This is an all age kind of place. Blue collar dive bar kind of joint Plenty to do here as well. They have a while room of pool tables and a wall of at least 7 dart boards. Then even have a handful of slot machines that pay out legitimately. Golden Tee game and some video game with lawn darts and baggo on video. Old but kind of cool I guess. Watch out on karaoke nights as the regulars think they can actually song, but most of them suck. Overall, good place for folks in their 30's and 40's to enjoy themselves.

Dive bar. Been here at least 3 times a week for the last 12 months. I love playing pool and cheap drinks which makes this place perfect for me. The door man Gerald runs a tight ship so don't think you can go there and get rowdy because he ain't having it. Food is ok. If you're at a wedding at Eastland Suites its a just across the street so you can let the party go a little longer. Ps. They won't let you in if you show up with any type of cup(coffee). Even if you're their patron of the year. And that's a 24hr ban. Not to mention the rules say: no ball caps, ripped or baggy jeans, white tanks, or bandanas. Not sure why I'm surprised to see profiling in central Illinois, but make sure you wear Walmart's finest to get into this classy establishment.

Ate here a couple of times, including one night of shooting pool and dining. The food is average bar food. The appetizer of pepperjack cheese pops were really good (it kind of saved the night), but the service was extremely slow and inattentive (and we were one of only two tables that had patrons.) The food was nothing different or extraordinary, and the beer selection is the usual Miller's or A-B. If you want a night of pool and grabbing some food with - definitely thumbs up, it's a fun night. For dining - it's pedestrian. Tab for two dinners, appetizer and a couple of beers was $30.

I really enjoyed shooters. Great food. Had the farmers burger tonight. Wow! Can't believe I finished it. Pool tables need recovering but still worth playing on. Wait staff was great. Folks were friendly. Plus very cool shirts 4 sale :) I'll stop back in the next time in town.

The place is okay on the whole, but the dress code is idiotic. I'm wearing a nice jogging suit (after jogging earlier in the day, so I'm not sweating or anything) and they wouldn't let me in. And I've been here often. Not sure what the goal is, but this is definitely making me rethink coming here. It's not like this is an upscale place by a long shot.

It was around noon on Tuesday and I had just checked in to a hotel across the street. I was craving a sandwich and a cold beer. This place was recommended so one minute later I was sitting at the bar. One minute after that the friendly bartender plunked a frosty one in front of me. One more minute and I ordered a "Club Wrap" with seasoned fries. Five minutes and it was in front of me and delicious. The wrap itself was fresh and it was stuffed with tasty club ingredients. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The portion size was substantial. In thirty minutes I had a great lunch.

You will for real NEVER forget a visit to Shooter's Lounge on a Friday night. Let me give you a brief run down: 4:30-7ish= State Farm Happy Hour. There is a free nacho bar (they certainly don't publicize it...but it's there and it's GOOD) from 5:15-7:15 and buckets of domestic bottles are $13.50...not super cheap but not Chicago priced either. After 9:00 it's ON in there. I don't like to use the word "freakshow" when speaking about my own fellow human beings, but it's the only word that I can find. You will see every kind of person imaginable and people you didn't know exist. You'll most certainly find yourself texting your friends saying "you have to get up here right now and see this". On the other hand, everyone needs to have somewhere to have fun and I'm not going to fault anyone at Shooter's for having a good time after a long week. Around 10 the dance floor (picture a horrid wedding reception and you've got it) gets HOT and you will see ass shaking that is second to none. During the week (especially during the summer) Shooters can be a nice place to have a beer after work but on Friday night (Saturday too) the people watching is second to none and you can't pay for better entertainment. Go...just once...and you will NEVER forget it!

I spend a lot of time in Bloomington for training. I'm pretty sure I have hit every bar up for food and by far this has been the best. We come to this bar at least 4 out of 7 days. I have not had a bad meal here. Highly recommend the Beef Brisket and Pulled Pork. The bar also has great drink specials that are different each night.. Atmosphere is old-school, huge pool hall, shuffle board, darts, karaoke on key nights. Usually provides some good entertainment,

Out of the way location, but great facilities. Large pool hall on one side and nice bar on the other. I was here for darts and was well served by the wall of dart machines. Good drink prices.

Pros: Best Dart Boards in BloNo. Cheap drinks. People watching is phenomenal. Cons: Most Everything else. Shooters is the definition of a townie / dive bar. Dark. Dingy. Creepy locals. Dance floor showcasing middle aged women moving to 80's hits. Also have Karaoke on certain nights. Has a definite blue collar feel to it. They have food, however I can't speak for anything on it. Staff is hit or miss. Not awful, but far from great.

Good atmosphere. Plenty of pool tables. Beer pitchers are reasonably priced. Service is nice and friendly. Pool tables and sticks are in good condition. A good hangout spot.

This place is the worst bar/pool shooting place I have ever been. A friend of mine was turned away from this bar because she was wearing salmon colored pants... I have seen other patrons in that place where they wear white baggy jeans. I just have to say that the bar's dress code is just bizzare...

I felt really comfortable coming there when that cool door guy made my day, I know bouncers are suppose to be tough and scary but this guy was funny and nice and he even took care of business when a patron got out of hand I wish I could remember his name I know he works the front door all the time because when I come there on the weekends he's always there I love the customer service he gave plus he even danced and told us to get a Lindsey Lohan to have a good time. Good job shooters the food was awesome and the music was awesome keep up the good work.
