I've only gone through the drive through but so far so good. Overall good service and you're in and out without having too long a wait in the morning. The only gripe I had was I ordered a chocolate croissant and they gave me a regular one but hey people make mistakes, now I know to check my order before leaving the window.

I've been here many times and I wish could share the same excitement as my yelping buddies. I have had multiple poor experiences at this Starbucks. A few months ago, I was overcharged and didn't realize it until after I left. This time, it wasn't quite the experience you'd expect. The barista was very distracted or, "out of it." I ordered a venti and she handed me a tall and charged me $5.36. Humm... What's going on here? I explained what I ordered and she re-made my drink but had caramel all over the cup. A little off.

I would go 2-3 days a week after high school and Nicole would already know what i wanted -chai spice latte they were always nice and the place was very comfy to do homework or just to hang out with your friends

I have been there for coffee a couple of times. The barristas are super ftiendly, and orders are always right. They have food if you need a snack, comfortable lunge chairs, small tables, large tsbles, tall tables, outside tables, so anyone can find something that they like.

I love this Starbucks... they never get it wrong. Everything I order here has set the bar for standards and flavor. The baristas here smile and are friendly as well. They work very quickly, which is perfect for people like me who are always on the go! The inside is pretty cramped and if you're meeting someone there, chances are you're going to wait a couple minutes to find a seat. 9 out of 10 times I go through the drive-thru. Even when the drive-thru lane is long, they crank out the orders pretty quickly! This location sets the bar for what other Starbucks should aspire to be...I absolutely love this location, everything from the coffee to the food just tastes better here. Only bad aspect: Parking is a pain! & not to forget another positive... They provide service with a smile :)

I give a 4 because it's a Starbucks. But I also only give it a 4 because I've had my drink messed up many times here and for different reasons. I drink hot chocolate. A no brainer drink. I can't drink coffee for several reasons. So when I take a sip and its coffee I could get sick. I've also had my cup feel like it barely has anything in it. Depending on the barista at the time, sometimes the cup is heavy and full and sometimes it feels lopsided and bottom heavy because the top is ALL foam or whipped cream. They could do better.

I'm a regular here. The staff is friendly and the are appreciative when you give them a tip for service. They're pretty quick in the morning. It's close to the highway, pick up and go. My go to Starbucks! Say hi to Joey!

I've been coming here before work for the last 1.5 years or so. Not every single day, but pretty often... 3-5x a week, I'd say. Also, let me state that I am a former Starbucks employee (I quit January 2014). Let me start off with this: the staff there, they're pretty nice. Sometimes, they'll walk by when I'm standing at the POS, and they'll just be chatting and laughing with each other. Not the most annoying, but it's not that nice to ignore your customer. I mean, as a ex-Sbux employee, I understand there are daily tasks at hand, and I don't walk in during a rush, which means, those daily tasks are being done while I walk in. However, a simple, "I'll be right with you!" never hurt anyone? Also, there are a few people who work on bar when I go in that make me not want to purchase a hot espresso drink. Why? It's one fold, pretty much - they do not aerate the milk when they make the drinks. The milk is SCREECHING literally. I couldn't take it once and I asked the barista to PLEASE AERATE MY MILK MORE. I do not understand why they cannot follow THE one step that makes the milk velvety smooth. It doesn't really even take long at all. Like I said, the staff is pretty friendly, they just can't seem to make an hot espresso drink correctly. When I worked at Sbux, I never understood why customers came in defensive and in a bad mood when ordering, but now, as a customer, I totally understand. I'm paying Sbux to make a Sbux-standard drink, and let me tell you, it's not the cheapest thing in the world, but I go in for the experience and because I don't have the means to make my own latte at home, but when the baristas butcher that by butchering Latte 101: Aerating milk properly, then I will not be a pleasant customer. I mean, when you train, you watch like 15 videos on just aerating milk and the importance of it and what it SHOULD NOT sound like: screeching. Never have I ever written a review as extensive as this one (maybe I've only written a few other ones at this point) but I thought it was needed. I'm sorry I couldn't hop on board with everyone else's 5 star comments. I kept 2 stars, because of the friendliness of the staff.

Go here multiple times a day between my husband and I.... Lately drinks have been horrible! Not consistent, not good. Staff is very friendly.... But a $5-6 drink should be close to perfect for the money we spend there!

Good service but have given me the wrong coffee a few times, though they immediately change it out.

Who are these baristas? Coffee angels from heaven? What is it about this location, that draws me in with its...coffee magic? No matter where I am whether I'm in the city, or working by the airport or doing errands north of Addison I always say "Wait till we're in Addison and we'll go to the Starbucks on Lake St." The allure of knowing I'll drinketh of the perfect cup of joe draws me in. Like an addictive coffee fanatic I will only come here, as this place is THEE COFFEE CONNECT. Chai Latte? No problem, they'll whip that up and blow your mind with the perfect blend of sweet and spice. Want a Panini? No problem. They'll whip up a perfect quick meal that rivals nearby restaurants. In the mood for a caramel macchiato? No problem. They'll whip that up with the perfect punch of "wake me up" caffeine and touch of sweet caramel. How do they do it? I've never had a bad trip-er I mean bad coffee here. Ever. In three years. I've never been treated badly here either. Never had to wait long. Come to think of it, the store is never dirty either. This store is ,dare I say, perfect? They've set the bar so high though I can't go to any other starbucks since I get so disappointed and end up throwing my coffee away. (Yes $4 down the toilet, just like that). If you want to know what every Starbucks should be about , go here. But I warn you, you'll never be able to walk away from this place.

