Very underwhelmed by my first and only experience here. I expect to receive a hearty salad after paying $9, but in turn I received a bunch of lettuce and a little bit of the other toppings. I will stick with Protein Bar.

It's not that Freshii is bad, it's that their salads are crazy expensive. The same ingredients and similar sizes in a "build my own salad" that costs me about $8 at Mac Kelly's in the SLoop is about $13 here. Plenty of other options (Potbelly, Specialty's, etc.) in the area at 20-50% lower costs.

I appreciate Freshii's attempt at providing healthy fast food in the Loop - it's hard to find elsewhere. However, this location can never seem to get my order right. Even when it's a "standard" order (Bliss Bowl, not a build-your-own), they regularly omit something. Typically, it's one of the more expensive items, like avocado, that I've paid a premium for. And of course, if you get take-out, you won't notice until you are already out the door, and it's too late to complain. They really need to step up their quality control at this location.

Had one of the wraps and was looking forward to a healthy meal. The idea of the green lead being the wrap was cool and eating it was messy but you have to sacrifice something for healthy eating right? Well worst part was that even with the sauce and messiness the green leaf was too bitter and there wasn't enough flavor and filling to offset the bitterness. It could still be healthy with some extra salt, pepper or any spice that gives more umph. I'd go back and try the shakes and other dishes before I set this place aside but wasn't impressed with the first wrap.

Ugh. Ingredients are always wrong. What's on website doesn't match in-store menu. Workers don't take responsibility for anything being wrong and aren't apologetic. Going here is stressful. Your job is to make me an f-ing salad and make it right. Anything less is unacceptable. If that's not something you can do, step aside and give someone else a turn. UPDATE 12-14: Alex, I have zero interest in having anything to do with you or with Freshii. Please do not contact me again. Thank you. Dana.

It's a challenge to find healthy food options on the run. It's so refreshing to find fresh juice and smoothies without a ton of sugary fruits added in it! Checkout the liquid sunshine juice, you won't be disappointed. The mediterranean bowl is a perfect mix of health and deliciousness in a bowl. The quinoa and feta is the best! I love Freshii and my body thanks you!

Alex whom owns/manages the Presidential Towers location from my understanding, reached out to me after my initial review. He offered to buy me lunch since my first visit during opening week didn't go so well. I appreciated his willingness to reach out to make things right, so I thought it was only right to give Freshii another chance. I went in today and saw Alex a little before the lunch rush. I asked which was his favorite item on the menu, KALE EFFECT Bowl he said without hesitation. "I'll have that." It was really very good, a large portion of Rice, Blanched Kale, Chicken, vegetables, Peanut sauce with a bit of a kick. Long and short, I'll be back for the Kale Effect bowl again, and again.

I order from this Freshii all of the time because it is close to my work and I am always disappointed. The salads are 98% lettuce and the bowls are 98% rice. I got the featured Pangoa bowl last week and there were 8 black beans in the entire bowl. Eating an entire bowl of rice is not healthy and not what I pay for. Last night was really the worst of all experiences. I ordered the Superbiotic green wrap and it was so drenched in dressing it was inedible. It was like a really bad chicken salad drenched in mayo. I had to throw it out - another $10 wasted on Freshii. Disappointing.

I had the Pangoa bowl and it was delicious. They also have a really cute patio outside!

I love it here! I'm a repeat customer to this location. I think the star of this location is, Alex, the manager. Today, I realized I received the wrong order once I was back at my office. I called right away and without any hesitation, Alex had an employee bring me my correct wrap along with a free entree card. I sincerely appreciate the great customer service and I will be back to use that free entree card!

Breaking News: Quinoa doesn't taste like anything so stuffing a burrito with it isn't helping. Spicy thai Burrito is bland as the day is long. I might give it one more shot because it is a healthy option but good lord...flavor is needed.

Love the food. Can't wait for the staff to learn the business a bit better. Ill be back.

I stopped in here last week for a quick and healthy bite midday to fortify me for the rest of a busy afternoon (and evening). To start off, this location is miles better than the one adjacent to the Monroe St. Equinox, as that one can get quite packed in a hurry, especially during the lunch rush. The layout at the Canal Street Freshii makes so much more sense, plus they offer fro yo (yay!). I decided to eat in, as I needed a respite from the bitter cold, and there was plentiful seating available. The woman who took my order at the counter was helpful, as I had a vague description of a green wrap that I had seen in an email ad but couldn't locate on the store's printed menu. She graciously pointed out that I could order any wrap off the menu and sub out the burrito or wrap for collard greens for a .75 cent upcharge. I went with the wasabi crunch wrap, in which the spicy peanut sauce and wasabi peas lent a nice kick to the otherwise bland components. I think the mushrooms were missing, but there was a lot going on in the wrap so it might have been entirely possible that I overlooked them. I will definitely be back to sample some of the other offerings, including the fro-yo. It would be nice to have calorie counts posted on the menu (maybe they are on the website but not in store?) but perhaps that will be coming in the near future.

