My coworkers talk about this chain all the time, so I figured I'd go here for a Buddha Bowl with tofu and see how it turned out. As far as I'm concerned, Freshii is going to be the go-to place if I ever crave a stir-fry over lunch. The noodles were cooked just right, and I was a fan of the peanut sauce, which was pretty flavorful. Next time I'll be adding some sriracha, though. The menu is a bit overwhelming if you're there for the first time, and it took a little while to make. But overall I liked it enough to be willing to come back.

I order from this place a lot! I mean almost 2-3 times a week. It's awesome food, good value for the price. I really like their bliss bowl, and veg soup - but i add lemongrass dressing to make it spicy. Over all I'm usually happy - few times i was disappointed was due to me missing direction on how to prepare. There is barely any broth in soups so if you're like me and like it liquidy you have to request to go easy on rice / noodles. Breakfast wraps work awesome for quick morning bite! I'm not a big fan of their salads, if you're having it at restaurant than its ok otherwise not. If you're really up for salad, go with premade. They do better job as they have to look presentable vs. custom salads lack a lot of ingredients or is not enough.

I just had a Build your own salad delivered. First time I have ordered here. I spent over $13.00 on a salad, $5.00 delivery and gave a $6.00 tip. I resquested double steak. Omg. What a joke. I got five tiny pieces of steak about the size of an eraser head. Three pieces of broccoli smaller than a eraser head. A piece of avocado the size of my baby finger. This place is a big rip off. Never again. If I had known, I would have NEVER wasted my hard earned money.

I love Freshii! The food is always fresh and tastes amazing, but the service here is some of the worst that I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The women are unprofessional, rude, unhygienic and chatty.

Good Option This is a good spot to grab a quick lunch or other meal if you're looking for a healthier alternative. I've had a Metabooster with tofu a few times here and it's always been tasty, fresh and a nice mix of kale spinach and other greens, soybeans mango and other goodies. Plenty of meat options to add as well, and some hearty options like burritos, wraps, etc. A good value and a great option. Cheers!

I had a good period of time where I wasn't really too into this place. Solely because of their high prices for burritos and soups and such. Although this may be true, I've eaten here enough times at this point to say that there's a reason for that: their food is spectacular. Yes, everything is customizable. Yes, they have options for breakfast. Yes, they have options for lunch..and dinner! Where can you find that at any other restaurant? The best part about paying $10 for just yourself to eat is that you know you're treating your body right. Even just having the oatmeal (~$4) made me feel really great in the morning. Why? Because the apples were fresh, the oatmeal was fresh. Everything was Freshii!

So the thing I loved about the last time I was here was how flavorful everything was. Today I ordered the Ninja bowl and I have to downgrade stars. Unfortunately, I'm not enjoying the Ninja. The greens seem like they're on their last leg - not that greens have legs, but you know what I mean. The salad is supposed to have an Asian sesame dressing, but where is it? I kind of got a bowl of limp and browning lettuce with such a small amount of dressing that the flavor just can't be found. Maybe that's why they call it Ninja.

Ordered the new falafel bowl. Normally comes with brown rice, but I substituted for quinoa for $1.00 more. Bowl consists of falafel, kale, garbanzo beans, cucumber, grape tomatoes, pickled beets and carrots. Sauces include siraracha, cucumber-dill, and tahini. The falafel itself was very dry. -1 point.

Terrible service. I have been in 3 times now during off hours and was treated poorly each time. I was the only one in the store. Will not go back.

My friend and I stopped into Freshii for a weekday lunch. The space is teeny but there are two counters with lines of chairs for folks who want to eat there. I was promptly greeted and the guy at the counter explained their process to me. There are clipboards with food options (see picture) or you can choose from the menu of suggested combinations. I chose to make my own salad. We ordered, paid, and got our food without a hitch. They gave us a sample of their refreshing carrot juice. Loved it! My salad was really large, fresh, and good. My friend has tried many combinations from Freshii and she seemed to enjoy her wrap. Everything about Freshii was okay - perfectly satisfying and not outstanding. Although the customizable option is great for some people, I think that I prefer to order from a regular menu. This location also isn't really a great place for meeting a friend. We had to sit next to eachother facing a wall and the door behind us kept a steady breeze of cool air directed at our backs.

Freshii's concept is great: healthy, fresh, fast food that is flexible enough to meet a broad range of dietary needs (vegan, veg, gluten free, paleo, etc) The problem is, it's mediocre. There is a lie being told that the only ways to add flavor to food is through salt and fat, and that is just not true. Freshii foods are pretty much consistently lacking good seasoning, which is really kind of offensive to the idea of good-tasting fresh food. There is NO reason that healthy food can't taste incredible, and somewhere along the line at Freshii, that is getting overlooked. This place is not cheap, either, so they should definitely be able to invest some resources into promoting good flavor and proper seasoning.

