Fun place to have a meal. Fair prices, good food and service. Nice bar area to hang out at. I come here often.

My first time to Anyway's. We came for an early (5pm) Friday night dinner. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Our food came out fast. I thought the prices were reasonable. We ordered a half order of bruschetta. It was a generous 8 slices of bread and plenty of topping. My husband had the meat loaf dinner. The serving size was enough for two people. He said it was good. I ordered a small barbeque chicken pizza. I was happy with it.

Dined many times and never disappointed. Love the Baja fish tacos with great slaw topping. When I've ordered sandwiches or burgers, they're more than happy to sub fries for veggies. I do that so I can have dessert...all to myself! They know how to prepare their meat. I asked for a rare patty melt and actually got it! Their clam chowder is outstanding: great stock with fresh herbs and not thick, plenty of clams per spoonful. The servers are great and friendly. You really should just go already.

3 star for the food, maybe a two - just ok. I ordered the Meatloaf, there was hardly any gravy and a small serving of what looked like day old veggies. It was just ok. I would not recommend due to the fact the meatloaf was not fresh, you can tell it had been sliced well before serving and looked as though the slices had been warmed on a pan. Flavor was meh.. Service was very good. that I cannot complain about. Atmosphere was very nice too. They just need to work on their food. I will give them another shot but kind of disappointed for a first time visit. I will update my review next time I go, I hope to increase the stars.

The bar at Anyways is friendly, the food is amazing especially for the price, and the regulars are characters right out of Cheers. They'll make you feel like your one of the gang.

Really great food! They fit us in for Mother's Day without a reservation! Service was fast and out server Karie was awesome!

Thought I'd give this place a second chance. This time I looked up the specials menu and when I got there, that is the exact menu I got which is already an improvement from the last time I came. I ordered: Ribs and Skewer: (14.00): 3 rib bones, some skewers of beef, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, bbq sauce and teriyaki glaze. There were hits and misses with this one. The misses were the lumpy mashed potatoes with plenty of skin and the ribs which were generic and slightly burnt. The hits were the skewers which were juicy and well cooked and the glaze was fantastic. The cole slaw was also pretty good.(See picture) French onion: Same as before, pretty generic. They need to put it under the salamander longer to crisp up and brown the cheese more. The service was pretty good last time and was even better this time. This place is really on the ball when it comes to service. Overall I'm gonna have to say its still generic tasting which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Service is outstanding.

Drove pass many times but today decided to give it a try. Satisfied and enjoyed foods and service. Calamari and Pub Burger were delicious. Too bad no spinach on salad dishes. The price is reasonable. Certainly in our favorite place to dine.

Love love love the Anyway's Pasta!!! The pub itself is nice, staff is welcoming, and we had a Starbucks Martini which was delish! We'll come back here FOR SURE!

Got the half slab of ribs for $16, and what a disappointment. Barely any meat on them. My wife got the Prime Rid dip, and same thing. Half of the sandwich was empty.

I love Anyway's ! Don't underestimate their food since it's a bar. They have some pretty damn good food and appetizers. I come here frequently with my family and friends and we've never had a bad experience with the food or service. Chris is our favorite waiter. If you're not concerned about your daily carb intake... I suggest you try their mac & cheese. It's so cheesy and comes with onions, tomatoes... and BACON! They have seasonal specials, some are better than others. They always have different drink specials too... Sometimes it's martini night, sometimes beer. Their burgers are above average and offer several different toppings, cheese, etc. Also, they have turkey, beef AND bison patties; the more options the better! They do have a couple* vegetarian options. For not being a pizzeria, they have really good pizza. It seems they just made new menus and got rid of my favorite, the mediterranean. Lo and behold, I asked the server if they could still make it and they had no problem! For 100s of options and above average food (& drinks!) Anyway's is the place :)

My +1 and I had dinner at Anyway's last night: the first time either of us had dined there. We ordered Mozzarella Sticks ($8 for 8 of 'em) as apps. They were good, but a bit small and perhaps a tad overcooked. He had the Bison Burger (on Specials menu). It seemed moderately sized, and the fries were OK (no salt/seasoning). I had the Grilled Fish Tacos ($10); they had a nice bit of heat but, unlike my counterpart's fries, were WAY salty! The lettuce was extremely heavy-handed - it was impossible to find the fish underneath without totally deconstructing it! They also had an awkward heaping pile o' black beans and white rice with parsley. Neither of the "sides" were seasoned nor anything worthwhile to eat (and I LIKE beans and rice). Our server (Jen) was attentive but not overbearing. In all it was just OK. I think we'd try something else instead next time!

This review is based on a take-out order. I was looking for a place that serves pasta and it was way past 10pm so all my usual places were closed so I figured I'd give this a try. I called in my order and the lady on the phone was very polite. She took my order in a timely manner and her voice was very welcoming. I went to get my order. The inside of the restaurant is very homey and pleasant. My food was ready when I got there. I had the Grilled chicken pasta with broccoli. It did not blow me away, but it was good regardless. Probably the same as all the other places around, but I will definitely be back to try other things. The take-out portion was big, I had dinner for the next day too.

  • Kellie R.

Hands down....best food around!! Their French onion soup is #1...their black beans are AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS...they have a "food specials" menu that changes often, but ANYTHING off of there is always superb. Honestly, I really love this place.

Went up to Anyways for the Bears Game. Good crowd, cool servers. They have raffles every quarter. Lots of bar seating. Its probably the best bar in the burbs, definitely a step up from Fridays, which is next door. The food is pretty good. The beers were on special (!!!) My only complaint is that the hot wings were slightly undercooked. They were edible but you want them crispy, not fleshy. But hey, I'll go there again.

Anyways is a good bar and grill and typically easy to get in and seated quickly. While its food might not be as good as some local establishments (read: Tilted Kilt or Village Tavern), their offerings are good and they have a very diverse menu. Some of the items that I enjoy are the pulled pork quesadillas and fish tacos. The beer list is average - not a lot of on tap craft beers which drops it a star for me. Call me a beer snob, but I'm not going out to drink Miller Lite. If you are in the neighborhood, give it a try.

Took the family for dinner and thought we would try someplace new. The service is very friendly and the food came quickly. The only one that had a disappointing meal was me. Avoid the crock pot pot roast. It was salty, the potatoes were raw and I had 2 pieces of carrot. We will go back for sure but I know what not to choose next time.

Good food but way too loud! Can"t hear the person across the table. Ask the manager to turn the music down. That lasts for 30 seconds.

Stopped by on a whim. So glad we did! Our server was friendly and efficient without pestering us. We both ordered the bison burger. They were perfectly cooked and topped just the way we asked. A great experience overall!

