Is is just my luck or is it every time I'm here I get the girl who hates her life. I know I know it's annoying when a customer comes in and hands you a sheet of paper with everyone's sandwich and what they want on it written in horrible handwriting,but can you at-least understand where I'm coming from? nope apparently not. I often come here to get everyone's lunches I hand them a sheet of paper so I don't accidentally tell them the wrong thing. Last time I was in here the girl was obviously pissed that I did that and was being extra rude to me I tried to be nice and playfully joked that my coworkers had bad handwriting and she still was rude. Then a regular walks in she stops making my 4 sandwiches and just stands there talking to this guy for 10 minutes um wow Thanks? not to mention I think some bad food was purposely put on my sandwich because I was mysteriously sick for two days after eating my sandwich. I will probably return because it's so convenient ,but hope for some better service next time.

I just feel like it's very unprofessional when the workers speak Spanish 24/7 around customers who are eating. You're not supposed to do that in the work place if there are customers around.

When I first moved here I started going to this subway. I got to know the owner and he seemed like a cool guy. I had a good rapport with the employees. I went here a lot. I always got a good sandwich and a smile. Lately things have gone down hill. The last few times I have gone there the tomatos were nasty and old. in fact none of the veggies look that great. There is one lady that works here that is so rude. She won't even look at you. If you ask her for anything out of the ordinary she gives you a dirty look. It makes me nervous to eat food made by someone who cares so little about even being polite. No telling what she does to the food. The other day I got servered by her and then another guy rung me out. The guy just said the price looked at the floor with his hand out as if to say "fuck you pay me". Something really should be done it's sad to watch a place go down simply because they don't take the time and the care to make fresh food and be polite to customers. I'm not saying I'll never go there again but potbelly is right down the street and they smile and seem truly grateful for my business. Sorry Subway I'm just telling it like it is.. UPDATE: I ran across a former employee that used to work here. She told me that she was fired and told that this review was about her. Just wanted to make sure it's clear... Adrian was not the person I wrote this review about. I wrote it about someone totally different that worked days. Adrian was always very nice and a great representative. Instead of trying to pin this on an employee I think perhaps the owner should evaluate they way they do business and take criticism.

Subway is Subway for the most part. This one is on Southport in a very family friendly neighborhood. However, their staff IS NOT family friendly. I know that it isn't just my family either because I have seen them be nasty to several families in line with us. I dread going here when my kids ask for Subway.

It's clean, it's convenient, and yet they had nooo lettuce! Are you kidding me! How does a sandwich shop a-not realize that they're running low on lettuce and b-run out of lettuce period! This poorly run joint will no doubt still make money, blah, blah. It was just a completely baffling experience.

So I love subway and I am very excited there is a new subway on Southport. The new one is nice and clean, BUT I do have one major problem with it. The sandwich artists do not know how to close the freakin sandwiches, and it is so annoying!!!! They need learn how to use the knife to fold over the bread. ugh! Sometimes I want to jump behind the counter and do it for them.
