First of all, I don't get the obsession with owls. Are owl wings the bison of the chicken wing world? Well like all other exotic fried items they taste like chicken! So what's the point? My problem is the health and sanitation issues emanating from an open kitchen where refrigerators open so often that maintaining proper temps for keeping owl meat fresh is not possible, and the fryer areas and floors are slippery slopes of the literal and metaphorical kinds. Since I pass liquid owl within an hour of consumption I must assume something gets lost in the owl storage, prep and cooking process. The servers are dressed provocatively and the place should be named for their appearance instead of for the owl meat...say "Daisy Dukes".

The waitress seemed to had forgotten about us for a bit. I know it was packed inside so I let it go. After we got our order, the wings did not tasted as a had them before in other hooter locations. But we were starving so they were all gone afterward. After I had finished my beer, I had decided to go for a lemonade. She brings me another beer an had to wait another five minutes for a lemonade while others were getting food by her. Right before were about to leave, shes picking up the trays an the ranch drops on me when she was picking up the trays. Had better experience else were an im sticking to the hooters in melrose park an the one by ohare. Not coming back to this one

The best Hooters from all the ones I've been to. They're usually busy but the customer service isn't bad. The girls are always nice...if something was not okay they quickly fixed it and we weren't charged..to me that speaks volumes.......The food has been good the majority of the time... Close to expressway.....

I love hooters! I think I like this location better than the one downtown just because their a little bit faster and give everyone the same amount of attention (meaning not only giving all their attention to only their male tables). My favorite.....fried pickels! They make the best fried pickels I ever tasted...yummy!

I witnessed a girl fight. That will succeed to cheer on it's demographic and shy away those who are against it. Technically, more of an argument as two waitresses behind me screamed some stuff at each other. It was too loud for most people to notice the hostility. I had intended to never enter a Hooters, but as fate had it it was down the block from my hotel. This was my first and last time at Hooters because I am too much of a snob for this place. The bro crowd and bad puns, no, the crooked typeface and slogan that doesn't make sense, yes. "Delightfully Tacky, Yet Unrefined" That is the SAME THING! Rrr! ::uncontainable fist gesturing:: Anyway, the service was okay, usual nice waitress until regular big guy customers came in and were brisk. Also charged my mom for a side of blue cheese dressing that was supposed to come with her food. I suppose I would charge her too if I had to listen to an almost senior citizen ask why this place is called Hooters and why do they have pot bellies. I gleefully found out they don't wash the plates, they just wipe them and give them to you. Now I admit I hate this kind of environment. Maybe something about shiny leggings or bad freshman year t-shirt feminism that stuck, I don't know. But we did spend a good amount of time wondering if our waitress' hair (though kind she was) was her own or the top end of a broom. And playing She Will Be Loved only made it kind of sadder. But I can look blindly past it for edible food. I did not get that. My chicken sandwich was so oily I didn't dare finish. Even the mozzerella sticks were measly & questionable, I was rather ill after eating here (and believe me, I can consume food combinations that would make some people smack me in the mouth). My mom thought her soup was okay and I was subdued by finally having drinkable coffee and having milk to put in it (damn hotel). And thanks for making my mom able to exclaim "I wouldn't have hooters for breakfast!" Good to know.

Love the wings here!. Just tried the honey thai chili wings!. Amazing!. The buffalo shrimp are great!. Great curly cheese fries!.

I love hooters! The birds, the babes, the wings! :D Usually the frat boy image of wings and sports game and beer is the last thing I want to participate in but Hooters I never can stray from! Women, good drinks, always a fun time. I wish there were more locations at least one in Andersonville would make me very happy. I've had these amazing shots that are a private collection only the employees know, which should be shared happily to the public. Oh Hooters I can not wait to indulge in to many wings and yummy beverages.

I've been to numerous different hooters all over the world and this is probably on my bottom 3 on my list. Wings were close to room temperature and so was the curly fries, and When I saw the bottom part of my plate covered in oil? bleh...... I wasn't hungry anymore. Our server was nice and attentive but the food sucked ass. 2 stars!

On the way to the airport. I actually got off the freeway to go to outback but it was closed. I needed a place to sit ans work on my computer. This worked fine. The food was very hooters like, the service was very good.

I usually love hooters not just for the cute and sexy ladies but for the tasty wings and buffalo sauced shrimp. But this location is terrible in food and service. We came here the day after my hubby's birthday june 5th and I regret bringing him here the food was mediocre. For appetizers we ordered the mild boneless chicken wings, and mild buffalo shrimp when the waitress brought back our food it looked ok but the taste was the most bland and dry tasting chicken and shrimp I ever had! I called the waitress back to the table and told her about my disappointment with the order and how my food needed more flavor I also made a comment about the "mild" tasting chicken and shrimp and how there was the absence of sauce and the waitress told me "thats how they come"... me think not! on the picture the chicken doesnt look dry so why is it here? Well any way she took the wings back and had them cover it in some of the buffalo hot sauce which tasted watered down. My BBQ bacon cheese burger was very mediocre was not well seasoned and the bread was hard my curly fries were not seasoned the best thing of the night was the celery sticks other than that me and my hubby will not return and fellow yelper stay away... oh also when we left the rude waitress that thought she was too cute to see how are food was and to refill our drink made a statement like "now that you all are gone I can go home" What kind of comment was that? we can care less what, who, when. and where you go home to I felt that was very disrespectful we did not make you choose this job you could have left anytime... but go to another hooters because this one dont deserve your business!

I love hooters wings. This area becomes pretty crowded on the weekends.. because I think this location and the downtown area are probably the only 2 locations around the area. Parking can be a pain if you get there late on a day when there's a game or just on a weekend (at night). The wait can be pretty ridiculous too. Service is always fast, waitresses are friendly. I come here a lot and haven't had any problems with service or food orders.

I love Hooters wings! I like the drier wings more than the tossed and saucy kind. Shoot, I've been craving Hooters for the past few weeks. 6 Medium wings and loaded tots, please! This is my go to Hooters spot. Mainly because its the closest location, and I know most of the people that go here. The waitress/staff are really nice. It does get packed, though. It gets annoying to see a table with 8 chairs or a big booth occupied by 2 people when there are a bunch of people waiting. The parking lot is way to small, I wish that we could take advantage of the bank and/or hotel parking lots next door which is empty when the bank closes. I wish that one day, there will be a Super Hooters. 2 levels, with space in between the tables, and an actual waiting area. That's the dream.

I will be good and give a good review when its earned. I just keep in mind at this place they don't really tend to you if you are alone. Come in with a friend or multiple friends and they'll make sure you are taken care of. The girls are pretty but not always the nicest.

  • Jason N.

The good: Like the wings and the numerous sauce options, and the seasoned fries with lots of ranch are quite enjoyable. The drinks aren't that expensive, and free refills on pop. As the great Al Bundy would say Hooters Hooters Yum Yum Yum. The bad: Bathrooms are disgusting, mosquitoes and all. Wouldn't trust anything besides wings here. The parking lot can be a hell hole. While the servers are nice it can be a bit slow. I debated between a 3 and 4 star review since hooters does have good wings, but the outhouse like bathroom and the fact you have to pay for ranch knocks it down a star. at $10 for 10 wings you shouldn't be nickel and diming folks who wants some dip for their wings, you should at least include one! Shame on you Hooters!