I really like this place for late night. They're open until 2 on week days and 3 on weekend. They have good drink specials and the device is fantastic. Both bartenders and servers are extremely friendly and I've never had to wait long for anything. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because the food is only ok. I've tried many things on the menu and never once been wowed. Other than that, a great place to go

got a coupon for a free entrée here for my bday so my bro mom & i decided to use it. i liked the food last time i was here & this time was even better!! i cant even believe how good the food is here! the actual restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside so they must put all their effort into their food which i definitely can agree wit! i had the shrimp with crab diablo noodles & it was fantastic! we also had the calamari for an app & i like the lite batter on it. my mom had the fish tacos while my bro had the pulled pork nachos. of course i tasted their food too & i liked both of them as well! i just don't like the flour tortillas & would prefer corn but it was still tasty. we were all impressed with how scrumptious our food tasted & will come back again!

Food is always great, both appetizers and main dishes. We've always been able to find a seat in the bar area. I've never sat on the restaurant side, but there usually is some type of wait for seating there. Waiters are very quick to refill drinks and wait on us. Great place to watch the Hawks and drink a beer!

Came in on a Friday afternoon, it was not busy. We sat at the bar, my bf, his friend and me. The bartender came by and looked like she did not want to be here. Asked if we wanted a menu and we said yes. Threw it on the bar infront of us. Then she asked if we wanted something to drink. My bf got a beer and I said could you make me something but virgin. Because I am pregnant. She said like what...!? I said I didnt know. At the end of the day I am not the employee here, how do I know what she can make me? I just got a water. But this was my first time here and I don't think I would recommend this place to anybody or come back. Very disappointed! What a shame!

Anytime I have buddies in town and want to take them somewhere that is reasonably priced with sports on we go over to Anyways. There is something on the menu for everyone, the place is always clean and we never have an issue with the service. I have ordered a dozen things off the menu - everything is great. Burgers are fantastic. Plenty of beer on draft. There is something for everyone at anyways.

So I have recently been back. Although I cannot attest for the food this time (we had eaten elsewhere!), we did have the chance to imbibe in some of their delicious bevvies. I cannot believe I have gone almost 28 years of my life (7 *legal* drinking years to my mom if she reads this...) without knowing what Rumchata. If you have never had this, YOU MUST TRY IT IMMEDIATELY! It is a shot of some kind of delightful rum. It doesn't really matter what's in it, all that I know is that I was literally licking.the.shot.glass after taking it because it was amazing. It tastes like the milk that's leftover after you eat your Cinnamon Toast Crunch. No I am not kidding. That is exactly what it tastes like. The other drink I had, Skyy around the World was good too--five different kinds of Skyy and diet coke. YUM! And super strong. But nothing will compare to the Rumchata, let's just be honest! Our waitress was really good, too!! I wish I remembered her name. She was all over our table like white on rice (it's a good thing!) and we had a group of about 10 of us! I had some of a martini, too. I will be back for the drinks for sure! Maybe next time I will be brave again and branch out to food again. But you bet your bippy I will be getting some Rumchata!!!!

I ordered the pizza & salad combo for dinner and a couple vodka sodas to drink. The food was average. This is a nice bar with lots of TVs to watch sports. We were promptly seated, got our food quickly, and our server was efficient. Not necessarily a place I would be sure to visit in the future but wouldn't avoid it either.

Had dinner with a friend on Friday night. The bar area was hoppin' with a DJ, and the dining area was more mellow. I had a burger, and she had a pasta dish. The burger was a perfect medium-well in my book. The fries were a little too cold, and it made me think they'd been sitting out for awhile. This is the kind of restaurant that suffers from an identity crisis. Is it a bar? A restaurant? What's the focus of the menu? I agree with the thought that this is a better option than Chili's or Friday's. When we left around 11:30 pm, the DJ was starting to spin some techno/Euro music.

Service...service ...service. When will establishments realize that is what brings you back... service. My waitress definitely didn't want to be there. She was on her phone in between everything and never smiled. For those of us that travel all the time were just looking for a smile. Food was average. Beer prices average. In hind site would've tried somewhere else. Peace out

Where's the dislike button? Do you know what hangry is? Hangry is me when I haven't eaten in a long time and my boyfriend can't make a decision on what to eat and I start getting angry and yelling and my boyfriend says GO TO ANYWAYS LETS GET WINGS! and then I violently pull into the parking lot. We sat at a pub table to grab some quick wings and a drink. Well and a quick BOWL of soup. Our waitress came up and I ordered an angry orchard cider with a shot of fireball whiskey in it (ANGRY BALLS FTW!). They have posters plastered all over for Angry Orchard and she even repeated it back to me and said it was good. [Minus] 1 [star] : She brought me a Woodchuck Cider and a shot of fireball whiskey, no glass. Ok, I let the cider choice go because it was already open. I asked for a glass and mixed my angry balls. We ordered our meal- two bowls of soup, wings with BLUE CHEESE. [Minus] 2 [stars]: She brought out my boyfriends bowl of soup, and my CUP of soup. My boyfriend made her quickly aware that I had ordered a bowl and she said, "Oh, well I can bring you out another cup then. Its like the same thing as a bowl." Great, I look like the fatty eating two things of soup. Thanks homie. [Minus] 3 [stars]: Our food comes out. Wings on both ends. My boyfriend correctly got his blue cheese, I had gotten ranch. WRONG! A guy had delivered our food instead of our waitress and I told him I had asked for blue cheese, his response was, "Oh, now you want blue cheese not the ranch?" Well, duh, that's what I ordered! I was hangry, and now even more irritated because this server didn't get ANY of my orders correct. Being the wonderfully crazy girl that I am I insisted that it must be because she was flirting with my boyfriend. Then I realized, no, she just doesn't pay attention. She didn't write anything down and even rolled her eyes when she brought me out my blue cheese. Thanks for your wonderful service! *note the sarcasm. We quickly ate, I left a could be better service tip and left. We both agreed- not going back.

We visited this place on a Sunday for lunch. The football game wasn't until 3pm, so it wasn't that busy. They had lots of staff on hand and the thermostat set to freezing in anticipation of the big crowd. I had the fish tacos and hubby had a burger. Both of our meals were great. The portion sizes were fine, not too big, not too small and my fish tacos were flavorful. I felt like I was being risky ordering them at a place like here (I call them fern bars), where usually the sandwiches and burgers are their best fare. Yes, I would return here and I might even bring my parents here for a meal on their next visit .

I was really impressed by this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the food was delightful. I tried the blackened shrimp and avocado salad. It was very tasty. The dressing was quite spicy, so maybe try another if you don't enjoy that.