My first experience here and It was a waste of time and money. I ordered online and selected to pay in cash. The cashiers ignored me when I walked up and then when I told them I had pick up she handed me my bag and I had to tell her I didn't pay for my purchase. The cashier said "that's fine" and looked at the person standing next to me then looked at me confused until I handed her cash and then she got frustrated and said "well what did you have?" And I told her a build your own bowl" and handed her the ticket. She rang me up and charged me more than what I was told to pay online (only by .20 cents). Then when I went to eat, there was no dressing, missing a topping and not even enough veggies just a ton of quinoa so it looks like a lot of food. I will not be going back.

I love and appreciate healthy, fresh food. I also appreciate clean establishments. You get all of that here. I ordered the sriracha chicken chili bowl. Great flavor, and mushrooms were a great touch. I had to add extra sriracha because I like my chili spicy. The only thing I didn't like is the price (&10 for a bowl of chili is STEEP)!! If my next check comes out a little more than I expect, okay, maybe I can splurge on chili again. Otherwise I don't think I can afford to eat here often.

Don't waste your hard-earned cash here. Their food is bland and overpriced. I've tried a range of things on their menu, all of them were gross. Extra star for clean, pleasant atmosphere.

I really like Freshii. Their food is fresh and tasty, and the employees at this particular location are super friendly. My only complaint lies in their prices, which in my opinion are 20% too high for what you get. That being said, I am always full for hours after my burrito from Freshii.... so, maybe it really is worth the $10+ I always spend.

Looking for a healthier lunch option instead of going to Wendy's, Taco Bell, Panda Express, etc? Well Freshii is the place for you. Here you'll find healthy food that actually taste good. You can get burritos, wraps, bowls or salads ...all of which are filling and affordable. My favorite meal to get here is the Teriyaki Twist Bowl with chicken, but substitute the brown rice for noodles. If you are in the mood for something sweet, I recommend you get some fat free frozen yogurt with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Mango tango after a long run is the perfect fresh cold drink! It is however on the pricier side - $6

This restaurant's look is very green and ergonomic. I ordered one of the best sellers, the pangoa. The food is a little pricey for what it is, but overall is very good. There was a problem with my original order, and the staff was very helpful in correcting the mistake in a timely manner. I ate in the restaurant, so it would be nice if they closed off the side door (due to the wind and cold temperature outside) as there is a main entrance to the tower that serves just as well. Overall, pleasurable experience.

The food is ok, I usually go here out of convenience of location. The employees are very nice but need a refresher on basic customer service. The wait is a pain. I don't mind waiting since I know they start making it fresh when I order it. I do mind waiting when I can see the person that is making my food is going incredibly slow for no reason, as in I'm the only customer in the store and they have nothing else going on. I ordered my food online today to save wait time and even went down 10 minutes after my confirmation said it would be ready. I watched them scramble to start to make it when I said who I was and then let it sit there until I said something. And to top it off the food was incorrect. Basically, don't come here if you're in a rush. But if you have a lot of time and want mediocre healthy food, this is the place for you.

After writing off this Freshii for almost two years, I've had a change of heart. With a hectic work schedule, I can barely find time to eat some days after doing some work outside the home mom duties there. I initially hesitated about returning to Freshii, but I was damn hungry, so I went for it. I researched the menu before going there to be better prepared. Part of my initial issues with this restaurant was its anxiety producing nature. This place gave me Subway anxiety. See years ago, I wouldn't go to Subway because they had a different way of ordering. It always made me tense. After some Subway experiences, I got used to the process. The same with Freshii occurred. However, after Freshii's opening, they were too loud and too everything for the building. At the time, they were very in your face literally. Since then, they've toned it down to fit seamlessly into the building. Lately, I've been doing the customized burritos. I love them. I mix together all sorts of ingredients for a nice protein punch. It's especially helpful after doing my work nursing mom duties as well as preparing for the night. I seriously have to consume a lot of calories to feed my little guy. Eating Freshii burritos have been a healthy way to get lots of protein without all of the grease. So yep, I'm a convert to Freshii.

Freshii may not be sexy, but it's made-to-order fresh, fast and most importantly: healthy! I love that you can customize just about anything on the Freshii menu, though they've dreamt up several signature items in each category (wraps, salads, burritos and bowls). My go-to item is the Bliss Bowl: a generous portion of brown rice mixed with balsamic vinegar and EVOO and then topped with a double serving of avocado, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. It's one of my favorite meals from a to-go operation and it's about time I replicate it at home in Austin! Besides being diet-friendly, Freshii is also inexpensive for the large portions you receive. For $8, the Bliss Bowl makes a meal.5 and keeps me sated for at least half the day, without any of the sluggish post-meal crash symptoms. Please come to Austin, Freshii!

