizza I've had in Chicago, and one of the worst I've ever had anywhere.

    (1)
  • Johnny T.

3.5 stars I thought the pizza was pretty good, even though I had low expectations. Sauce was slightly sweet and was the right amount. There was something about the chewy dough that's makes the pizza as a whole taste good. Too bad about the Papa Johns being in that adjacent corner as I see them taking most of the pizza business on the block.

If you're looking for late night fast food grub anywhere in the West Loop or Near South Loop, you're always going to be in for a challenge. Your choices are basically going to be Greek Town (blech), Jim's (eh) or El Famous (meh). Looking for late night grub in this area is like looking for lunch in the Loop. Enter Taylor Made Pizza. Okay, it's not really in the West Loop. Is it Little Italy? Is it University Village? Is it Taylor Street? Who knows? I discovered it and figured it could be a late night grub oasis. You have to take what you can get in this area late night. Taylor Made has all the usual Italian options as well as hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. I was only interested in a slice. Curiously, when you buy a slice at Taylor Made, it is compulsory to get a pop along with it. That's how they sell it - slice and a pop for $4.75. You don't ask questions in this area. Trust me. The slices are huge. My slice was grabbed from a pizza sitting in the open and then tossed into the oven for 45 seconds. As you can imagine, this doesn't make for the tastiest pizza. The slice was almost tasteless and had a cardboard crust. Maybe, at a busier time of the day, the slices are fresher and taste better? Who knows? You can find better slices at Whole Foods and even Tomato Head. Still, nothing can beat an Aurelio's pizza. It's just that they close so early. I may return if I'm in a pinch late night and need a slice. Otherwise, I'll go to Whole Foods. Chicago may be a great pizza town. But it's certainly not a great slices town. You either eat big or go home here, I suppose. Two stars.

  • Edgar D.

Just stopped by this place yesterday and don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. Tried to use a groupon and was told that because I ordered a "special" pizza they couldn't honor it without removing the promotion. However, nowhere on the groupon did it mention anything about not being able to use it with any promotions they have. They didn't even apologize for the mix up. They get 1 star for the decent pizza.

  • First L.

Good pizza by the slice or the pie. Chocolate dipped cannoli are also great. Far better pizza than a nearby national-chain competitor. Plus they have soft serve ice cream. $4.75 for 1/4 pizza plus a soda is a great deal. Ask nicely and they'll cut the slice for you so you can share it with your date. Which you really should do...have you taken a look at your waistline lately?

  • Benjamin R.

I've liked everything I've ordered from Taylor Made, although that's mainly limited to pizza, calzones, and eggplant Parmesan sandwiches. I can't comment on other reviewers' issues with delivery, though, since I live so close it's much quicker to walk over there and pick it up myself. In comparison to the two other nearby pizzerias, it beats Sofia's on taste if not price, and beats Papa John's on both counts. Taylor Made's pizza-by-the-slice is a good value, too.

    (4)
  • Ali Z.

Eh, the pizza here was just average. The toppings were okay but the sauce tasted like tomato paste and crust was puffy and cardboard like It seems their slices have been sitting around all day because the pizza always tastes kinda stale. This place will do if it's 1am and you're starving but it's not much better than the Papa John's a few blocks down.

  • Nycole H.

Got a YouSwoop for Seemless.com and I really wanted some pizza so this was a close option and one I had never tried before. I was in the mood for some awesome deep dish pizza. I ordered deep dish pizza and some garlic bread with cheese. It took them about 2 hours to get here even though they're literally not even 5 minutes away. That's fine I expected it to be slow. The garlic bread was absolutely disgusting. I think they drenched it in garlic. I love garlic and never thought I could have too much but they just proved it's possible. The pizza was cold. I had to warm it up which automatically takes away from my excitement and the crust is then no longer crisp. The pizza itself was ok. I wouldn't say bad or good. It's one of those middle of the road places that I wouldn't say no to eating but I also wouldn't recommend. There is no special flavors that came out that would make me remember them.