Food was bland, tasteless and required a significant amount of salt or hot sauce to even be palatable. We tried their oatmeal, which was cold and had no sugar in it. We tried their spicy lemongrass soup, which had some flavor but was really missing something. The breakfast burrito did not come as ordered and everything was cold! One good thing was the juice. It tasted fresh and even though it wasn't ideal, it was good. It's never a good sign when you have bottles of hot sauce, salt and other condiments on the table as well as the food.

Good food, but a ridiculously long wait during lunch unless your order in advance. Even when you order in advance, it's not easy to jockey to the front of the line to pick up food you already paid for online. They need to drastically improve this process.

Metabolism Salad for the win. On the more expensive side, but good stuff.

I have never been to a Freshii - I had no idea what I was getting myself into, I figured since I was not familiar with the menu I would order a bowl The Bowl I ordered was the Med Life I asked for no Cilantro, and light onion,- waited about 5 Min's for my name to be called, after I walked two blocks back to the office I open up my container full of Quinoa, I would say at least 2 cups worth - mini chopped tomatoes, some signs of red pepper and small mini cubes of feta cheese. olives were sliced thin - but I have no idea what happened to my cucumber dill dressing. this dish was so Blah! and I paid $9.93 for a lunch Did call and they advised me this was a very light dressing and you need to request extra for more taste( why not just tell your client that before they pay? ) If you go please ask questions and also ask for extra sauce or dressing on the side . I think it's over priced for what I received and probably will not be back.

Great spot for a healthy lunch alternative - the space is very clean and well-maintained. The communal farm table and fun wall art really set the tone for a fresh, friendly atmosphere, which the staff and owner make sure is always on the menu! I have tried nearly everything on the menu (with salmon being the only exception) and have yet to be disappointed - the red cabbage slaw on the new falafel bowl is AWESOME!!! If you are working down in the Loop and are looking for fresh, healthy food options, either pre-made or customizable, I highly suggest giving this spot a try.

I love Freshii. If I do get lunch out, this is usually it. Since the lines can get long I often order online and pick it up. However, almost every time my order is wrong. I don't understand how this happens because it is right there IN WRITING. Somehow, when it gets inputted into the computer, they manage to get it wrong. I will say though, when I say it's wrong, they will usually give me my meal for free. So, they make up for it, but seriously, can't get an online order right? The food is good, don't get me wrong. But sometimes, the hassle just isn't worth it. UPDATE: after I posted this, the owner and manager reached out to me personally, so I'm going to give it another star for the personal response.

Two words. Huge disappointment. I normally avoid commenting after only 1 order, but I figure what the heck. This was really not good. Ordered delivery via GrubHub. The Freshii menu is very appealing as far as healthier options go. No complaints about the freshness or quality of ingredients. My mistake was ordering a salad with the dressing tossed in. That is their default option, by the way. Very unusual...but I thought I'd give it a try. What a mess. Don't do it. I ordered a "Build Your Own". With exception of the Romaine lettuce, they were VERY stingy with the ingredients. I have read other reviews that said they are inconsistent with this. Unfortunately I was ripped off this time. Then there is the soup. I tried the Asian Vegetable Soup. For $5.99, it's a quart, which isn't a bad value. But it arrived barely warm, which always concerns me from a food safety standpoint. I couldn't even go further than tasting it, though. The noodles were BARELY cooked! Al Dente rice noodles are not good. Decided to save it for lunch the next day and finish cooking the noodles. Only enjoyable item was the Quad Berry Blast Smoothie. I love Kefir, and they use frozen Kefir in their smoothies, and it's delicious! Undecided as to whether or not we'll try Freshii again. A relatively expensive, not-so-good meal.

