Solid subway location. 2 different lines to move customers through fast. Food is as expected for Subway, cheap and what you make of it. Customer service here has been above average, and is conveniently located on Michigan Ave for those that work or live in the area. This location also has a new Vinagrette dressing (not the red wine, a different one), which would be the ying to the yang of the Sweet Onion dressing they serve.

This subway really only gets 3 stars because its subway cant really go wrong... Well you can get pretty damn close. 2 sandwich making stations, only have 1 open. Long lines. 1 rude employee (Really don't think he is trying to be rude, think he may be a bit delayed) Prices are not inflated because its down town, which is a good thing. Overall its a quick cheap lunch when I'm at the office.

Basic food but horrible service. Avoid at all costs for any of the dozen other sandwich shops in a several block radius.

This subway was the lifesaver for me, literally around the corner from the Wyndham Grand & Club Quarters hotels. I've gone to other subways that are extremely cheap with their toppings, like you ask for green peppers or spinach and they put 5 pieces. Not here, they gave you a healthy serving of each veggie topping you ask for. My sandwich did not feel pitiful or full of bread with no filling. Customer service was great-the ladies who served us was very pleasant and patient. The establishment was clean, and they are open til midnight or 1am on any given day. As a New Yorker you need late hours places out of town because the day run away from you and all of a sudden its 10pm & your stomach is growling after a recent reception where you were too busy networking than raiding the appetizer spread. Luckily, I went now-they have a promo of ANY kind of footlong subway sandwich for only $6! Can't beat that deal, there are no gimmicks or exceptions any meat selection on a foot long $6 for all of March.

Obviously, the food is what you would expect from Subway. Generally good-tasting, although heavily salted in place of fattiness. The workers behind the counter at this location have been largely excellent, and that is why I decided to do what I rarely do, and rate a franchise. I've been here 20 times or so over the summer, and have been pleased with the professionalism of the staff. Thanks!

The staff here is extremely rude and arrogant. They were very sloppy while making our Sub and ours only, they acted as if we did not know english and very very rude at all times, the experience was very surprising and not pleasant at all.

I've been working on Michigan Ave for a few weeks now and pass this particular Subway location as I make my way from the train station to Water Tower Place every day. Luckily, they're open early so on the days where I haven't brought my lunch, I stop in and pick up a sandwich to take with me. Since most Subways have pre-packaged food combinations, this one's pretty much like all the rest. But I will say that this location is clean and bright, and the lady that has been working mornings is always friendly and very accommodating. For instance, just yesterday we were chatting as she was making my sandwich and midway through the process, realized she was using the wrong cold cuts. I mentioned that it would be fine with me to continue making what she had and I'd gladly buy that one, but she insisted in starting over to fill my order properly. You can't tell me that most clerks wouldn't just be content with the fact I was willing to overlook their mistake and continue on. She's one of the good ones, Subway...hold on to her!

I like subway. I frequent other subways for lunch. This is hands down the worst subway I have been to. They were rude and trying to get through the line so fast that they were about 5 sandwiches ahead of where they should be. They didn't know whose sandwiches were whose and they were just yelling at everyone. I ordered one of the pizzas and they said I had to have ordered my vegetables when I first ordered the sandwich even though I was still standing by the breads. They refused to fix anything and were unbelievably rude about the whole thing so we all just walked out. I've never walked out of a subway before. In fact I don't think I've ever walked out of a restaurant before because I'm generally very easy going about things..

So, it's Subway. You know what their sandwiches taste like. No surprises here. But this location? DRIVES. ME. NUTS. They have two sandwich making stations. Yet they only ever have one open. Ok, fine. But they have enough staff manning this one station to open two! What ends up happening is you come in and get in line. There's maybe 4-5 people ahead of you and you're five feet from the counter and they're yelling across everyone asking what sandwich you want. Then everyone - staff AND customers - are tripping over each other trying to make sandwiches quickly, yelling back and forth over 2 or 3 other people while you pick your add-ons, trying desperately to keep a visual on your sandwich at all times so you don't a) end up with something you don't want and b) end up with the wrong sandwich, and eventually the line bottlenecks at the register anyway. FAIL. This could all be solved by OPENING THE SECOND STATION. Whew. I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

A Subway sandwich shop. You don't need to read a lengthy review since we all know what kind of sandwiches they make. This location can become seedy during the evening/late night hours with all the homeless the restaurant workers allow to sit inside and beg for money. Not a visit goes by without some bum coming through asking people for money or going up to the cashier, asking for a water cup, then sitting down for hours near the door to ask for handouts.