We went here prior to seeing a show at the UIC pavillion. Main reason - I had a Groupon. Secondary reason obviously being that it was insanely close to where we needed to be. Having never been here before, I had no idea what to expect. Upon arriving, I could see that this was just a hole-in-the-wall type pizza joint. Very small. I believe the health code sign said it could seat only 20 people. No wait staff, counter only. Also appears to be a hangout spot for UIC students. Still, I figured it would be good for a quick meal, and hey, I only paid $10 for the Groupon. We ordered a basket of fried mushrooms and a margherita pizza. Service was on the slow side, despite us being the only patrons other than some rowdy college kids who were mostly just hanging out, not ordering food. The fried mushrooms were standard quality for this type of joint, but good. Very small amount for the $4.99 price tag though. The pizza had a good flavor but the consistency was odd. It was very very thin (not a bad thing), but the edges were cracker-like while the middle was somewhat soggy. Still, we were hungry and finished it all. I probably wouldn't go here again, but I can't complain too much about a meal for two for just over $10.

Try the deep fried monkey penis, it's delicious! Taylor Made's GM, Eric, totally allows Jews in his establishment. What a nice guy! Liz, one of their main workers, looks like Megan Fox shrunken in a dryer. What a friggin knock out! They don't even get mad at me when eat a slice of pepporoni pizza with a raging boner and I accidentally start knocking over salt and pepper shakers and napkin holders with the diving board in my pants that their employees give me. They just clean that shit right up....I think only the service at The Last Supper was better. I say that supporting any other pizza joint would be like supporting German National Socialism. How dare you.

Cardboard lovers rejoice! If you enjoy gnawing on boxes and playing keep-the-food-off-the-tongue-because-ICK! this is your pizza joint! The slices may be enormous, but that doesn't make them NOT cardboard! They always try to give you a free! enormous! drink, to fatten you up with HFCS. They will look at you funny if you DO NOT WANT! Because! It's FREE! with your overpriced cardboard! It's a clever name considering they are on Taylor Street, and they Made the cardboard! In the back room! crust: gross sauce: bland cheese: cheap and non-plentiful

Let me begin by saying, this is by far my favorite pizza place in Chicago. I've lived in the "South Loop" area for about 3 years now and TMP was recommended to me by another friend who lived in the area. The gift that keeps on giving because the pizza is amazing and the people are very friendly and appreciative of your business. My one "complaint" and I hate calling it that is yesterday on Memorial Day, I was on my couch chilling and had a sudden craving for a pizza. Of course I called TMP. I listened to a automated phone system tell me all about TMP's amazing pizza, people and customer service (which I typically agree with). What it didn't tell me was for some reason it was closed. Maybe they're not open Monday's or maybe it was just because it was Memorial Day. I sat on the phone listening for 10 minutes before I had the idea I would just drive over. While still listening to this message I got in my car, drove over there and found out they were not open (16:34 Minutes after initially calling). One would think if customer service was so important and it being Memorial Day and all, they'd at least create a message letting the TMP faithful know they were not open. Again, just a little frustrating. Oh yea, X Large One Topping Pizza 12.99...awesome deal, keep it going!

We just ordered from here today, I thought it was pretty good and so did the husband, we ordered online which was pretty quick and easy, 10% off if you order online, there was a little coupon to click. We got the stuffed pizza, half mushroom and the other half mushroom and sausage. The online order said that it will be ready at 7:06pm and it was basically that was when it was ready, on the dot! The crust is not hard like Lou's, its softer, which I liked and I liked the tangy sauce. The place itself isnt anything special but it wasnt bad, there were some chicago cops eating in there when I went to pick up the pizza. Oh and the girl at the counter is like do you want a 1 liter of pepsi or ice tea-added bonus, POP! WHO HOO! Would order it again!

Their thin crust is awesome. Best pizza I've had so far since I moved downtown. Perfect if you're into really thin crust pizza. And inexpensive.

Does anyone else think the sauce on the stuffed pizza is just a teeny bit too sour?? It was kind of distracting.. my thoughts kind of went like this "mmm!! delicious cheese, awesome sausage, don't mind the spices.. wait, what was THAT?!" I had to grab a fork and scoop some of that sauce out of my way before continuing with my eating fest. The breaded mushrooms were sooo good, if only the marinara had been as well. Prices were decent, I got a slice of stuffed sausage with a fountain drink for $4

I'll start by saying that the pizza from here is pretty good. I ordered a Sausage pizza on the medium crust, and was happy with the quality of the pizza, especially given the price, it was exactly what I was craving. However, I placed my order on grubhub, was given an estimated delivery time of a bout 50 minutes if I remember correctly. I only live a handful of blocks away, and I really wish I had ordered carry out, because my pizza didn't come for close to 2 hours after I placed my order. Good pizza, which is unfortunate, because I doubt I'll ever be ordering from here again.