Sadly, nothing has changed in this location. They still hire lots of young, inexperienced folks who seem to have underdeveloped active listening and comprehension skills because they STILL get orders wrong a lot. And they still have trouble effectively problem-solving. With the exception of the young, Asian lady (whose name completely escapes me!) nobody there can figure out any snafus without calling the manager. That young lady is the one bright spot in an otherwise wayward ship that even Scott, the manager, has seemed ineffective at being at the helm. Why not work on effectively training the staff the first time so that you're not always cleaning up their mess -- literally and figuratively -- and having to deliver correctly made orders to people and offering comp meals to make up for the utter ineptness of the staff who can't get the orders right? Poor staffing and management at this location has entirely ruined the experience for me. Not to mention a glitchy app used for reward purchases (which the other unhelpful employees were quick to mention was "not their fault" -- way to throw your employer under the bus...) And about that "reward" program -- it's completely bogus. Previously, 10 purchases = free meal. Now, you have to fill up 30 vegetables in a battery on the aforementioned glitchy app. I don't even want to count how much I actually spent over the last few months to get that "free" salad I just redeemed. Speaking of -- the unhelpful employees almost just sent me away because of an app error when I tried to redeem my "free" meal (again, it's not THEIR fault, "send an email" is what they said...) Thank goodness for the young Asian lady -- the only one who truly understands customer service -- who recognized me and was more than happy to take care of it until the app actually started working again. Freshii needs more people like her at THIS location. Fortunately there are other Freshii locations but I'm so turned off by the poor execution of what should be a great healthy food concept, that once I spend the last $18 on my account, I'm done with Freshii. There's always Protein Bar -- and they never get my order wrong.

Of the many Freshii locations in Chicago, this one is the best. The staff are friendly and competent and you can tell the franchise owner wants to run a good business and treat customers right. The portions are large, the ingredients are fresh, and if you can get used to the idea that most things are raw, you'll be able to fill up on a tasty, good-for-you meal.

Didn't this used to be the home of the worlds smallest Starbucks? Or as I liked to call it "Starbucks To Go!", since there wasn't room inside for a table or a chair or even a line. Now it's a bright new Freshii and they've expanded the space! There is a small amount of seating inside and an outdoor patio with the same Freshii goodness of all the other locations. The buffalo chicken wrap, folks. Get it.

Ugh. I don't get Freshii's concept. Freshii intrigued me because I am always on the lookout for healthy lunch options or snacks. I stopped by on a raining afternoon in lieu of walking further since I forgot my umbrella at work. I did not have to deal with any lunch crowds. In fact, the place was empty. I ordered the antioxidant crunch salad because it sounded delicious. As I placed my order, the clerk freaked out because she had never made a salad before. I should have realized that was a sign that 1) I should have ordered something else or 2) walked out politely. But really, a salad isn't that hard to make, right? The salad consists of spinach, grilled chicken, blueberries, broccoli, celery, chopped almonds, EVOO & Aged Balsamic vinegar. I really love these ingredients but Freshii managed to screw it up. The salad had nearly 2 tiny pieces of non-grilled, cold chicken and almost no celery or broccoli. I did manage to scrape up at least half a dozen of heavily dressed blueberries, yippee! For the price, I would skip Freshii for salads.

Freshii is a busy establishment located in the middle of the Chicago Financial District. The food is what the name says---completely and wholesomely fresh! The menu is extensive and customized to fit your preferences. Every element of a burrito for example. is up to your own choosing. There is a "build your own" option, or you can get your a pre-made menu item. I ordered the Bangkok Burrito for $6.99 to go. That's with brown rice, grilled chicken, carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, warm peanut sauce in a wheat wrap. It came within 10 minutes. It was OK. I expected much more from it--there wasn't much flavor and I couldn't really taste the peanut sauce. The addition of brown rice and wheat wrap was overpowering. I had to get a drink to wash down the wheat wrap that kept sticking to the roof of my mouth. Portions were good, I was completely full. However I would give the burrito a 3-stars because it wasn't something I would order again. I definitely am looking forward to trying the other items on the menu. I love the idea of healthy options for fast food!