I was in the neighborhood with a friend and we had a craving for wings - what better place to go right ? so I thought. My friend ordered 10 traditional wings, I ordered 10 boneless wings. The boneless wings were literally bite size. I was disappointed to see that the boneless wings were much more expensive than traditional, yet the portions were even smaller. As the menu described the boneless as pieces of chicken breast, I couldn't help but think of how small the chicken would have to be for this tiny little pieces to be part of a "chicken breast" -- I was picturing little baby chicks! ewww! Service was ok. nothing to rave about, however the waitress could have came back around and asked how everything was going rather than coming to the table to take my order, drop the food off and then at the end, drop the check off. Its not like it was busy. pfffff any neighborhood bar probably makes better wings than this. WEAK Hooters! WEAK! I expected a little more than that

Now for an occasional(well, scratch occasional) guilty pleasure of mine....Hooters! For this particular location(and the crowds it gets), the service here has been quicker than I've expected it to be once you get seated, and I've been lucky that the groups I've chilled here with have only once had to wait for a table. Albeit I'm sure that waits for tables do occur here often for evening rushes, due to the fact that this is the busiest Hooters in the Chicago area. Ironically, I've usually gotten burgers or something seafood-ish on their menu, and not the wings. The oysters and crab legs are pretty decent, too, not to mention you don't find oysters or crab legs served at just any place. :) (and unlike the Hooters girls, that isn't a gimmick!) I think I'll agree with others that the service here could be better, but that it isn't the worst I've experienced anywhere either. Best to say service-wise, they're hit or miss(and really, their appearance aside!). Finally, I'll have to admit that I prefer the staff, crowds, and ambiance at the Melrose Park location, over this one(aside from the fact the TVs are much more strategically placed here).

How about I may not ever go back to this Hooters ever again!! Today we waited over an hour for our food and instead of receiving food we were given the bill!!! WTF!!! The bill? Are you serious? I have not even eaten yet and you are already kicking me out the F'ing door. The manager comes over and tells us that they are really busy and that he was told we asked for the bill. Dude get off the short bus who asks for the bill before they get the food? Anyway they took 25% off of our bill and our food came to us cold. Verdict: NOT!!! Ever again!!!!

I've been to several Hooters back home in Los Angeles and Orange County and this location needs some serious upgrading. The exterior makes it look like an old diner/dive. Aside from that, the food is so-so. I typically get several flavors of wings and I was disappointed that they didn't have a plethora of sauce options that I have been used to. On my last visit, it seemed like there were no sauces on the wings at all, as if I had ordered them plain. Had the chili fries and it was good while it was warm. The service we had was alright. The girls just seem to get chatty and talk about random stuff (ie non work related). And just a side note, if your girls do decide to do this, don't chat about it in front of your guests to hear! We ended up waiting much longer than needed for our check because of this.

Food is good, as are the beers - can't miss the great hot wings with a nice cold one. Its a bit noisy here, just like any other Hooter's, and lots of TVs to watch a game or two. The Staff is lacking in execution and speed, but at least they manage to give us our order most of the time. The Hooter's gals, well, they are okay, but its nothing like the gals over in the original location, Florida. But hey, I am not complaining, too much... But at least they make a good and consistent chicken breast sandwich... Update: Just went there recently with a few other friends, and we got good service and food exactly what we want despite the fact the six of us ordered 100 hot wings. Tasty and satisfying, and waitress was cool too. Must had a bad waitress in the past. Can't upgrade the rating, well maybe I can, after a few more trips. Still very decent, way better than teenage run places like Applebees...

So i get that you don't go to Hooters for unbelievable service, but c'mon, at least be able to take my order, serve my food, and have me on my happy way. Noooo, not here. Always have a problem with the service, it never fails. So the last time, we were able to get our wings and drinks no prob. She never checked on us after the initial drop off of the food. Had to flagged down another girl to ask for refills and what not. She then took her time with our check, finally got our check and after 15 mins she was still no where to be found. After a quick glance around the room, I found her where they kept the fountain drinks chatting it up with her coworkers (mind you, the restaurant wasn't that busy at that point). I was fed up so I decided to take my bill to the register. The girl behind the register wouldn't ring me up, apparently my waitress had to ring me out. So waited once again just so she can grab my waitress. Not worth talking to mgmt, I feel that every time we get crappy service we do, but nothing has ever changed. So we've opted for take out now since this is the closest Hooters to us. Don't want the below average service to interfer with my Hooters wings devouring =)

so, me and the bros decide that, for a classic bros' night out, we'd hit up hooters. i'd never been. BAD IDEA. the waitress, though kind and tolerant of our teenage horniness, had no idea what she was doing. after ordering a hell of a lot of "hot" wings, she delivered about 60 dry wings. dry. wings. what the hell. so i ask for them to be tossed in sauce. she comes back... with dry wings. long story short, i'm never coming back.

Just like someone stated earlier, we received the bill way too early. That's just rude. This is the dirtiest restaurant I've ever eaten at. Worse than some of the crappy food joints in the city. The bathroom was disgusting, we had just arrived and the moment my friend and I left the washroom we mouthed to each other, "Never again." I saw the back of the kitchen as we walked in, and as someone who has worked at a restaurant before... it was FILTHY. The metal counters looked greasy and there was napkins and trashed scattered throughout the grimy unwashed floor. The workers just ignored it and stepped over it, no one seemed to be cleaning up. While we were eating our food, our waitress sat and hung out at the bar. She should be cleaning up the washroom or the kitchen for godsakes. What a DUMP. The wings were floating in lard. (We know it was lard because of the way the oil was congealing on the sides) and the curly fries tasted like freezer fries. They weren't even hot. Just cold and "starchy". Like the kind of texture you get in your mouth after eating day old McDonalds' fries. The Hooter's I went to in Oakbrook was so much better than this. Never ever again.

Their wings are number one. I do not think I have had better wings anywhere else. Many place come close (Wing Stop) but none can top the TMI (Three Mile Island). Also, the chocolate cake for desert is very, very good. Their bleu cheese is so good I could drink it. They also sell their products at grocery stores; look for the Naturally Fresh brand. Regardless of their reputation I take my family here all the time for food; including my 2 year old son, newborn, and my wife.

I've been here several times because of its convenient location but have been disappointed most of the times I've been there. I wouldn't recommend them for a quick lunch as their service is incredibly slow. Seriously, how long does it take to cook some chicken wings? The food isn't even that good and tastes stale.

I just went tonight had a Dozen raw oysters on the 1/2 shell they were great. The Boneless wings came out luke warm & I thought rather small, But tasty I got a great Hooters bear bottle snugly 4.00 bucks Fair I thought

Hooters is about as fun as the waitress' uniforms are stylish. I mean, it's possible tan pantyhose and white scrunch socks will be back in soon; fashion is cyclical after all. I also couldn't shake the feeling I was in the real life version of 'Married with Children'.

The WORST bloody mary of my life. YES MY LIFE! How can you screw up a bloody mary? Mediocre food, terrible beer selection, and a structure that is falling apart. GREAT server. Humurous, smart, attentive, laid back and fun. She gets the two stars. Hooters 00!

Just came back from a lunch at your Hooters on Higgins. We just moved to this area, I can tell you we will not being going back to Hooters. We used to have lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings where for 7.99 you could get a chicken sandwich, wrap, or boneless wings with ranch dressing and celery /carrots, fries and a drink. Hooters charges for a drink and we just found out ranch dressing is extra and waitress would not take it off the bill we would not have ordered it if we knew. The 6 boneless chicken wings came out the size of the tots, pretty sad! They were so dry and not much chicken mostly batter. The store manager was busy arranging the shelves of the merchandise they sell. He spent the entire time reorganizing an already organized inventory. He should have been talking with the customers - or maybe he already knows the food is horrible. Maybe people who work in the area don't really care what they eat they are there for the show. I am not looking for anything free - I just want you to know I will not be back. Hopefully you will increase the quality of chicken so you will keep your food business if that is even important to you.

