I don;t know why anybody would go here when Luke's is SO much better. It's really not even close. The lobster here tastes like it has been frozen for a decade.

I had a great experience here! Came in with 13 people and the guy that served us came out with our food in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this place! The lobster roll was absolutely mouthwatering delicious. The server was very enthusiastic in giving us recommendations and we got free samples of their clam chowder. The rolls are expensive but you get your money's worth of juicy sweet lobster meat! Must try if you are in the area!

I had the Chicago lobster roll and it was pretty delicious. My coworker compared it to a potbelly sandwich because it has those spicy hot giardianera, but overall really good! Also had the hush puppies, but i just thought they were ok. A little too hard for my liking. Also, AMAZING customer service. We waited a little longer than we should have and they gave me and my two coworkers a fully stamped frequent buyer cards for us to get free lobster rolls the next time! Definitely worth a try!

These guys are killing it. Their new location is awesome (very clean and bigger than the old Gold Coast location where the building got sold) and the food and service are even better. My favorite lobster roll is the Mexican, topped with fresh avocado, cilantro, salsa, lettuce, mayo and a dash of salt and pepper while my husband loves the traditional lobster roll - both come with a tasty cup of coleslaw. They also let us sample the lobster bisque and clam chowder (both were delicious) and they have Coke products so you can't go wrong. A must try for tourists and locals for lunch or dinner!

Okay lobster rolls for Chicago. Friendly service too. I'll be back when there's another groupon deal.

I hadn't ever been here before and my coworker and I went here for lunch. Oh man was this place good! I ordered the lobster salad and some hush puppies and she ordered a lobster roll (which is their most popular item). The salad had just the right amount of lobster so that it wasn't overwhelming. The lobster tasted fresh light. Definitely a meal that I ate without hating myself afterwards. I don't remember a whole lot about the hush puppies. They were good, not too memorable one way or another. The guy working at the counter was really great though. He didn't do anything so out of the ordinary but you could just tell that he liked his job and wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed their lunch there. He was very helpful explaining the whole menu and even stopped back around halfway through to see how we liked everything. It's always nice to grab a quick lunch somewhere the people don't act like they hate their job! So great job Da Lobsta

Boy was I disappointed by this place. I guess you get what you pay for. $13 for your lobster roll but all the meat was on top of the sandwich so you really aren't getting too much lobster at all. Bread was dry. Mac and cheese: TERRIBLE. Not cheesy, not salty enough, couldn't taste the lobster. Service: Great and super friendly. Too bad they don't have a better product to sell. Even the worst restaurants in Boston have a better lobster roll than this. You're a lobster focussed restaurant; you could do SO MUCH better.

My friend and I had a late lunch (around 1:30PM) at Da Lobsta on a weekday. There was no wait and the food was really good. I am a big fan of a restaurant that focuses in on doing just a few things really well, and that's what I like about Da Lobsta. I'm from Connecticut and so for me, the only weird part was having a cold lobster roll (that's called Massachusetts style back in my neck of the woods.) The chowder was creamy and rich. The star of the meal was definitely the hush puppies with aioli for dipping. Great spot and they are executing it well!