Tried: Large Deep Dish Supreme Pizza: The crust was good, no after taste and easy to digest. The amount of ingredients was sparse. Just one ring of ingredients. Mostly dough and not much else. And not sure what was going on, but the pizza had no taste. It's like someone forgot to season it. Really, weird. Threw away half of the pizza. Hot Wing Special with Fries: The wings were soggy with bright bright neon orange hot sauce. Nasty. Ate a couple and gave up. Breaded Steak Sandwich: "Steak" was over cooked. Just OMG WTH. Red Sauce was bitter. Maybe from the over fried meat. Tough. Tossed. Rib Tips Special: Looked at it and disposed of it quickly. Meat was burnt, black and gray., tough and just a waste of money. WTH. Will never go back. Tried it twice and won't be back a third. Wish I could get my money back. Seriously disappointed. Others in my party wanted me to add more emphasis on how bad the food was, but I'll leave my review as is. Oh yeah, on second trip, Front dining room smelled like B.O.. Front door was propped open to air it out.

Taylor Made isn't inedible but it's not all that good either. The crust is dry and crackery which is a bit pizza blasphemy on its own but couple that with the size of the slice (see Bacci, ie ginorm) and it's epic fail in that it's impossible to fold. Oh, and the rest of the pizza (sauce, cheese, pepperoni) lacked much in the flavor dept. TMP = Terribly Made Pizza.

Sub-par. Had two groupons. First I had a slice of cardboard with tastless sauce and some cheese and pasta carbonara which was tastless, I couldn't even fix it at home. I don't remember what else I had ordered. Second time it took between 15-20 minutes to get three sandwhiches (SP?) and fries and there wasn't anyone else there! My beef ( $7.09) was dry and there wasn't much meat. At that price didn't even include fries. My freinds combo disappointed him, he said the sausage seemed boiled, he like grilled. Also they charged me for peppers on the side and didn't give them to me. Steak sandwhich rated a Meh. Fry orders were skimpy. Everything was served at the correct temperature and the place seems clean, and the parking was easy, that's why I don't rate it 1 star. With so many fast food/pizza slice places in the area I can't imagine why anyone would waste their time and money here. To the owners: Sorry, I don't want to be mean, but there is alot of room for improvement. Take note of the other recent reviews.

I love this place, the pizza's and the ingredients are fresh and really good. The price is reasonable and their menu has a variety of items for you to choose from. The entire staff is very friendly and this is a great place to dine.

Been here twice now. And both times I'm in a food coma from the awesomeness. First time, I got a slice of pizza. The second I got a Chicken Parmesan sandwich. The sandwich was huge and awesome. You can get it with fries... which are also yummy. People are super friendly. The walls have a cool mural on them. I approve.

Been here a few times since they opened. Yea, its a good deal to walk in, get a slice and a pop for under $5. Its exactly as you'd expect a $12.00 pizza to taste like. Fried zucchini was great. Fries seem lacking(or over cooked). Good sauce, and sausage left me no heartburn any time I've eaten here. The tira misu i grabbed today was super fresh! A dog and fries for a buck and a half? YAY. Slice and a pop for bout $3? Omg YAY. They do need to aim their track lights because no matter where you stand in the little store waiting for your food, you'll feel like you're scalp is burning and you leave blind. :D

Had a slice w my boy today, it was good, the service was good. Can't complain, didn't have much else. It's nearby so I will have to check out some other stuff later. I was eyeing desert, but the cupcake place is next door..pizza n cupcakes, yes it was a greasy food day.