Everything tasted the same. the tortilla chips tasted like paper bags, the anyway's burger was bland and the pulled pork quesidillas was the same. honestly the best tasting thing was the Coke I ordered with dinner. seating was easy and now I know why.

Really good atmosphere, awesome food (I recommend the shrimp avocado tacos) and nice service. One of my favorite places to go and eat! Good beer specials and nice bar area too if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends. Cozy restaurant area with a nice fireplace to enjoy during the winter and a great patio to enjoy during the summer. Love this place!

Besides the unnecessary possessive apostrophe, this place really is "A-OK". There's nothing magical about it, but there's nothing terrible either. The restaurant itself looks nice, it's clean, and it's pretty spacious. There is a decent sized bar too, if you don't mind the loud emcee screaming over the microphone every 5-10 minutes. I still am unsure of what he's doing over there... Some things that stand out are: 1. The ribs are pretty good...to put it in to perspective, they are better than Famous Dave's ribs but are less than The Patio's and/or Barnelli's ribs. 2. The new pretzel bun burger special is delicious. I would definitely order it raw, as my medium came out well done, and I would add some spice to it (Frank's Red Hot sauce? Pepperjack cheese? Jalapenos?) but it was good. It may just be the pretzel bun's deliciousness taking over, but I was a fan. 3. There is FINALLY some good beer here. It's not an extensive list, they are only in bottles, and the 3 Floyd's runs out fast, but there were a few good ones to choose from. I ended up with a Lagunitas A Lil' Sumpin' Sumpin'. 4. Service was excellent. Overall, it's not a bad place to have a casual dinner, hang out with friends for a drink, or grab some appetizers and chill, but it's not a fave.

Stopped in early Sunday night after Christmas Shopping for a light bite to eat. Loved this place. Very nice decor, enjoyed the fireplaces. We both had great salads; BBQ chicken and Dila, in fact had a hard time deciding, they all sounded good. Would come back again to try other things on the menu. The bar area was very nice too.

went here a few times with co-workers. find it very overpriced and nothing wowing about it. the drinks are horrible unless u really really know the bartender (just one is good) the food there is something i'm ok with passing it up as well. the amstophere is nothing special. I rather go to Fridays for all the above instead because it's right next door. The service was good the waitress was very attentive.

Went here for dinner with the man and the kid. It looks like it would be a fun place to hang out and get a beer. Wings are standard, nothing exceptional but if you're jonesing for some buffalo wings they fit the bill. My daughter wouldn't eat her hamburger, but she was all about the broccoli and fries. Shoulda just ordered her the chicken fingers, ohhhh well. The man ordered the steak, it was a lot better than I expected. It was good quality meat, tender, and cooked just how he wanted it. It didn't seem like the kind of place that would have a good steak, but there you go. I had the lime chicken, it's listed on the menu as under 550 calories. I ordered it to justify the couple of fat tires I drank, totally worked. I would probably order it again, but I want to try other stuff on their menu first. We'll definitely go back, it's nice and close to home and right by a bunch of stores so it's in a convenient location. I would pick this place over the nearby Chili's and Friday's.

I was in here last weekend for lunch with mom. I had seen this place for some time and had been meaning to give it a try. I won't be back. Serrvice was slwo but that could have been because a fund raiser looked to be starting as we were leaving. I had a Black and Tan Burger. It was piled very high - too much for a mouthful. I deconstructed it. The meat was cooked as I requested it - positive. It was tasteless w/o steak sauce. The horseradish sauce that was supposed to be on it was barely visible. The fries were greasy. 3 or 4 item dessert menu - nothing w/o ice cream. I di dnot really see anything on the menu that caught my eye that would make me want to go back and give it another try. Oh, we did have potato skins - they were average, but what can you do to dress up potato skins? Just cheese, bacon & a sprinkle of green onion and sour cream.

I still remember when this location used to be Lonestar. Ah, I miss the days of throwing peanut shells on the floor. I have never heard of this chain before and wanted to try it out. This place looks pretty nice on the inside when I came for lunch. I could see about 3 flat screen TVs from where I sat. The waiter seemed to enjoy his job and was funny and friendly. I came after 1pm during the weekday and there were plenty of tables available. RIBS: They were pretty good! Nicely seasoned and topped with BBQ sauce. It came with tasty salty fries and coleslaw. $14 SIDE SALAD: I added a side salad to the meal for $2. They don't have French dressing, but does carry Russian dressing...which is pretty much the same thing with a different name. LOCATION: Next to La Campana.

I've eaten here the past 2 nights and it's pretty damn good. Had the flat iron steak sandwich last night which was really good. Had the blackened chicken sandwich on the bartender's recommendation and it was the bomb diggity! Cole slaw is also very good.

omg this place is AMAZING and it was my first time here yesterday with the kids, first of all I love the atmosphere and the booth was so comfy it was really nice! We got the cheese fries and they were awesome then me and my husband both got burgers that are OMG OUT OF THIS WORLD PERFECTION!!!! Probably the best burger ive ever had! We used to go to buffalo wild wings for burgers but this is definitely going to be one of our go to places from now on!!!! oh and they have great drink specials compared to a bunch of other local places which is always a plus!!!!!

It sounds crazy, but I ADORE the black beans here. They're always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and a tad saucy so I can spoon them over some cilantro-lime rice. The Baja fish tacos are no joke either and outrival almost all fish tacos that I've had in SoCal and Hawaii. Ask for a side of salsa and a pint of 312 Urban Wheat ale and you're set. Something about Anyway's makes it feel more comfortable than any other resto-bar in the area. Could be the service, the good, cheapish drinks or the fact that it's not corporate. Or maybe it's just the lackadaisical name.

I was pleasantly surprised at this. I was expecting typical "bar food" but I was wrong. There wasn't too much parking right next to the restaurant but you had a strip mall right next to it with obviously additional parking. The restaurants atmosphere was nice, it reminded our group of Bennigans. Which we think this building was once one. We sat down on the bar side and the waitress greeted us right away, very nice and personable. She came around about every 5-10 mins to check on us. I started off with a beer and I ordered the Owners Burger. This consists of havarti cheese served on a grilled butter bun, topped with dijonasie sauce, baby greens, tomatoes and grilled onions and mushrooms. I asked them to cook my burger medium rare and it came to me that way. The meat was perfectly seasoned and very juice. With the burger dish came a side of fries, but for $2 more I was able to top the fries with cheese and bacon. If you know me I could never pass up anything topped with bacon, yummy! I cleaned my plate, it was so good. Everyone that I was with seemed very please in their meal. This will be a place that I would return to.