Being from Belize and used to fresh seafood right out of the ocean, I admit to being a seafood snob. To get good lobster here, you almost have to go to a fine dining place or specifically a seafood restaurant; I've never seen a casual or carry out place like this, so I was intrigued by the idea. After a successful food truck and locations in West Loop/French Market and the Gold Coast, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a Da Lobsta has opened in River North! A cute little store front across from Lyfe Kitchen, I couldn't wait to try it...and I was not disappointed. First, when I walked in, there was only one other customer sitting at one of the high top tables. The young lady at the counter asked if it was my first time, and she walked me through the menu. They have a variety of options, and I was interested in trying the crab roll (blue crab!) or the shrimp roll. Yet, being my first time, I felt that I just had to have a lobster roll. They offer several different kinds (Greek, Asian, Mexican, Indian, etc...) And a "gold coast" roll, with lobster, blue crab AND shrimp! (For $28!!) Keeping it simple, I opted for the traditional. With a roll you can order fries or chips, yet I love a good lobster bisque, so when I saw that on the menu, ordered a cup. (They also have clam chowder.) I selected a bottle of green tea, asked for and received a cup for ice, and was told to have a seat to wait for my food. Not five minutes later, she brought out my soup, shortly followed by my roll. The lobster bisque was fresh, creamy, rich, and delicious! My only comment would be that I was disappointed that there were no chunks of lobster in it. There were very tiny and mean tiny bits, but considering my roll had two nice, long pieces of lobster right on top of the roll enticing me anyway, I broke them up, dropped them in my soup, and voila! Just how I liked it. Now for the roll... The traditional comes with tarragon mayo, garlic butter, and heavenly lobster pieces, on a roll that reminded me of a folded piece of Texas toast, yet softer. It was a delicious sandwich! It also came with a small cup of cole slaw which I tasted, but I was perfectly happy with the lobster bisque and the sandwich. By now, several others had come in, mostly for carry out. (The space has two regular tables, several of the high top tables, as well as a counter in the window.) I was glad I came early, because I could easily see the place filling up quickly. At almost $24 for what I ordered, I won't be having this for lunch too, too often, yet the young lady also gave me a punch card (after checking on me), for a free roll or salad after the 10th punch. And the best part? Multiple rolls or salads equals multiple punches! Not one punch per visit like a lot of places!! They have chopped salads which I look forward to trying, as well as shrimp or lobster tacos; I definitely see a crab roll in my future, and I know my family would appreciate the lobster mac & cheese!! I got a carry out menu to take home. In other words, I thoroughly enjoyed my 1st visit, and I will be back!

I LOVE this place! the food is amazing and fresh, there was a time when I went there 3 days in a row it was just that good! It's also BYOB. Everything on the menu is good, you just can't go wrong here.

You'd think a place that advertises itself as a purveyor of lobster rolls would be on their game and have plenty of stock ready for the lunch crowd. Not sure if today was an off day or not, but those of us in the to-go crowd waited close to 25 minutes for our food. The ladies up front were doing their best to keep it together, while the guys in the kitchen took their sweet time. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. The food left a lot to be desired. I got the traditional lobster roll, which seemed to be lacking the tarragon mayo that they advertise as being on the sandwich. The bun was so salty that the sandwich was almost inedible. Got a cup of the 'lobster bisque' which was lukewarm and blah. I should've went next door and got a pint of heavy cream and chugged it...comparable consistency and flavor. Zero-to-little lobster in a lobster bisque? It was lobster colored though (eye roll)... Best part of the meal was the Cape Cod chips, which come prepackaged and can be bought at any grocery store. Coleslaw was pretty decent as well. All yours for $24!!! Never going back again.

I normally only post when I find a fabulous new spot to recommend. This is not one of those times. I had the New England clam chowder and the lobster n' Mac. The clam chowder was very watered down and I practically had to go fishing for the clams. The Mac n' Lobster was just ok but nothing spectacular. My boyfriend had the traditional with double meat added and it was also just so so. His side of cole slaw was bitter and tasted like it was old. All in all not worth the $40 bill for fast food fare.

Got to love a place with hot sauce on every table and coke in glass bottles! BIG pieces of lobster in the traditional role and the bread was a dream. They had fries when I was there, seasoned nicely and crinkle cut, though I didn't see them on their menu. My sandwich came with a small side of coleslaw. Cute place for a quick bite.

Decided the check this place out after purchasing a groupon for it. Was not disappointed. The portions were healthy, and they had a variety of different options of types of seafood (lobster, crab, shrimp) as well as flavorings. Honestly one of the major selling points was the manager. He was so genuinely nice and honestly seemed concerned that we enjoyed our meal. So not only was the food good, but now I want to go back just to support this person's business!

