This has been my favorite Starbucks for work about two years now I guess. The staff are really great. The manager Katie keeps things moving pretty smoothly. My favorite employees are Sladjana, Meghan, Kiya, and Dan. The one positive with Starbucks that is consistent is the good mood and good attitude of the employees. Something I can generally count on. I believe that this particular Starbucks had the distinction last year of being, during peak hours, the busiest Starbucks in the Chicago area. I tend to "bond" with a Starbucks so I guess this is *THE ONE* until I change work locations again.

Typical Starbucks, but with a nice little seating area.

This is my everyday Starbucks. It's kind of like my version of Cheers. You know because "everybody knows my name." It's gotten so bad that sometime's they will have my grande zen or joy tea waiting on me. UGH! LOL! I love them all! The lines are kind of ridiculous in the mornings but it's a train station full of communters so that's to be expected. But for the business they get I think this place does a good job of getting everything done and everyone satisfied. I think in the 2 years I've been going here they've gotten my order wrong once. And when they did they fixed it immediatly. Greatest bucks ever!

Starbucks is Starbucks and consistent in delivery of its coffee drinks, but this location deserves at a few stars (and recognition) for its customer service. So far, I've probably been here at least ten times during the high traffic pre-work rush. The team here is well coordinated, organized, and ready to go! It will take the usual time to make your made-to-order drink but a simple coffee and breakfast sandwich is a breeze. Don't let a 10+ person line fool you. With three cashiers going, one employee refilling the coffee, one employee solely working on food and two baristas focusing on drinks, you'll be out in no time. Two thumbs up for this location!

The people here are so nice and friendly. You can tell that the employees get along with each other and have fun, but they are still very professional. The best part is they know my name! I have the weirdest name ever, and there was a point where I didn't go to Starbucks for a good 6-months, and when I came back, the store manager, Ny, still knew and remembered how to pronounce my name! One of the nicest, and speediest Starbucks I have come across.

Same great product, busy location, relatively small seating area.

The staff here just rocks it out on a daily basis. I work in this building and have never seen a more efficiently-run Starbucks. Even if the line is really long, they will get everyone moving quickly and do it with a smile, even during the morning rush. I've been to some Starbucks locations in the suburbs where it takes them 10 minutes to get me a basic iced coffee when the place is basically empty. At this location, even with several people ahead of me in line, I know I'll get my coffee quickly no matter what. Major kudos to the staff here for keeping me alive on the mornings that I"m half asleep and not making anyone wait too long for their order!!

Yep, it's that time of year again. That time of year where I can self-justify spending $6 on a freaking cup of coffee. That time of year where I subject myself to outlandishly long lines. The time I hate myself for caving in to the Buck. Pumpkin Spice Latte Time. The pumpkin spice latte is worth all the annoyances associated with Starbucks. Blonde chippies ordering their triple half caf soy cap grande, but in a Venti cup make me want to throw myself off a cliff. You know who you are. Stop with the super annoying orders. Also, The Buck has less than awesome baked goods. The bagel I had was rock-hard and unflavorful. Come for the pumpkin spice latte (skim, no whip - OH GOD. I'M ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE). Go elsewhere for pretty much everything else.

I'm down-grading this location now that I have seen others and know that the service and food here are less than stellar. First, stop trying to poison me when I ask for non-fat and no whip because I can't take the lactose and add whole milk and put whip on anyway. Also, please stop sending the person into the crowd if she will not relay my order such that I stand and watch everyone else get their drink and have to re-order at the pickup and wait another 5 minutes. Also, this place does a terrible job of clearing out the food and drinks from the grab-and-go area - often times things are past the expiration and my juice had a crack in the bottle the other morning. Add to this that they have no ability for paninis or breakfast sandwiches and I am just crossing the street to the Ogilvie station location. The only thing going for the place are two very friendly staff members.

This is somewhat of an oddly shaped Starbucks, which might be a problem during more crowded times of day, but I escaped the rush today and had a pretty pleasant experience. I sat happily outside with a friend for a couple hours, studying and coffeeing, and half expected someone to tell us to get up and go somewhere else (but they didn't!). I'll definitely return to this Starbucks on another sunny afternoon when I'm in the neighborhood.

I confess that I actually like Starbucks coffee. This isn't to say that there aren't better coffee shops around, because there certainly are, but Starbucks coffee is generally good and I can always find one. Every day I walk by at least a dozen Starbucks from the train to my work. This particular Starbucks seems to be well run and have a clue. They know how to make the new drinks and are always up with the latest promos. They are pretty efficient and can get you in and out quickly durning the busy times.

I do not like coffee, but even if I did, I would not like ordering it at Starbucks. Each time I visit(for my hot tea or cocoa), I feel like I'm in a bad IHOP commercial - you know the one...where people in Goucho glasses order the 'Rooty Tooty Fresh & Fruity' breakfast. Yeah, that one. I'm really torn on the rare occasion that I decide to visit a Starbucks - do I go the Rooty-Tooty route, or do I just order a 'medium hot tea' and throw a big ol' wrench in the gears? I almost always opt for the 'wrench' method. And, by almost always, I mean 3 of the 4 times I've visited a Starbucks in the past year - the other time, my wife ordered for me. This particular location is fine, though they seem a bit unwelcoming of those people (like me) that are not members of their exclusive 'Rooty Tooty' subculture. Come to think of it, I don't really need to go here again - I'll just make my own cocoa or tea, thank you.