I love hooters mainly because I think they have the best chicken wings, cool environment and creepy old businessmen to laugh at because it's obvious they are mainly there to try and hit on the young waitresses. It's definitely an experience.

What can I say about this place, other than the fact that it is a favorite that my girlfriend and I go to. I came here with her on my visit back from school because I was craving some Hooters wings, and let me tell you, they tasted like heaven! Not to mention, having the unlimited soda and the Mexicurly Fries was a great eating extravaganza. We both left full, satisfied, and happy. This is a great establishment that is run very well with excellent service and a nice atmosphere.

food was slow but good. went with the chipotle bbq this time on drumettes w/blue cheese and a side of fries. I love this sauce, more than the original. We ordered pitchers of Amstel and I'm pretty sure they brought us Miller, yet charged for the Amstel. Horrible ambiance (I mean I know it's hooters but come on....) way too loud in there for dinner time. If it were like 10 PM that's one thing.

I am going to talk about the service -- the food was great, as usual, but my comments is about the service at this location! I went there on 08/10/2010 around 8:00pm -- it was NOT BUSY for a Tuesday evening. I thought that the service would be great, like other locations, such as the one in Schaumburg, but this location was the TOTAL OPPOSITE! Our waitress was missing most of the time and was lazy. Example: we did not have enough forks after she gave us our appetizers, we were hoping that she would come back, but she didnt. My fiance had to get up and ask another waitress, which she was nice enough to get one for us. It took about 1 hour to get our wings (which I do not understand why it took long). Since the waitress was practically missing during the dinner, I had to request another waitress to get our waitress so we can ask about our food. This was probably the worse service I received from Hooters. The waitress was around more though when it was time for the bill to come... I am a very disappointed customer and will never go back to this location again....

this one's my go-to hooters spot. i think it needs a bigger and upgraded everything. tvs, bar, dining areas. they should take notes from the one in dallas. that one sets the bar pretty high. i've tried the naked wings. not a fan. i don't think i'll ever go back and try those again.

Ha-Ha-Ha- Hooters. Oh yeah. I went here Sunday night for some post-hockey action (there's nothing like hockey and Hooters). To my utter shock, this place was PACKED. This bumpin' on a Sunday night? We had to wait for a table but I didn't mind since the bar area is usually where all the magic happens. . . The bartender wouldn't let us start a tab because "people sometimes walk away." Um, OK. I didn't shower that day but I didn't think I looked like THAT much of a scumbag. Wait, silly me. All I had to do was look to my left to see some fine examples of beer-stealing perps - three WASTED, middle-aged dudes hitting on the Hooters waitresses. One even said "Tell that bitch to back up" under his boozified breath. That "bitch" was me. REAL classy. I wonder why he was at Hooters on a Sunday night alone, with two other dudes. Hmmmm? After a 20 minute wait we left those obnoxious losers behind and sat down. The menu is pretty much what one would except - lots-o-wings. But alas! They added fried pickles to the menu? VERY cool. Some of the BEST fried pickles ever. You can quote me there. We ordered hot wings and non-breaded wings (in some attempt to be healthy. I do not recommend this. If you're going to "go healthy" Hooters is not the place). Those regular, breaded hot wings were right on target. I also had a mango margarita - tasty indeed. The overall service was outstanding (besides the no-tabs-please bartender). Those hot pants though, ouch. They do not really flatter ANYONE (unless you have the perfect bum).

Coming here reminded me why I stopped coming and an even better reason to never come back. Sure it's nice to look at the waitresses but to tell you the truth I thought this chain would have died out in the 90's. The boneless wings are pathetic, and the fries tasted as if they were reheated in the microwave. The main reason I came here was cause my friend and I have on the search from some good curly fries and as I reiterate what I said this places isn't the greatest and isn't worth the time and money.

My favorite of all the Chicago area Hooters. Best atmosphere, cutest girls, just a great place if you're looking to hang out with the guys. I love the spicy shrimp!! The summertime car shows are a nice bonus since I'm into that sort of thing.

    (5)
  • Eric W.

Good "bar" food. Decent looking gurls, like they now have a full bar. Good place for the guys n I to catch a game but they want you to come and eat then leave, not a hang-out sort of place...

It's been quite a while since I've stepped foot into a Hooter's. Last night, I met a few friends out and was quite surprised by the clientele. I was expecting a whole bunch of dirty old men, but instead saw families, retirement age couples & lots of females. The place had a nice vibe too it. All the servers were really accomodating & friendly and the food was actually pretty tasty.

  • Allyson D.

Service was extremely slow. Waited OVER 45 MINUTES for wings. This sucked even more because we were en route to a Bears game, and we didn't get to tailgate as long. Children screaming in the restaurant. My friend and I were the only females there - the rest of the place consisted of leering 40+ year old men all over the place. I know some people think that is 'stereotypical' Hooters, but the one in Orland Park has a mixed crowd and doesn't feel sleazy. I'll never understand the scrunched up tube socks and dirty gym shoes uniform, but I'm not taking points off for that, because it is standard uniform. However, the service sucked and the people inside were creepy.

I've been to this place many, many, many times!!! And I absolutely love this place. Tammy is always my favorite, Diana is getting a lot better, 1 or 2 girls were not so good but I'm glad they're no longer working there. My advice, if you like any waitress, you can always ask for her service next time if you are willing to wait!!!

  • Dominic R.

I haven't been to this place in years. Not much has changed except the girls now can wear black shorts or black t shirts! Why does every friend from out of town, want to go to Hooters? Oh well, nothing was going on that night so we went to catch the Bulls game & grab something to eat The food really is nothing special. The buffalo shrimp is good, the wings are "ok". But we know most don't come here for the food! right? I have grown up and no longer order "pitchers" of beer so the Hooters girl can pour my beer for me. I hate tap beer so i'll just take my Miller Lite in a bottle. The place is usually crowded, since it is near the airport. The girls were "good looking" but a few, well...eh....no. You get your "i just turned 21 year" crowd who must know the girls that all work there and you get your old dirty men who think they have a shot! Overall, i have nothing against Hooters, i think the food is average but it's a good place to watch some games, have some food and get a little eye candy to look at!

I came here with an all female group. Our waitress was super standoffish, not attending, and overall rude. It was like she was a Mean Girl...only it's real life and the joke is on her when we equated her attitude to a dollar value and subtracted that from her tip. Tasty food tho. Nuff said.

    (2)
  • Mary May S.

I go a few times a year and for the most part it's pretty good. I took my son there once and he ordered a burger that came completely raw inside. The waitress apologized for it and gave him another, well done burger. She took it off the bill too. All in all, good place, great wings.

Ok so giving these girls even one star is over rating them. I have worked in customer service for ten years now, and I understand how having a bad day can really affect how nice somebody can be. I do not look to have any one treat me like roalty, but to be treated like I am a complete inconvienience is unacceptable. I understand the "sexy" vibe these girls are supposed to give off but just incase you girls do not know what sexy is, its not being snobby and acting like your better than a customer. I really think Management needs to crack down on these girls and get their act together. The group that I was with was incomplete shock and quite insulted to say the least. Girls get over yourselves, you work at Hooters. Please do not pretend like you are anything above that. To the other girls that were nice, thank you so much.

