Only Boston Market remaining in the city now that the North Avenue location closed. This review is only for carry out food. Flavorful tasty rotisserie chicken!

I must say for a chain restaurant this place is great! The food came out hot and delicious. But what I was most impressed with was the great service! The people who work here are all very friendly and accomodating. Maybe they are all so happy because they are surrounded by comfort food all day. Whatever it is its working! Bonus points for how clean it is too!

Really good location. Good fresh food, the staff is very friendly, the place is very clean. Really good experience for a chain fast food place.

For those that want to revisit the gluttony of thanksgiving on a daily basis- this is the place to be. Forget Christmas and the cookies the Turkey is where its AT!!! The Chicken/mashed taters/stuffing combo is amazing AND you get a slice of heaven in cornbread flavor. Thank you boston market for that amazing goodness you call food.

The worker who cuts the chicken cut my whole chicken but left out the breast, his co-worker asked why he was leaving that piece out as did I and he told me it was "already there" even though I watched him cutting the whole time. The food is great because it's from Boston Market but that employee was very aggravating.

Anytime we're craving something "home cooked" we make the trek north on Ashland to Boston Market. Everything tastes good here. They have great combo deals that are all pretty cheap. Right now they have a deal that if you buy a family meal, for only $1.99 more you can get a WHOLE rotisserie chicken! All the people that work here have always been super nice. Food comes out quickly. The seats & tables are usually pretty clean.

Kind sir, I demand more MASHED POTATOES! Holy crap, I do love some Boston Market. Give me the side sampler with mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and one of the following options: Creamed Spinach, cinnamon apples or corn. Holy crap. Everyday is Thanksgiving at Boston Market. Their cornbread makes me squirm with glee. Sometimes I consider hiding under one of the tables until they close, and then I could gorge myself on all their wonderful food. I love BM.

Today was one of those days that I did not have dinner planned and was short on time. $32 for a dinner for 4 with 4 large sides, 1 1/2 rotisserie chicken, corn bread and a slice of cake for the little one. My bad. Did not check the bag in the drive thru. All hell almost broke loose. My 5 year old's dessert was missing.. I normally would not bother calling about a $2 slice of cake, but did so because my son felt it was very important to let their management know that someone dropped the ball. To be perfectly honest, as a mom, sometimes listening and agreeing when they are right is the only way to squash a tantrum before it erupts. He's all about justice right now. Everyone needs validation. Management totally rocked and surpassed my expectations. Thank you Boston Market!!! P.S, Sweet potato casserole. Love it!

Awesome!! Food was great. Adrienne was fantastic. Promote her! That awesome smile of hers should be the poster smile for all of Boston Market. I will be back.

My wife and I have a group of friends that live in Sweden. We're always discussing what places should we take them to when they come to America that are truly "American". After a trip to Boston Market it hit me, this is that place. Great comfort food with a nice staff and it's fast food. What isn't American about it?

I have to give this location five stars because I have not seen any type of service at any restaurant possibly ever, as I did here. ALL of the employees were in such great spirits, and all were so helpful. I love my homecooked meal, so this was just such a great place to dine.

Its a Boston Market. Years ago I loved this chain but after McDonald's bought them its been a slow flush down the toilet bowl. The food is okay; the service is okay. My biggest gripe is that they were very cheap with the gravy and they no longer let you sample the sides. I sort of felt guilty for eating here when there are soooo many small businesses in the area with better food. Lesson learned.

3pm in the afternoon and there is no macaroni, and waiting 5+min for gravy. Maybe this was a rare problem...corn bread and pumpkin pie were good and store is clean. Just plan your stock better so customers don't wait. Wish there were more veggie options for a meal, rather than side dishes.

They ran out of food? What? Is this KFC? They shut down the restaurant till Monday? That's just too weird. Oh well, maybe next time. Can't properly rate a place that shuts down due to improper planning.

Hey, it's fast food, but for me - it's definitely a step up for fast food. I really like their rotisserie chicken, which is probably what they are most known for. The sides can be hit or miss if they aren't fresh. Their sandwiches are decent, but I'd stick with the rotisserie chicken.

It's BM people. Who doesn't like Thanksgiving year round. So many different sides to choose from. Don't forget the cornbread roll. MMMMMMMMM Good.

WTF?!?!?!??! Just went there (first time in probably six months), ordered inside, 'tried' to buy a meatloaf sandwich....was told it would take TWENTY MINUTES. Um, yeah. Fast food, remember? None on hand. Get your shit together, folks. This was at 8 p.m. I cry BULLSHIT on the place right now.

I know...it is a chain. But I have a soft spot for some Boston Market. I love their sandwiches. I also like their dill potatoes with all my heart. As a matter of fact, can we start putting dill in more things. It is a totally underrated spice. Anyway, their soup is also very good.

