While Starbucks is probably not the best coffee in the city, this corner Starbucks is probably one of the most friendly ones I have ever been too (and I certainly have been to a lot of Starbucks). While I know the baristas are supposed to learn our names and drinks, this team certainly goes above and beyond. They are genuine and sincere. Maybe it is because its a small, corner shop here in Lincoln Park. Maybe they are just awesome. It is not just me. I see them regularly welcome all of their regulars. They smile, inter act and are just fun to be around. They make a pretty damn good iced mocha as well! On a side note (and it is certainly NOT the staff's fault) - this is probably one of the worst wi-fi service of any Starbucks. Cant wait for the new Google service. Then, this place will be perfect!

What is the big deal with Starbucks? Do People have a need to go there to be seen? There coffee is ok, nothing special a lot overpriced. I mean $6.00 for a frappachino. It is very nice outside. We are sitting here after an incredible dining experience @ Elio's pizza. Great food, awesome service and owner

The employees at this Starbucks and the baristas are very friendly. They do go out of their way to give great customer service. They are patient with all the students that come in that are somtimes kind of loud. They are firm but nice when quieting them. You would think that the last thing the students need is caffeine.

All their drinks are absolutely divine either if you want to Frapuccino or iced coffee they're all great including smoothies and other fantastic beverages and snacks as well! The pastries are absolutely delicious little pricey but very worth it, and if you come regularly you can get a gold membership

Was in the area and decided to grab a coffee. One of the lady wasn't very friendly and seem to rush. The lady making the coffee was nice, but too bad the drink wasn't that great. Nice that they give discounts to the Childrens Hospital workers. Doubt I be back!

This is my fave Starbucks location ever due to the staff. It's true they remember what you order, not just daily addicts like myself but even my guests when they come through with me. They are usually quite quick, and always very friendly. The store itself is on the smaller side, but the four tables are not always occupied, they have a large outside patio, and they have a bathroom. I would have given Starbucks in general a one star rating, because I am pretty sure they put crack in their drinks, and now I am a certified Starbucks daily addict who needs come hell or high water. I spend all of my money here, nothankyouverymuch!

Right next door to Children's Hospital, so if I'm in here it's because I'm already having a BAD day - and looking for a "drink", not an experience. But since this whole street is lined with douchey bars and I still have my baby with me "drink" means something I can get in here. The staff is friendly and the drinks are made properly and quickly. And this place is lousy with heart of gold baby doctors. Just saying. In case you either want to know where to bring your kid for free medical advice or if you want to land yourself a doctor on the dating scene. Or both, hell, I'm not about judgement.

I visit this Starbucks on average 3-5times a week. No matter who is behind the bar someone always seems to know my name and my drink...they even know when the temperature is over 90 that iced is the way to go. I will say this is a grab and go place; its tiny and the I have had my bum bumped at the milk and sugar station but all and all they are reliable and friendly and that's good enough for me.

Okay, these ladies are the bomb! Especially Nicole, who greets almost everyone by name and everyone with a dazzling smile. Nice way to start the day. The others are equally nice and have memorized my drink. They don't rush anyone, they make a tasty vanilla latte, and no matter what, I get a sincere "see you tomorrow." In an age where customer service is almost non-existent, it is a real treat to see folks who actually like their job, and do it very well. I walk three blocks out of my way (and past another Starbucks) to get my coffee here.

Resources are scarce here. And by resources I mean outlets and tables. But, with a sharp eye and a little patience, there seems to be enough to go 'round making this SB a good place to be productive.

Friendly, efficient staff. This place is small, so not much room to sit. However, if the weather is good there is a large outdoor seating area.

I worked at Children's Memorial, so this Starbucks is the closest to the location. The staff are a great group of people. They remember the regulars and what their usual drink is. It gets crowded, so it's nice that they remember faces. My order has never been wrong. While they are in a good location, I'm sure that the place will be less crowded due to not having Children's Memorial there anymore. This might be a plus for people.

This Starbucks didn't have the cozy atmosphere I'd expect from a neighborhood 'bucks, especially one located right near a college campus. I needed to waste an hour before going to dinner next door so I brought my latest issue of Vogue. But there was very little seating area and what was there were uncomfortable chairs and unsturdy tables. The drink was fine, what you'd expect from Starbucks. But I've definitely seen better cafes near Depaul.

Why do dig this Starbucks? For 54 cents, I can bring my Hello Kitty travel cup and get a coffee refill before I head into work. It's so close, that sometimes, if I didn't snooze enough the night before, I go in for a second refill. That means I have to drink an additional 64 ounces of water, as to avoid dehydration. Yeah, cheap and decent coffee is a dangerous thing.

Worst experience that I have ever had at a Starbucks. I came in and asked for one of those boxes of coffee for a group. The woman behind the counter said that it was going to be 40 minutes. I looked confused and repeated 40 minutes? She said with a terrible attitude, "most people order them beforehand", "fine 30 minutes." I had just purchased one at a different store the day before, it took 5 minutes to get. She finally said, I can give you all the coffee that we have. I said that it would be fine. At the end she still had to brew coffee to fill my box. Everything she did was followed with a snarl directed at me the entire time I was there. For a place that only makes coffee, coffee is expected when you ask for it. I understand if you don't have it and have to make it but the way I was treated was terrible.

Today, this starbucks lost a star. All I wanted was a hot chai. What did I get? hot milk with enough chai flavoring to add a slight accent to the experience. It was like going to an amusement park, getting an overpriced hot dog, standing in line for a ride, then being kicked out because it's closing time. You know you were there for something, but it just didn't happen. It's showing your dog a biscuit, then taking it away, and then realizing you're the dog, and starbucks was you.

It does what a starbucks needs to do. Predicatable, lattes like you'de expect. This isn't one of those comfy starbucks with a fireplace and armchairs. Its a grab a go. But hey, I'm in it for a predictable, don't have to think about it, cup of coffee.
