This is another awesome Polish deli where amazingly, you will spend a lot less on deli items as opposed to your local national chain grocery store. I love this store!

only been once but i'll be back for homemade pierogi that are very cheap (why make them yourself). sausage is good, not sure if they make/smoke them theirself though. don't worry if you don't speak the language of everyone else in there, you can find a translator

Good deli items, selection of Polish foods including Polish beauty items which were fascinating me- I don't even know what most of the stuff is as I'm not Polish. But they make $3 sandwiches! Go here for a sandwich at a low price. Everything is decent priced. The smoked salmon spread is awesome, so are the potato/cheese perogies aka Russian perogies. They have a huge meat selection, I don't eat meat but I see people like it, but there is no corned beef. The only thing I didn't like was how some of the food was stored. There were cooked foods completely out in the open, which is not safe. Food either has to be kept hot or cold, not just sitting there where anyone can cough on it. The store does not look very clean or modern overall, maybe needs some updating, too.

This deli is always super busy. Parking sucks but it's worth finding when you want a sandwich from here. They make it super fresh with your choose if meat and cheese. $3!! You can't go wrong. They also have delicious soups that they make from scratch and pierogies that you can throw in the microwave or something. Really nice people that work there too.

I came here today after eating some polish sausage at a friend's bbq over the weekend. I have never really been to any grocery stores in Portage Park, but I plan to come here often. I got some kielbasa wiejska (country sausage) and it is so great for bbq's! Seriously, if you have never had any, you better get some!!! It is $2.49/lb and are long sausages. They have a great selection of polish sausage and the prices are reasonable. I am going to try some other sausages the next time I go there. In addition to their deli, they also have a good selection of polish food. This is a small grocery store and they all speak Polish.

Excellent products...deplorable service!!! Reasonably priced homemade slaws, soups and salads to go--absolutely delicious. Produce and grocery items are of high quality, but at deli prices. Wonderful freshly baked breads and pastries. Wide variety of meats and cheeses which look to be fresh. However, you will experience interminably long lines on weekends. Plus, I never really get the feeling that they truly want Americans in there. Is it possible that they don't like us? Maybe they just want to keep it Polish. Either way, any adult from any culture can easily tell when someone is talking about them--right in from of them--in a foreign language. C'mon now! To do so is not only unprofessional and downright rude, but is also a low class way of insulting someone.
