Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. This is the last time I order anything from Pizza Hut. I waited for over 1 hour and 45 minutes (the order was supposed to take 30 minutes) I had to cancel the order. The lady on the phone lied to us four times. Every time I called the store she said "the driver is just 20 mins away". I am extremely upset with this incident and will be writing reviews in other sites, so that other customers can see what I went through today. It is extremely unprofessional to have someone in your business lying to customers. I was a loyal PH costumer and even used your company for corporate events. You lost a great customer and a loyal patron. I wish there was an option for zero stars.

well. i got a pizza delivered, paid 26 dollars for my order and gave a decent tip. i ordered a cheese lovers pizza with extra marinara sauce, and the pizza came with absolutely no sauce. just cheese and bread. we called to let them know about the situation and the lady rudely let us know 'shes not the one who made the pizza so she guesses she can give us a 10 dollar credit.' thanks pizza hut im disappointed :(

I ordered half mushroom sausage, half Hawaiian stuffed crust. & mild buffalo wings just last night. It arrived warm and 20 mins earlier than the expected hour time usually given from Pizza Hut. The pizza driver was nice & the only problem with our order is that the buffalo sauce leaked a bit out of the bag.

Honestly. When ordering take into account snow storms and set your gourmet expectations aside. The guy with "identity theft" situation, that's justified. This is PIZZA HUT (fairly quick, relatively cheap, tastes OK). Use the on-line site and go pick it up yourself. Now, eat your food and try to relax.

Never had a problem with delivery or drivers, or food, but when it comes to the girl answering the phone usually at nights and I'm so lucky to always get her!! She is the most RUDE person, I ve worked in Customer Service for 8 years and I'm a customer service specialist at this point but this rude and disrespectful girl would get fired in 2 seconds at my workplace!! She is rude, you cant even call to ask a question because she proabably has the most miserable life!! She should go back to the Mental institution where she was released from. is the only Pizza Hut that delivers to me so I have to put up with the "descarnada" at pizza hut.

Not the best pizza place that I've been at, but then again not the worst. The online order was easy and easy to work with. Great pizza and was very tasty! For sure I'll be using this location again!

WOW. I don't think I've ever experienced worse customer service in the food industry! When I called to ask about the order we had put in 1:15 minutes earlier, the manager, Sabrina, was full of snide, sneering, mean-girl attitude. Granted I was not a walk in the park, as can be expected from a hungry patron that has been waiting a long time. But a manager that talks back to a customer with snide remarks and attitude is completely unacceptable. I will not lay the blame on the harried delivery driver, as our order was received piping hot when it came a full hour after our quoted delivery time (1:30 after order). The management at this establish must be smoking something if they think this kind of 'service' is acceptable. As much as I love quepapas, we will not be ordering from here again. ****** I shared my experience with Pizza Hut online, and the emailed me just now. Without my permission, the shared my contact information with the "store leadership team responsible for this restaurant". My complaint was about the manager, so they are sharing my contact information with the person I am complaining about! Just awesome! No wonder the place has such inept customer service. Here is the email: Please accept our sincerest apologies for your experience at one of our restaurants. Your comments do remind us of the constant efforts we need to make to satisfy our customers and the work we need to do to make our front-line staff a customer-oriented team. We have forwarded your feedback to the above store leadership team responsible for this restaurant. They will be in contact with you within the next 3 business days at the phone number or email address you provided. Thank you again for bringing this to our immediate attention. I am not ordering again from this place because the customer service is awful. If you have a problem with your order the so called mnaager argues. It is very frustrating to have to argue over a pizza.

If you want want pizza with wings on it side. Pizza hut can give you the best wings and the best pizza in a combo. The place was really neat, the crew did a great job on maintaining the cleanliness of the place. Great Pizza destination.

I love the food at this location. The main manager is always there and helpful for big orders. She is extremely nice and remembers my order each time and ensures that it's done right. The food is the best at this particular Pizza Hut and recommend it to my friends all the time! Thanks pizza hut

I'm not sure why I decided to put in another delivery order after my first one was messed up, alas, here I am! I can't vouch for the in-person dining/pick-up experience, but this evening's delivery was my second and my last. I wanted to give the new Pizza Hut spruced-up pizzas a try, since it looks like they finally woke-up and realized that they are being left in the dust by competition (which I will say their new recipe pizzas are leaps and bounds better than their old greasy-salt-shaker-heaven "pizzas"). Anyways, delivery arrived earlier than forecasted on their website, but once again the order was incomplete. Last time all of the marinara sauce leaked out, this time I was missing items, the mozzarella sticks were lukewarm (like they barely cooked them), and the chicken tenders were leaking sauce all over the place. I stayed away from Pizza Hut for about 6 years prior to these last two orders and it looks like I will be taking my money back to Domino's or Sarpinos for cheap-ish pizza/wings/pasta.

AVOID this particular Pizza Hut at all cost. They do not even deserve this one star because it should have been ZERO! I have to put up with the attitudes of the staff/crew here because I was not aware there was one very near me! Called to place an order, the guy who answered couldn't understand a word I said and so a lady staff (Rude sounding!) has to take over the ordering. I ordered 1 medium Hawaiian and a large veggie one plus pasta Alfredo with chicken. Went to prepare some tips and an hour plus after no one showed ever showed. Called several times to check and all I get are the rude answer from that lady staff today. Hungry, tired from work and frustrated, I called them to say I want to cancel and I want a refund. She flatly said NO. I called the Pizza Hut (Lawrence) near I am and spoke to the manager (Tony) who was very helpful and understanding. Reassuring voice and very polite. This is the customer service I have missed all these years! I will never order from that Pizza Hut in Pulaski/Foster ever again. The one in Lawrence will have my business. God bless that manager!

