Location is a bit odd in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. This is a big place! Fun place for a group to hang out or just watch a game. Food was just ok, tried a wrap the first time and did not like it. The second time I went I had a salad and it was better, but still not the best. There is so much to do here, food, drinks, pool, and more! So much to keep any group entertained. Prices are reasonible. Check out the drink specials online because a few times the staff did not tell us about a specific special unless we asked.

Service - 9/10 Atmosphere - 9/10 Price - 1/10 Went in to catch a 2013 Hawks playoff game with my 2 cousins. We had ordered quite a few buckets of beer, and ordered a few food items too, so I'd say our bar tab was pretty decent by the end of the 2nd period. I knew I had to drive home, so I finished up my last beer and I ordered a Coke, to help dilute the alcohol. I quickly finished it and wanted to order another before the 3rd period started. I got my servers attention to get another and she stopped and told me that refills weren't free. WHAT?!?!? No free refills on SODA. I can MAYBE understand charging for the first one, but for subsequent glasses, are you kidding me?! And I realize that giving 1 star for just this reason is seemingly ridiculous, but come one. We racked up a nice bar tab and you're charging me for something that costs you $0.10 per cup. Hell, I should've just kept drinking beer!!! It was not the servers fault, and I place no blame on her, she was absolutely FANTASTIC, but management needs to get their heads out of there rear ends and stop trying to Jew people out of every penny. The place is huge though. Pizza's are pretty decent. They have bags, darts, pool, lots of TVs and huge projector screens, definitely enough to keep you entertained, I'll at least give them that much to their name.

Good Food good times Plenty of Tv's to watch all the games.

This place is HUGE! Great for large groups & plenty to keep everyone entertained. They have tons of pool tables, darts, an area for groups to play bags, air hockey, beer pong...I'm sure I missed stuff. They have separate bar area, plenty of big TV's everywhere, and big dining section. Add in a large specialty bar menu & a huge food menu and this place truly has something for everyone. So why not 5 stars? Service is hit or miss, but hey, it's a sports bar, so my expectations aren't very high. I've had food that's great and other times food that was not bad, mind you, but just "meh". They don't mind doing separate checks for everyone in a large group either so that's a big plus!

Pyramid...... when you're ordering delivery, make sure that you order it LONG in advance!! It took an hour and a half to get my food when they told me it would be 45 minutes.... I know I should probably be a little more patient, but when you are on your lunch hour at work, it makes you a little crunched for time. I would have liked to give them 5 stars... but I just couldn't today after they left me with 10 minutes to eat. Otherwise, their food is AWESOME!! Their service rocks!! Overall a great place for a few cold ones, and great food.

Great place to watch a UFC fight and the bean bags set up there that you can play for free is an added bonus

Good pizza! But it took waaaay to long for everything! Not a good place for conversation as the sports play everywhere in the resturaunt and the bar. It is way to loud!

I've been a huge fan of the place since they opened April of 2005. Pyramid has always had awesome food, drinks, and service. The place is HUGE too, the building it occupies used to be a grocery store. I've held several different events here: birthdays, rehearsal dinners, bachelor parties, fantasy drafts, etc... I highly recommend the beef and gravy pizza and fried ravioli. In my opinion, this is the best bar in the suburbs.

Great place to go shoot some pool and get bar food. If your going just to eat this wouldn't be my recommendation.

Wow !!! What a bad service from the waitresses ... The bartender was great, full of energy and life and stories ! (Heather) She needs a new place to work. The owner was rude and saying ""this is my bar" the whole time instead of trying to find out what happen. Won't be back

  • Heather L.

I've never been inside because I don't ever get out. (Tired Mom with 4 kids) but we did order pizza from here. Once. Our regular place was closed that day. It was just ok. Kinda sloppy. But I'm sure everyone has their own opinions about good or bad pizza. They shouldn't change anything because I'm sure other people like it. It wasn't my taste though.

Prices for food and beverages are very reasonable. They have a huge number of pool tables and TVs everywhere. But I gotta take a star away from getting rid of free pool tuesdays. Also a star from very cold and rude "bouncers" at the entrance and sometimes the crowd goes a little shady. Other than that they got bags and darts, bathrooms are fairly clean too. Service is pretty decent. Not necessarily my to go bar in A town (that's Bigbys for sure), but not a bad place to catch a game or two and rewind after work.

