I love love love this Starbucks. The staff is so friendly, Joy has to be the nicest employee there. Whoever makes my drink it always comes out so yummy! This has to be one of the cleanest Starbucks i have been to yet. Jake also has to be one of the coolest Baristas i have ever met . Love love love!

Standard Starbucks quality & service - I've visited this Starbucks several times and never had an issue. The location near North Park means that this locale is very busy and table space is often not available. I'm also not a fan of the high top tables - trendy, but not really what I'm looking for in terms of seating at a coffee shop. The shop is really too small to accommodate a large number of patrons, especially with so many university students using it as a study space. If you want to stay and work for awhile, this is not the place!

This is my local neighborhood Starbucks I usually would stop here when I was in school but now swing by when I need a pick me up. Everyone is spectacular. However, today Alex was helping me out and she was the sweetest asked how my day was, we chatted about summer plans, she's a darling. Thanks Alex!

This location is the best! Devin and Jake are so friendly. While I'm waiting in line (that always goes fast) Devin or Jake will have my drink already at the counter for me by the time u get up there to pay. They know exactly what I order. I pass another Starbucks on my way to go to this location. They go above and beyond at this location. These guys actually show they like what they do. Most of the customers I see in there know them by name as well.

My usual go-to starbucks since its across the street from NPU. Usually here early mornings when it opens at 5 to study for exams. I like it because it's quiet at that time and their music is always on point. Around 6:30/7am is when it starts getting busier. I try to never go when the high schoolers are out which is around 2:45/3pm just because they like to loiter. There is also a worker who can be rude but the others are fine. Other than that, this location is pretty good. They seem to almost always get my drinks right so for that four stars!

First time at this specific location. The food & drink are the same as expected. HOWEVER, the place was filled to the brim with what I can only assume to be North Park University students. So it had the similar "studious" vibe with students on laptops, writing papers and so on. However, there were also three pairs of lovebirds that were taking up valuable chair & table space. While I forced my self to wedge in between 8 people on the big table and work standing up, they were taking up 6 perfectly good seats and 3 tables so that they could smooch, hug, hold hands, and make out. Nothing against PDA, but if you aren't even drinking or eating anything and people have laptops in hand trying to get some work done, find another place to make out. Especially since their poor excuse of a university is right across the street with several buildings and enough space to waste their time. Frustrating.

The food is great-greasy and done on a fire grill instead of a gas grill. The burger meat is fresh, not frozen- seen it with my own eyes: ) Might wait but it's worth it.

This place is better and better every time! The fastest friendly and knowledgeable many of them have been here for a long time unlike other locations that have high turnover

Since I'm doing my master's at North Park, I'm pretty much a regular here- they have my order memorized (for the most part)! However, I do wish they had later hours. They close early for a Starbucks practically on a college campus (around 9 or 10pm I believe), when I'm sure many students would love to keep doing work there (and drinking more coffee) until much later.

...a usually place of travel I hit-up before work. I like this Starbucks most of all because of the great morning crew. They remember names/orders and most of all, are friendly, which is nice. Service is always fast. They have never messed up a order. This place is always clean, wifi always works (and is very strong even across the street), and everyone is usually here once during the school semester. I have had a few meetings here and while it can get cramped very quick, its still a nice place. Sometimes you need a little coffee, tea, or snack; NP's Starbucks is the way to go!

Good location with easy to find parking. Since its on the corner you could easily pull up, hit the hazard lights and be in and out quick. Not that locals appreciate you doing this.. Inside this store they make great use of this long dark wood shelf which does a great job to divide the room and makes me think, I too could use that in my place! Too bad they didn't have pricing info for me, but what they did have was a perfectly made Chai latte. Weird how each Starbucks makes drink after drink, differently.