Lots of vegan options. Tastes amazing, fresh, and natural. Huge, generous portions (I brought a bag back to the office and we marveled how heavy it was!). Really flexible in switching out ingredients. This place has a really nice range of affordability - For example, I got the Buddha's Satay Bowl for $6.50 with beans - which contains plenty of protein for no extra - but you can add tofu or meat for $2.00 extra) and my officemate got the Med Life Salad which starts at $8.99. Also, I thought the workers were quick, friendly, and got our orders just right. The feel is clean, bright, and minimal. New favorite Loop lunch spot! Love this place!

  • Irina H.

I have only been here a few times and each time got a pre-set bowl instead of making my own salad. One time I liked what I got but the next time didn't see it on the menu. I then tried the "Bliss Bowl" which was basically a huge pile of quinoa doused with balsamic vinegar, so it tastes, smells and looks very much like "sour bird seed". And pricey, too! Not such a deal.

There must be some correlation between healthy food and attractive people. Even without being in the entrance to a gym, like the W. Monroe location, there is some nice eye candy here. I do like Freshii's concept. Fresh, natural, healthy food, highly customizable, for a reasonable price. I tend to get the bowls (with quinoa) because they're very filling and I won't be hungry an hour or two later. I like them, but there's something not entirely satisfying that results from mixing warm quinoa with cold meat, veggies & dressing. Also, if you're not careful with your additions you can end up with a pretty expensive dish. I opted to add avocado to my last bowl (for $1) and at first I thought they forgot to put it in. It turns out there just wasn't a whole lot of it. The food does come out very fast. This location has minimal seating for dine-in (though there's a nice area outdoors for that, weather permitting). Some staff are friendly, others not so much. On my last visit the guy that handed me my food was chipper but the one who took my order seemed harried and disinterested, though it wasn't very busy. Definitely get one of their stamp cards so you can earn free meals, and follow @freshii on twitter for secret specials (like double stamps).

I was craving a salad and Freshii really hit the spot. It's uncomplicated, customized fresh food and the serving sizes are quite ample. It's a bummer that Freshii charges extra for some "premium" toppings. I totally get charging extra for proteins like salmon, chicken, steak, etc., but for fruits and cheeses? My salad went from $5.99 to almost $10 quickly. Still, overall Freshii is a good, healthy lunch prospect.

I can only speak for Freshii's breakfast items, smoothies, and their morning crew... but I am hooked! I visit Freshii basically every morning and I love love love their food. Healthy, delicious, and the wrap/oatmeal + coffee combos are very worth the buck. I often get peeved by bad customer service but the morning crew + Lewanda are awesome! Very friendly, courteous, and quick. I suggest you guys try the spinach and goat cheese (request to add egg whites!) and the freshii green smoothie! I have no complaints about this place, just a very good start to my morning. :)

Love the food but hate the wait. Unfortunately ordering by the web does not help as the food is not ready when it is promised and can take as long as if you just walked in.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch while traveling in Chicago and we both really enjoyed it! He got a wrap and I got a salad and we both thought it was very fresh and tasty. The workers were very friendly and welcoming too!

First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know how to order at first. I was a little confused. I just went up to one of the cashiers and they were happy to help. I ordered the signature salad with salmon. Yum! Ingredients were fresh and they had so many options :) they offer a great selection of soup, salads, wraps, juice and smoothies.

    (5)
  • Kristen W.

The girl at the counter (possibly manager) was super nice today. I liked the smoothie but slightly sugary tasting. Would have liked to see the calories up on the menu board for quick reference. Skipping the smoothy next time and trying something else.

  • Tim L.

They can never get anything correct. They either get my food order wrong by not taking out the ingredients I specified that I did not want, always having to repeat to the cashiers that they forgot something, always asking for bags (shouldn't they always offer one?), or food tasting way too bland. I always leave this place with a dissatisfied, pissed off mood.

  • John O.

I have to downgrade this place to 2 stars as the last two visits I had to wait almost 25 minutes after ordering my salad to get it. With all the traffic coming in and out of equinox, this place is a mob scene during lunch hour. There are plenty of other places around to get a custom salad (mixed greens, Alonti, to name a couple) without having to waste your life waiting here. Add to that, all those extras on the salad really add up in price so I don't consider it a great value either. I will be taking my salad business elsewhere...

    (2)
  • Kelly A.