I went there for a Muay Thai event and decided to order a pizza. It was really good. It was that really thin crust pizza. Their cheese fries are not too bad either . Highly recommend it

Here almost every Sunday. Love the place! Huge so you never feel cramped. Love how clean (even the bathrooms!!!) are. Love the pizza and buffalo chicken wrap. They have different specials and events always going on. The staff is amazing and friendly. Just a awesome place all around!

Well, I can't comment on the food - I never got that far. Called on 5-19-2013 at 3:10PM and was greeted by a man that was clearly overwhelmed by his job on the phone. He asked - er - told me - HOLD PLEASE - in a most unfriendly and irritated tone - What's the point of even saying it if you don't wait for a reply, even as a courtesy. A few minutes later he attempted to pick the line back up but accidentally hung up on me. I waited a few - just out of sheer curiosity to see if they would call me back - after all, I'm a marketer and always like to see what lengths business will go to (or not go to to salvage a customer) every restaurant that takes delivery orders uses caller ID. No dice, so I called back. When he answered again I told him he hung up on me - no apology - he blamed me for loosing the connection. I advised him that they had lost an opportunity to gain a new customer. His Reply: "Alrighty Then". (I don't really care, I'm just here to collect a check is what I heard) Pyramid Club, you've lost my business - I don't spend my money where it's not appreciated - unfortunately bad service has become the norm in most instances today, but there are a few of us left who won't give a business a 3rd shot. Get some professional staff that is friendly, polite, and courteous...and not argumentative. I would suggest recording and reviewing your staffs incoming calls to work with them on an ongoing basis - These are basics - if you can't get that far - well, I certainly don't trust you with preparing food I eat. -Just "food" for thought.

I went there twice last week. Once during the Bears preseason game, I found the place overbearingly loud with all the TVs and sound being piped in though a speaker. The bar is divided into sections, pool tables, bags, darts, bar, dining which is good for the families who come to just dine. Waitstaff for dinning wasn't awesome. They tend to congregate and chit chat. The second time I went was late Sunday evening and it was practically empty. Waitstaff was good for the bar.

I've been here a couple times. I really like the wraps! It's hard to find a good wrap in my opinion I'm picky. I love how giant this bar so. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but from the inside its HUGE. There is a dining area, the bar area, bags, pool tables, darts, and a small patio. They have drink specials every day of the week! I've come here with friends to eat, coworkers to drink, and next month my 10 year reunion . If you're looking for a good time it's definitely a good low key affordable place to stop in!

Although I've experienced better (get your head out of the gutter, I'm talkin about pizza here!!!).. I decided to give Pyramid an AOK. Aside from living in the area for longer than I'd like to admit - came here for the first time the other night for a friends bday bash. My impression on the bar itself? the layout is nice - tons of tables to eat, good amount of pool tables, LOTS of T.V's!! They are everywhere here.. Place is pretty large and its actually not a bad idea to have a party here. Atmosphere? darker, lots of red, cheap tables and chairs. They sectioned off an area for the party & there are partitions running along both sides when you walk in, so it was more private and away from the bar itself. For a Friday night, it was pretty quiet - not many people there & I was kind of surprised by this only because it is the largest & one of the few sports bars in this town. Service was really good. Food & drink was always checked on by our server, she was great. Food - pizza is no biggie, a little greasy. Wings are surprisingly good here. Meaty, good size and loved the hot spicy kick (cause I'm a hot spicy chick) did I just say that? Potato skins were decent. In fact nothing was 'small or miniscule' here. Salad was ok. Good assortment of beer although I had chardonnay. If you order off the menu, there is a ton they offer. If your thinking of having an affordable celebration with a large guest list, you may want to check this place out. If you want to watch a game & have some brewski's, this may be the place for you. Lots of parking available. If it was 12am and I was craving pizza, yes I would order from here (they deliver & close at 1am) but only because all the really good pizza joints are closed. I'm not saying this place is bad or divey - it's just not my kinda place to hang out & have a drink. I'd venture out of this town for that.

Good food, horrible slot payout. I've never lost so many consecutive times on a slot machine. We go there after poker on Wednesday nights and it is always dead. The food is ok for a bar and the wings were actually pretty good. Drinks are fairly decent as well.