Yum I love this place! Just went in tonight. I got the chipotle bbq chicken sandwhich, my favorite! Service is always good here, prices are reasonable, they're open fairly late compared to places aroundbthe area and for a bar/restaurant they are pretty baby frienndly!

So I don't know how long this place has been here, but the first time I went was last Saturday. I went again this Saturday. The next time I'll be there...one night this week. In addition to having a large variety (american, pasta, mexican, vegetarian) on the menu, the food is served in large portions, is tasty and is inexpensive. I have had the Mac Attack Burger; I could do without the mac and cheese but the burger was delish. Black beans were ok. The desserts are to die for...apple crisp and brownie dessert are fantastic. The apples are sliced so thinly in the crisp and the seasoning is perfect. The Anyway's Cosmo is the best Cosmo ever...hands down. The Pumkin Pie martini was also good. The second time I tried the Rib and Chicken platter...average, but warm and filling. Great beer specials and plenty of TVs for game watching. This is my neighborhood cheers and I will be a regular!

  • Andrew B.

Pretty decent place for happy hour, watching the game, bringing a group of friends. Reasonable prices, nice staff. Stopped in for for the outside seating, some apps and a drink, will go back for steak for sure. Chicken wings were a B- -- not overly meaty, overcooked without being served crispy/well done ... seemed perhaps well-cooked, then sauced, then sat while the nachos got mounded together, before the wings got served, no longer hot and crispy. The mound of nachos with beef or chicken on it is a great plate; could use more salsa in addition to non-salsa tomatoes.

Every once in a while we end up in Bloomingdale for a few days. Whenever we're there, we always stop in Anyway's. We've been there on weeknights and weekends and no matter when we're there, it's a great time. They throw a great party for the Superbowl and even though my team lost, it was a great night out. Anyways has a good beer selection, is not stingy on mixed drinks, and has great food. I've been told by my fiance that the fish tacos are amazing. I always get the wings either as a precursor to something more or as a meal unto themselves. I have never been disappointed in the flavor or heat of the wings and would recommend them to anyone that enjoys a good buffalo wing or six. The staff is always friendly and whether they're slammed on Superbowl Sunday or slow on a Monday night, they're always smiling, engaging, and happy to help. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to go out and have a fun evening at a great neighborhood bar!

Being new to the area I was on the hunt for a new place to eat. I have been there numerous times and have never been disappointed. Everything from the service, food quality, atmosphere and price is great. I have gone solo with my husband as well as family outings with the kids, everyone always finds something they are pleased with from the menu.

Wow, I was amazed at this place, it's been there for a while and we only just tried ot out, our loss. My mother and I went there on Friday night, it was busy but we were seated quickly. Our waitress was really cute and friendly, a big plus with me. We got the bruschetta for an appitizer and I ordered the fish tacos while my mom got a chicken salad. The food was really good, they had Fat Tire beer there so my mother was happy. It was hard to pick, pretty much everything on their menu sounded so good!! The waitress came around the right number of times, making sure we were looked after without being annoying. There was a nice atmosphere, a lot of families and older couples, they have large TV's everywhere so you could watch whatever game is on. We were seated in the dining area but they have a bar area that looks nice. Definitely will go back

As I walked in, I was pleased to see at least a dozen TV's in the bar area alone. As a transplanted New York sports fan, I'm glad I have the option to watch almost any game I want. Big props right there. It took 4-6 minutes for the server to get to us, but she was friendly enough. The size of the drink glasses were tall, which is a big deal for me at a sports bar. For the food, we started with the spinach artichoke dip. It was really creamy, a little more yellow than what I would expect. Very creamy and served with tri-color tortilla chips. I would usually prefer toasted bread or pita, something more chewy, but it worked well enough. If nothing else, the presentation was nice with the array of colors. I went for the Flat Iron steak sandwich. It came on a hoagie roll with crispy fried onions and sauteed mushrooms along with a side of Cabernet sauce. I was very impressed with the tenderness of the meat. And the combo of the red wine in the sauce and mushrooms was just tremendous. The onions provide that nice crunch, so I got a nice variety of tastes and flavors. The sandwich came with a mountain of French fries that were well seasoned with a Lawry's type taste to them. And we had certain requests like ranch dressing, honey mustard, our third drink refill, etc and the staff responded quite promptly to all of them. There aren't too many sit-down places in that Stratford Square area that deliver the goods in terms of both taste and atmosphere. Anyway's is a fine exception, I am happy to say.

This place has been a surprise. My boyfriend and I have been here twice since we moved into our new place nearby. I wasn't expecting this place to be as good as it has been. We've been here twice for lunch now, and each time we left happy and satisfied. The service is pleasant, and the decor is pretty standard grill and bar. The food is surprisingly good! My boyfriend and I are both fans of the patty melt. I've also had some of the chicken sandwich's and they were all delicious.

Great service. Stayed on top of keeping drinks filled. Food was nice and hot and tasty! I got the lime chicken with beans and rice. Excellent meal. 5 stars for all around good prices, food, cleanliness, and service.

Random apostrophes really, really bother me. Who is Anyway? Is this his or her restaurant? No? I rather thought not. But bad punctuation aside (and sadly, yes, this is how it appears on the building), Anyway[']s is a solid upscale sports bar-type eatery. We came on New Year's Eve - fairly early - and half expected to wait awhile, but we were seated right away. The interior is very nice, with rich, warm wood, a couple of fireplaces and comfy seating. And lots of flat-panel TVs for whatever game is on. The menu is decently varied and I had a hard time deciding, but I went with one of the specials, a turkey melt on ciabatta with havarti and spring greens. And in true M. family fashion, we started with nachos. The nachos were solid, not fantastic but good enough to get them again. Tons of cheese (some of it not-quite melted), a little skimpy on the refried beans, decent guacamole, good salsa, plenty of ground beef. My sandwich was very good; the only mild disappointment was that the turkey appeared to be processed deli-cut, as opposed to nice pieces of a roasted turkey (like Thanksgiving leftovers). But the bread was quite good, the pesto mayo and havarti delicious. The fries were solid. Service was friendly and competent, no problems there. Next time I'd like to try something different on their vast menu, but I was definitely pleased enough that I'm sure we'll be back. Edit: We came back, just over a month later -- and I must say, the mac & cheese (with tomato, bacon, onion and a garlicky-crumb crust) is AWESOME. I make some good mac & cheese, and this blew mine away. Carb-o-licious heaven.