This Subway sucks-They are so rude here, mess up orders and serve rock hard bread- Ever since I moved to the area in April I try my hardest to avoid this Subway, they also charge more than any other Subway in the city-I only go here when I am hard up for food- Like today, snowing hard and all I wanted was a cold sandwich-Come in and I always get the same thing so I never need a minute-I stare at the person behind the counter, expecting her to take my order-She stares back at me, and then snaps "Are you ready!!!!" I give her my order with please and thank you's and I then see the bread she is cutting looks hard-I ask "Is that bread hard" and she ignores me- I get home and indeed it is hard as hell-This store sucks, management sucks and they think they can over charge b/c they are on Michigan Ave-

I have been to this Subway on Michigan and South Water twice a long time ago. Both times the sandwiches were good tasting and the workers were nice, accounting for the extra star. But both times I got sick.

One of THE worst subways around. My co-worker and I go once a week out to lunch so when that day comes around, we are expecting only the best. We have gone to the other two subway in the hood and they were just alright, and we thought that the subway on Michigan ave should be good! I get there and we get in line and get our food. As im getting my diet coke i realize it is flat. no bubbles. no carbination. so i tried to get something else...flat. Root beer....flat. so i let the lady know and ask if i can grab a bottle. she says hold on, let me ask someone to check the machine. no one checked the machine for at least 20 minutes. So as im waiting i started eating and the bread was stale. finally as we are leaving, my co-worker wants to complain about the bread and bring up them not checking the machine. they said someone checked the machine and it was fine. THE HELL IT WAS. soda is supposed to have buddles you idiot! go back to pakistan! and then my co worker says that the bread is stale and before she leaves she says "AND YOU GUYS SUCK!" and flips them off. way to go! dont go! there are enough subways downtown, save your money.

One of the several mediocre options I have for lunch when i forget to bring my own. Subway is cheap, reliable and I at least feel like I get some vegetables when I eat here. The line does get pretty long around lunch time, but at least it moves fast. It's Subway....like every other Subway you'll see. Sometimes the employees have trouble hearing or understanding requests...which became even more evident today. One of my coworkers went to get lunch for us and they completely messed up once they got to the vegetables. I mean, seriously, how do you get ALL vegetables confused with no vegetables. Grr...dumb subway.

Alright, so, I pretty much hate Subway. But I am giving this one 3 stars because (a) they got through a ridiculously long lunch line quickly and efficiently (b) they offer light mayo and baked chips and all that good stuff, so they get an A for effort, and most importantly... (c) while the boy and I were in there for lunch today, people came in and started asking if anyone wanted a free Subway t-shirt. We were wondering what was going on when all of a sudden we looked behind us and there was JARED! THE SUBWAY GUY! It was our "brush with fame" of the day. I felt bad for Jared, though. I guess I shouldn't, because he lost all that weight and he's probably getting paid a couple thousand just to stand around in the store for a while... but still. He literally just stood around in the store. It seemed very awkward. "Hey, yeah, I'm just gonna stand around... no, I'm good, I don't need to sit or anything. No, I'm not hungry, not gonna eat, just gonna stand here..." It just seemed odd. But luckily for him, people were constantly coming up asking for autographs and pictures, so maybe it wasnt' all that odd after all. Oh, and my sandwich was OK too, I suppose.

This subway tries to be efficient by having two counters, but it appears to feed in from one line. Everything seemed pretty subway-esqe. They do have a deal now, any 6-inch for 2.99 or below and any 6-inch deal (chips and drink) for 4.99... Not bad if you get an expensive 6-inch.

I know - reviewing a Subway? But more a note to self - this is not a very good Subway. Go back home and pick up your sandwich from the one in Streeterville instead.