I need to know: what the HELL is with the cutting of the pizza into squares? Not only does this serve no function (i.e. where do you grip the pizza without being thumb deep in cheese), I have not encountered this practice anywhere else in the civilized world. Do you eat less pizza because the pieces are smaller? Seriously I would love to know why and/or how this came about. But it seems to me that the places that practice the square pizza cutting are usually all about the same in quality. First off let me preface this by saying I came to Chicago with the impression that it was the pizza capital of the universe. This is a big fallacy. Once you get over the novelty of stuffed pizza (which is impossible to eat on a consistent basis and not have a coronary), you are faced with the startling realization that most Chicago pizza places from the big names to the hole in the walls serve exactly the same thing. Taylor Made is no exception. Obviously, Taylor Made does the square cut which is points off in my book. Their thin crust really isn't thin enough, and while I like cheese there is just too much on it. And it's so rubbery that you take one bite off of your stupid square and you pull all of the cheese off of it. This leaves you with bare saucy crust thereby disrupting the balance. Let's talk about the ambiance of the place. It's sparse, but clean. We decided to eat in, and were pretty much stared at the entire time by two guys who I presume were employees who were also watching a Cubs game. Lots of loud conversations, and from the feel of it I half expected Steven Seagal circa Out For Justice to waltz in and rough some guys up because they wouldn't tell him where Ritchie was. If you know what I'm talking about you get points. I appreciate that they had Pepsi products instead of Coke. But if we are dining in, give me a large fountain drink, not a can. WTH? Sorry Taylor Made, you are mediocre!!

After helping friends move into the area, they ordered some deep dish from here. Two pies were gotten: a sausage, mushroom, green pepper and a spinach. After a full day of moving, you would think that every bite would taste as good as some sort of mythical wonderstar-superfood. Unfortunately, I was sorely dissapointed. As far as deep dish pizzas go, I thought this one was pretty bland. the sausage and green peppers didn't have a lot of flavor and I wondered about how fresh they were. The spinach pie was possibly just slightly better, but even that I'm not sure of. The tomato sauce was bland too. It all could have definitely benefitted from better seasoning. Overall, I would think this place is easily passed up by any number of other chicago pizza joints.

I don't know what it is but this place reminds me of the pizza place I used to love as a kid growing up in the suburbs. I think it might be the crust, or the perfect thick/thinness of the slices. Maybe it's the perfect ratio of spices, cheese and toppings. They also have the best mozzarella sticks I have (dare I say) ever had! Never eaten-in, only delivery, and my food has always showed up hot and fresh. Yum.

I used to love this place. They had some of the best pizza in the city. Then I came back to UIC for the new semester, looking forward to their pizza on lunch break and they changed the style. The sauce changed, the crust changed, and the cheese changed. They gave bigger slices of worse pizza and raised the price. I will probably not go here again. RIP Taylor Made. You were the best once.

I know it's blasphemy to say this in Chicago, but I don't LOVE deep dish pizza. So, when I have the urge for a slice of thin crust, I head to Taylor Made Pizza. Don't get me wrong, Taylor Made also makes a great deep dish pizza, but my point is, I can get deep dish pizza at a thousand other places in the city. Taylor Made offers both deep dish and thing crust pizza by the slice. The variety is pretty small (usually only sausage, cheese and the special of the day), but you can order a full size pizza with pretty much anything on it. I should also add here that I've rarely actually ordered a full pizza from here. Although I've never had any problems on the days that I did order, I just prefer to buy pizza by the slice (It's a portion control thing). Regardless, the individual slices are huge and each one comes with a drink. The staff always seems very friendly when I'm in there, and I've never waited more than a couple of minutes for my food. I'd highly recommend Taylor Made Pizza to anyone, especially students studying late at the University of Illinois-Chicago (It's right down the street!).

This place has the best pizza on Taylor St. I work on Taylor and from time to time I often go up and down Taylor Street looking for a lunchtime meal. I always order the stuffed sausage pizza. It's so good, mmmm. The people there are very nice and accommodating.

Spent the night at my son's place in the city, we ordered from Taylor Made and was not disappointed. Delivery was super fast, but it was on a Wed. Ordered the thin crust cheese, (a purest at heart) and felt it was excellent but different. Having traveled to Naples Italy many times, I can tell you it was different from that, the crust is softer and a bit thicker, but very yeasty, just the way I like it. The cheese was good quality and there was enough on it. Can't wait to get back into the neighborhood again to order more!

Pretty good pizza, the place is small so try and come in a small group or order out for take out. I went with a bunch of friends and we ate there, it's definitely worth the price you pay.