I've had mixed service when I've gone here. Perhaps the demeanor of each server has to be taken into account as well. Was here the other day while the football game was on. Our waitress seemed to have other things on her mind (maybe the game?) and barely checked on us at all. Other times that I was here on a random day with the family or a date with the husband and they were great interacting with us, refilling drinks and whatnot. Food is decent. Most of the dishes are standard when it comes to their burgers and sandwiches. I personally haven't ventured off more than that since I always pair one of those options up with the french-onion soup (which I'm a major fan of) and always order it each time I go. But the whole experience is just "A-OK".

Very good for a one hour lunch. Good service, great quality for the price, average cleanliness. 8 people ordered 8 different entrees, all 100% satisfied. I recall pulled pork, chicken/bacon sandwich, avocado burger, regular burger, flat iron steak, a taco and a lunch salad were ordered and no complaints about quality, portion size or cost.

  • Samantha J.

The server was absolutely excellent, she was on top of things and always right there when I needed her ( especially when I spilled my water, oops). The food however was very bland and dry. I think if I ever were to come back i will have to order something simple that's hard to mess up like a burger and fries.

I visit Anyway's for their Tuesday Team Trivia nights. The trivia announcer is good and there are usually a good number of teams, enough to have some competition, but not so many that you can't ever reach the top 3 and win a prize (a gift certificate for a future visit at Anyway's). I you're the designated driver and want something sweet, go for the pomegranate lemonade. If you aren't, they have pretty much anything you could want to drink, including girly drinks for people like me. Margaritas are about $6.50, but they have some specials for $5. If you are looking for dessert, ask your server about the cheesecake flavor of the day. I have tried several and they have all tasted great! Their cheesy fries and fish tacos are excellent. Anyway's has a good pub atmosphere, sometimes a little loud, but not bad. There is also a separate dining room for people who don't want to be near the bar, such as families with kids. There are several TVs in the bar area, which are typically tuned to various sports games. A good place overall.

To the TGI Friday's, Chili's, and Applebee's on the same block: Your competition just moved in and they're doing a great job. Most recently I went to Anyway's on a Thursday around 6:30 PM and found a packed parking lot. Gotta be doing something right if you can pack 'em in on a weeknight. Though I don't drink too very often, the $4 Martini specials Thursday night were enticing enough for me to try before eating dinner. My drink was not too heavy on the alcohol, which is what I prefer. The Tequila Lime Chicken I ordered was quite moist and tender, served over cilantro lime rice and black beans. The beans were excellent! So good that I asked my server what they added to the black beans to make them taste so good. (Made with chicken broth and cumin.) Of course, I had to have dessert since cinnamon ice cream was on the menu... one of my all-time favorite flavors! Two moderate scoops with a drizzle of caramel, whipped cream and a cherry on top were the perfect size for after dinner, unlike the monster desserts that you usually get and can rarely finish. I did have the apple crisp another time, which (if I remember right) was heavy on the apples, not enough "crisp" topping, could use more ice cream, and quite messy on the caramel sauce. It was okay, but I probably won't order that dessert again. All in all, Anyway's is a great option to the other chain restaurants on the block. Nice decor, decent lounge / bar area with flat screens TV's all around, separate dining area that's not as loud as the lounge, friendly service, and pretty good food. And seriously, you had me at "cinnamon ice cream".

Very curious as to how this Anyways compared to it's older sister location in Oakbrook Terrace. The Lincoln Park Salad for me, the chicken nachos for the Hubs. The salad was very fresh. Various kinds of lettuce leaves, granny smith apples, cranberries and blue cheese crumbles. Quite large for one person. The poppy seed vinaigrette was very tasty and tangy and sweet. I didn't care for the nachos--the chicken was very dry--almost crumbly. The cheese was ok. The nacho chips were the tastiest part of that dish. I like this location better than the Oak Brook Terrace location because this one is more spacious, has a better layout and the staff is very friendly. Same menu, same drink specials. More flat screens and a larger and sleeker bar. Great place to watch a game and enjoy a drink.

Staying at the Hilton nearby and definitely in search of some non-hotel, non-national chain food and a friendly bar, I came across this place. I think a restaurant should be ranked according to how well it does in the category that it (and its prices) claim it to be. So on a 1-10 scale, here is what I say about Anyway's: Food=8. I badly want to rate this higher, based on the awesome flatiron steak, cooked to perfection, at the crazy low price of $13.95. Thanks to the bartender for confessing to me that the cheapest steak on the menu is in fact their best. But you can't serve a luke-warm, overcooked baked potato with it not worthy of showing up on a Wendy's tray. I'll go back for the steak, but try a different side next time. They were out of the turtle cheese cake I ordered, but the brownie with ice cream and caramel (for like $3!) was bliss. Service: 10. I sat at the bar, and was very well taken care of. Friendly, prompt, a bit sarcastic (in a good way), and helpful recommendations. This guy knows his stuff, and I appreciated it. Ambiance: 9. Ok, maybe it's a 10. I didn't even see the dining room, but the bar is well appointed and tasteful with plenty of modern TV square inches. Bottom line: I'll come back when I'm in town again, and recommend it to good friends.

Everytime I visit this restaurant, we always sit ni the bar area. We have never had an issue getting a table here. The waitresses are prompt and Anyway's is reasonably priced. They have a lot of tvs in the bar area if you are interested in the sports games. The fajita quesadillas are my favorite meal. Even though they are listed under the appetizer section, they are enough for a meal. They also have a few salad's that are good as well. The drinks specials tend to be good as well!

I would have to say that we are regulars at Anyways. We sit at the bar when we go here, and overall of the bartenders are friendly and very attentive. A few of the bartenders are more concerned that playing with their cell phone than engaging the customers. But most of them are above average. There are many "regulars" at the bar each time we are there; you can tell the bartenders make relationships. This bar draws a huge sports crowd. There are many TV's and they show just about every game of every sport that is on at the time. They have the best Bloody Mary's around. The wine selection is less than desirable; their higher end chardonnay is J Lohr which doesn't thrill me. They have THE BEST Nacho's. We have had several menu items and we continue to be impressed. I would also recommend the Vodka Pasta. There are many casual dining restaurants in this Bloomingdale shopping center, this is one of our favorites.

You would think that Mac&Cheese is an easy dish to make - think again! The crusted mac&cheese dish was really gross. Instead of actual cheese, the noodles were laying in a milky watery cheese sauce that looked and tasted like Kraft powder cheese. They threw some onions and tomatoes on top which didn't make it better, just worse. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Alfredo. The chicken was dry. The sauce had no flavor. We poured half of the pepper shaker on it to make it taste better. Neither of us finished our plates. So we decided to order some shots from the bar. We ordered two shots of Patron and they were watered down. The bartender obviously put too many ice cubes in the shaker when "chilling them". So needless to say, it was an overall annoying experience.