  • Jess F.

Wings here are really really good!! I have only had sandwiches besides the wings and they were also good. Service is pretty good. Their mixed drinks are pretty weak. That is the only thing they could work on with their bartenders.

I believe this place has a lot of potential to be a great business. The sheer size of this place is unbelievable. 18 pool tables, two sets of bag, two dartboards A large sitting area for eating and a large bar that overlooks all of it. I don't know if this place is 18 years old and up or not because I was carded and my wife was carded when we came through the door at 6:30 PM. Thought that was kind of odd considering they have a restaurant type area. Security was lacking Saturday night when my friend saw two men snorting cocaine in the bathroom and a short time later were bothering other customers. It took a lot of persuading but the manager finally did something about it. Other than that one mishap we had a pretty good time. I suppose that could happen anywhere but it's mostly how they dealt with it that bothered me.

We normally order food fairly regularly from this place and never seem to have any major issues but tonight was a different story we ordered on a extremely snowing night on line it said 45 minute delivery time. A hour and a half later my wife called just to make sure they received the order and before she could even tell the girl on the phone who we are she very rudely says its on the way! The delivery driver must have been trying to call while we were on the phone with the location and I then received 2 calls at the same time from the location saying the driver can't get in touch with us. Somewhat rude i might add... the driver said they sent them to the wrong location..? My address was on the ticket so I'm not sure what that was about. After we received our food we noticed a salad was missing. I called to see if the driver may have just left it in the car and was told they will just credit our account cause it would take hours to get us out a salad whatever. . I can deal without having my salad.... We then noticed that our 2 liter of sprite was also missing so I then called back again and was told we did not order one. I somewhat argued it then told the girl i will have to check my emailed receipt. Of course I was correct I did order my pop so I called back again. I told the girl it is on my receipt. She then said OK we will put it on your account. I told her not to worry about it cause we will just order from another pizza joint in the future. Keep in mind we are staying at a hotel btw so I'm not sure what account they are talking about crediting. Also our pizza appeared to have be dropped. I didn't even want to call back again at that point.

UPDATE: (12/23/13) I find it laughable most of the "Awesome reviews!" are all recent. I shake my head at this place. They must have some awesome friends willing to put their neck on the line for this dump! UPDATE: (8/6/2013) Last night I was DENIED service to this low grade bar. The owner is obviously a cry baby and can't take a bad review to the face (even though I did give props to the bartenders, cocktail waitresses and pizza) and when I tried to order said pizza the bouncer instructed me that "I was the girl that used to work there and the owner told him to not let me in anymore." Ummmm...wtf? So your bar is in obvious need of slamming business and you deny a customer who STILL put at least a few $100 into your place because you take a bad review personal? Proof is in the pudding my friends. I left with my room mate and found a MUCH better sports bar in Roselle that is not as low grade as this dump and all customers are welcome. I have business owner friends and the last thing they would do when they're obviously hurting is turn away customers who never started trouble other then a bad (sorta) review on Yelp (lol i mean really). My friends and I are boycotting this place now for obvious discrimination and would rather support other local business where owners treat their PAYING customers with at least some sort of respect. DUECES PYRAMID! To cut to the chase: Pros ~Pizza is delicious. This place uses a recipe from the former business that was here and it works. ~Most cocktail waitresses and bartenders are sweethearts. Which at a sports bar can always be a toss up. ~Drink specials are decent Cons ~Run as both a bar AND a family restaurant. That means while you pound beers after a long day at work you're going to have little Tiffany and Brittney squealing at the cheap arcade game next to you or racing to the bathroom beside you. I once had a Snoop Dogg song of mine skipped because parents found the song offensive to the softball team there. (Its A BAR!!) ~There's a high turn over rate of employees because the owners treat their employees like crap. I didn't work there long but I got the low down. Unless you're kissing their ass you get treated like a low grade temp. Example: I was in a car accident and had my grandma pass away the same weekend so I of course took some time off. When I tried to come back I was told by the owner that they already had enough people, though when I was there for take out they seemed to be struggling to me. Whatever. ~If this bothers you: Decor is cheap like the low grade part of Las Vegas. I understand that it's a bar but shampooing the rugs and a paint job wouldn't hurt. ~I once was here with friends and had our music cut short to the bulls game at a deafening volume. I understand its a sports bar but if you see a group is having fun don't force everyone to listen to the game at a volume where you can't even hear the person next to you. Like I said good for a quick pizza and nothing more. Check out Rick the bartender he's a sweetheart. Most of the cocktail waitresses will take care of you but there's crap to deal with. Me personally I'll avoid this place if there's other options and only come here if there's nothing else.

