Although it calls itself a Mediterranean Grill, there is very little actual Mediterranean food on the menu. It is better if you go in thinking diner or family restaurant. Their awning also says pizza, but there was no pizza on the menu. May be from previous owners. I've been there for breakfast and lunch For breakfast, they have a pretty standard menu, and probably won't go there again. The grits tasted instant and the sausage was burnt. There are better places in the area. For lunch, I've had the broasted chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. Was a solid meal, and have no complaints. The service was ok, but it was definitely not 20% service. They do have a senior menu, which seemed pretty good if you qualify.

We had a bad experience at their old location right before it closed down and they moved to Swansea. To their credit, the owner reached out to us and offered a meal on the house at the new location. It was meh. The breakfast skillet had zero flavor. We gave it a try a few weeks later and still meh. Service was slow the second time as well. You can get way better breakfast for the same or lower prices at 3 other nearby restaurants.

Nice little restaurant in Swansea. The service is good and the food is good. I personally liked the lemon pepper chicken and vegetables. Pie was good too but they could update their decor a little it's kind of out there. But good food and not overpriced. Recommended.

Not a bad little restaurant but not what we were expecting. We thought it was going to be a Greek restaurant but there were only a couple things on the menu that could be considered Greek. It's definitely more of a bar and grill emphasis on the bar part.

I should've looked at Yelp first! I looked at the name and immediately though "Greek food". Instead, this is a typical diner-style restaurant, but they did have Gyros, only, I wanted pastizio, which they had never heard of. I went at lunchtime, so the TVs were off. I was underwhelmed but in all honesty I don't feel I can properly judge the dinner ambience. My wife had to get her order fixed, and the service was kind of slow, even though the food was decent.

Don't bother. Sigh... I was really hoping for a good experience, it just wasn't. We drive by daily and when they first opened, it appeared to be very crowded but we have seen the crowds dwindle. We went for dinner on a Wednesday. Kids eat free on that day and we were surprised at the lack of kids. Heck, we were surprised at the lack of people at 6pm. My husband order the new york steak with a double side of broccoli. The steak was goodish but the broccoli was both over cooked and also cold and it was a single order. He wanted the fried chicken but they said it would be 25 minutes and we just didn't want to wait. I wish they posted that in their menu. I ordered the Steak Modiga and I got I don't know what. The menu described it prepared as usual: char grilled steak, provolone cheese on top, mushrooms, lemon & wine sauce. I asked for the mushrooms on the side and the girl said they were already made up in the sauce. What I got was a grilled steak buried in a big ole bowl of very saucy fettuccine alfredo. There was no lemon, no wine and the funny thing was, the mushrooms were in there but completely on top of the sauce. They were obviously added at the end. It was easy to pick them out but they should have never been there. There was also bacon and I think onions in the sauce or some kind of pork meat which is not usually included nor was it mentioned on the menu. We were hungry, I ate some of it and took the rest home to toss it in the trash. I didn't order fettuccine alfredo and steak. I wanted Modiga. Ugh! I got the Greek salad as my side, you pay an extra buck for that. It was OK but not as good as it used to be at their old place. But let's talk about the end of the night. A woman came to our table and she was most likely management. She asked how everything was. They are still fairly new, so I thought it best to be honest so they can learn and grow and thrive. They replaced a restaurant that is well known in St. Louis and this location failed so the chances of them not making it are good. I told her about the broccoli and she looked like she was going to puke. I told her a bit about my meal but her face was so strained I just felt too uncomfortable to go on. We explained we live in the neighborhood and it was our first time. She asked us to come back and said she was sorry about the broccoli and she said she tells the kitchen "do not keep broccoli from lunch and just throw it out and make new for dinner." I am not kidding! Do you know how long it takes to steam broccoli? 4 minutes tops! Awkward to say the least. We were done and just waiting for the check. She took the check from the server and the server said to us "Your broccoli was cold? I made sure I heated it up myself. You could see the unmelted butter sitting on top of it. My husband hadn't touched it after the first bite." Again, AWKWARD! Don't argue with me. Just get the food fresh and right the first time. Here is the best part, the server comes back with the check and said the manager adjusted your check and we hope you come back again. THEY TOOK OFF A MOFO BUCK! Yes! One whole dollar! WOW! Now grandma can get her operation!!! What the...? We are done here. There are WAY too many places to eat in this area. Good places. Oh and by the way, we LOVED this place when they were tiny and in their old location in downtown Belleville and only served greek food. Just loved it! Such a shame they had to ruin it.