I'd have to agree with Nate C. Nicole was terrible! I still love Hooters wings, so I will continue to come here, but just as long as I don't have her as my waitress! Other than that, this place typically as pretty good service. Its definitely a hit or miss. The buffalo shrimp is also awesome.

Girls in skimpy outfits + Chicken Wings = Hooters! I like Hooters and not just because they have cute servers wearing skimpy outfits. The food is really quite good; in fact I was rather surprised! I absolutely love the chicken wings they're incredibly addictive. They have a respectable selection of Beers and drinks from the bar and menu also has a sufficient selection of items to fill your belly. Good place to with some friends after work for wings and fun. Pros: Chicken Wings, Cute Servers, Lots of Parking, Right off the Kennedy Cons: none Overall Rating: 4 of 5 Recommendation: Recommended

I go to Hooters for the food ... Anyone ... Seriously. Honestly , I am a grown man , I have a buck or two , I wanna see flesh , I can hit up a strip club. For the uninformed , and you would be surprised how many uninformed people there are , Hooters big gimmick is the waitresses dress up in orange short shorts and tank tops, WOO Woo , racy. To be frank , the waitresses aren't the most efficient lot of waitresses I've encountered , but they're usually always friendly. The kitchen is ALWAYS slow , really slow , even when there is no one there. There is a newer bar setup that makes mixed drinks now in addition to your standard beers. The food is really good , I've eaten here alot , since high school actually , not this specific location though. I've had the chicken wings alot , from mild to nuclear hot (I prefer the mild and add my own hot sauce to taste) and I love the wings. I also love the buffalo shrimp , same sauce order. I have recently reintroduced myself to their raw oysters , and they do them as right as anywhere else , tasty. This is also one of a surprisingly few places that have steamed clams , a personal favorite , and great here. The steak sandwich is great , the burger really good. There is also a decent variety of tasty desserts , from cheesecake to key lime pie , I rarely make it to dessert but these are good. All this goodness , decent prices , and a large menu that I still haven't ordered half of even though stuff sounds good. Go here , watch the game , enjoy friends , the ambiance is a plus.

Oh yes, I come here for the hot women. Actually, some of them are kind of flat chested and look like they are 12 - not what you would think a Hooters hiring manager would choose, but the wings are great here! I crave them, almost on a every other week type of basis. It's bad when you are trying to lose weight, and it's a great work lunch spot. I'd avoid going at noon to miss the lunch hour rush. I would definitely not recommend them to go. When they are hot off the table, they are really good. It almosts tastes like a buttery good, and when it's spicy - what a lethal combination. After you have an adequate sting in your mouth from the hot sauce, that nice cold beer goes perfect together. Even the ranch dressing just tastes so rich. Oh, the buffalo shrimp ain't bad either. I've just now become a sucker for Hooters. Maybe I should consider working there to get a discount... Oh that's right - I'm not flat chested and I don't look like I'm 12. Shucks!

Good food, good service, sometimes crowded parking lot, full liquor, and not to mention the best wings in town....

Went here with about 12 co-workers for a going away lunch. Everything was great, we all ordered our food and drinks, everything was brought to us fast and effecient. We ordered the chicken wings without any breading and they were really really good. They were more of a dry rub. I would go back again and get these again. The restuarant is clean and you can tell it's pretty much like every other Hooters Restaurant, they are all the same.

hate. hate hate hate. hate. i have never been to another location so i have no basis for comparison but i hate this place. i usually opt for boneless wings or the chicken patty sandwich and both taste like they've been frozen because when you bite in oil/water kind of drips out its kind of gross. not like i am anti-frozen but for your prices and charging extra for ANYTHING (slice of cheese, more ranch, etc) it should be higher quality. i have never met a waitress there i can say i clicked with or enjoyed service from. most places you build a rapport with a server or something, but no, these girls are pretty cut and dry, don't really have time for you (unless youre the out of town frat boys in the booth behind us who she sat with and discussed her tiny hooters shorts with, then the boys actually bought some shorts and she put them on our check instead). our waitresses are always pretty awkward. a lot of people go to hooters for the experience/ambiance but it's pretty much a let down, also i dont drink beer and they dont have any liquor specials. i guess they cater to the male clientele but consider us girlfriends/wives too please :)

This was my first time trying hooters and I hate to say that it didn't live up to all of the hype. Our order consisted of 20 wings, both of hot bbq and the medium flavored. We also ordered two beers. Pros: Our server Michelle was great, she was prompt in bringing us our food, beverages, check, and checked in on us a few times. My revolution anti-hero Ipa was great as usual. Cons: The medium wings looked unappetizing. The tray that they came in had a pool of oil and what I assumed to be "seasoning" at the bottom. The medium wings had absolutely no heat to them. My initial bite and all of the following consisted of a heavy oil flavor which lingered throughout the rest of the meal. The hot bbq wings tasted significantly better than the medium wings. Although I felt they lacked some heat as well.

I was surprised how quickly they were able to find a table of 4 for dinner, as most of the time this place is packed...I usually enjoy ordering just the chicken wings everytime I visit! This time we ordered Fried pickles, Bbq bacon cheddar burger, Buffalo chicken sandwich with teriyaki sauce, medium, hot and Chipotle garlic chicken wings!

I've been a long time Hooters customer and visit the Cumberland location a handful of times a year. Unfortunately, the wings tend to be inconsistent when it comes to flavor, hot isn't always hot, etc... On my most recent visit the drumsticks seemed to double in size. Not always a good thing. They were mostly fatty and were sitting in a pool of grease. Hooters is always a great place to get together with "the guys" but good food always trumps convenience. Pick your game up Hooters!

Even though I've been dining at Hooters for many years, I don't think this is the first time I'm writing a review about them. I grew up with an interest in filling out comment cards from hotel guest rooms and restaurant tables. Hence, my interest in Yelp! My boyfriend and I drove to meet a friend who had never been to a Hooters restaurant. The place was surprisingly busy for a Monday night without a NFL game on. The room was littered with NHL, NBA, UFC, US Open Golf and College Football so there was no shortage of sports on TV. I may be giving you the wrong impression about how often we come here. Honestly, it's infrequent at best and one of the last times we were here, I didn't think we were ever going to return. From outward appearances, there is nothing spectacular about this place that differenciates it from any other Hooters. They are all stuck in a time warp: especially, their uniforms. It is not flattering on some of their staff members and there's more... The managers deserve 3 stars. I'm proud of them for giving their staff members equal and fair opportunity to be a Hooters girl, hiring them based on their qualifications and personality, not by weight and stature. These girls don't need to be exploited or made to feel uncomfortable with how their uniform fits them, just the opposite. I'm sure it affects how other customers may treat them and that is grounds for emotional blackmail in the workplace. In general, Hooters gets ONE star for terrible food. Their menu is stagnant. I would give it zero stars but I can't ignore Tator Tots with Cheese Dipping Sauce or their Hot Shrimp appetizer. Ever since I saw the episode of Undercover Boss, I am disgusted with Hooters and Coby Brooks; this gives me pause... I don't want to plagiarise my own revew so please refer to the Tilted Kilt in Roselle or Twin Peaks in Wheeling, thank you! I give every one of their male and female employees, with the exception of the one who made us think about never returning, 5 stars. Thank you for bending the rules and having more employees like our server whose name tag I couldn't read. Our apologies to the slender, 5'4" petite waitress with long, straight brown hair and glasses. You are pretty but your genuinely warm personality, good sense of humor and incredible patience with our friend's tardiness exemplifies what it means to be an employee in the hospitality industry! Hooters, Tilted Kilt, Twin Peaks... you are a restaurant. Your food better be good. If your concentration on giving all the girls your attention, you should convert to strip clubs. That's their concept and crappy food is not served and some don't even allow alcohol so you don't even need to worry about a liquor license!