Love Da Lobsta! Didn't know they did BYOD here, the manager let me know - Isaiah who was super nice! Will totally come back here again. Glad they opened up a new location.

Lobster rolls and clam chowder - the best I've had since leaving Massachusetts a gazillion years ago. I live in Pismo Beach CA "the clam capital" of the left coast. Can Da Lobsta open there?? We need you. desperately!!

I almost never write reviews, but today I had dinner at Da Lobsta on Clark in River North, and the guy working there was SO wonderful and polite. On multiple occasions he went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our experience - not just our food. I wish I caught his name!

We saw you guys for the first time at the Food Truck Festival on Sat in Schaumburg. We ordered the traditional lobsta roll. The garlic roll was extremely tasty but very disappointed in the lobster topping, it was served cold :( Nothing special, just like any seafood salad with mayo from the grocery store. Save your $14.

Where's the meat?????? I mean, where's the lobsta? I had heard all kinds of hype about how this place serves great lobster rolls, and being curious I though I'd try it myself. So one day after work I make my way over here to this small hole in the wall. Man was it packed! And lots of catering trays on the way out the door. I was ready for some delicious seafood! Unfortunately there just wasn't that much to taste. For the $$$ price I got mac & cheese with a couple of pieces of lobster but really not much. I expected a bunch more. I also tried the lobster roll and really did not enjoy it. The lobster was bland, like it was frozen, thawed and heated but not flavored beyond the sauce that was poured over it. Man, and this is just my opinion, if you are desperate and you need a lobster fix you can come here, but just know that there ain't much lobster in your food and what you do get you probably won't be tasting much.

I took my girl here last night and I most definitely will be returning, great customer service and great food, the traditional lobsta roll was great and so was the lobsta Mac and cheese, my girlfriend had the Chicago style lobsta roll and lobsta chowder! Great great place to visit!

I have been waiting since last summer to catch the Da Lobster food truck but after countless try's and standing in long lines during lunch hour. I finally was able to try the lobster roll. I will say I had high expectations for the roll but those expectations were slightly let down. The roll was very good however it seemed as though we received the bottom of the barrel lobster pieces. The slaw that was on the side is for a acquired taste buds. For $16 including tax I think it should've had more of something. The flavor was missing from the roll. Overall I don't think I will be trying this location again, a slight let down for me.

The staff is really awesome. Isaiah gave us some great recommendations. He had us try some of the more unique lobster rolls since my wife and I have had plenty of traditional rolls in New England. I had the Chicago style with hot giardianera. It was amazing. He gave us samples of the clam chowder and lobster bisque. Both great. The clam chowder is particularly good and not the usual flour sludge you find outside of the northeast. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I have been wanting to try and finally went for dinner. The original lobster was so delicious and the staff so pleasant and kind. Offered us samples of the chowder and brought us an order of the hush puppies, free of charge. Everything was well prepared and extremely tasty; will be returning soon for sure.

I have had my eye on this place for a while now and finally pulled the trigger tonight. I got the traditional roll to go. It took less than 5 minutes to prepare and it cost $14ish with tax and everything. All in all it was good, not great. The bun was a little too greasy and a little too few lobster meat pieces. I will not be returning.

  • Tony D.

This place was mediocre at best. The most disappointing was the lobster mac. The noodles were so overcooked, it was almost impossible to tell they were noodles. The cheese sauce was decent (hot and creamy), but it was bland. The bread crumbs did not add any crunch or texture at all, as it had the appearance of saw dust. The amount of lobster was definitely on the lighter side, but for $10 what do you expect? All in all, not going back.

I guess Da Lobsta is popping up in multiple parts of downtown/city center. I strolled around looking for a nice meal before a full warm Friday evening of drinking was to take place. Didn't want anything fancy but something quick that would hit the spot. I didn't realize this joint was open yet until I walked up a little closer and saw people inside. The setup is just about the same as the Gold Coast location I hit up a couple weeks ago. Prices are pretty much the same as well. I just went with the regular lobster roll ($12) as it was cheaper than the other stuff. My buddy joined me soon after and got the same thing and loved it. The 2 cute girls working the counter was quite nice and got the food to us pretty quick. Good location for Da Lobsta.