Oh Freshii you disappointed me! I should start off by saying I actually really like the food at Freshii. I've tried several "healthier for you fast food" restaurants and Freshii is the only one I've found that has that perfect marriage of great ingredients and flavor. I find it to be MUCH more flavorful than Protein Bar and in particular like the ability to build my own. I've made some really delicious wraps and salads and have always been impressed in particular with the range of ingredients and delicious dressings. My frustration comes with the ordering process. Basically you fill out a slip of paper with your selections and your name, hand it to the order taker then pay and wait. Generally the biggest hassle is that at peak times it can be a bit crowded and there are few good places to stand where you don't clog traffic but can still hear your name. Given that everything is made to order you do generally end up waiting a little bit. It's not ideal but generally if things are going as they should it is annoying at worst. Today though was worse than normal. I generally try to make note of who was ahead of me in line so I have a rough idea of when I should be making my way toward the pick up counter. Today I watched as a good dozen people who were behind me (many of whom had ordered wraps like I had) got their food and still my name wasn't called. I politely explained this to the guy at the pick up counter and he mentioned there had been a mix up with some of the slips. I asked him if he could at least make sure mine was in the queue and he didn't look and just assured me it was coming. From that point SEVERAL more wraps came out before mine and then he FINALLY went to check on mine. And then there were still more wraps before mine finally came up. (And given that it is not the quickest place to begin with I found myself waiting a good 20-25 minutes.) I understand mistakes happen, but it's safe to say that for most people coming in on our lunch breaks we don't have a lot of time to eat and are generally in a hurry. Given that it was pretty obvious that I was standing around MUCH longer than usual it would have gone. Personally it would have gone a long way if he had expedited mine once it was clear there was some kind of mixup. It would be nice if they at least wrote the time your order was placed on the check so in the event of a slip up, like today, it would be easy to remedy the problem.

This place is awesome. I came down here to renew my license once and stopped here to grab a salad before heading back to work. It was soooooo good compared to what we have available at 600 West for lunch (Ahem... Bar- I mean Snarfs). I mean it's not worthy of it's own trip, but I just like that it's quick and easy and healthy.

$11 for a salad. The "extras" I paid dearly for: Tofu, avocado.. were either hidden or scant. That's lame as hell. I got the same salad at Mixed Greens on Lake St. for $7.75. And the tofu and avocado were plentiful! I will be back to try the bowls though. Of course, I gotta save up my pennies! And I'm not splurging on the "extras.' It aint worth it.

I went to Freshii for the first time for lunch today. There are a couple things that I keep in mind during a restaurant experience: 1) the taste of the food, 2) decor/store experience, and 3) price. I put the taste of the food above everything...a restaurant with shitty food is shit...no exceptions. Yeah, it might be decked up like a palace, might offer you all you can eat, or might be located right next to your house, but bottomline its the taste that matters. When I first walked in, I was immediately struck by the fun decor of the place. The place is specially designed for carryout. The simplistic coloring of light green and white as well as the menu/mini clipboards that allowed customers to tick off or choose what they wanted to eat were all very memorable. The fresh greens I saw out of the corner of my eye only added to the good impression this place was making on me. Overall, great marketing The food items? Cold subs, noodles, or rice mixed with the toppings of your choosing. I ordered the Spicy Noodle Bowl w/ some extra topping of grilled marinated steak. Price: a little bit expensive for a lunch with the topping especially, but maybe the "fresh" ingredients can vouch for that. Taste: Now here was a little problem. There is a very similar dish in Korean cuisine called Bibimgooksoo. I swear...they are VERY similar but what Bibimgooksoo has that the spicy noodle bowl does not is taste and spice. The spicy noodle bowl was -"bland"- The marinated steak topping proved to be a great addition. I had trouble finishing the box of noodles because I ran out of the tasty steak topping. (They do give you a fair amount to eat for lunch which is perhaps a good thing). So maybe this warrants a small change to the ingredients of the spicy noodle bowl. Three stars...for now.

This place blows. My lemongrass noodle soup was flavorless and the noodles stuck together in lumps. My friend's burrito was dry and disgusting. Both items were teribly overpriced. If you see one of these establishments, RUN don't walk the other way

  • Nicole K.

I enjoy the wraps here, but the pricing is just ridiculous. I'm sorry but $4.00 for 2x chicken (which is about 5 little smurf nuggets) and $1.25 for a fairy dust sprinkle of goat cheese, totaling to an $11 dollar wrap...well, there's something wrong here. I am honestly not exaggerating when I say this is a small wrap that, yes tastes good, but costs more than pretty much any other lunch option in the area. Plus, get this - I literally counted 5 corn bits in my wrap today.......I mean, what?

    (2)
  • Sarah Z.