Enjoyed Hooters wings many years ago, but was a bit disappointed this time around. Perhaps because when I first had them, buffalo wings were harder to come by. Now, many restaurants carry them and maybe they're a bit less special. Still tasty, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for them here.

VERY weak drinks!!! Ordered the Rip Roarin' Rum Runner with no pinapple juice. It was supposed to come with an orange and cherry garnish, but instead, I got a solo lime that looked like it was in a bar fight! Plus, I HATE limes! There was also supposed to be a Rum floater, but that was missing. It actually looked like someone took several sips of my drink before I got it because it was not a full glass! Also, stay away from the Hooters Nachos, they are garbage!!! The nachos taste exactly as they look- boring and unappetizing! The nacho chips are flavorless, the nacho cheese is bland and the guacamole needs salt & onions. Everything about the nachos, except the chicken & jalepenos, is bland. VERY DISAPPOINTING and a waste of money!

Came here recently with my boyfriend because we had a craving for wings, and it was the closest location. I haven't been here in about 3 years, and I am glad I haven't. The wings and fries were disgusting. The fries were undercooked, and both the wing and fries tasted like they were under the heat lamp for hours on end. The food was so horrible that I only ate 2 wings even though I was starving. To top it off we ended up paying about $50 for it.. definitely not worth it. The staff was very unfriendly too, what because we were a couple and you couldn't flirt for tips? Yea, no need to be nice or check if everything was ok.. The only good thing about the experience was the liquor. Won't be coming back..

I can't say this is the fairest review as I haven't been to a Hooters in forever and a day. I have gone to the competition so to speak and had given mixed reviews of my experiences. So here goes: I like the location, the girls are hospitable and drink prices are better than I thought. Why is the bar so close to the kitchen?!? I would typically be visiting after work so I'd be alone, and therefore sitting at the bar. It's nice to have plenty of chances to watch the cooking staff do their thing, other than the noticeably outdated & small HDTVs behind the bar, but the overwhelming reek of frying oil had chased me out a bit earlier than I'd have liked. Is this a typical bar setting at other locations? I'll certainly update once I take a stab at the food etc. because I do plan to return.

We came here after the Dead back in 2009. My friend is vegan and ordered the fried pickles, bbq shrimp, BBQ wings, and salad. I got my usual 25 BBQ and 25 Hot wings with a side of fried pickles. I got a diet coke because I am watching what I eat. No toilets or sinks were clogged when I was there. Lindsay was our server, the best!

One of my "guilty pleasures" is Hooters. Food is generally quite good and reasonably priced. But tonight, got a bit disappointed and that was receiving a set of clams that had busted/ broken shells. In reality, eating one could get you quite Ill. Pointed it out to the girl working as the bartender/ server and was handed the excuse of: "They are vacuum packed and that's how they come"... Which is a pretty poor excuse. These things happen and I get it. I was pointing out that a few were busted and I really don't care "how they come". It is not only poor presentation but someone can get really sick from a bad clam. It isn't up to the server to "offer the excuse". A disappointing experience. The clam chowder and the shrimp were good. The clams were otherwise fine, except for the 2 busted ones.

Hooters will always be my go-to wings joint! Especially because I don't live too far from it. I'm here every other week, to be honest, whether it's to eat wings or have a drink with friends. You can never go wrong with the traditional wings. Not too big but not too small, just the right size! I personally like all flappers. Lunch specials are a steal! And Wednesday's they use to have $6.99 10 boneless with fries, but they raised the prices to $8.99! Still a good deal, if you ask me. The white Sangria isn't strong at all and I'm a light weight when it comes to drinking. It tastes good, but I really feel like I'm just drinking sugary sprite. Some of the girls are rude, but I can't speak for all. But Sylvia, I think that's her name, is one of the best waitress there! She's awesome and very attentive!

I frequently visit this Hooters and have enjoyed their wings for years. Recently I went and ordered a 20 piece with 2 different sauces. We get our food and realize one of the sauces was not the flavor we ordered, not big deal, so we tell our waitress and she takes them back. She gives the food to some older guy in the kitchen who throws the wings in the trash and comes to our table to tell us the wings we ordered were the flavor we originally asked for and somehow they "verified" the flavor we ordered between going from our table to the garbage can. He completely undermined everything we had to say even though we nearly get the same wing combo every time we visit a hooters. We order another 10 wings of the same original flavor and he brings our the exact same flavor. Lucky for us Hooters shows a majority of its wings as pictures on the website and our flavor compared the one we assumed it was showed a completely different sauce color. This whole ordeal has taken about 25 minutes and by the time the second portion of wings came along it was like our table has been blacklisted. We never had a waitress come by, and we never got the ranch we originally asked for upon placing our order and we were ready to leave after hearing kitchen staff place all blame on the wait staff and wait staff place all blame on the kitchen staff. We will not be returning.

You usually don't think oysters when you're at hooters. You usually go for the wings. I went to lunch with a co-worker and was craving something light. I saw they had raw oysters there. My co-worker warned me that it might not be fresh, but that's what i wanted. When it came out, I got 12 fresh oysters on a bed of ice. They gave me the complementary things like horseradish, cocktail sauce, crackers, and lemon. It was really good. I'm not sure how they have fresh oysters on hand and charge $11 dollars for half a dozen, but hey I'm not complaining.

I just ordered a southwest salad for pick up and it was awful. Usually with a Togo order the dressing is put on the side to prevent the lettuce from getting soggy. I feel like i was eating cream of lettuce soup. I also asked for extra lettuce and the lettuce was barely there. Customer service over the phone was rude as well.

2 Budlights, 10 wings, and fries was $33.00 bucks with tax and tip. Forget it. Wings were a bit doughy too. Possibly undercooked. Won't be returning.

So I never was a fan of Hooters in the past, because I was never shown the amazing hot sauce. For some reason.. any time I went I got boneless wings with no sauce, I KNOW, its a sin! Although I'm still not a big fan of wings with bones, especially because I have this weird phobia of food touching my lips/skin around my mouth. So I tend to stick with boneless. My usual order is take out, maybe once a month of so at work. Its the boneless 10 pc special with fries with an extra hot sauce. Its only about $11 and im beyond stuffed after, so not too shabby. The only reason I don't give Hooters the extra 5th star is the prices of celery and ranch is pretty high up there. Other than that its my happy place! Helpful Tips: -They have a parking lot. -Boobs, beer, and birds.. what more can a person ask for?! -They do have a little out door seating.

I really do enjoy this location. It is very easy to get to and a perfect location for meeting up my Chicago friends (i live in the suburbs). This afternoon was another great experience and both the buffalo shrimp and TMI double dipped wings were on point. My table had a wonderful server (Rachel) and she was quick with it all. I am currently in this non-drinking phase so it was Arnold Palmers across the board for me. Oh and that Peanut Butter Cup Pie slice was wowzers!!! I will order that again.

Just went there for lunch - got 10 wings medium. The wings have absolutely ZERO flavor. I don't know if it's because they just opened, or if the cook just didn't prepare this batch right. But these tasted bland enough for me to not be back in Hooters for a real long time.

