Came here for breakfast for the first time. Although we were seated right away (as there were plenty of empty seats) it took a long time for our order to be taken and an even longer time to finally be served. Sorry to be mean but I think we must have had the oldest waitress in the world waiting on us. We had to remind her three times about bringing drinks even though our food had already been served. Portions were large but my Spanish omelet was the worst I ever had. After three forkfuls, I left the rest of my entire meal on the plate. My waitress asked if I wanted them to cook another one for me (ugh)!!!! My granddaughter did like her strawberry pancakes and my grandson wolfed down his peach pancakes. My daughter had the country skillet which she said was mediocre. I wasn't charged for the omelet and we had to inform the waitress that we never got the bill (she thought she had already given us and had to go look for it). The staff is polite but I will not return as taste, service, expediency and atmosphere is important to me.

Being having breakfast/lunch here since 1985. The meals never disappoint. One of those great neighborhood restaurants. Service a little on grouchy side from a few old timers. By far the Jackie special is my favorite. Daily specials are great priced for quality and amount. Weekends of course are very busy.

Great for a quick bite and you can sit down. It's good to have sit down restaurant in the area.

The service was great but the food taste old the chocolate chip pancakes were horrible and the place smells like old folks home

We stopped in here a couple of weeks ago for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Someone told us about it so we through we would give it a try. The food is very good and the portions are huge. Service is fast and accurate. They have their daily specials which are all good. We will continue to eat there. The only bad thing I have to say is that they do not have a take out menu or an on-line menu because I wanted to take it to work to share the good experience. I hope they do something about that SOON.

Friendly and attentive staff. Juan the manager is very nice. Food was quick and reasonably priced. My skillet would have been a little larger! A blue collar diner with its usual hustle and bustle in the morning. Over all an interesting experience for my child in Broadview.

Old school greek greasy spoon. It's a litte dingy and dirty, but it still rocks. Stopped here on the way to O Hare this morning for a good greasy breakfast. Breakfast menu is pretty extensive with the usual common denominators, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, gyros meat and feta cheese. I had a sausage and cheese omlette with home fries and wheat toast, friend had eggs, bacon and french toast. Ample portions and bottomless cup of coffee. Omlette was large and took up half the plate, home fries took up the other half. Home fries were a bit greasy but good. My omlette was loaded with cheese and sausage. I swiped a slice of my friends bacon, likewise it was crisp and nicely done. From what I hear, they do a pretty nice lunch and dinner but I've never been here for that. The decor is pretty typical greek restaurant except maybe a little darker than most I've seen. They have tables and booths but you are welcome to sit at the counter. Opening to the kitchen is a very narrow slit so who knows what madness lurks behind those walls. Highly recommended for those who are hungover or just plain old hungry for good greasy breakfast. Two big old breakfasts, lots of coffee...about 18 bucks.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is good. It's family styled and opens early. The portions are big and they are reasonably priced. I've only had breakfast here although they do serve lunch and dinner.

Fast service! A group of 9 of us went and ordered breakfast. Our server was away from the table around 5 minutes then she was bringing the food to the table. Wow that was quick! I ordered the ham and cheese omelet. It came with toast and hash browns. The hash browns were thin cut potatoes and I was able to get the raisin bread for my toast. Plenty of size in the portions. Only a few of us were able to finish our meal.

My relatives wanted to take me here so I went along. Inside was in some serious need of remodeling as the interior felt 80's-ish in an old, dirty way. Didn't know what was good here so I ordered the gyro plate. Portions could have been bigger and only got 1 pita bread, which was cut into 4 pieces for some reason. Service was mixed as I think there was only one waitress waiting on all the tables. Kept having to waive her for coffee and the check. Giving a generous 3 stars as I might have gone on an off day and didn't order the right thing.