Obsessed. It's byob but there's a cvs around the corner if you need a to grab a beer to go with you delicious lobster roll! The decor is a *bit* kitsch, but the food is pretty authentic. The bread is spot on. Reminds me of the lobster rolls you can find on the way out to the hamptons! YUM

First time at the new River North location. But 4th time eating at a Da Lobsta restaurant. FOOD: Ordered the traditional lobster roll (tarragon mayo and garlic butter) and a surf and turf lobster roll (tarragon mayo, Apple smoked and maple glazed bacon) -- both rolls were $12.95. The traditional was good but couldn't really taste any garlic flavor. The surf and turf was good as well but the bacon would have been better if it was crispier. Both rolls were tasty but seemed to have less lobster than the other location I've visited. The roll was warm and toasted nicely. We also shared an order of old bay seasoned fries. Good and crisp and not overly seasoned (actually could have used more old bay). SERVICE: We experienced quick service and the lady working working the counter was very friendly. She even came to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals. OVERALL: we will probably stop in again if we are in the mood for lobster rolls. The one thing that would make this better would be to have more lobster meat.

  • Kendall N.

The lobster roll traditional style was tasty as they buttered the slice of toast on the inside which was warm and the filling was cold. It was small but again, you are paying for lobster so don't expect the sandwich to be huge. Also tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese and that was very good as well. It tasted like bechamel sauce. Also tried the Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque. These items were nothing spectacular. If I ever visit Chicago again I'd probably want to go back here for the main entrees.

Found this place when when me and a friend went to a food truck fest and boy the lobster rolls are amazing. I feel like the quality of the food is really good so we decided that we should go to the restaurant and that was a good choice. With going to the restaurant u get a lot more to choose from then just the things you find on the food truck we had the lobster roll the Chicago style lobster roll which is a spicy version and lobster mac and cheese everything was amazing and the service was pretty good time I have no complaints about this place I would return here instead of stalking the food truck

If you are visiting during the lunch hour expect a wait for the food. This place is packed around 12pm, yet well worth the wait. I've ordered the Lobsta Mac and Cheese from the food truck and decided to visit an actually resturant. In general the Lobsta Mac and Cheese is very creamy and tasty and could use a pinch of salt, yet the amount of meat is very satisfying. During my visit, I ordered the Lobsta Mac and Cheese and a lobsta-less roll. I just wanted some bread to accompany my pasta. When I got back to my office, I noticed both my roll and mac and cheese were lobsta-less! I called the restaurant, and they had a new order sent right to me. I was shocked and extremely pleased with their customer service. I'll definitely be back to try the salad and of course the roll (with meat).

I love this place!! I want to try the other sandwiches but I just love the traditional so much that I can't find it to try the others. I think I might not eat all day so I can have two of them. LOL Friendly service and enough food to make you full. I ordered hush puppies thinking I might need something else but the sandwich was enough.

I love seafood, so decided to give lobster rolls a try. I got the original roll for lunch. It came with a generous portion of lobster in a garlic bread style bun. I found the lobster lacking in flavor, though that might be different with the nontraditional rolls. Biggest downside was the bun, which was extremely oily. The service was fast and staff friendly. But I would rather get a good chicken sandwich for less.

Love Da Lobsta's products! I have been a fan since they first opened in Gold Coast and I am pleased to have them in my neighborhood now! I am a fan of their clam chowder and lobster tacos. This new location is beautiful inside with very tall ceilings. I was also told that this location is BYOB which makes a nice alternative for the area.