I came here because Hooters was having a 20 wings for 13.99 deal. When I arrived, the parking lot was full and I had to find street parking nearby. The wait for a table was as long as I expected (~45 minutes), but it took another hour for us to receive our food. On top of that, our drinks were NEVER refilled and the wings came out slightly cold. I split an order of 20 naked wings with the bf, which did not end up being enough since the wings were significantly smaller than the breaded wings. Overall, I would not come back.

I am a fan of Hooters wings. It just so happens that there are many other obvious reasons to frequent a Hooter's also. Do I need to go into it any further? The mild wings and Lot's a Tots are pretty much the ideal for me. It really is my favorite combination right now. The service, it remains constant with other Hooters in the area. They serve up a fast good meal and the servers well what do you expect they are flirty and friendly it is what they do.

I don't know if I'm supposed to review the food or the girls? This being a chain the food is pretty standardly good especially the wings! I stick to 3 mile island. Also ordered a "tall" old fashioned, just because its tall don't be fooled the drink was weak mainly ice n coke, as most other drinks were too. Stick to beer, they can't water that down well I hope not :( as for the girls nothing special compared to other locations. But the service was great !

There wings Are great but Why keep law abiding citizens away...they have signs where I can't conceal carry...it's a welcome sign for criminals..if you don't support my constitutional rights, I will not support you. I guess I will drive to the hooters in Schaumburg where I can cc.

This has got to be the ugliest hooters ever. I've been here 3 times and it must've been when it was a full moon because there were some werewolves out. Food is the same as any other hooters but the Hooters girls were more like Pooters girls. Ya... I'm a pig! boom 4 stars for the food minus one for the girls.

The fact that they would not want to show a NFL playoff game is beyond me. Sure the Bulls are on and I am a fan but they are playing the Bucks? Really. You can't show a meaningful game on one TV without making it seem like I am being unreasonable?

I'm so annoyed I just called to place an order for pickup I was literally on hold for 5 minutes before I decided to hang up and call back. When I called back I told the girl I was on hold for 5 minutes, she responds with "ok what can I get for you, we have a lot of people here. " Mmmmmmk

Hooters has my favorite breaded chicken wings. The honey BBQ is DELICIOUS. The rest of their menu is pretty mediocre so all I recommend is the wings. Great place for large groups and sports games. Women might think this is a total garbage joint because of the servers uniforms, but I've seen families bring their children here for birthday dinners. Customer service could definitely be improved for female patrons.

I am a big fan of Hooters and always encouraged my friends to visit irrespective of location, but i dont think that anymore. I am from Tampa, Florida and came Chicago to visit my friends. went to Cumberland Chicago Hooters location today and it was the first time I felt so annoyed by the service/servers since the day i came here. It was so disrespectful that I have decided not to go any Hooters location in Chicago anymore. first of all when we were about to enter, a Hooter server girl who were standing near the door saw us and she turned her face like she wasn't even there. afterwards there were couple of instances happened where We felt we should have never gone there, still wondering what happened. where is that thing which attracts people and give them welcome feeling? kind of shocked after getting so bad treatment. we stayed there and finished our meals but it was unexpected, very very disrespectful, worst service we ever got in our whole life. I request to change that behaviour toward customers please and welcome your guest, do not mistreat them.

Obviously if you are a fan of wings, one is usually a fan of hooters. In fact many I have been to I have continued to love. This location.....well not so much! I suppose if it were a slow day maybe the service would have been better. But when it is packed it is crazy and there is no place to stand without interfering with the staff or entrance to the kitchen, unless you are towering over customers which I know I would hate. The customer service is fortunately good. But when they are so busy they do not check up on you when you are eating which is not my favorite thing. Especially if you are eating hot wings some water might be nice from time to time. Not sure if they need to hire more people for that reason or what the problem is. So in my future will I be going to hooters? Yes it is likely. Will it be this hooters? Only if other friends want to meet there or it is convenient. Otherwise I will be happy to go to the hooters downtown, which is always busy but never bad, or I will go to a hooters out of state. If I want wings near where I am living I guess I am going elsewhere or hoping that my future brother-in-law makes them.

This Hooters is an ok place. Wife and I decided to try this Hooters as it has been years since we have been to one. Overall, Hooters had a friendly staff but food was "ok". Classic mojito needed some work as it tasted more like sprite. I guess I know why it has been years since we have been to a Hooters.

Never heard of a drink policy....6 people spent over $350, Marine heading back to Afghanistan to serve our country, and couldn't finish our night there, Unsatisfactory for a business to deny a drink. Not only drinks but tons of food also, at the discretion of a manager not experienced to lead, as told by employees. Having designated drivers with us, should not be his decision to make. We were not loud, kept to ourselves, and having a good time till this happen....so long hooters, big let down for us and other marines that will hear of it around the world. SEMPER FI!!

Second time we were disappointed at this location. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was frozen once again in areas. The manager was something less than apologetic and even seemed accusatory. He reluctantly took it off the bill at the insistence of the hooters girl. I was more disappointed in the managers lack of service recovery than the actual food.

Hooters sells popcorn chicken ? What ? , No, actually that is the portion size you get if you order their boneless wings . I went to this location on Tuesday night to celebrate a friends birthday . Our server was great ! She was attentive and on top of her game. Unfortunately the food is just not the same . I though it was just the Hooters restaurants in my area that have bad food and small portions but oh was wrong . Our appetizer the "Lots O Tots" had lots of nothing on them . The toppings we sparse and the tots themselves we not fresh. As for my chicken I ordered ten boneless wings and received ten of the smallest wings I've seen ! I'm sorry did I order a kids meal ? Not to mention they weren't even fresh so I sent them back and decided to order wings instead . Within minutes the manager retuned with fresh wings and apologized . My final issue with this location would be the bathroom . I can describe it in one word "nasty" . I thought I was at a truck stop the bathroom was so dirty . I'll stick with Wing Stop the next time I'm in the mood for chicken At least the chicken is made to order and you get more than a few crumbles of chicken for the 8 bucks hooters charges you .

Haven't been here for a few years. Typical Hooters experience, though, no more no less than usual. Chicks walking around half naked with their hair out (I always wonder if they are breaking some kind of health code with that, but anyway). No hair in my food thank god! Our server was a sweetie pie and she was great at topping off our waters! We all know how picky I am with that! I had medium wings w/ ranch & my mom ordered the buffalo shrimp w/ curly fries and cheese. We looooved the curly fries & cheese! Buffalo shrimp was pretty yummy also. I don't know why but the wings were just... Wings. Nothing special. I've had better. I think I say that to myself every time I go there and yet in a couple years I return. Not a bad experience but just... Regular I guess. I remember their burgers being delicious I may go back for one of those!

Alright, Alright. Not bad. I mean it's a chain, you should get the same thing every time. I must say, the wings were piping hot, and my waitress was on point. Cold glass, and very efficient. After leaving the airport not a bad destination to end up at. Had a good time watching the Big Ten tournament and avoiding traffic.

It's Hooters, so you come for the wings, right?! Ummm....sure. If you say so. I've always had mixed emotions about the wings at Hooter's. You ask any guy what they go there for, and it never fails. They all say for the wings. ((I'm convinced it's some rule in the man's code of conduct...)) Somehow, I just don't find the wings, the food, or the service THAT great. It's average. But perhaps I'm missing something. Prior to my new meatless diet, I would occasionally visit Hooter's for some boneless wings on my lunch break. Especially on "Wings-day". ((On Wednesdays, for $5.99 you can get 10 boneless wings and fries...woot!!)) Depending on the mood, I would usually go for the Medium Chipotle BBQ, Honey Thai Chili Pepper, or standard Medium sauce. Sure, they have pretty decent wings, I won't dispute that. I just never found them anything to rave about. The Lotsa Tots and Fried Pickles are also worth the extra calories if you're in the mood. In terms of the rest of the menu, I haven't ventured out. Not mention, they offer a lot of seafood items and burgers, which really aren't my thing. I wouldn't rate service as being top notch. It's hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is at lunchtime, and how attentive your waitress feels like being. But overall, if you're in the mood for wings, Hooters isn't a bad option. Not to mention, they have some great deals depending on the day you go. And hey, it's all about the wings, right!?