Okay not my favorite but it was good not greasy which was a plus for me becuase I do not like overly greasy pizza. got a 14' sausage and 16' vegetarian THIN (I think they are known for their stuffed) subbed spinach for mushrooms for a little over 30 dollars delivered sunday night let me tell you it was a quick delivery we live in south loop. spinach was more of a pesto on the vegetarian which was weird and made the cheese taste weird. sausage was better though. On both I feel the pizza wasa little undercooked I would have liked my crust crustier and my cheese a little more browned on top. So I would recommend telling them how you like it cooked if you like more well done. I am a pizza snob and if I did order again I would have to specify how well i like it cooked OVERALL: service fast, it was cheap, and the pizza was decent Recommend: Try it. YOU might like it

Pizza for my family was good. A long, long, long wait to have it made though. One thing I didn't like was the double charge to have it in spinach. I didn't see that exception. Next time, I'll try the 12.99 pizza. It's a place to try, why not?

if you are on a student budget or simply looking for a good pizza at an affordable price Taylor Made Pizza is your place! I Their pizza slices are more than generous, and for less than $9 you can get a jumbo slice of pizza (they are 2 slices) and a pop.

I tried their stuffed pizza with spinach and basil-- the pizza was definitely a step above giordanos. The only problem with this place is that it took them over an hour to deliver it (i live down the street) and it was around 15 bucks for a individual sized 7" pizza. That's a little expensive considering that this is a take-out/delivery kind of place. I give the pizza 5 stars, the wait time 2 stars, and the price 3 stars. With this said, I'd go here again b/c stuffed crust pizza is probably one of the better ones i've had!

Taylor Made was my first ever "Chicago pizza" when I first moved here. It may not be a prime example but it's damn good all the same. I usually only sneak bites off of my friends slices as I can't shove a whole one in most nights. Excellent on a Saturday night when it's open late and you're stumbling hungry home from the bar. Yummy lasagna, if my memory serves me well. But their hot wings, which I had last night for the first time (30 minute delivery on SuperBowl Sunday was phenomenal btw) are the best I've had yet. Granted I'm a relative hot wing virgin, seeing as I've only been eating them for a few months, but these were lovely. Tender, with plenty of meat and spicy without losing the flavor. Great little pizza place and not painful on the pocket.

HUGE SLICE! very lil price 4.50 with a pop??? whats not to like...wasnt the best I ever had but the size of the slice with fill you up. Had the cheese and sussage...good overall flavor.

We ordered from here last night so I could try somthing new, and Im glad I did... I ordered the paulos salad which is definitely something I will order again! Lots of big chunks of fresh ripe tomatoes, olives, grilled chicken, cheese, etc. My friend ordered a soup and a caprese salad. Im gonna have to try the pizza next time because Ive heard such great things about it. I have to say tho, one of my favorite things about this place was that the delivery was FAST and the delivery guy was VERY friendly. Our order was packed neatly, and was ACCURATE - which to me is one of the most important things about a delivery... so many times I order delivery and my order arrives either completely inaccurate or missing parts of the order, etc... Also, their prices are completely reasonable and they have a variety of "staple" foods - mozarella sticks, chicken strips, breaded mushrooms, etc. Overall, although I havent had the pizza yet, I will defenitely be back for more :)

Best meatballs ever. Once or twice a year I get a craving for a meatball parm sandwich that can only be satiated one way. I may never need another one again because Taylor Made Pizza had the BEST meatball sub in the world, and I'm set for another year at least. Delicious sauce and the meat was perrrrfect. Pizza was good too, but the tiramisu and chocolate cannoli were amazing. I don't have much of a reason to hang out here other than my high school is a few blocks away, but perhaps if I need to see another show at UIC, this will be the place. Easy parking to walk straight into the show. Yum.

Went here once, will not go back. It was a little late in the day, and I suspect the pizza was a re-heated grocery store pizza out of a box. Worst pizza I ever ate at a restaurant.