Great family place for good food. I take our family there for our weekly night out. Jason is our favorite server. Their home made pizza is one of our favorites. Clean, up-to-date, and lots of sports TVs. They even had my fishing show on once! Some who gave 1 or 2 stars complain about portion size, food quality.... Look, you know you plan to spend a certain amount when you go out. They serve plenty for what you end up spending. And they do their best for each plate to be on time, look good, and taste great. That's their job. This place will be around for a long, long time. Their formula works and they are good at it. Don't go to TGI Whatever, or Applepicker's, go to ANYWAY'S...

It is bar food, but it is GOOD bar food. Great atmosphere, outdoor seating, and an attentive waiting staff. Great selection of beers(including craft beers). It seems like it is pretty dead on the weekdays(excluding fridays and probably thursdays) so if you want to be somewhere quiet with a bunch of friends this is definitely the place to go drink with your friends. The food is not anything special but it is decent quality and what you would expect this place to serve up. I would come back again for sure, it is one of the best restaurant/pubs in the area.

I've been here twice. The first time I was here I had the chili and a freakishly delicious "Owners Burger". I came back a second time two months later to see if it was a fluke... nope. It's a nicely sized, juicy burger cooked just the way I asked both times (once medium, once medium- well). The fries while not as great as the burgers were better than average. My daughter really enjoyed her bbq pork sandwich and we both had a loaded potato soup which was fine. But again, the burger; food is obviously a matter of taste, but I'm telling you this burger is perfect - charred on the outside, juicy and delicious. The havrati or whatever cheese and onions they add to it match up perfectly. I know burgers and have had them at many of the critically acclaimed "best burger" places in Chicago and the suburbs, this one is the best I've had. Service was good, place seemed clean. I'll need to eat other things to give Anyways a perfect review and I will...if I can ever get past that burger.

We traveled out here from the South Suburbs to attend a friends birthday party, as he is a "regular" there and loves the place. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. They have a great selection of beers and the bartenders and servers were very nice and efficient. However, the food was underwhelming and just so so. Both my wife and myself ordered the fish tacos, as we love fish tacos and they are hard to find. When they came out, we were both disappointed. The fish lacked any type of seasoning or flavor, and was kind of mealy in texture. I had to squirt a bunch of lime juice on them to give them any flavor. My daughters Baked Mac & Cheese was just okay and not worth the price they were charging for some noodles and watery cheese. Our other friend got the ribs and she was kind of disappointed in them and thought she made a bad choice for ordering. We would go back for the drinks and atmosphere, but not the food.

I came here for dinner and I tried the Twin City burger--the cheese is in the patty & it's JUICY! It was so juicy that I went through several napkins due to all the juices dripping onto my hands as I worked my way through this ginormous burger. If you want a burger, a really good burger, then the Twin City burger is what you want. Trust me. There's plenty of room at the bar and seating in the bar area. The dining area was just right, none of the tables were too close to each other, and the booths had hooks for you to hang your coats. The service was fast & friendly. When my friend and I showed up, there was no hostess. The bartender came out from behind the bar to take care of us herself--she gets a gold star! Our server for the evening was also pretty awesome and attentive. Not once did our glasses go empty nor did we have to flag her down to ask for anything--great customer service! The appetizers that we had, cheese garlic bread and fried calimari, were nothing special, just standard bar appetizers if you ask me. But, dinner was very good. I like this place. The food may not be the best in the world, but it's pretty good, and they made up for it, and then some, with outstanding customer service. Holla!!!â„¢

First time in this location and as its predecessor, I gotta say, "nice wood". Its a manly bar, lots of TVs and wood. The bartenders are scantily clad and friendly. The bartender that served us was very helpful with beer choices as well as food decisions. The food was not stellar, but just OK. would I go back, yes. The menu is nice but nothing to boast about. i ordered the Dilla Salad that was with blackened chicken. Well to my surprise, the chicken was 'fried blackened chicken' (huh?) and quite over fried at that. The portions were huge, a mound of salad in the center topped with diced tomato and onion which is good for me, then the 'fried' blackened chicken was cut in chunks and scattered about the top and then the bowl was rimmed with cheese quesadillas (hence, dilla salad). I was just disappointed in the chicken part. Otherwise, it was a decent 'salad'. My date had their version of chicken alfredo. NOPE. greasy and not at all like alfredo. so my thought on ANYWAY'S AMERICAN RESTAURANT & PUB....Stick with what you know. But nice atmosphere. I will go back and order American food ... like a burger or something.

The food here is really good. I'm taking stars off for lackluster service and awful parking lot. Last time I was here the server pretty much ignored our table. I don't know if she wasn't happy that we weren't ready to order right away or was just having a bad day. She also didn't seem pleased that we didn't order any drinks as well. Took us several times to get her over to our table to just to order food. Our food came rather quickly but once our food came she didn't come back to the table until it was time to drop off the checks. The parking lot is horrible here! I had to park across the street the last time because the parking lot was full. The restaurant wasn't even packed so I have no idea why the parking lot was that full. If you're going on the weekend I suggest you show up early to get a parking spot and to avoid the 45 minute wait.

I'm a bit baffled at anyone mentioning the prices being too high. Anyways is super affordable, and the food is great. If anything they would be able to get away with charging more if they wanted to. The food selection and quality is above average. Love the burger. The calamari is divine. The ribs are fall off the bone fabulous. Beer selection (bottle and draft) is quite unique compared to other local spots. Staff is super friendly. The restaurant caters to all. Great for dining with friends or family by day. Awesome for drinks with friends at night. Flat screen Tv's spread throughout the restaurant, fireplaces, a huge bar area, jukebox, late night menu, and a really great atmosphere. The late night weekend hours make it the ideal hang out spot for a night out. It's restaurant, sportsbar, pub, bar, all rolled into one. I like it!

Went to check out this place yesterday...and boy was I surprised. As I've seen, some people have complained about service or prices or even about bad food. I have to say I experienced none of these things. First off, me and my companion were seated just as we walked through the door. We were welcomed with a smile and a cheerful greeting. We were given menus and at just the right moment the server came by for drink orders. At the time of drink delivery, the waiter promptly took our food orders and went right away to put the order in. I had one of their 12" peperoni pizzas and I have to say it was fantastic. As with some pub/grill type places I've been to, their pizza has always been very mediocre, but I think there was a fine balance between the pizza thickness/toppings/temperature at Anyway's.. The person I was with ordered some sort of Reuben, and all I heard about that was praises. The coke/beer was cold and to satisfaction as well. Overall, I certainly plan on returning to Anyway's. It has a clean, friendly environment that produces good food in a timely manner.