Don't lie. The food here is absolutely horrendous. I guess people that frequent this establishment don't know the difference between garbage and food. This folks, is straight trash. Came here to get some wings solely because I received a gift card. A couple of the wings still had chicken feathers on them and were completely devoid of flavour. Got the loaded tots or whatever they're called and what came out were plain tots (and was something out of my third grade cafeteria). No, I take that back... That would give Hooters too much credit. I'm sorry, but if you want wings there are plenty of other places that do it right. This is not one of them. Based on just the food of this place it should receive less than one star.

I come here on a pretty regular basis as I am a HUGE fan of their wings. This location always has the friendliest service and the food is always as I expect it, super fried and super delicious! Great food, service and location. Highly recommend for all the other Hooters fans out there.

This place is hit or miss. I've called in orders a few times to bring into work. Usually it goes smoothly, but sometimes it's not the nicest exchange. By that I mean they can be rude or short with you. Dining in is just ok. It's hooters and you know what you're getting. Crowded on weekends and game nights. Not so much during weekdays, non game nights. One last thing. If you order to pick up, make sure you have a menu from THIS restaurant. If not you might not like the response when you order sauces they don't have. This location has only a few of the sauces that they list on their website. Wish I would've known that before I ordered.

Hey there run-of-the-mill hooters. Nice to meet you. You are a little bit crowded all the time and you are not very spacious. I feel like I am eating on top of the people around me. Also, your really hot wings are fairly hot but lack flavor on top of their heat. Whats up with that?

This was always the United Nations of Hooter's per my view but as of late or maybe I'm missing something but I'm not noticing as many women of colors here. What gives guys? Let's get back to that old way, shall we. You guys are our first line of welcome from O'Hare. Gosh. I'm not a champion for Hooters, you won't find me dining here with any regularity. Though there is one sandwich that Hooter's sells that will always have my business and it's their fried tilapia sandwich. It's always this flaky, white meat that is perfectly fried and the fillet which is given with bun is so big that you would have to fold it over just to have it as a sandwich. It's a great deal for the spend and most often I am pleased with it. Well with that said I guess the one time you could find me at Hooters the most is around Lent. With the changes in the economy and Hooters brand wanting to keep our business they have made many changes to their menu recently. Now offering wings with more flavors of sauces, have them breaded or naked or other ways. Also more offerings of liquor specials and pricing of some items has been adjusted so there is something for everyone's budget. This location tends to almost always do a great deal of business. Often times the parking lot is close to full, if dining with a party it's best to call ahead and get a guesstimate of wait time.

my bff and i ordered food from here for me to pick up. the food is always great but ti had a problem with the wait time they gave me. they told me our food was gonna be ready in 35-40minutes but i waited 50min. i know its not that much longer but we were on a time limit so i needed them to be on time or at least quote me the correct time. but i would still come back since i love their wings so much.

Hooters wings you either love 'em or you don't, but I"m one of those that are in-between. I like the ones that are not drenched in sauce and oil, but there aren't many of those when the platter is brought out. Our server Christine, was very tentative and friendly, but I found it to be a bit odd that she opens up all of our ranch/blue cheese dressing and pour the beer from the pitcher. We're not at an upscale restaurant for the waitress to have to so. It's a nice gesture, but having been to a few Hooters and having this happen the first time made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Compare our 1 order of fries to another table and something is wrong. our table of five had 1 order, but we got ripped off because the table of two that also had 1 order got double the amount! (you're probably asking how do I know this? Well, the other table of two are friends of mine). Next time pile up those curly fries! To me it's hooters. There's not much to rave about. You either enjoy it or you don't.

Ok so after my last visit I have to give this place an updated review. My younger brother and I always visit this location for our brothers birthday who passed away years ago. Tnis was his favorite place and we make it a tradition to go have some wings and celebrate our brothers birthday every year even though he has passed. Last time we were here we were very disappointed in the size of the wings and service for the money. This time things have changed. Great service and the wings were huge. So for this complete turn around I give it 5 stars. I am happy we gave it another chance.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was good but bun stunk like smoke.Fries came to table cold and husband didn't eat his wings because he said they were terrible. Would not recommend with all the restaurants in the area to choose from.

The buffalo shrimp was great, environment ok but the famous wings were absolutely horrible. All I could taste was the oil they were fried in. Service was also lacking but I always kind of expect that not matter what Hooters I visit. We will not return to this location.

Ok. I've been to this hooters a few times. Each time thinking "it has to get better!" And "maybe it's the time of day". NOPE. Tonight we waited for almost 15mins to be acknowledged by a waitress. When she finally did arrive she had one hell of an attitude...I don't know, maybe it's because it's two women and no men at the table??? So I ask a few questions about their new items menu - she did state she wasn't sure about the items because they are new. Ok. I'm good with that. Now I have allergies to some foods. I ask about something specific. She said she wasn't sure about the item...again stating it was new. Then she said "do you know what you are allergic too?" - I refrained from saying "no, do you?" After all, I'm blonde too. But mines natural. Ok, finally she gets the clue to check with the cook when I tell her "look, I'm not going to go thru and give you a complete list of my allergies." Ugh. Next up...food comes out cold. She looks pissed that we are sending it back for fresh & hot. She confirmed this when she snapped at the mgr in the kitchen about it. Sadly, and somehow, service went downhill from this. Yet she was always smiling and happy and perky with the men's tables around us. Go figure. Maybe I need my husband with me next time. Sad. Won't be back to this Hooters again. Wasn't even worth mentioning to the manager. Besides, he was talking most the time with someone else and seemed upset when anyone interrupted.

This location is very consistent at being average. The food is never great but it is never bad, it is pretty much always exactly the same. That is a huge plus for a chain restaurant. I like the wings but they tend to be greasy so I have moved to the Buffalo Shrimp which is probably my favorite thing on the menu. The service is usually average although I have had horribly bad service here. I attribute it to the server individually rather than the management. More often than not the service is average. Hooters has added numerous drink specials over the years and they tend to always have a fair price for something I am willing to drink. If you go to Hooters for the girls you should not go to Hooters. There are better looking girls working and drinking at the local bars that are not goggled and hit on relentlessly by the 35-55 male demographic. Again if you go to Hooters for anything but food or drinks you should not be going to Hooters. The parking lot can be rough at peak times. If you have to wait for a table they heard you like cattle 2 and 3 deep at the bar and around the bathroom. I hate that. All in all, its Hooters and I will be back...

What can I say! Two things I like about this restaurant? The Wings and the Curly Fries! Why what were you thinking?Consistant, Great Service. The original Sauce is my favorite! The steamed Clams Appetizer is great, I can 3 or 4 dozen at a time!