I moved to the area about 3 months ago and was delighted that there was a Starbucks within a couple blocks. The store is maintained like most Starbucks' are - but I'm getting beyond frustrated that they keep getting my drink wrong. I have one drink I get from Starbucks - an extra dry vanilla cappuccino. They either forget the vanilla, add hazelnut instead, or give me a latte. I'm seriously disheartened. I've been in here when it's busy and when it's super slow and they consistently get it wrong. As a trained barista myself, I know that this is not a complex drink. I've told them when it's wrong and they either do the whole huff-and-puff while re-making the drink or they simply ignore me and pretend not to hear me. Was SORELY tempted today to just reach over the counter and get the vanilla myself. Will try them again - I need my coffee- but thinking from now on I'm going to ask to write my own cup instructions for them. (and I've now bought myself syrup online so I can just leave the next time they forget to put vanilla in it!)

Got a little iced coffee and met seemingly every dog in the neighborhood outside! Glorious day, made new friends! It is dark but clean, the baristas friendly, the space small but that is good because you can see the puppy outside while you wait for your order. As good as it gets on Sunday morning for a dog walk!

This is a very nice SB. I usually hit it in the morning on my way to work. I'd like to visit it in the evenings but it's too bad it's too small for such a perfect location for the school kids. You get a mixture of people there though, so don't fret about the kids. They behave perfectly and the service is great! Went there today since I've been on caffeine withdrawal. Had a perfect triple latte. I feel so good now. I think I'll go get my nails done with my BFF. Laters.

So I decided to stop here for my zen tea instead of my usual place on Clark street. I must tell you all, sometimes it not good to stray away from what you know. I always get tea from starbucks. It's always piping hot. Why does my tea taste like it came from a lukewarm faucet?! I'm irritated about my tea, so this is all I'm writing about this review.

I have been to this starbucks only once (so maybe I should give them 2 stars?) but their service was horrid and the drink they made me sucked so much I had to stop at another starbucks to had it remade.

Ahhh starbucks! I look forward to going there (compared to places like DD, it's a gem). My go-to drink (even though I'm not a big coffee drinker) would be the mocha cookie cream crumble (or something like that). The baristas are great and so is the atmosphere.

Small little starbucks, efficient staff, satisfactory drinks. They have a bigger selection of merchandise than a lot of the starbucks I've been to. Free wi fi! that's a plus. But I think what I like most about this Starbucks is the little drawings on the chalkboard with caricatures of the baristas working that day. Also, there was an adorable little drawing of a rabbit with a mustache taped onto the Tip Jar. Needless to say, I gave em all my quarters just for that. I always enjoy a coffee shop with some unique flair to it. :]

It's right across the street from campus which is great! The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for drinks when I was stumped. Plenty of indoor seating!

This is my local watering hole. It's right down the street from where I live, and right across the street from my school. I love the staff, they're all friendly, and they know their customers. They have a ton of great mugs and other merchandise. I love that they have a sale shelf, and an announcment board for community events. The only downside to this location is its size. The seating isn't very spacious, and ever since the free wifi went up, tables and chairs have been hard to get. Still this store has been good to me and many of my friends.

I'm a Starbucks addict, and this is one of my favorite locations. I used to drop by at least twice a week after school back when I was at Northside Prep. When I went off to college and came back 6 months later, the barista still remembered my favorite drink (caffè misto with the bold blend). That's some good service, no?

Of course it's just another starbucks chain, you can't deny that. However, it has a really great homework environment. They play great music that is nice for the background. It is also right across from my school, Northpark university, which is handy. I really wish it was bigger. But that's the city life I guess. Hope you like it!

My new favorite Starbucks. I did my undergrad at North Park and just moved back for my soon to be husband to do Seminary! I love this Starbucks because I always see familiar faces, and the people behind the counter are so friendly! I DO miss Tom Yum and Open Hearth, but I guess it's time for a new era of hang out spots around North Park!

Nice, friendly people with quick baristas. Parking out front for cars is usually available; a bike rack nearby would be nice.

This is a great and clean Starbucks. When you avoid the rush hour times (700- 930), there are usually plenty of places to sit and enjoy your drink. This is a favorite spot to study, and you often see many NPU students working at the tables there. The staff is very friendly and are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that you have the best visit possible.

Woohoo! Starbucks FINALLY opened in this 'hood about a year ago. I just LOVE Leslie especially because she remembers my order, knows my children's preferences and even sneaks decaf into my hubbies drinks when I'm not there to order for him (hee-hee!!!). Their birthday party is coming up soon and we will be there with ready to get the blood pumpin'!
