I really enjoyed this salad shop. They had many different salad varieties and their salad of the day is a good deal. The teriyaki marinade on the teriyaki chicken salad was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I would return to this restaurant.

It's too bad this place closed. It was a nice little gem on the south side. Great food. I would have stopped in whenever I was in the neighborhood.

It was such a treat to find such a wonderful place like the House of Salads. My friend stays up the street and we ventured over there when they first opened. The menu has such a wide variety of salads and the best part I thought was the fact you could chose mixed greens or spinach and didn't have to have iceberg. Be prepared to wait because they make everything fresh! The Lulu Lemon Pepper Chicken Salad was so good. I cant wait to go back and try the blackened salmon salad. The people are very nice as well! Such a wonderful variation from fast food.

The food was pretty good I would go back, there was a misunderstanding about order on both parts but it was taken care of.

I am a salad lover, and have visited several places that specialize in salads. The menu was not very extensive. I expected way more ingredients than the traditional lettuce, veggies and meats. I ordered a grill chicken salad (forgot the persons namesake). They didnt have any fat free or low fat dressings. When i got home and opened it I was upset to find just iceberg (no nutritional value) lettuce. To me, a good salad has romaine, green leaf, or some mixture. Not a lot of chicken either. Hope they get better. I wont be back anytime soon.