Hi and I don't think I am a true fan of this pizza. I ordered it while at work and it was ok but had nothing special to say about it. I used a $20 groupon that I paid $10 for and it seemed as if the customer service person tone changed when I told her. She took all the specials off the price and I didn't qualify for the 2 pizzas - one for 14.99 & other 1/2 off. My meal came to $18.00 plus $2.50 delivery. She then told me I had to purchase something more on the pizza to add to $20.00 then had the delivery. Then with the tax and delivery, I ended up paying an additional $6.00 + $2.00 for the delivery guy - that's 8.00 plus the $10.00 I paid for the group - that adds to $18.00 anyway. I will definitely pass this up in the future. Then to get the pizza and it's o.k. - - not a good deal at all! Very dissatisfied - and to top it off..I placed the order at 10:45, the pizza arrived at 12:30p. Toooo Looong - it's 4 blocks from my job..

The place has everything - friendly people behind the counter, late open hours, New York style pizza (deep dish too), and awsome hot wings. While have never had the pasta dishes they have them too. Cannoli are great for dessert! Pizza has tons of cheeses and is a pretty good deal - i've never left hungry. Wings are really good with crunchy skin just a little and tender meat. There is usually football of some sort on tv.

The pizza is just average but a slice is huge and comes with a drink. It hits the spot at 1AM after the bars are closed. That's about it.

Not to be confused with Taylor Made on Western, this newish pizza place seemed like a good option last night after some beach time and a bike ride. $12 bought us two stuffed slices of sausage, a regular slice of sausage, a giant Diet Pepsi and a small Diet Pepsi. Not bad considering we almost went and spent a ton more at Giordanos. The pizza was good and really hit the spot. They have other options like Italian beef and hot dogs and another customer's mozzarella sticks smelled pretty tasty. I'll probably be back soon when I'm dying for pizza and stupid Aldo's decides to close at 9pm on weeknights or at ??pm on Sundays. Seriously what's with the ??

I like this place because of the conveince of walking in to grab a slice of pizza. You can quickly sit down and eat and leave without a big fuss. I like all of their pizza so far but the deep dish. It has too much sauce for me. I LOVE the tiramisu in a cup. That is always a treat! If you get a slice it comes with a drink. They also have other food besides pizza that I have not checked out.

I'll echo the masses of people who point out that it's not the greatest but it is certainly far away from being the worst. Giant slices with a pretty decent sized pop start at $4 and start creeping up to $5 when you add on more toppings. I myself am a pepperoni man so my total always ends on $4.50. Totally livable. My roommate and I actually ventured into the realm of the Deep Dish once and it was pretty stellar. Bonus points for being open semi-late. Anyone else kind of annoyed that by the time you get back to your place to actually eat the pizza your hands are burned because all you get between you and the slice is that tiny bag? WHOO-WEE that can really sting. Also, Darcy H. totally deserves to be judged for her pizza topping choices.

    (4)
  • Dex Y.

I kind of like this place. I tried the sausage stuffed pizza and it didn't let me down. The sausage could've been more flavorful though. The cheese and sauce on top were tasty. The price is reasonable. For about $6 you can get a slice of stuffed pizza, a small soda and an ice cream cone.

I'm on an eating out kick. So I decided to check out Taylor Made. I got a small thin crust jalapeno and pineapple (don't judge) pizza. It was quite tasty but I would have liked a doughy-er crust. I reheated it and ate it for the next three days. It was good even then. Oh and the cannolis are good, except the chocolate one is a bit too much. The pistachios on each end were a great extra crunch.

  • G R.

I give them four stars for the freshness of the slices. Most by the slice places end up with a soggy crust and a crispy cheese topping. The exact upside down version of what you want. The cheesy was gooey, not overheated and greasy and the crust was crisp. My husband had the veggie slice; tomatoes, mushrooms, green-peppers, onions and spinach. Now that's a veggie, slice. Usually you get three toppings for the price. I had the lasagna special, it would have been great if it weren't as well done. A couple of sections were a bit burnt. However, overall pretty good. The pizza slices come with a free drink, my husband order two slices. The owner offered us a choice of one large or two smalls, so I didn't have to get one of my own. I know this may seem like a small thing, but we went to one place, that had the same deal once, and just gave him one drink, when I brought up the second slice, a drink per slice, they stated that it was per person, and he can't have two drinks. And since I didn't order pizza, I didn't qualify. So when is a slice not a slice? This was Renaldi's on Halsted, which I need to review. We'll stop back into this neighborhood place.

