I happened upon this place by chance, I was looking for some Chinese food and wanted to try something different from my usual haunt. And after perusing yelp saw that this place had some really good reviews. Well I almost drove right past it but saw the sign at the last minute and pulled over to park. I have to say it looks very seedy on the inside, and they are strictly take out, no room to sit and eat there. Although I'm not sure anyome would of they did offer it. As a standard I am usually leery of places, especially Chinese food places, that don't allow to see their kitchen or their cooking process. This place has their menu and papers completely covering any vision of the inside and once I was able to get a glimpse inside there was a huge wall blocking the kitchen. In spite of all of this I still said I would give them a try. I ordered the orange chicken for myself and the shrimp egg foo young for someone else. And being a lover of egg rolls ordered two extra even though one came with each of the lunch/dinner specials. The prices are pretty reasonable even though the lady taking orders seemed to spout one price without ringing anything up and then a different price once your order was ready. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT come here if you have any sort of time table or anyplace to be at a certain time because it is not a factor for them. One lady said she was waiting for almost an hour for 2 egg rolls, and did not receive her egg rolls until she complained and stated that if it was ready she was just leave and cancel the order. Another came in after calling in her order an hour prior and still had to wait 30 min. Needless to say after witnessing this I was determined not to be waiting that long. After waiting about 30 min I received my food and was headed out and on my way home. The food smelled really good, or I could've just been really hungry. But after making it home I tore into the egg roll first, and thought it was really delicious. I was immediately glad I got the extra one. Then I began to eat my main course, I tasted the rice first which was really tasty, then I tasted the chicken. The first thing I noticed that it was extra spicy just like I like it, and it was done while keeping the flavor of the food, which was nice. But as I ate the chicken I got a mixture, of what you might ask, well of pieces that I knew for sure was chicken and other that left question marks. As soon as I got that feeling I stopped with the chicken and just ate the rice. I was told that the egg food young was alright but nothing to wrote home about. And they did not feel the same as I did about the egg rolls, it wasn't their cup of tea. After finishing my meal I told myself it was interesting trying a new place but I would be going to my usual spot in my neighborhood. Then about 30 min later I started getting a headache, that seem to keep growing with each passing minute. It got so bad that I had no choice but to take something for the pain. At first I thought nothing of it, but when my dining partner had the exact same symptoms at the same time, I began to wonder. Then I recalled that there were no signs anywhere that stated that they did not use msg in their food. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and will stick to the ones I know and love for now.

The best egg foo young ever. I also get the combination fried rice. Come for the food, be alert in the neighborhood. Menu hasn't changed in years, but when the food is this good why change perfection?

Wow, were to begin. It's the best Chinese food I have had for their price. They don't rip you off on the meat. My favorite is Mongolian chicken & orange chicken. Their lo mien noodles are really good I normally have it spicy but you have to ask for it. I don't live near here but when I'm in the area I surly stop by. I stumbled upon this place when I got lost and I got to say it does taste way way better than I ever expected.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