I live near here so my husband and I have been here quite a bit. We enjoy playing pool recreationally (my husband does have his own cue) but we're by no means pros and play pretty sloppy most of the time. You'll find a mix of different pool players here. You'll find what looks like pros and professional amateurs practicing by themselves on tables, couples out on dates with girls acting silly, what appears to be un-documented locals just passing the time, and groups of guys having a guys night. The tables are clean and kept up well. At least as far as I can tell, because I'm just an amateur player. Some of the tables seem to play faster than others. The community cues likewise don't seem so terrible either. This place is huge and has super high ceilings which means that even when the place is busy, it doesn't seem to get too loud. They used to have a DJ on the weekends (don't know if they still do) and as long as you don't get a table close to the booth, the sound disperses pretty well. So just try to get a table as far to the back of the room as possible if you plan on having a conversation. The price to play pool here is pretty standard and there are a couple nights a week that its free pool, including Friday nights after 5pm, which is pretty rad. Let's talk about the pizza here. AMAZING. The stuffed pizza has a lot of ingredient options and its HEAVY when it comes out to you. It does take 45 minutes so don't order the stuffed pizza if you're in a hurry to eat. If you plan on starting a tab, they will ask for your credit card upfront. But if you're a regular and the staff knows you well enough, they might decide you're not a flight risk and skip asking you for it (which happened to us on one occasion). I can't really speak too much on the service. We help ourselves to a pool table, order a few Mikes Hard Lemonades, maybe some pizza and that's all we need. We've never had any problem with someone not coming around every now and then to make sure we don't need something. I remember always seeing a "help wanted" sign in their window for wait servers. Which gets my curiosity as to why they have such a turnover that they need to keep a help wanted sign in the window all the time. I haven't been there in a few months, but the last I was there, they did have a stage set up in the "restaurant" area of the place for bands to play. But I've never seen any bands play there, so I can't speak too much about that. Overall, this is a great place to come to get your pool playing on!

It's location is a little off-putting since it's next to a Thrift Store and a Dollar Store but it is nice inside and the place is gigantic. They have a decent amount of pool tables, darts, an area for bags and a good size bar. The food is awful though so I would not recommend going there to eat.

Food was ok, but being a pizzeria and charging for every coke refill is ridiculous. We ate and drank alcohol, so we were stunned to see charges for every fountain drink(full price too)...needless to say we will not be back.

This place is ridiculously huge. It has about thirty or so pool tables and a step up bar that'll seat 40. It has a ping pong table near the cornhole set up. I came here for a MainEventCharityPoker event. Upon first sight, I thought it was gonna be a campy spot considering the front was sandwiched between a Village Discount and a dollar store. No matter, the neon lights led me through. Again, the place was huge and quite sports bar'ish. I ordered a salad that was HUGE. I don't mean, huge, I mean, HUGE. Like three small salads worth. It had fresh and plump tomatos in it and had some amazing chicken with bacon cut up in it. The bar itself had some cheap deals and ridiculous ones - captain and coke was 3 bucks, though a BudLight was 3.50? A diet coke was 2.50? PBR was 2 bucks. According to my table mates, this place is usually hit up just for the pool tables. Also, it turns "ghetto" with "wanna be thugs showing their fake bling."