We stopped in here on Friday night after a long day. Nice atmosphere, good service, Excellent Food! and the manager (forgot his name) was wonderful. I have been here a few times and have enjoyed it every time. They have a lot of food choices, good beer choices, and a friendly atmosphere. They even have a section on the menu for vegetarians which is greatly appreciated! Great place to watch a game or just come for a casual dinner with friends and family. On night days their small outside patio is great (even if it does offer only a view of the parking lot). I have always have good appetizers and food here and their dessert is great at a cheap price. Nothing to write home about, but an affordable, nice place for a meal out.

Meh is all I can say about this place. I found Anyway's Pub through Yelp and went to their website to take a look at thier menu. While I was there I signed up for thier email fan club and recieved a $10.00 gift certificate..score!! I went there last night while the bulls game was on and got a table in the bar right away. We ordered a few beers and was looking over the menu to make my final food choice and our waitress took FOREVER to come back with our beers....it had to of been 15 mins....we put our order in for food when she did finally come bring us our beer and the food came out in like 5 monutes.....ummm I found it a little weird that beer took 15 minutes but our food took only 5 minutes....was it even fresh!?! i got the buffalo chicken with fries, the chicken was tough and the fries were mushy...BIG NONO for me. I also tried the sausage pizza, the sausage was really good but the pizza tasted like it had been cooked in a microwave....very mushy. So what Im saying is if I didnt have my $10.00 gift certificate I probably would have been really upset with the food quality....but with 2 meals and 2 beers it only came to $17.....I would NOT pay full price for thier food!!!

This place is actually not at all what I expected and that's a good thing. I've passed by countless times thinking i t was just another sports bar. Do they have a bar-yes. Do they show sports on TV-probably. The other half is a decent, fairly quiet restaurant. Food has been pretty good the two times we've been there as well as the service. The St. Patrick's Day corned beef was a little bland, but they had green beer! I'll go back!

My business partner and I frequent here. The atmosphere in the bar is active and there are plenty of flat screens to watch a game. I also bring my gal and we sit on the restaurant side for a little romance. You can still see the games but it is a little more quiet for that relaxing evening out. The Marti Gras Tilapia is fantastic and the Avocado Shrimp Tacos are also top notch. Service has always been very good and the wait staff is a lot of fun. The décor is warm and inviting plus the restrooms are spotless! Love the drink specials as well, Always a good time here!!

I enjoy this place so much. I have been here a ton of times with my coworkers for lunch. Typically a long Friday lunch. We are all so jealous when we see people there with a tall beer in their hands! We always have trouble choosing what we want. This is good because we like it all. We have tried it all and haven't found something we don't like.

Ordered the wings and they were so tough I couldn't even eat them, shepherds pie was bland and had hard frozen carrots in it. Sitting next to us at the bar were employees talking bad about customers at the other end of the bar. If I could I would rate zero.

Don't see what the big deal is about this place. Been here twice, both times mediocre service. My wifes Owners Burger was full of grease. I feel I paid too much for the beer. As we left, two "jersey shore" type guidos smelling of sweat and Brute aftershave came in sealing the deal. Won't be back.

I'm definitely a fan of the bar and grill style restaurants. To me, they are the essence of comfort food. Burgers, hot sandwiches, nachos, wings... these are what I love. So when I want a fun meal, I look for places like this. Anyway's is precisely what I want in this kind of restaurant. Good fun types of sandwiches, excellent nachos, and a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere that emphasizes the grill over the bar (the fireplaces are a nice homey touch). And yes, the nachos were a big part of it and they were some of the best I've had. Nothing beats Harrison's, but as far as places within a ten mile radius these are near the top. My chicken sandwich was pretty good, a bit tough in places, but on great bread with an excellent bbq sauce on it. So overall I was pleased and with their extensive menu there are plenty of reasons to go back and keep trying new comforting foods.

I generally enjoy going to Anyway's- it's a great value, the food is very good, and the service is usually on par. My previous review was 4 stars. None of these were the case a few weeks ago when I visited with my girlfriend. We had a lousy experience that tainted our feelings about the restaurant. When we arrived, everything seemed fine. The restaurant was busier than usual, but the hosts seemed cheerful, and sat us outside right away when we requested outdoor seating. Everything else about the experience sucked. After a lengthy wait for service, we ordered two seasonal beers, and two appetizers- calamari and potato skins. We figured that in spite of the busy restaurant, these items would come up quickly, we could eat and turn the table for someone else. Apparently, it wasn't in the cards. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks and 45 minutes to get our appetizers. 45 MINUTES FOR APPETIZERS. Ok, so I'd even let that slide- we didn't say anything at the time- we figured the bartender and waitstaff were slammed. Maybe someone forgot to enter our order or another server accidentally took our food. These things happen. But what really irritated me was: 1. NO APOLOGY for the lateness of the food. The server was cheerful and kept promising us the food would be up soon, but there was no apology for the fact that it took us 45 minutes to get items that should not have taken more than 5-7 minutes tops. 2. NO BILL REDUCTION. It used to be common courtesy back in the day to add some sort of discount or comp to a meal that went this badly. I understand that we've got a crappy economy and you've got to watch your food comps, but SERIOUSLY!!!??? Potato skins? Calamari? What's your food cost? Like $2? Maybe? Instead of eating that cost and making sure your (usually loyal) clientele walked away with the least amount of frustration, you allowed your guests to walk away thinking "This experience is going on Yelp." And here it is for the world to read. There's just no excuse for how the meal was managed. It's probably not any single person's fault that our experience went sour, but it would have been great if even one person would have acknowledged that it did. This wasn't a typical experience for us, but as it stands, I'm not sold on going back.

Tried Anyway's for the first time on Memorial Day. Dig it! I had the BBQ Chicken pizza which wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good. I want to try a more traditional pizza there because I love the style they make - just wish the bbq sauce they used wasn't so sweet. But that's personal preference. The quality was high! My wife and son loved their food, and the wings were great. Plus I had a pint of 312 for $2.50. Expensive??? Hardly!!! That's a steal for a bar. Not too mention the menu is so vast and full of variety I had a hard time picking what I wanted. There was something that sounded awesome on every page. No lie. Maybe they can be accused of having too much choice, if that's possible. And the thing I loved most, great service. We had just come from the pool and looked like a pack of rag-a-muffins but we got no cross looks or attitude. We said we all needed to duck into the bathrooms to change first and they waited for us. And our server, Dana, was awesome. Everyone seemed friendly in fact, and give they were working on a holiday, it would've been easy to go the other way. It reminded me of a much higher-end, friendlier version of the Fox & Hound. I hope it remains higher-end. I want to hang out there.

