Stopped in for breakfast. It's okay. If I return, I'll try a cheezborger and chips cuz that's what they're famous for.

Love this place! Good time had and to be had! The staff is amazing. The drinks are great. We love the atmosphere it is warm and welcoming. It's the perfect place to wait for the Tall Windy dock!

Food is awful. I was totally shocked when I got my burger. Literally, meat and buns. No mayo, no lettuce, no tomatoe. Oh, and no french fries. Worst food I ever had at a restaurant. You're better off somewhere else

Over rated burger and underrated experience overall. A few more options would be nice and my polish was so plain and boring.

I got to tour the Navy Pier and met up with a friend. They absolutely love this place however, I wasn't too big of a fan. I ordered a steak, egg, and cheese, as well as a single patty "cheeseborga". And both of them combined couldn't feed an anorexic model, let alone a man like me with an appetite of a bear. The drinks were pretty expensive, too much ice, and very watered down. I mean $6 for a jack and coke, and it was just mostly coke and ice, and a splash of jack. I had made the mistake of ordering a side of fries, and they jokingly said "no fries! just chips!", which I thought was pretty funny. The outside has lots of places to sit, and we eventually had to move inside after midnight. The food was tasty, but was not filling at all, like my stomach had short term memory. Some cute chicks came here though, so that was a plus.

Like everything else at Navy Pier, this lunch counter has been tourist-ified with a beer garden and a bar. It's a long way (figuratively) from the original, underground location made famous by SNL. Still, the guys behind the counter know how to keep a line moving. There's nothing special about the borger, but it sure is cheap! And true to form, they don't serve fries.

One of the best burgers I've eaten in my whole life! The ambiance is casual & it's great to sit on the pier & dine. It's great how the cooks interact with the customers. There are several locations all over the City, the original is still around & still like the old SNL skit where Belushi got the idea from.

The only reason I came here is because our non-haunted bus tour dropped us off. And when we got in they were all out of single cheese burgers. But they did have double cheese burgers available? And I was standing at the counter noshin on this grease bag of a burger and I see an employee grab a tray from the condiment counter and bring it back. What happen next was probably the most disgusting thing that I have ever witnessed. He reaches in the pickel barrel and scoops them out with his Bare Hands! I put down my beer and sandwich and left. There is no way that this restaurant is up to any code written in the last 50 years. How do you get a wheel chair in this place. Hell, I couldn't even fit in the washroom. But this is Chicago and they would never close a landmark restaurant like this. Take your goat and shove it!

It's okay. The food is nothing to write home about. I've had burgers that are way better than this. It was a chance to get out of the sun. There are no fries as the cheezborger says.

Worst burgers ever, hands down. The cheeseburgers are 1/4 of an inch thick and served on large buns with chips. It seems the best thing about this place is the view of the river. I strongly suggest only ordering drinks or finding better grub elsewhere.

Very underwhelming experience. This is the location at Navy Pier. As first timers, we approached the counter to order. "Double cheeseburger, double cheeseburger," the guy kept repeating over and over, even though we told him that WAS NOT what we wanted. Before long my father became irritated and walked off. I ordered a double hamburger (all they have is ghastly american cheese). The beef was very bland and reminded me of those measly 1/8th lb. patties from McDonald's. The bun was really a kaiser roll and that was fine, but the ratio of beef to bread was really out of whack, even with two patties. I am watching my carbs too so I really didn't care for this. I don't know if this place with its several locations is considered a Chicago institution, but believe me when I tell you to AVOID IT.

Made ever famous by Belushi's Saturday Night Live routine, I love this place. I used to work up the street from here, and during the night shift, I would run down here to get a fifty cent cup of coffee. This is the place where I had my first beer when I turned twenty one. It's kind of underground location makes it kind of difficult to find, but it is a place well worth it. The burgers here are good, but make sure you order a double cheeseburger, it's the best. The walls are covered in pictures and newspaper articles from both the Times and the Trib. And the dark house brew is outstanding.

Okay, so the whole story behind this place is pretty awesome. How the owner brought a goat to a White Sox games and was sent away, and thus cursed the White Sox. Pretty awesome story, but shit, no historical story can save their food. They don't have that much of a selection to start with and when you do get your food, its the simplest way to have it. I got the chicken sandwich and all it was were bread and chicken. They have a stand of ketchup and a big bowl of pickles. I guess I admire the simplicity they want to keep with the whole theme, but I did not think their food was that good.

The food is gross. If you are looking for a kitchy place to go try anywhere else... the "cheeseborgers" taste like someone boiled by hat and everything is SO overpriced... really digusting... and the place is dirty... but not in that cool, dive way either...