I finally got to try Da Lobsta after seeing it in a friend's snapchat! We ordered a lobster grilled cheese, the lobster mac and cheese, a traditional lobster roll, and a side of fries. First of all, all the food was plenty for two. My favorite out of all of them was the grilled cheese. The bread was garlic toasted bread, and it was dripping with cheese and so freaking delicious. Definitely get it! The lobster roll was good, too. It tasted like the grilled cheese but without the cheese. We got the traditional but you can get an Asian version, Indian, etc. Don't get the Mac and cheese! It literally had no flavor. We added salt, pepper, tarter sauce, and finally hot sauce and it still was pretty bland. Overall, good food although pricier than your average fast food. I would go again just to get that grilled cheese. Yuuuummmm!

It was late on a Friday night and the event we attended didn't feed us...so we were so lucky to pass by Da Lobsta just before closing time. My friend got the Traditional, I got the Skinny. It really hit the spot. The lobster was tasty and generous, the veggies were fresh, my friend liked the tarragon mayo and the sauce and I was thrilled that they had an option that was light and filling for me. The woman at the counter was a sweetheart who was happy to walk us through the menu and tell us her favorites. Who would've expected good lobster in Chicago? Yum, yum, yum. Thank you!

I go here often for the lobster roll - when I want to celebrate payday, when I have a bad day - I'm basically here a lot because the salty, creamy, buttery deliciousness of this roll makes everything in the world seem a little better. Yes its $15 for a roll, chips and a drink but it is lobster and there are other lobster rolls in the city that charge more for less. I also really like that they don't coat the lobster in mayo, the mayo is amazing and elevates the dish but its spread on the roll directly which I prefer. They also have punch-cards so make sure to ask for one!

Traditional lobsta roll was deliciousness. Also got a side of the hush puppies, that are delicious, that have a nice soft heat to them and come with a dipping sauce. Reasonable prices for the amount of lobsta meat.

Great place. Great food. The gentleman who was working the cash register today was super friendly and helpful. I noticed a negative review that pertained to small portions but I was plenty full after lunch and I am a big guy. My wife and I each got a roll, and we split a soup and an order of hush puppies. Despite being delicious we could not finish everything as we got full. Now it is Lobster so this is not something I can afford to do for lunch everyday, but I will definitely be back to try some of their other rolls. Overall a great experience that both my wife and I would give 5 stars.

I got to Da Lobsta before the lunch rush and still had to wait about 15 minutes to place my order because the kitchen was so backed up. We had a Groupon, and the Groupon included a pop. The pop machine was broken so we asked if we could have a can and we were told no. It's worth saying that I am a born and bread Midwestern gal, so I don't expect much from seafood. So that's why it was so surprising to me when I got below-average Midwestern seafood. The lobster was cold and rubbery - couldn't bite through it when I took bites of my roll. Da Lobsta -- you can keep your roll, but you owe me a pop.

Just as good as the the cedar location and they are very accommodating to the groupon. I would like to mention how polite the front guy working today (July 1st) around 8pm was. Kudos to those people that treat customers with respect!

After living in Boston & New England for close to 10 years, I've had my fair share of great lobster and its tasty variations. Nothing beats a fresh lobster off the Maine Coast nicely prepared, especially the rolls. Miss those days of summer Having said that, after moving to Chicago, had an urge for Lobster with summer upcoming. So stopped by Da Lobsta after a Groupon deal. Glad we did. The lobster roll was great, and reminded me those days off the Atlantic coast. Buttered new england rolls, nicely prepared lobster, and decent amount of food. Very reminiscent of the rolls found out east. Also had the clam chowda, and it's much better than some of its Chicago colleagues. Rich and creamy, not a hint of clam but some clams pieces. Only suggestion is to add more clams. The manager was super nice, and let us sampled the Lobsta Mac 'n Cheese, Lobster Bisque which was also decadent and a good portion of lobster was evident. He was also friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even talked about the authenticity of the lobster rolls, and I can confirm it's the real deal and would expect the same if I was back in New England. Would come back for a taste of New England summer