Food is decent. Don't have beer on your menu that you don't carry regularly.

Ahh the memories. I remember years ago when this place was Lonestar and I was working as a host. When Anyway's opened I came here with a friend and I was floored at the renovation this restuarant went through. The original bar is still there, but EVERYTHING else has changed. And it looks so much nicer I must say. It's very cozy and warm, and seems much cleaner than Lonestar was. We decided to start off with the Calamari, it was very scrumptious! Not as good as Al Capone's of course, but it was still very good. For dinner, I went with a Portabello sandwhich which was absolutely amazing. Of course if you don't like mushroom's you won't enjoy this at all. My friend wound up getting a burger and he said it was very good. I'm not much of a burger kind of gal, so sorry I can't help ya there! ;) I've been there a few times before to meet friends for drinks and munch on appetizers but I haven't really had another meal since the first time I visited. The appetizers are very very good, so the rest of the menu I would assume is good too! I would not hesitate to stop in next time your around there. I would say it is the best restaurant around that particular area! Good luck! :)

Good place to watch a game and have drinks! Drinks and drink specials were great, really enjoy $4 Martini's on Thursday nights. We had fun watching a Bulls play-off game at this location, the crowd was pumped and it was very entertaining. Dinner food was good but nothing special. Better than most typlical bar food but similar to the quality of Friday's.

This place had the best black & bleu steak salad (with blue cheese ) & creamiest dressing made fresh in house. Service was great too! I highly recommend.

If you're a fan of frozen and prepared foods, this is the restaurant for you! Nothing is fresh on their menu, except for the salad greens. Save your $$ and head to Olive Garden. You'll get a better meal for your buck.

This place was okay, the atmosphere was great...it was clean and comfortable. The food however was just average, nothing that i couldn't have made at home. The worst part of the whole experience was the waitstaff...they were all gathered around a table in the bar with their personal stuff, drinking/eating etc. They yelled at eachother from across the restaurant (having conversations). They all also appeared that this was clearly their dayjob and the place must turn into a strip club at night. Not a place that I'll be running back to anytime soon.

Good continental food, good service. Nothing special about the menu and there are restaurants that have better versions of the same items, but they pour a good cold beer and serve you with a smile.

We love the Anyway's on Roosevelt Road, so when we saw this one had opened, we decided to check it out. Thumbs up again! Relaxed atmosphere where you aren't crowded up against the next table. Same solid menu and new list of seasonal specials. Service was good. This is just always a place you can count on for a great meal. We'll be back!

I like Anyways quite a bit. I'm there about once a month. The food is generally pretty good but a little salty for my taste. The space is good for groups and I like how the bar/restaurant are divided by a wall with windows so there is a bit of separation between the two of them. Waitstaff has always been great. 4 stars for the food but otherwise, great place to go for game night with typically above average food.

Nice atmosphere in here. The bar area was nice-pretty good size-looks bigger since it was the old Lonestar. Went on Saturday night-it was not overly busy but busy enough. We were seated in a few minutes-hostess was nice-our server was great-she had a lot of tables but still did a great job. Food was pretty good-had the fried calamari-pieces slightly big-almost chewy but still good. Wings were good too-not overly fabulous. My steak was a bit tough-had the sirloin-my husbands was fine so not blaming the restaurant as a lot of people do-it may have just been a tough cut of meat-loaded potato great too! We will be back!

I continue to go here instead of the boring chains. The fish tacos are always great. Being able to sit outside is a plus at both locations. The servers have always been attentive and pleasant. I am not bored with the menu-it is vast but everything always comes out so nicely. The specials are usually tempting as well. Continue the great job. We often bring our kids and parents here. Everyone loves this place.

I went with my son and my parents and the food choices overall were pretty good and my dish, penne pasta with chicken, mozzarella, sausage with a creamy tomato sauce was above average but nothing to write home about. The portion size was huge though and now I have lunch for another day. Because of the sausage the dish was spicier than I'd expected. House wines get 4 stars. I was surprised how good the pinot noir was. Little disappointed that the kids mac and cheese was easy mac. They have a delicious version for adults with bacon (what kid wouldn't like that?) I think they should offer a child's portion. I can make him easy mac any day of the week. Service was very average, if not below. The server was nice enough but brought out food without silver or napkins and kept forgetting to bring my dad his A1. His fries looked fantastic. You can tell they were real fresh cut potatoes. She kind of seemed like one of those girls who counts on getting a tip based on the way she looks. I would definitely come back though, it just didn't blow me away.

Was not impressed at all... Food was below average and WAY overpriced. Fajitas portion was very small for price and kids chicken fingers were overcooked. Parking lot stinks too. Sorry but this place is trying to be another Chiles or TGI... No big deal. Not worth the premium prices.

Husband, young son & I went for an early dinner on a Saturday night to watch some NCAA basketball. Our wait was only 10 minutes. Great place to watch sports! Great views of all TV's. Food was pretty good -- better is the selection of food-- pizza, pasta, burger, Mexican, vegetarian, soups, salad, etc.!!! I had the Blackened Tilapia which was good; hubby had the Anyway's pasta which was a little heavy on the pesto. Prices aren't bad at all! We'll be back!

We go to Anyway's with family/friends as there is never an outrageous wait time for a table at dinner time. Service is good. On occassion we hold our lunchtime Bookclub at Anyway's. Service is attentive, but never seems to interrupt our lively discussions. Even though there are TV screens all over the place (which I abhor when dining), the sound is thankfully turned off. Love the Italian Bruchetta salad!

Average food, below average service, like every other chain type bar/restaurant. Nice bar to watch games, but I won't go again, theres no reason to.

Good food, service was fairly attentive. Ate here twice while visiting the area and give good reviews for both times.

I've been to the Villa Park location as well, but to this location more recently since I live in Roselle now. It definitely has a slightly different feel than the older location. It feels a bit cozier and warm. I tried their fish tacos for the first time at this location. This is the first dish of theirs I was not that pleased with. They were good but felt lacking in substance. During the summer they had a special all the "The All Jacked Up" Burger. I think that's basically what they called it. It had lots of pepper jack cheese, bacon, and slices of jalapeno pepper on it. What a tasty burger. This location seems to acknowledge the bar and family setting exactly like it should. The bar feels slightly upscale for a sports car but is humble about it. The family section feels comfortable and relaxing; the perfect setting to enjoy the afternoon or evening with your family. My family has been here with me a few times. We always enjoy going back.