I came here today for lunch and got the lemongrass soup which had way more than my suggested daily serving of veggies and will be enough for lunch tomorrow, or perhaps dinner. Let me sum up my experience for you in 5 words or less: Uncomplicated Speedy Fresh Yummy Plentiful

I went here today because I was feeling healthy and really wanted a salad. As soon as I arrived I was given a tablet and an order card to begin constructing my salad. After putting it together it was around 10$, and not wanting to spend that amount on lunch I decided to go with the wrap option instead. I got the Buffalo Chicken wrap, because in my opinion, one can never go wrong ordering this in a new place when you can't decide what to get. Well I was wrong. You can go wrong ordering this at Freshii. I bit into the fairly large wrap and did not get any chicken in the first bite. Undeterred I continued taking bites hoping that maybe the chicken were in a big clump further in. To my dismay there was less then 1/2 oz of chicken in a 24 oz wrap. Maybe the wrap wasn't 24 oz, but the ratio of 1 parts chicken 50 parts salad still holds up. I'm not over exaggerating even a little bit. It tasted like shredded carrots and celery every single bite!! My coworkers thought it was a veggie wrap! I'm getting even madder the more I think about it. I will be packing my lunch the rest of the week because of my bad experience here. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

Went there again for the third time in two weeks. Not only is it healthy and delicious, but the staff is friendly and most accommodating. Prices are good. Product is fresh. Taste in outstanding. Always leave feeling just full enough, but not with too much that I need an instant nap once I get back to the office. I will be a frequent customer.

If I could eat at Freshii every day, I would! I think it is the best value in the Loop, and the options are endless. I love ordering the veggie soup and adding lemon juice. I love the salads with quinoa. I love the brown rice bowls. Basically, I love having the choices, the fresh food, and the value. A two pound salad with goat cheese and avocado and 15 veggies and quinoa (my personal style) for 10 dollars in downtown? It's 2-3 meals worth, and it's delicious. I did have a couple of experiences where items were missing from my orders. I emailed to let them know, and I got a quick reply apologizing. Since then, Scott has always been responsive, and the items have been almost perfect every time. He even offered a free meal to make up for it and then offered to provide meals for our non-profit at a training! What a nice, decent guy. Oh, and their frozen yogurt is the best around. It tastes like real yogurt, and it's fabulous with mango and coconut (you get two toppings). ETA-- I often order online. It's super easy, fast, and great for group ordering.

I have been looking everywhere for a place like this! Whole wheat wraps, brown rice, organic fresh ingredients!!! The food here is really good and the ladies at the counter were super friendly. It is not cheap, but you not paying for fast food ingredients. I wish one was closer to my office in River North, but I will be back here for a burrito soon!

This place was a disappointment on every level. First, the location I went to (loop) did not have any seating space. I was hungry going in there and was looking to eating this "healthy" experience at a table that wasn't lined along the perimeters of the establishment. If you like eating on top of people this is your spot. Secondly, the food was even more of a disappointment. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and it reminded me of the Uncle Ben's version you can get at any local grocery store at a cheaper price. It had a very "TV" dinner taste, and it left me immediately regretting paying the $7 price tag. In addition, I ordered the large bowl of lemongrass soup in hopes it would help with a soar throat, but when I took the first sip I was extremely disappointed. The soup literally had no flavor, it was like I was eating a bowl of unflavored hot water. That was also $7+ I regretted spending. In conclusion, I will never be returning to this establishment. However, if you like paying for over priced TV dinners, and tasteless soups, this is the place for you.

I am not generally a salad fan. I am not one of those girls who starves herself by eating like a bunny rabbit - instead, I eat what I want and kill myself in spin class. It works out! However, once in a while my body cries out for something healthy and nutritious to eat, which brought me to Frushii. I decided to go crazy and make my own salad - spinach, grilled salmon, cucumber dill and sriracha, and a whole mess of veggies. I went to pick it up and the staff were SO nice and courteous, and it wasn't crowded at all! The salad itself was awesome - a great balance of ingredients and flavors, and I love that they give you so many options (e.g., dressing on the side, chopped or mixed, etc.) - as a bonus they gave me free flatbread! I'll definitely be going back here again, once I load up on burgers and bagels and my arteries cry out for relief...

Freshii is my go-to for lunch during the work week. Fresh salads, filling soups and friendly service. Admittedly it can get a little pricey, but I'd rather pay a bit more for healthy food.

This was my first time there and I have to say, the Fiesta salad, while tasty was fairly small and in no way filling. I would go to Corner Bakery next time and get their spinach and strawberry salad--tasty and filling.

I love oatmeal, so a new fresh/healthy inspired place opens near my office and I have to give it a try. The bottom line is that it isn't worth it. The oatmeal is of no better quality than Au Bon Pain around the corner, and while the topping selection is larger, you are charged extra for more than two, even if the topping is something like cinnamon. It also costs a lot more than oatmeal from other places. Perhaps I'm being cheap, but if I'm paying nearly 5 dollars for oatmeal, at least front me the cinnamon. I'm sure I'll never go back. Sorry.