DISCLAIMER: DO NOT EAT THE RAW OYSTERS FROM HERE! OR ANY FOOD FROM HERE! I am never eating here again. I suggest you never eat here either. The place is full of rude servers who will ignore you most of the night. I sat in front of an empty mug, which I got from the bar before being seated, for at least 10 minutes before our server decided to stop by our table. And this is before we even ordered anything. One of our friends came late. The server didn't even notice for 15 minutes, because she hadn't stopped by for 15 minutes. This is still before we ordered anything. So after waiting and hoping for the server to drop by our table, we ordered 4 dozen raw oysters, full rack of roasted carolina style oysters, some chicken wings, buffalo shrimp, fries, mexicurly fries, and a few other things. Everything came out late. We devoured our food and drank a few more beers and left. A couple of days later, we all came down with a horrible sickness. We had the chills, upset stomachs that kept churning, diarhhea, nausea, weakness, headache. I honestly thought I was going to die. We all figured that it was from this Hooters since we hadn't eaten together since then. Luckily, we all got better in a few days, but it was so horrible. All in all, the servers are rude, the food will make you sick, and it's just not worth it. Listen to all the other reviewers. Keep away from this location and show them that they need to change their ways if they want to stay in business.

If I wrote this review 3 months ago I would have given it 4 stars.. .but for some reason, the quality of the wings is going down :( Sometimes you get wings completely soaked in hot sauce and some of them are dry... and the size of the wings I would swear are smaller! still the flavour is very good and the price for some wings, one beer and a salad is not too bad.... (if anyone from Hooters read this, please go back to the regular wing size!!!)

Never going to this hooters again. Terrible customer service - the waitress, messed up our order, we did not receive everything that we ordered, she didn't even accommodate us to adjust our check having us calculate our order... I can understand if it's busy & I would try to make her job easier but the crowd died down so there should be no excuse. I'm not happy that I had to even pay for gratuity for terrible service. Especially when I caught her giving us an attitude.. We ended up staying an extra hour at this restaurant because she wasn't helping us. Once we paid for our check she split our checks. When she could have easily done that in the beginning. We talked & complained to the manager - she apologized to us & gave us a free 50 wing coupon for only that location. But I highly doubt we'll ever use it since one we don't even live near there & two they have terrible service.

This place was inconsistent with the quality of the other Hooters we've been to. I ordered the 911 shrimps n they were soggy n cold. My husband ordered Burger n the bun was stale n the meat dry. Just not what we expected n we were hungry for some Hooters spicy shrimps n good food but sadly dissapointed

Fried pickles sounds ridiculous but tastes great. It was an invention for me! Other food was ordinary one, it was too muck BBQ sauce in shrimps and boneless wings was so so. It is right place to look at half dressed girls!

Hooters is well...Hooters. I don't think this place needs much explanation. Come here for the wings and for the wings only. There is just something about the way they cook the wings that makes them so darn addicting.

Service was fairly quick except when we had to ask for the check 3 times but not huge deal. I always get the ham and cheese sandwich it's probably the best ham ever but sadly no longer on menu :( kinda wish our waitress had asked if they could still make it. But ended up with the grilled cheese with bacon on it. It was very good. The fries and their yummy ranch dressing were also great as always.

Well I just got a call back from the manager and she just apologized for the cold wings we got and offered a credit for the next time I go in. She will look into the problem and I hope this fixes it since I really do like the food here...Service just needs to improve. Hopefully when I claim the credit, everything is piping hot and fresh.

Maybe it's because my beer goggles were off for the first time? I dunno... but the food just wasn't very good this past weekend when we were in. Hooters has my favorite wings, hands down. It's worth tolerating the dumb-as-rocks waitresses to enjoy said wings. However, this last time, EVERYTHING was cold. The wings, the fried pickles, the tater tots... blech. Our waitress warned us as she put the plates down "careful now, everything is really HOT". I didn't heed her warning... and ended up with a lukewarm mouthful of food. Unimpressive. Their TMI sauce is always a big hut with my dude and I so I'll give them a hesitant three stars. Step it up, Hooters!

I don't know whats going on at Hooters???? My family & I used to love the wings & the service, But not any more. The last two times we were there service was horrible . So with that I'd like to say ................. Thanks Hooters for giving dad a memorable fathers day, I'm sorry it wasn't a good one :(

I like Hooters. Every couple months, I'll get a craving for the buffalo shrimp, which is delicious. I've ordered the Lots-A-Tots for an appetizer before, and they're pretty delicious too. It's hard to go wrong with bacon, cheese, sour cream and chives on tater tots. I also recommend ordering a pitcher of the red sangria. The service at this Hooters location is pretty decent. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I will say though, that the last time I was in there during the summer, it seemed like their air-conditioning wasn't working. They had ceiling fans going, but it was still uncomfortably warm. I mean, I know I had been drinking, but it still seemed warm. Overall, I like this Hooters and will definitely come back again and again.

Our guy friends used to tell us that they didn't come that often and that they really just came for the wings. We laughed at them. Especially when one of the waitresses personally greeted my ex boyfriend; however, the waitress used to be his high school gym teacher. If you're coming to drool over women then you'll get a good eyeful. The ladies are hit or miss on the hot scale. But as my guys said, you come for the wings. Service at this particular Hooters has gone down in the past couple year. The wings weren't as crispy as they once were, but everything still tastes great. The four of us devour 2 curly fries, a basket of celery and 40 wings with 10 to take home. I'm not as enthusiastic about this place as I once was, but every once in a while the craving hits and you find yourself back in familiar surroundings.

I've come to this particular Hooter's (Norwood Park area) many a times. It's conveniently close to home and work for me. However, I will gladly drive to Schaumburg for food from now on. In the past year or so, service has taken a dramatic drop as well as the quality of food served. The other day was the final straw for me though. :-/ I love wings and when I come to eat wings I expect wings tossed in SAUCE NOT grease trying to pass for sauce. I also expect lemon either IN my water OR a small plate NOT on a freaking napkin! Bathrooms NEED to be cleaned A LOT better. They have been consistently gross. Cleaning of the tables needs to be 100x's better please! Curly fries are to be curly and not looking like McDonald's fries. ALL food should be hot if intended to be hot not warm or room temperature. & Lastly, service has been sketchy. Some days the waitresses are great and other days I find myself repeating an order or asking another waitress for my refills or anything else since my waitress will take the order and that's it. It's also rude for the waitress to demand to pay as soon as we are done with food. What if I wanted dessert or another beer? Norwood Hooters, you have lost me =[ I don't think I will be coming back for a while even though I love my wing fix every so often. I'll keep giving good old Schaumburg my appetite for wings.

Hooters, You don't need me to tell you how great you are and how much I love you, but I will tell you anyway. I may have cheated on you once with the Tilted Kilt, but baby, it wasn't the same. When I am having an intense wing craving, you, and only you, complete me. You are delightfully tacky, yet unrefined. I apologize for my previous indiscretions and I hope you will take me back. I promise to never leave you again. Forever and always, Lisa "Pass the box wine" C.

We have been going here for years. The quality has gone down a bit. Hooters in general has gone down a bit but that's a different story. This place gets full with business assholes during lunch time. the service is ok and the food is good or bad depending on what day and time you catch it. It's just your average hooters.

Easily thee best chain based wings around. Though theyre supposed to be famous for the eye candy wait staff..its pretty hit or miss. But thats neither here nor there. Honestly I think Id probably rather not have a smoking hot server anyway. So I dont have to worry about looking presentable when they check in on you while youre stuffing your grill. But I digress from the point at hand.. The one and only reason I ever go and will ever go there for is the wings. I dont think Ive ever had anything else on the menu and will never have the need to. Well..mayb outside of the curly fries of course. But I could definitely go without such amenities. They even have different flavors/sauces now. All I need is regular hot and their trusty blue cheese and Im good to go.