It is with sad reservation that I will write the worst review I have ever written or thought about a restaurant. I have been a lunchtime regular at Taylor Made for quite a while, and think they offer tasty stuff at a very reasonable price. Reason enough to go for most people... Don't get delivery, and if you care at all about service don't go here period. After waiting over an hour for delivery (originally estimated 40 minutes) I call politely and ask for an update. I am quickly told it'll be right there, before they even ask who was calling or what I ordered. 25 minutes later I politely call again and am told it's going to be right there. This time I make them actually check on my order, and tell them my name where I am greeted with a lovely racist remark. I thought this was in my head at first, and tried to ignore it but my coworker reassured me when I got off the phone that the remark sounded quite rude and small minded. After being berated, I am told to go wait outside for the delivery man and hung up on. I waited 10 minutes outside for my cold food only to find my order incorrect. Is it too much to ask to want a sandwich and not be belittled as a PAYING CUSTOMER? I don't think so.

I had deep dish sausage and deep dish spinach. The pizza presentation was perfect (coming from a person who has been toying with pizza recipes for 7 years). The pizza was not too greasy, and was bursting with taste. Unfortunately, the pizza(s) did not have enough sausage and spinach on them, respectively. Better than Pete's Pizza; on par or a little above Giordano's; about equal with Lou Malnati's. Look for CJ's pizza in about 10 years, it won't disappoint.

Best slice in the UIC area. First off, the place is very clean, has outstanding service, and the food is great. It's open late for all your drunken eating needs. They not only have 4 different types of thin crust by the slice, but also deep dish! Bonus: comes with a free drink. The other food is good, but nothing like the pizza. Speedy delivery as well. Make sure to talk to one of the several owners who are usually keeping the place running in top shape and tell em how much you like the za. One drawback might be that parking can be hard to find on a weekend, but never impossible. That really doesn't matter considering they have a very large delivery area. i wish i still lived a block away, because i would most certainly be stopping in there right now asking for a stuffed cheese slice with a mountain dew.

a friday workday is always that much harder following a beer-filled, sleep-deprived thursday night. add in an exhausting commute and crappy weather and by day's end, i'm ready for sweats and greasy, cheesy food that will propel my already-high cholesterol to new levels. enter taylor made. my condo is conveniently located near a plethora of delicious pizza places (coincidence? i think not), but the boy's place is located near taylor made. they have stuffed pizza, so i will allow it. their stuffed [sausage] pizza will hit the spot. nothing more. nothing less. it doesn't illuminate the taste buds like other stuffed/deep-dish pizzas i've come to love. while incredibly cheesy and sausage-heavy, as pizzas go, it's fairly bland and uninteresting. the crust exists only to annoy me. in a word: average. average pizza, prices and service. i'll likely order from here again but only because it's close and i'm a glutton.

Pretty good new restaurant in a neighborhood with plenty of Pizza places. They have a fairly extensive menu, and are reasonably priced - though I would like to see their delivery charge be $0 as opposed to the $2.50 that they do charge. As for the pizza, ours was really good, and ready exactly when they said it would be. The crust is crunchy around the edges but kind of 'gummy' or chewy throughout and the cheese seems really salty to me. They seem to have some good specials for group orders. There are a few tables for dining in, but it's more of a carryout/delivery place as the atmosphere isn't very conducive to enjoying a meal. It's really easy to park there, and the service was definitely very friendly! Overall, I'd go back, but I think I like the actual pizza at other places in the area is better.

This pizza is good. Reminds me of Bacci's pizzas with the big slices and the same consistency/crispness. Individual slices here are big!!! and they're better than whole pizzas...but I still get both. But the individual slices are always piping hot and crispy! The whole pizzas aren't quite as crispy as the individual slices, but it's still good. It's small inside...only a few small tables. The emloyees are also pretty nice and friendly. Always a good thing to have nice employees. :)

If you want a quick pizza, they have big slices with a free drink and the service is quick. They also have good mozzarella sticks. Other then that nothing too special. Its very small and you have to have a minimum $5 order to use your credit card and a slice of pizza is $4.75...so make sure to have cash or buy something with your pizza.

