We went 2 days in a row to this new South Loop lunch spot, because we wanted to try a few different food items before judging. All in all, fairly solid Greek food! The portions are generous, and the food quality is quite good. The staff is pretty attentive (kudos for the manager recognizing us and welcoming us back on our 2nd visit), service is pretty quick, and for a newly opened location, not a lot of kinks to be worked out. We're anxious for the upstairs bar and rooftop seating to open up...and hoping that comes with evening and weekend hours for the summer. Good luck at your new location, GRK!!

Food : 3/5 Fast Attitude of the people serving the food: -5 Not a place to come back to. People working on the line have a bad attitude, except the girl at the chasier.

Food:2.5stars Experience/service :2stars Facility:4 stars The food is average. Sauces are blan. There is other pita options the area that taste better Manager appeared to be on break when I entered/ordered. The staff working behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were doing. Only one meat was available and limited toppings but they still asked what meat I want etx. I paid and they didn't start to make my food for another 10 mins! The manager then finally got up to assist. But instead of being helpful he just yelled at his staff. Keep in mind there were only 3 customers. Just a really unpleasant experience. At least everything was very clean.

I can't believe how bland and poor the food is here. They appear to have spent so much money building the place out but I am 0 for 5 on eating the food. Some people in the office like the salads but it is tough to screw up iceberg lettuce. I heard someone likes the gyro but it is the same gyro meat that everyone in the city serves. Stay away from the dry, way overcooked, and under seasoned steak. And prepare to be underwhelmed by all the sides. With the recent overwhelming choice of fast-casual Mediterranean restaurants available, GRK finds itself in last place. At least the location on Jackson does.

The Greek salad with chicken was your typical average-flavored fast casual salad, but I'm going 4 stars b/c it looks like they recently remodeled - there's a nice rooftop patio and bar with tvs. Nice place for a quick lunch break with outdoor seating when the weather's nice.

Awesome fries, huge size also! The price is okay, I guess comparable. I do love that u can create ur own gyros and the options they have for meat and toppings. However the chicken is always over cooked and dry and at times cold.

This afternoon I ate for the first time at the new GRK Greek Kitchen at S Wells and W Van Buren. I had a plate with chicken rotisserie, rice, the tomatoes-cucumbers-onions mix, a wheat pita, and bottled water. The chicken seemed a little salty, but there are many fillings, sauces, toppings, and more on their menu. To me, at this point, it was simply something different than what I get elsewhere. What impressed me most about the GRK Greek Kitchen was the friendliness and cheerfulness of the staff, seeming to be having a good time being there and working with each other.

Great place to get a delicious Greek salad... Just horribly unfortunate to have an employee ruin the entire experience. Vinny, who turned out to be the manager, actually scolded me for asking him a simple question about a salad topping. Can I please get that topping on my salad? The hyped up jerk, who should probably be working as a bouncer at a dive bar, made a huge stink out of it. Finally agreeing to put the topping on the salad, saying it would cost extra. I don't care how much it costs. Why would he assume I had a problem paying for what I asked for? When I have a bad customer service experience it never surprises me to find out it's a manager. Some people don't know how to be in charge without being a jerk. Just surprising when it spills over to an unsuspecting customer. Obviously that's how he treats his employees. Let me know when that guy is fired so I can come back and enjoy your good food, music, and atmosphere without worrying about being talked down to by a half wit.

The absolute worst falafel that I have ever had. It was hard throughout - not the usual soft center I would expect. Will not be back.