Yes, it's true, I'm a regular here. I most often frequent the drive-thru as I usually stop on my way to work. The staff is rather friendly and they've yet to get my order wrong. I have had the opportunity to go inside on a handful of occasions and I am rather pleased with those experiences as well. It's clean and very well organized inside. Need a coffee fix? This is your chance!

I've been here twice as a walk-in and I think the service is way to slow it seems like the Barista and cashiers are more interested in chatting with each other then serving their customers, whats makes this more frustrating is that both times it wasn't that busy.

If you've been to one Starbucks, you've been to them all. I think that's what the folks behind SBUX would like you to say. Not so true. This is the only location where I order my coffee extra hot. Before I started doing that, it was always hit or miss temperature-wise. Sometimes hot, sometimes warm. This location is also very small, so I always skip this place if friends and I want to hang out and chat. A big plus is that this location has a drive-thru. Can't beat drive-thru especially when you don't have much time. Just be careful with the parking area traffic. Between SBUX and the bank next door, eye doctor and other little business, the parking lot gets very busy so maneuvering around can be a little hazardous.

I love this SB! The staff is friendly, especially the helpful young man, John, the coffee is right on and the selection of "stuff" is stupendous, from mugs to chocolates, they have lots of SB paraphernalia. It's a welcome oasis on the long Lake Street trek. FYI - they have outdoor seating in the summer time. Yea, it faces the parking lot/street but it's still outdoors and I like that.

Let's see... they complimented my hair and it seemed totes genuine, they were the smiliest bunch of baristas outside of a Caribou Coffee (sowwies, but I kind of favor the 'Bou), there was a mistake order so they only charged me for a Grande but gave me Venti chai tea latte with soy, and they didn't seem even the slightest put out when my dumb azz was in la-la land and didn't pull up anywhere near the drive-through window so as to make them hurl half their body out the service window to hand over my order. Me loves you long time.

It's a nicer, newer Starbucks, with friendly employees, but lately it seems to be a magnet for middle-aged and elderly eastern European men. I'm sure they are not bad guys, but sometimes they seem to congregate here in droves, and in nice weather sometimes take over most of the outdoor seating and smoke just a few feet from the entrance. Yuck. If that is not your scene, I would recommend sticking to the drive-thru.

Super disappointed. Walked in, made my order, and was told the promotion coupon I had was not valid when my friends used it yesterday and other locations took it just fine. The manager himself didnt even try to make me happy (as I was very unhappy when he told me the news) and he made me feel like a criminal saying there are a lot of fake coupons out there. I got it through what I have seen as a legit website on facebook...whether it is real or not you should never make your customers feel like never come back again!!!

Having grown up in Addison, it's strange seeing a Starbucks where there used to be a corn field. The location is a bit cramped and for people who aren't from the area it's like rocket science trying to figure out how to get there. You have to navigate a maze of parking lots and driveways and since the driveways go behind the shopping area, you can't really see which building is Starbucks unless you observe the line of cars at the drive thru. I can't fault them, because it's not their fault the design of the shopping center is messed up. I love Starbucks espresso. Just like all Starbucks locations they have a good selection of drinks. I always get a skinny latte (sugar free, fat free). Their baked goods aren't that great, but they're not terrible either. I would only suggest them if you're that hungry. I love the breakfast sandwiches, though. I never have problems when I come to this location. It's almost never too hectic. The seating area is pretty spacious but I'm always able to find a seat. +1 for the drive thru.

One of the nicer and cleaner Starbucks and the staff is friendly too. Please bring back Vanilla Spice Latte.

Your standard medium sized Starbucks. The staff is always friendly and very quick getting your order to your caffeine starved hands. Seating here can be hit or miss. All the chairs and tables are usually taken up by older European men who seem to chat about who's beer (vodka) gut looks better in their undersized AX shirt. Bottom line, take your order to go. Better yet, use the drive through.

This is my favorite Starbucks of all the Starbucks locations on the face of the earth. It is so well managed and all the baristas are beyond awesome. Ana, Jon, Tony, John, and everyone else are why my wife and I go to the Starbucks in Addison. My wife and I usually always get the some thing, and it is so refreshing to be asked, "the usual?" You don't get that any more these days. This is a Starbucks that just plain rocks! I look forward to coming here with my wife for many years to come.

Just moved to town and this is the closest Starbucks to my house. The staff here is very friendly and fast with my order. My only complaint is that the outdoor patio allows people to smoke, forcing all patrons to walk through a cloud of smoke in order to enter and exit the building. One very nice employee told me the company doesn't allow smoking and the police department has been called out on numerous occasions, though I would believe this more if there were signs to this effect. I really like coming here and would hate to go find another one farther away just because selfish smokers and their horrible habit prevent me from getting a breath of fresh air in a business establishment existing for all of us. Reading through previous reviews, this is not an isolated complaint. Bad business move Starbucks.

You can't beat Starbucks. You always know the quality and consistency will be great. Other coffee chains try hard, but the quality is lacking. When we travel we always go to Starbucks, we know it's always great!