WARNING: They work in SLO-MO here. I came in around 12:40pm to check the place out. I noticed there was a bunch of people that were waiting for food. Some of them looked really impatient. Menu has some intersting items on there that I thought I'd try it out some day. I only came in to get a snack. I ordered a cookie and a Juice Smoothie. The cookie was already self serve so I only had to wait for the smoothie. I waited 20 minutes for my smoothie. And from the looks of how they were working, it appeared that everyone waited at least that much or longer. Yes, they are new and probably still working things out, but noone looked like they had a sense of urgency. I mean come on....you're located in the Loop and it's lunchtime. People don't have leisure time just to be waiting. And I ordered the house special juice and it didn't have any flavor to it. Probably because it was a bad combo of ingredients or their fruits weren't just ripe enough. Don't advertise it as your special if it can't live up to the name.

What a ripoff! $10 for a bowl of noodles that looks like a $1 thing from trader joes! You get charged $2 for a few crumbly pieces of tofu and there is virtually no flavor! Never again!

I order at freshii a few times (3 times), usually get the Buffalo Wrap, honestly for the price I can go to Native Food which is right beside it and get something that will fill me up, one time I got a juice "the ABC", and it was so water down that it didn't taste anything but water and I paid 8$ for it. But the major reason why I wont go back there is that they have TWO TV showing Fox News. they only have 6 tv in the whole place and two of them are FOX.. I could understand if they had MSNBC or CNN to balance it out..but nope.. I hate when people blend politics when Im eating a wrap. I gave them the feedback and of course they dont take it.

Yes, another chain restaurant review. But as I have learned, even chain restaurants differ in service and food as it's in this case. I usually visit the ones in the loop/financial district. However, I have been visiting this one a few times since I moved and always order the exact same thing in all of them. This one however, always seems to be chaos. The cashiers can never get the orders or names right. The kitchen never ever gets the recipes right. They are always missing something or have something extra. The waits can be 5-15 minutes and the food, although the same, never ever ever tastes the same. It's sometimes bland, salty, too spicy, etc.

This location sucks! It's Friday lunch time and there are tons of people working but they can't figure out how to get through a normal amount of customers. It's totally disorganized and the customer service is terrible- no one seems to know what they are doing. On the plus it's healthy!

Great place to go for lunch. You can create your own bowl/ wrap, or you can select one off their menu. The staff is also always very friendly and upbeat, especially Alex!

Tried this for the first time last week.. I've been 3x's since. First time, I tried the Lemon grass soup it was actually really good. The green juice drink was also pretty good. Second time I just had the green juice. This time, I noticed quite a bit of froth and I got much more peels etc than I would have liked. OK, Third time, green drink again.. this time.. it was basically slug with about a third actual juice.. I was home by the time I realized this.. YUK!! I think they really need to make sure that they are straining the drink. Which I don't think they do here.. not sure why? I'll probably just go to French Market there's a great juice place there and they give you more juice for the same price and NO slug because they strain it.. I'll stick with the soup..

For a store that has "fresh" in their name..most of my salad was yellow and browning at the edges..the star goes to their employees because they're pretty friendly..but the food is NOT worth the premium you're paying for fresh ingredients

This place is healthy, don't get me wrong, but it's not 100% guilt-free.. It's not guilt-free at all..! I got the "Market Wrap," which includes "Field greens & spinach, quinoa, beet slaw, apple slaw, carrots, cranberries, avocado, honey dijon"---I didn't taste much in the way of honey dijon, and I felt like the whole thing tasted way too healthy for me.. I know it's a silly complaint, but where is the happy medium of tasting great while still being healthy? And the worst part of this story is that I looked up the nutritional value afterwards--one market wrap is 840 calories, and 1085 mg of sodium! I should have just eaten a cheeseburger and fries instead!! I guess next time I'll go for the salad? ..But where's the fun/taste in that?

Meh. This isn't the first freshii I've been to, but this will be the last time I go to this location. Not only is it slow, they almost got my order wrong TWICE. They messed it up once and as they were about to put the lid of my salad for the re-make, I had to ask if they remembered to put the chicken. Of course the answer was no. The manager (I assume) questioned me and looked at the order ticket; it wasn't until I showed him the receipt did he believe I paid for it. His excuse was because he didn't read it. I guess that can be a valid excuse, but I was the only person waiting for the order! Solution: Learn to read.

Visited Freshii during their anniversary celebration last week (7 years I think). I tried the buffalo wrap and added chicken. It was quite good, made quickly and overall, pretty tasty. The wrap was a bit dryer than I would have liked and I admit, it was a 'healthier' meal, but definitely fresh and a great lunch. It was also pretty filling while not being overly huge. Worth a stop for lunch!