For those other bachelors out there this is a hint. Call, order and pick up your Thanksgiving dinner. It's as easy as pie. Then bring it home, put it in the refrigerator and rest after all that work. I can feed anyone who drops by and still sleep late! I love Thanksgiving and I like Boston Market. The manager here is very nice and very accommodating, too.

Since my parents have never learned to cook well, I have to buy home cooked meals at places like Boston Market. Well, I consider myself lucky! Their mac n cheese is so cheesy and not overcooked even though it has been sitting in a bucket for hours. The mashed potatoes are creamy and just right. My only complaint is that I do not like their cornbread--not sure why I just don't. And the guy working the counter on Saturday night was more than helpful giving us as much food as possible for no extra charge! Thanks dude!

It's been years since I've eaten at Boston Market, but used to eat there on a somewhat regular basis. I remember it being pretty good in the past; however, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I had the chicken carver sandwich. The bread was so hard one the exterior that is was tearing the skin on he roof of my mouth and I had to tear top layer of bread off just to eat it. The inside of the bread was soft so not sure if this is how it always is or if the bread was sitting too long. The chicken was good but half the sandwich had a piece so thick it was hard to eat and the other half hardly had anything. Tomatoes were also not ripe and green in the middle. Sandwich lack any flavor. I could tell the sauce was good, but there was hardly any on the sandwich. Unfortunately I will most likely not be back.

I had to start visiting this location because they closed the location closest to me. (Rude!) I like the food... same stuff. The service could use some help though. They seem disorganized. For example, the order process is backwards from other locations I've been to. You walk up to the register, place your order & pay before your order is prepared. The first time I walked into this location, I walked past a few employees and stood near the food making area for, at least, 5 minutes without being addressed. When I finally asked if I could place my order, that's when they said "Oh... you need to order by the register." How is it that none of the 6-7 employees that all saw me standing there didn't say anything?? Like I said before... the food is good, the service needs help.

I love this Boston Market - I don't know who does the managing & hiring, but everyone who works here is so helpful and almost chipper. The service is INCREDIBLE - they are really on top of things! It's a clean space, clearly very well run, too.

Foods always good, the brisket was mug better than I expected. Service is fast, staff is friendly. The only complaint is that the food is never actually hot, just warm. I guess that's by design though.

A buddy of mine has always lovingly referred to Boston Market as "high quality chee-kun". He's always been a good buddy until recently, he's got a new girlfriend and he's one of those girlfriend guys but that's another story. How do I feel about this location is the bigger question. It's a nicer sit down chicken place then most other big chain chicken restaurants. Feels a little "industry standard" more so than welcoming. They have an ample amount of employees to fill the needs of their in store customers or drive through window. However their failures lie in the servings of food. Feels and looks more like the stuff served in a cafeteria setting and unlike a high school cafeteria there isn't any love from the employee in the serve so it is what it is. Small in size. Some fourteen dollars later and your left thinking.. I paid for that ?

As other reviewers have noted, the employees at this particular Boston Market location are extremely warm, welcoming, and friendly! Thank you for your upbeat attitudes and exceptional customer service! Keep up the good work! Oh, and the traditional comfort food keeps me coming here as well.

It's a bit out of the way, but it's tasty (I've always loved Boston Market's rotisserie chicken). Side dishes that I love: corn bread (with bits of corn! I heart them!), mashed potatoes, sweet mashed potatoes, corn (really tasty), mixed veggies, chicken noodle soup... Insider's tip: Always ask for extra gravy for your chicken (1 million extra calories, but who cares?! Delectable!). The beef sandwiches are decent, too. Chocolate bundt cake's not worth the calories (kind of boring).

I can't believe I'm reviewing boston market; I mean, it's a Chaim, right? I'm in sales and eat on the road on a regular basis. I stopped in here this afternoon and ordered rotisserie chicken breast along with a Side of steamed veggies. Standard food. Chicken was moist and veggies were not oily and had a good assortment. Main reason this is four star is because of staff; they're all very nice and constantly check in to make sure everything is ok.

I am a huge fan of southern, home-cookin' food - and Boston Market delivers on nearly every mark. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of this kind of food... makes Cracker Barrel food seem like it came from a 7-Eleven. I only wish I didn't feel like I was slightly kicked in the wallet a little too hard each time I come.