This place is fucking terrible. The food is beyond bland and even the people working there know it! I once was asked by an employee who was standing outside what I thought of the food and I said "to be honest, its incredibly bland," to which the worker replied with a dropped voice, "yeah we know, even my boss knows, that's why I'm out here today, to encourage people to get our sauces every time they order." Well fuck. I have to pay extra for a sauce rather than having it already incorporated? Where the hell is Chef Ramsay when you need him to scream some sense into people, this food has no seasoning, not even salt or pepper! Today I ordered the "Ranchero Classic," I was greeted with a miniature burrito loaded with whole chunks of scrambled egg, the avocados were all the way at the bottom and were sweet! What the actual fuck. Oh and after I took one bite I had a mouth full of cilantro, I looked into the burrito and saw that under the eggs were whole pieces of cilantro, stem and all. Have you no decency to even chop that up?! Disappointed that Freshii gets customers and is even a chain. Raise your standards or your taste pallets.

I've been to this location a few times now, as it is to the closest to my office. I have to say that only the first time there did I not have something to complain about. Each time after, it is either one thing or another. Either the order isn't correct, they ring up the order incorrectly, etc. The most recent time I was at this location was just this past week and I went later in the afternoon, so only one person ahead of me. When I got up to the register, I waited a good 10 minutes before any of the 6 people behind the counter even acknowledged I was there. There was one woman behind the counter, right at the register, but she was more concerned about not being informed about some phone in order and getting her copy, so she had to make her calls to the owner or manager and complain to that person that she didn't get her copy of an order, INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMERS WAITING IN LINE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Is that a way to treat customers??? Very poor customer service at this location. I guess I'll have to find another if I want to go back to Freshii in the future.

I actually really enjoyed coming here. It was healthy, close to work, and I liked the selections - until today that is, when I found hair in my food! Disgusting! And considering how expensive a salad is at this place it was a total waste. Can't say I can ever look at their salads the same way again.

nice, fresh, tasty food but definitely over priced for what it is, especially if you make your own combo.

Excellent customer service. Upon entering employee said, "this isn't your first time here, is it?!" I completely appreciated being walked through the menu and options. This place is pricey but you are paying for high quality ingredients. At least the salmon is a generous portion if you choose it for the $3 up-charge. Great option for eating on the healthy side downtown.

I love having this new fresh and healthy food option around here instead of all of the fast food and typical sandwich places. I like to get the oatmeal with fresh fruit and a little brown sugar on top for breakfast and it's a good size too so you won't go hungry...and the customizable rice and noodle bowls are amazing...you can try a new combination everyday! Oh and they have great vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options for meals and snacks - plus fat free pro-biotic frozen yogurt!! Yummmm!

Love healthy food that is ready quick. I go here for lunch when I want a tasty healthy meal. Good portions but can be really crowded and takes a while to get your food sometimes. Also the add-ons can add up quickly so it can get pricey easily.

I give 5 stars on a comparison from like-situated restaurants, such as Cosi or Au Bon Pain. Certainly, the quality is not that of a white-table cloth restaurant, but it is tops (in my opinion) for this type of food. I was surprised to see the bad reviews, but I guess I always go at odd times, such as 11:30 or 2:00. I went once at 12:30 and would have to agree that it is a bit of a cluster-[explative] with the ordering process. That said, I enjoy being able to pick whatever I want to have my wrap, and I never fail to disappoint myself with the concoctions that I brew. I have yet to try one of their sandwiches/wraps that are pre-determined, but why would I when I can make it how I want? In addition, their options are quite thorough, incorporating numerous items that would never be found in a Subway, such as chickpeas, cilantro, grilled tofu, and spicy peanut sauce. My only regret is that my building is somewhat far away, and I can usually only hit this place up when I have a court hearing around 11 or 1. Here are my suggestions to make this place better: 1) frequent luncher card 2) computerized ordering station, thereby foregoing the filling-out-the-form process and avoiding the first round of checkout (also saves the restaurant money on employee overhead) 3) have some outdoor, cafe-style tables (might be impossible for city regs on clark st.)

I was offered a complimentary meal so I returned today. I had their Kale Bowl. This was a really good bowl but, again, probably could have used more dressing and protein. I got it with tofu instead of chicken this time so the tofu could have been crumbled up. Easier to miss tofu than chicken if it's in really small pieces. They allowed me be substitute quinoa for the brown rice, which I did and I liked that they offer that substitution. Everything was really fresh and healthy in the salad bowl. I would order it again but would probably need to order an extra side of the dressing and pay an extra 50 cents. Otherwise, it was really good.

