I live in the neighborhood, and there are not many fast, cheap and healthy food options around here. This place skimps on everything except for bread and lettuce. I have eaten there a few times before I eventually realize it's a pattern. What seems like the amount for a 6-inch of chicken was spread over a 12-inch, and I have never had tuna sandwich with tuna mixed with so much water and other stuff that it's almost like a soup. I would suggest going around the corner to State and Grand for Chipotle. Better food and service.

I always enjoy my visits to Subway Sandwich shops. From CA to IL - I've never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, the staff always nice and they off the best and healthiest value around as a "fast food" joint. It doesn't get better than that. I can get a decent, well prepared sandwich, am offered variety, with daily specials and new creations to look forward to. I'm always fascinated by some of the bad reviews Subway gets at some locations, many of which I've visited myself. I suppose it is possible to have a bad experience -- but it's a Subway. It's not pretending to be anything other than a quick, low-priced, healthier fast food alternative. My experience at this shop was the same as it has been at others. A great sandwich at a great price. So glad there are so many of them!

Just witnessed this Subway getting robbed--8:30pm on a Monday night when I left the store. Oh yeah...thanks, CPD for eliminating the thugs and low-lifes from Michigan Avenue. Unfortunately, they just moved west to State Street and hang out around the Jewel area. Oh...the sandwich? Good. Typical Subway. 30 minutes after giving the police a statement, I guess I can eat my dinner back at the office.

This is by far the worst Subway location in Chicago. It is really hard to ruin a Subway experience as Corporate Office has thought of everything for its franchises. This location did the impossible. 1) Inside looks kind of raunchy 2) Toaster ovens do not work 3) Servers do not look clean and need a course of etiquette 4) They try to skimp out of a serving and are giving really reduced portions of sandwiches (as far as veggies goes etc) Long story short: I think health department needs to visit this place as well as someone from corporate to get these guys back on track. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Subway location.

Worst Subway I think I've ever been. The lettuce looked like it was weeks old and was discolored and wilted looking. The bread was not the fresh, soft bread I'm used to at Subway but instead was crunchy. I got a veggie delite and nothing tasted fresh on it at all. I also ordered a cookie which was rock solid! Very disappointing considering those cookies are pretty awesome when soft. Pretty gross all around though. Made me think everything was days old and they just didn't want to throw it out and chalk it up as a loss.

The settings are awesome,nice looking restaurant,but the servers are freaking rude!!!!!omg,I have never seen this kind of customer service. From the beginning of the order,no eye contact no smiles,these don't really matter as long as I get my good actually,but they were making my sub as slow as they haven't eaten anything for days. Even if when I am paying,they didn't seem like willing to take my credit card, ignored my question totally. they didn't even feel like talking to me at all,not even when I asked what kind of meat it was. worst subway that I've ever been to.