Even though I've been to Da Lobsta several times (this location and the one off of State), last night's experience was the best. In prior visits, I found the service to be a bit lackluster, but for essentially a "fast food" lobster joint, I didn't expect much or think much of it. It's funny how when you get really good service somewhere, you recognize what was missing before and how much of a difference it makes (I know, I know...hindsight). Last night, I went with some friends, and we received excellent service from Isaiah. I even learned a few things about the menu I never knew before. For example, Isaiah told us that you can order double meat on your roll, or you can combine it with with either shrimp or crab (or whatever combo you want). I never knew that, and actually, I recommend this, because while the lobster rolls are good, I do find them to be a bit scant in meat sometimes. Isaiah also recommended the hush puppies as a side (which I hadn't had before--and were great), and brought us some samples of the Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder. The bisque was a bit bland, but the chowder was great, especially if you like it chunky. Even though we got there at 8:30 and they closed at 9:00, Isaiah did not rush us out of there and was extremely friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. He wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable experience, and he gave us some insight regarding other menu items, so I will definitely be back to try something other than the rolls. And speaking of the rolls, the nice thing about them is that they are not one big hoagie roll slathered in mayo with minimal lobster like you sometimes find. The bread is more like Texas toast, and the garlic butter used on the bread is pretty good. The mayo flavoring is also good and isn't overwhelming. That said, if you don't like your lobster roll "dry," I find that a side of the drawn garlic butter adds a bit of flavor and juice to the roll. Without it, the sandwich is a bit dry for my tastes, because as I said, the lobster isn't dropping in mayo (which I think is a good thing). It all just depends on what you like. The lobster-to-bread ratio isn't bad, but as I said, I may try double meat or try adding crab or shrimp to it next time, as sometimes it is a bit scant for me. As an added bonus, this place is BYOB, so if you are looking for some pretty affordable lobster, cheap booze (that you bring), and a chill environment, check this place out. You could have a fun little date here without breaking the bank, yet still feel like you're getting out and doing something a bit different. And in case you forget your corkscrew--fear not. They have one behind the counter, so you won't have to go without your wine. :) Overall, last night's experience definitely motivated me to get back there more often. Thanks to Isaiah for the excellent service and for making it a fun (and informative) experience. Keep it up.

Left the office lookin for someplace new. Spotted a Lobster Roll being eaten at a patio. Looked good. Checked the menu. $20. No thanks. Kept walking. Ten seconds later spotted a Lobster Roll sign. It was a sign. Checked it out. Exactly what we were looking for. Great atmosphere: Deadliest Catch on the tube (haha), Zeppelin on the speaks. Great service: manager was really friendly. Great food: super succulent lobster. Can't wait to go back and try the other styles!

My husband ate a lobster for the first time last year when we were in Kennebunkport, Maine. He has been in love ever since. So when we were looking for food to order in he said he really wanted to try this place. He got a regular lobster roll, I got a skinny lobster roll and we shared some clam chowder. I really did think everything was very good. I won't lie, it's not as good as Kennebunkport but that may be impossible to beat! Especially for the price I would definitely order food from here again. It was a good lobster roll for a good price.

I've been wanting to try Da LOBSTA for a long time. I had the traditional roll. The roll was good, but the service was great! Very friendly and knowledgable. I would like to try one of the variations next time. I got my roll very quick and the staff gave me a sample of the clam chowder while I waited!

I went to the food truck rally today in Daley Plaza for lunch and I really wanted to try Da Lobsta, I heard about it and it has opened thru out the city, at least three I know of. I tried their famous lobster roll which is delicious, just the right amount of seasonings for this roll and the garlic and butter totally help. I also love their cole slaw, delicious. A must try, if you love seafood and don't mind buying it off a food truck, it is a treat.

We were pretty excited to see this place open up and promptly presented ourselves. I am always on the hunt for a great chopped salad and a chopped salad with seafood is yum! The problems we had with the chopped salad is that they were super cheap with the lobster on mine. My honey ordered double lobster and it too was pretty skimpy. We ordered both salads to go and suffice it to say that for over $30 for two salads... we should have been holding our tummys from how full we were rather than wondering why we were still hungry.