Boston Market is the only national-chain restaurant that I've been continuing to patronize ever since I've moved to Chicago. I've forgone 99% of national and regional chains because I've become a huge believer in "dine local and shop local," but for some reason I've not given up on BM. Currently they are promoting the two (2) for $20 complete meal; you get two (2) beverages, two (2) entrees, and two (2) desserts. Ok, that's enough to draw me in since I was at a nearby Salvation Army thrift store. The reason why I rendered three (3) stars is because the food is consistently good, but there's nothing special to it. What you have at BM isn't going to be the best you'll ever have in you life. That's just a fact, which I can attest! Everyone in this BM location is very friendly. The service there is always on point even though it's considering as "fast-food." Trust me, you won't receive such great service at a McDonald's. If you choose to do take-out, Google BM coupons or subscribe to their e-mail list. I personally have gotten lots of promo communications and coupons via their e-mails. You will save time and money through ordering online, decide your pick-up time, and pick your food up onsite.

This is one of my go to places when I feel like eating some fast food like rotisserie chicken. I know most people are not really a big fan of the Boston Market franchise but it is still one of my favorites. I prefer some chicken with some mashed potatoes and a side vegetables anyday over a McDonald's burger any day. Plus the service here is pretty quick and they always get my order correctly.

I hate to give bad reviews to a restaurant. Especially when so many people have rated it high, but I have to be honest with my experience. Pre-Turkey day. We come in to pre-order a Thanksgiving feast, and I will say, everyone was super nice. We substituted a few items, and left with a promising feeling. When they called me to verify the order, the substitutions were forgotten, but I kindly reminded the you girl and she fixed it over the phone. Everything was fine so far. Come Turkey day. They asked us to go through drive-thru, as they were using the drive-thru as a quick "pick up your order" system, which I was totally fine with. However, I get weary with drive-thru's because I have had some bad experiences. I was optimistic, but that feeling soon vanished. When I got up the the window, the young girl read over the wrong dishes. Again I wasn't frustrated, things happen, so I told them what substitutions were, and they hauled them fast. Here is where it all went South. The total was $109, but only had a $100 cash on my person, so I told the young lady "here is $100, use the cash and the remainder charge my debit." She responded with "of course no problem." I then noticed that she seemed a bit distracted talking to other employees, and sure enough, she swipes my card, but I noticed the cash was still in her hand. I told my wife to check the account. I tried knocking on the window but the girl ran off. During this time, my wife confiemed that they had charged the full amount, which was $109. I was okay with that, a mistake again, but hey, things happen. All they had to do was give me the cash back and I would have been on my way. However, as I knocked on the window trying to get someones attention, I see her talking to what seemed to be a line manager/supervisor of some sort, and noticed him take the cash and putting it in the register. He clearly saw me knocking on the window, but I think he was trying to mitigate the charge, when he could have just told me she had charged it and we would have been done. He finally opened the window, and before he could speak I was like "hey, you charged the full amount on the card, just give me the cash and we are good." He was then like "oh, I was going to tell you that, so I voided the transaction and charged the $100, plus the rest on the card like you originally wanted."This is where I got upset. Now this gentlemen, instead of telling me "hey, we made a mistake and charged the full amount on the card, can we give you back the cash, or would you like me to void?" But instead, he caused my account to be off balance by $109, voided it so it takes 5-7 days to clear, then recharges the order, takes my cash, and charges the rest ($4 not $9 oddly). Again, I get it. People make mistakes. And the money wasn't the issue. The problem was that he didn't not tell me first that a full charge had been made, and did not give me the option to take the cash. What if I had needed the cash? I had my money accounted for, and he caused a negative rift on my account? Who has to deal with that? I do. So now I had given up my cash, and had a charge on my card because I have to wait for a void to go through due to some other persons mistake. I spoke to the store manager, and she basically told me "We're sorry, but there is nothing we can do now. Now your food is at the door." She was technically right, what was done was done. However, she could have been a bit more comprehensive or tried to makes us happy. "Hey here's a gift card" or some type of compensation for our inconvenience, but also wasn't going to beg. She should have gone above and beyond. In my years in management, I was taught, that you do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. She basically was just like "Sorry, and your food is up there. Thanks. Bye." I don't blame the store manager entirely, though I do think the young man could have gone about it a different way. For one, you don't mess with a customers money. Never ever. But the real lesson is that the young manager could have shown some management skills, and defused the situation earlier. The least amount of complaints and escalations the store manager sees, the better it looks on you. He could have stood up initially and told me what had happened. Instead, he tried covering for an employee by voiding a debit transaction then charging the cash. Oh, by the way. The reason he had only charged $4 to the card after the $100 transaction, I was missing a pie. He also didn't tell me about that. By the way, word to the wise, never buy cold turkey for reheat at Boston Market. It was pretty gross. I have purchased warm plates in the past and they were great, but the reheat packages are gross. Never again...

I usually don't review chains, but I felt that this particular location Boston Market deserved the PR. I love Boston Market in general - comfort food to a T. The workers here were so on top of things and peppy, so they deserve the shout-out. That's all folks...keep up the great level of customer service!
