Go and have one of Zikkia's harvest cookies! Fresh, soft and tasty! Jaylen really knows how to take care of his customers. Will definitely come back to this location for that experience.

! worst salad I ever had ! I know Pret a Manager from London and since I had a great experience there, I wanted to give it a try in Chicago for lunch as well. Apparently there a major differences between the UK and the US because the salad I bought was the worst I had in years! It wasn't fresh, the avocado neither and the chicken chewy. Plus the balsamic vinaigrette came with too much vinegar for my taste. In summary I would rather go with Cosi or Au Bon Pain (both in walking distance) before I ever enter a Pret A Manger again in the US.

I thought this place was awesome. Great sandwich, good coffee, and the carrot cake was to die for. My first experience with this chain, and I can't wait to have it again. Huge thumbs up for the excellent service as well. So cheerful and kind and helpful!

Having lived in England for several years, seeing a Pret in the states made me salivate and almost break Olympic records in sprinting. Imagine my disappointment upon setting foot inside and discovering that the food was almost completely different. Drinks were so-so; my cappuccino was just okay while my friend (a chai freak) said her chai was undrinkable. Our sandwiches were okay, too. 3 stars solely for the brilliant manager. He was absolutely lovely and made my best friend and I free drinks when he found out it was our first time there. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. I was so excited to see a Pret, and then we felt way too bad to leave after the manager treated us.

Good products, I like their soup, all the fresh pastry, salads and sandwiches. It's a nice place to grab some quick lunch, and the terrace on Michigan Avenue is really cool. However I find it's a little bit to expensive for value.

I missed the lunch crowd thankfully so I could sit and grab a quick bite to eat. They were out of my favorite chicken noodle soup so I got my second favorite thing, the quinoa bowl. Before leaving though, I wanted to pick up a chocolate chunk cookie (my favorite here) for later. I paid, got my change, and waited for the woman to give me my cookie. She stood there like I was crazy but I kindly asked, "could I please have my cookie now?" She completely forgot and spaced out in the timeI was up there. Hmm. I think it was a sign that I didn't really need the cookie. I may just stick with my favorite location at the Merchandise Mart.

Loved this place !! I like to map things out before I go and Google maps was giving me the Adams location by Union Station. We kept walking towards the Art Institute and kitty corner from the museum is Pret. They are all over the Chicago area. (one at Target on State) We arrived around 11AM and the place was packed. I was surprised how small the seating area is at this location. We squeezed ourselves into a table for four and went to choose our meals. Pret A Manger was started in Europe and prides itself on fresh ingredients with sandwiches, soups, and salads, made fresh daily. I chose the chicken and avocado sandwich (I split with my younger DD, my daughter had the tomato soup and pesto grilled panini, and the hubbs had a baguette with chicken. Everything was delicious but very expensive. It was around $30.00 for the four of us to eat. I am surprised how much more expensive Organic is. It's a shame though because everything was so good. I think I would have gone with the salmon salad if it weren't so expensive. I didn't want to spend the nearly $9.00 for it. I can see how these stores are geared more towards the business people. I probably would have eaten here everyday if the prices were more reasonable.

Needed something light and while over in the area, this place kind of stuck out as somewhere to get that. Dropped in, was happy to see a salad selection and naturally went for a lobster salad. Wasn't happy to see a very limited and not so appealing dressing selection. The salad was ok, staff wasn't overly interested in telling me before hand that the dressings were included or where they were. Suppose if I'm in the area again and looking for something light, I may swing in and grab a different salad to or soup. Coffee was tasty though.

Just paid $10.66 for a mediocre ham sandwich and a pop. Sandwich conisted of bread, two slices of cheese, two thin slices of ham, some leafy greens, and mustard...and more bread. Hardly any ham at all. Glad I didn't get chips or a dessert, may have emptied my bank account! Quality and quantity not there for the price. Walk a block and a half directly south and go to Potbelly's. Will never return to "Pret."

Having stayed in the UK for a while, I loved grabbing quick lunch at Pret near the university. So, when I saw this near the Millennium park, I was super excited. I ran inside and got the basic mozzarella and tomato toasty along with the honey tangerine and green juice (apple, celery, and ginger, I think). The sandwich was nice and warm but it didn't taste anything like the UK branch's. I definitely think it's due to the differences in the food quality in UK and US. Even McDonald's is awesome in the UK. It was pretty good, but not super wow. The reason for the -2 stars is the bathroom.. The sink didn't drain the water properly so there was still residue from the previous person's usage, and there was no soap or a dryer/paper towels. That just grossed me out.. :(

Yes my sandwich was a little on the small side but I could really taste the quality of the ingredients. I really have no complaints about any of the items I've had thus far. I really like the chicken caesar with bacon sandwich and many of the breakfast items. They make good food.

Chicken Noodle soup hit the spot! Croissants are flakey good! Great service too!

So this location is interesting because I've been an avid customer of Pret in others but this one is the only one where the staff is trying to pull a fast one on me by having pots organized by 1.99 and 3.49 and then wanted to charge me 4.99 at the counter claiming that the sign was wrong. So I ask them why there are two pots with two signs and the correct sign is missing. The staff acted really rude about the situation and then said there was no manager available but when the manager walks in and sees the problem she sees the problems, moves the available signs that were actually out of order from the get go, and then fixes the problem... In less than 45 seconds I'll never come back, apparently cashiers want to take their mistakes out on customers... Because the organization of your store is not my fault, or my responsibility.

Stopped in for a quick snack between brunch and dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. My friend and I split the avocado salsa flatbread sandwich and we both had fruit cups. So light and refreshing. It's so rare to find healthy options while traveling, this place was perfect!

I come here a few times a month to pick up a quick lunch to go. They have good soups and salads. Occasionally I'll try their sandwiches but they can be hit or miss. Their Butternut Squash & Apple soup in the fall is great and the Seafood Bisque one is good too. I always try to go online and see what soups they have that week before going over since the ones they have on a daily basis don't really do it for me. A bit pricey for the quantity that you're getting but there's not a whole lot of healthy food nearby that it's competeing with. (think Cosi, Corner Bakery, Potbelly, Panda etc.) I'd give it 4 stars if it were cheaper because it is quick, easy, and normally pretty tasty.