Ordered again today; this time online. Ordered 14 wings (Pizza too) Received 6 Call operator to find out the order says 8. 8--6? I don't even know how you can't count to 8. Driver shows up 30 minutes late (He was lost in the snowstorm so I forgive, yet it's Chicago so I won't since the Pizza is cold in result to this mistake) I think I'll pay this place a visit and hand out instructions on how to count to 10, better yet 20. Thank god the Sarpinos in Wrigleyville delivers here.

My husband called for delivery @7:25, gave incorrect cc info. Attempted to give another cc and the woman on the phone became extremely rude. Needless to say, we cancelled the order and went for Domino's. I called back and the woman hesitated to give her name. I asked to speak to the manager & she rudely replied she is the general manager with 3 other girls working there, and there is no owner to the store. At which I stated if she is the manager, then I would be concern with finding out who it was with no phone etiquette. At this point, she apologized and tried to take the order again but we informed her if we did we don't know if the food would be tampered with. Others have warned us to never order from here because of the rude service from the same "ethnic" girl. She finally revealed her name, Sabiha.

The Pizza Hut on Lawrence is my "zoned" delivery restaurant, but I'd rather come to this one because the employees are very pleasant and you dont have to pay for parking. I order the same thing about once every two weeks and my pizza is ALWAYS great. Last time however they gave me the wrong pizza and I had to wait until they made a new one although I had phoned in my order ahead of time. The manager, Mike compensated for the inconvenience and was very good about the mix up. I will continue to make the trip to the Pizza Hut just because of their excellent pizza and excellent customer service. Great Job Guy!!!

Sometimes just getting a pizza is not enough, especially if you identify yourself as a masochist. If this sounds like you, then look no further! The four and a half foot sadistic bridge troll that works behind the front register (and the phones!) will gladly berate you, humiliate you and act like everything you say (example: "Oh, can I also add pineapple to that?") is the single most irritating and stupidest thing she's ever heard in her life. No extra charge for this service! She will boss you around, sigh at any request she deems unusual, bark at you in front of the other customers and basically treat you like you are in her way and a complete inconvenience. My favorite part is when she rolls her eyes at me and sneers, I wait for it every time. I have had literally 20 bad experiences with this woman between calling in and picking up pizzas over a long period of time. I sat there waiting for my pizza today and watched every single person walk out looking like they just had their backsides examined. She never disappoints! I have no idea why she still has a job or who the genius is who thought she'd be a good fit to work with the public. I just know that if I need some shame with my dinner, I go for her. I admit that I have continued to go to this Pizza Hut because it's close to my house and I like being able to pick it up in 12 minutes instead of waiting for an hour for a delivery. I gave them one star today because the pizza they gave me tonight was just disgusting, along with the usual service. Rotten tomatoes on it, the thin crust had a lot in common with the box and was slightly burnt. I threw it out after a couple slices. So I'm done with this place. Troll lady, I'll miss you.

I hate to write a bad review, I really do--but I feel that it is important that people know what goes on at this location. Last night at 7:30 my friend and I decided we wanted to order the $10 pizza and two breadsticks deal, what a bargin we thought! (and it is, I can't knock that) The only problem was that they told us 30 minutes for delivery no problem. After 45 mintues go by, with stomachs grumbling, we decided to give them a call to see what the delay was. They said "the driver is two minutes away". Ok. Another 15 minutes we call again and we ask to speak to the manager. "Oh the driver is new but he will be there in literally 5 minutes." The pizza was finally delivered over an hour and a half later at 9:05 pm. What bothers me is that they lied, they could have said its going to be an hour and a half, but no, they lied in the beginning and lied every time we called. On top of that, no offers to give a coupon or a free order, no consolation what so ever. This was the first and last time I will ever order from Pizza Hut on Pulaski.

Its Pizza hut, nothing really to report. At times the food gives me that "Mcfeeling" that ratty feeling some get after having McDonald's food. This location has got all these bright red and orange signs, don't you love who makes their signs. Everything looks so super saturated with pizza ecstasy. One particular sign, its pepperoni pizza and the crust is filled with cheese and can be pulled off in mini bread stick chunks for dipping. And now.. I want one. They take web-orders! My food was ready in the eta (time) allotted. For those picking up, it sits right on a corner in the parking lot, adjacent to Jewel. This shopping area gets a high volume of traffic. While standing at the stop waiting to cross, I waited for too long. Though there was a stop sign, no one came to a complete halt to let me pass. It can be scary at night. Four stars strictly because the food was on time, signage is enticing.

The manager, Mike compensated for the inconvenience and was very good about the mix up. I will continue to make the trip to the Pizza Hut just because of their excellent pizza and excellent customer service. Great Job Guy!!!

I am not ordering again from this place because the customer service is awful. If you have a problem with your order the so called mnaager argues. It is very frustrating to have to argue over a pizza.

Worst customer service and food ever!! Manager is very rude and she doesn't get orders correct. Very disappointed and I will be complaining up corporate.

The last two times I ordered the pizza was warm at best when it was delivered. The cheese was not ben melted anymore. The first time I thought it was a fluke but I can only assume that it is the standard when I got my second one the same way. I will be ordering from Dominos from here on out.

I petsit nearby, and I've had nothing but good experiences with this Pizza Hut - especially compared to others. Fast, accurate, fresh.

Order online for cheaper prices and you don't have to deal with ignorant people.

It's ok. Not as good as they make it look on tv. Prefer domino's by argyle and Pulaski.

Not the best pizza place that I've been at, but then again not the worst. The online order was easy and easy to work with. Great pizza and was very tasty! For sure I'll be using this location again!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
