The dumplings here are much better than the usual Chinese take-out.

Holy f***ing sh*t. So my food was decent, although the orange chicken was doused in sauce. It was overwhelming really, and the crab ragoon was a bit off. I ordered using the GrubHub app and there was some confusion with the address. When the delivery man called, I tried to explain it to him and he proceeded to scream into the phone. When he finally did arrive he honked all the way down the street and I had to walk across the street to get the food from him. He was very rude. Horrible service and I regret spending money at this place.

This was the closest Chinese food place nearby so I ordered. It is a very small place where you can't eat in, it's only pickup and delivery. The food is not the greatest. I ordered an orange chicken and there was few amount of chicken, it was more like dough dipped in greasy. I received 2 crab ragoon with my order and they were the worst I've tasted; seems like they were fried in oil that has been there for days. Overall do not go here. I took my business else where, Now I order from the king wok across the street next to chase.

This is some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I mean, comparing it to a place in a small town in Montana, with crazy red-orange sweet and sour sauce, China Phoenix is even worse than that place. One couldn't pay me to eat at this place again. On the other hand, the place in Montana had some very tasty, but weird, egg rolls, so I would eat there again.

I so wanted to give it 4 stars based on my first visit. I had BBQ pork egg foo young which was really tasty and had NO old grease taste. It didn't also have an excessive amount of gravy. The won-ton soup seemed actually homemade and have alot of fresh veggies in the soup. 2nd visit I ordered shrimp noodle soup. SO disappointing compared to the won-ton soup! It had NO flavor and was only noodle with tiny shrimp, not even a sprinkling of green onions or anything. I tried a few bites and threw it away. The Mongoloian beef was standard, a little sweeter than I like. Still this is MUCH better than Jason's Wok on Western. I'll keep going for the egg foo young and won-ton soup.(only)

The egg rolls are the best I've had in a restaurant of this type. The food is decent compared to other restaurants of this standing and they use fresh grease.

The closest, most decent Chinese place I used to go to was on Taylor St, near Pompeii. I was hurt when they closed down. Then CP opened up about 3 blocks from my condo. I was really hoping they were good... Egg Rolls (the benchmark I use for Chinese restaurants): 5 stars Food Overall (they give good portions...leftovers for 3 days): 4 stars Cleanlines: 5 stars Friendliness: 5 stars Service/Timeliness (they gave me a free order of crab ragoons 'cause of my 1st time order; was ready in 15mins): 5 stars ...My hope was rewarded. :D

Super fast service. Awesome egg rolls and the Empress Chicken is wonderful. Great value, huge portions for the price. Wonderful addition to the west side!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