The good: The lobster rolls are tasty. Fresh garlic buttered bread smothered in big chunks of fresh lobster. There are several varieties to choose from if you want a break from the traditional roll The bad: It is expensive. Today I had a roll, bag of chips and ear of corn for just over $15. The ugly: Possibly the worst ear of corn I have had in a while. First off, it is about a third of an ear. Second, it was mushy. Third it was $2.00!

We were in the city and stopped in! Let me tell you, been to Maine the last two years and had lobster rolls there. They are quite good. But these truly ROCK! Tough to choose but one had traditional, another the Surf and Turf, and I had the Asian! DELICIOUS with really decent cole slaw as a side! Got my vote and I will be back to try the others. Shorter trip than going to Maine and more choices!

Ordered a lobster mac-n-cheese. It was VERY bland. they must have forgot the salt and seasoning. The lobster chunks were okay, the noodles were a little soft and a bit greasy. IT wasn't cheesy enough and costed more then a site down place. They need work, lots of work.

I came into Da Lobsta before work to pick up some lunch and I was so happy I did. Their classic lobster roll was exactly like my grandfather used to make when I was a kid. He even gave me a sample of their delicious lobster bisque to try.

How is it possible that my experience was so bad-I didn't find it edible? Husband and I stopped in at 1 pm on a Saturday. Place was totally empty. Ordered two traditional lobster rolls, side of cole slaw and pickles. Cole slaw tasted like pure vinegar. The rolls were 'Da gusting'! Tough lobster, ice cold, no seasoning or any detectable seasoned mayo, a roll drowning in butter and top it off with one bite with a fishy taste and I refused to swallow it. I'm a big seafood and lobster fan and I'm from the east coast. This heinous roll may be best used as bait to other fish. $30 in a basket of utter sadness and disappointment that went straight into the garbage. Consider yourself warned.

I took my girl here last night and I most definitely will be returning, great customer service and great food, the traditional lobsta roll was great and so was the lobsta Mac and cheese, my girlfriend had the Chicago style lobsta roll and lobsta chowder! Great great place to visit!

  • Sara K.

Thank you!

Yuuuummmm!

Traditional lobsta roll was deliciousness. Also got a side of the hush puppies, that are delicious, that have a nice soft heat to them and come with a dipping sauce. Reasonable prices for the amount of lobsta meat.

Got to love a place with hot sauce on every table and coke in glass bottles! BIG pieces of lobster in the traditional role and the bread was a dream.

    (5)
  • Justin R.

Obsessed. It's byob but there's a cvs around the corner if you need a to grab a beer to go with you delicious lobster roll! The decor is a *bit* kitsch, but the food is pretty authentic. The bread is spot on. Reminds me of the lobster rolls you can find on the way out to the hamptons! YUM

I took my girl here last night and I most definitely will be returning, great customer service and great food, the traditional lobsta roll was great and so was the lobsta Mac and cheese, my girlfriend had the Chicago style lobsta roll and lobsta chowder! Great great place to visit!

    (2)
  • Rielly M.

I stopped in here for lunch today and was met with great service and great food! Portion of lobster was a little small, but hey, it was great, fresh and delicious! Service was extra special. Enjoy!

I came into Da Lobsta before work to pick up some lunch and I was so happy I did. Their classic lobster roll was exactly like my grandfather used to make when I was a kid. It sent me back to school and I will definitely be back for more. Also the service was outstanding. The man working the counter was very kind and informative as well.

The service was awesome: We came in with family, including two little ones, and everyone was patient with us and even gave us some free samples! (Try the taco, it's amazing!) The lobster roll was delightful, not overly mayo-y, and huge chunks of meat!!

Some of the best in the city. I've tried the roll @ at French Market. Sandwich today... Soo good. Great service. Cannot wait to come back!

Lobster roll was amazing and the hush puppies were delicious as well worth the price. They give you huge pieces of lobster on a garlicy roll. The hush puppies are deep fried

Thank you!