The food is good as far as on-the-go lunch options come and the meat is good quality. But be warned- this place can get expensive FAST. The list of free ingredients doesn't extend very far beyond the basics. Anything else can range from 50 cents to $2 each. The next thing you know, you're spending $15 for a salad. Not exactly what I want to spend on fast food.

The meals I've had at freshii always live up to the name of the joint, and they deliver super fast to my office, so that's great. I'm writing in about the customer service. I had a completely minor issue (wanted noodles dressed, got dressing on the side in my delivery). No big deal at all. If I had been at home with access to utensils and a big bowl, I would have taken care of it lickety split, but since I was at work, I called and asked if I could bring it back and have them dress it for me. The young man I spoke to on the phone (Julian) was stellar -- and seemed generally concerned. I mean, it's just a little dressing, but he was really taking this seriously, which may sound silly, but it made a difference. When I got there (it's only a block and a half away from my office, so I actually have no business ordering delivery anyway), they hooked me up super quick, and I am back at the desk as I write this eating my yummy lunch! Thanks, Freshii!

I've come here a few times in the past few weeks, and will continue going back. Its definitely more than I usually spend on lunch- about $8 or $9- so I don't go more than once a week. (Although I get almost more than I can eat in one sitting for that price!) But, the staff is *extremely* friendly and helpful. I always "create my own", and service is FAST for a completely customized meal- I've never waited more than 2 minutes. The food is super fresh and healthy. I definitely know the taste won't appeal to everyone- its healthy. No added salts and sugars and dumping tons of dressing on to make it taste better. Brown rice instead of white rice. Etc. I happen to like healthy foods so I like eating at Freshii, but if you're used to even a "healthy" place like Subway that adds cheeses, loads of dressing, and fatty processed breads to their subs, you may need to get used to it. I plan on returning and bringing friends because of the fast, friendly service, and health value of their salads, wraps, rice/noodle bowls, and soups... only the price keeps me from going every day! Also- limited seating at this location, so it would be hard to go in a group during the lunch hour.

I absolutely love Freshii. At first it may seem a little overwhelming because there are so many options, but after your first trip you'll become a pro at ordering. My goal is to try every menu item and so far I am pretty close. If you like spicy food you have to try the Spicy Noodle Bowl. I like to add in chicken rather than eat the tofu! If someone were to ask me my favorite thing to order I would have to pick the Warrior Chicken Bowl or Fiesta Burrito. The portion size of the salads/bowls/soups/wraps are huge. I wish I had the will power to try and save some of the food for another meal, but I never have a problem eating my entire meal because it so good! Also, make sure to grab a cookie by the register! If you haven't tried Freshii you should as soon as you can! The options are endless, and the food is healthy!

Pure crap. I've been to Freshii at least three times now. Despite my better judgment I keep thinking, "maybe the last time was a fluke and the food will get better". No such luck. I'm a life long vegetarian. I'm accustomed to seeking out healthy alternatives to standard fast food places and fat and sugar laden down town restaurants. Freshii is not it. At issue are both price and flavour. For heaven sake, someone introduce these people to spice and flavour. Healthy all natural foods do not have be bland as hell. And price. You practically have to seek financing for a bowl of flavourless soup or a sad, tasteless salad or wrap. Really, $9.00 for a bowl of vegetable soup that taste like someone poured hot water over a bunch of broccoli and served it up as lunch. I'm done. Never again. I work way too hard for my money to spend it on this crap. I'd rather walk all the way to the southwest loop to Native Foods Cafe. The prices are comparatively high but at least there I get what I pay for - delicious, flavourful food that's healthy. Freshii I don't know how the hell you stay in business.

I really wanted to like this place as I am all for a healthy option in the loop. However, I ordered the Antioxidant crunch salad. Sounds yummy right? However, when I got back to my office I opened the container only to find a huge bowl of whole spinach and a few small pieces of chicken, almond slices and blueberries at the bottom. Not really what I was expecting. Where is the crunch? Would have been much better with a little less spinach (but chopped not whole pieces) and more crunch ingredients. I may give this place one more try but I am not going to go out of my way.

I have been here several times and LOVED it. In the past I have gotten the customized wraps and been very impressed. However I went in yesterday, ordered a customized salad and was so disappointed. For $14, I was expecting great quality ingredients. The spinach in the salad was very watered down making the entire thing pretty much inedible. I am willing to pay for premium ingredients when I believe them to be worth it, but this was not.

Good salads, like the whole build your own option. Little pricey for what you get. Seems to be a lot of lettuce with not so much in terms of toppings you get.