I had very high hopes for you, Taylor Made Pizza...but oh how you failed miserably. I placed my order on a Sunday night at 7:30pm. This was NOT during football season/holiday weekend so I didn't think that it would take over 90 minutes to get delivered...but that is exactly how long it took. I ordered a small, thin crust cheese pizza with spinach, tomatoes, mushroom, and green peppers. The pizza was cold and the 4 pieces in the middle were completely stuck to the box so I was only able to salvage 1 of the pieces. The green peppers were mushy and old and I ended up picking them all off. My fiance ordered their version of deep dish and it was extremely sub-par. They use ingredients sparingly and there was a lack of cheese. Isn't that what a deep dish pizza is? We both were very disappointed with the delivery time, quality of product, and overall taste and we will not be ordering from here again.

The great thing about ordering from TMP last night is that I paid $10 for a $20 Groupon. So, with tip, I was only out $15 bucks. The Worst. The hot wings sauce was good, but I couldn't find any chicken. Only soggy breading. I tore them apart. From 6 wings, I might have gotten a tablespoon of meat. The pasta Arribiata was the worst I've ever had. And I ordered a side of meatballs for $1.50. I got ONE meatball. The size of a silver dollar...no, a quarter. Delivery was on time. Of course, they call on their cell phone so you have to come downstairs. Sometimes that's ok. But sometimes, if I am paying for delivery and expected to tip the delivery person, shouldn't they DELIVER to my door?

Some of the best pizza I've had in the city. Open late. Friendly service. Cheap food. What more can you ask for? My only gripe is that you have to spend at least five bucks to use your debit card and just ordering a slice leaves you about $.07 shy of that amount (but I guess I still cant complain because it's too good and too cheap to make it valid). The point is, eat here.

I love Taylor made pizza for so many reasons. First is obviously the food. The pizza is definitely the way to go. Stuffed pizza done right is rare thing in a neighborhood place like this. In the neighborhood pizza parlor category it is easily number one and in my opinion this place can hang with the likes of Giordano's as far as pizza goes. The sandwiches are good too. You can't beat the price for the quality of food you get either. Next, this place is open late with slices, and to make things easier for your drunk ass at 1 in the morning, the slices come with a free drink. The owners a real cool also. If you're ever in there when its not busy don't be afraid to chew the fat with one of them, or any of the staff, while you wait. Delivery is most often timely and always hot. This place is one of the best.

Fast, Good, and Cheap. Friendly service, clean eating area, big tv. What more do you want from a pizza place?

I purchased a thin crust pizza from this place for the first time. They just could not seem to get my order right. Once it was finally corrected, I was only slightly impressed with the pizza. I have had their deep dish, which was good, but they fell way short on the thin crust. And what is the deal with that so-called "homemade giardiniera peppers"? They REALLY need to revamp that recipe. Not only that, the manager was not a pleasant one. He obviously need managerial classes on personality and the tone in which he speak to customer's that have receive unsatisfactory service.

Good pizza. The crust isn't all that thin, but the sauce is good. Speedy delivery, especially when I order 8 pizzas to be delivered by noon the same day I order them. It's good to have another place nearby work for other options. Soon I'll have to try the deep dish.

Ok well I live only a few blocks away so Ive been here quite a few times. Its always been a decent local small place to get stuffed pizza. Nothing to brag about but I like going to neighborhood places if their decent. Somehow the last 2 times Ive gone and gotten a pie the damn thing has been burnt. I went there over the weekend after not eating all day so I was starving, got home not only was it burnt but they take the pizza right out of the oven and put it on the cardboard. After doing t hat the pizza gets stuck on the cardboard and you lose the crust, which I guess isnt that bad since its burnt. So I guess if you have better luck then me and get a non burnt pizza that you can actually serve its pretty decent.

I tried this place for lunch as it's not too far from my work. I had a slice of deep dish sausage pizza. Everything was delicious with the exception of the sauce. It was just too sour for my liking as I had to scrape it off. I'm not big on pizza sauce but I normally don't scrape off the sauce. Over the place was very clean with friendly staff and a great lunch deal. A large slice of deep dish and a soda came to $4.00.

4 stars basically for how fast i've gotten my pizza on two occasions. I am so used to the hour+ that when my pizza and tasty cheesey garlic bread showed up in 23 minutes, it just made my day. It was hot, tasty, and perfectly on time.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