Free pool for 21+ Tuesdays after 6pm, drink specials everyday, and pretty damn good food! I really like their hot wings and their pizza has a tangy and tasty sauce- * they're using smaller chicken parts. It's really big inside with large seating when you walk in on either side, lots and lots of TVs & projection, a nice bar area, tons and tons of pool tables, bags, etc. The one drawback is at about 9pm on the weekends, they have a DJ- which isn't the bad thing, but it's kinda hard to talk to friends with the music blasting. The crowd is eclectic with young and old spread throughout. Update 10-24-09: -1 for the bartender short-pouring the specials. If there's a bald white guy serving the servers, be ready to be disappointed. +1 for the waitress making sure we were taken care of (more than needed, but still had coverage).

sad, sad little place. a bunch of wanna be security/ I went with my son who showed his i.d for a pool table (um under 21 hello) . while playing he took a sip of my beer and like swat, cop wanna be s came outta da wood work. ummmm excuse me, u knew he was 20 when u rented us the table, you could have been polite about it and just said, "ma'am please do not let your son drink" but no, instead you swarm down in the middle of my pool game because he sipped my beer. well the drinks sucked to begin with, the service was medicore at best an your food sucked! do yourself a favor, find a place that values it's customers instead of embarrassing them.

I had lunch at the Pyramid club for the first time. The place is huge, looks clean, and has a sports bar feel. The menu has plenty of choices and has pretty standard bar fare. Burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, wings, pizza, etc... I ordered the Chicken Bacon Cheddar Melt. The sandwich was plenty big and tasted just OK. The onion rings that came with the order were not very good. They had a weird bread crumb crust on them that seemed like shake and bake. Don't get the onion rings the fries were much better. The 4 guys I went with all agreed that the food was just OK. Plenty of food, no one walked away hungry. I've heard the pizza there is pretty good. I'll have to try that next. The folks at the Pyramid Club could stand to work on the flavor of the food then they might have a winner.....

From the outside, it looks like one of the many mega dance clubs that I used to sneak in to before I turned 21. But I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't at all like that. There is a small area for dancing, a lot of seating around the bar, lots of flat screens for sports viewing, lots of pool tables, darts and a Bagz area. The place is ROOMY and just plain HUGE! I was there with a group for a birthday party--there was probably about 20 of us and service was really good. Our server was friendly and I liked that each of us could pay as we ordered so we didn't have to try to split a bill 20 ways at the end of the night. The menu is standard bar food. Chicken tenders were OK, nothing spectacular. But at least served piping hot. There was this weird glitch though. Many of the gals in the group ordered the Volcano as the night progressed (Strawberry Margarita and Pina Colada mix). By 945 we were told they were out of the mixes and couldn't make anymore. That's945 on a a Saturday night, they are out of the mix. It's like Subway running out of tomatoes at 1pm in the afternoon and telling folks they can't have tomato anymore. Needless to say, someone must have thought the same thing, because our server came by about 20 minutes later and said someone went out to buy more of the mix. After the big football game was over (sorry Colts) the music came on--lots of 80s,90's and current dance-y tunes. With daily drink specials (cheap!) and great pool rates (cheap!) I would have expected more patrons visiting. Perhaps it was the horrible parking lot that scared everyone away. There wasn't even any snow on the ground hiding parking grids, but everyone seemed to be parking anywhere they wanted to. There's no cover on UFC fight nights--maybe that's when the place gets full.

This place is pretty cool. They have a large room of pool tables, a few dart machines, and a variety of other games...even cornhole! I wasn't aware when I went in, but I think at certain times they have free pool if you buy 2 drinks, which I thought was awesome. I went in expecting to pay-to-play...apparently you only have to drink to play! :) It's a really large place, too...great for groups or just to go out and have a good time. They have a lot of different events throughout the year, too...I know they host wrestling and I even went to a belly dancing show there. I haven't yet eaten there, but the pizza looked and smelled really good. Very cool.

Came here on a Thursday night wanting to play pool with my friend, but couldn't because of leagues. We sat down and had a couple drinks .... the waitresses are fast and very friendly. The place is huge! I was expecting a dive bar from the outside! It's a very clean kept sports bar complete with a awesome patio with TV's outside. The pizza is wonderful too, and not too expensive! I will definitely be back!

Fish sandwich comes in a square. I don't know of any square fish, do you? Guinness pints are served in mini tulip glasses. You're not getting an imperial pint. Service was pleasant but I wouldn't come back to eat. There's better places.

Since they have taken over my favorite pizza place "Johns" in Addison about 2-3 years ago I have become a fan. The Pizza is great, the other food is typical bar food. But I mostly come for the Pizza. Its really big inside, we have played pool here and had a nice time. I dont feel all cramped up at this place. I love how they have separate areas for dining/bar/poo/games. I have had several family get-togethers here and have not heard any complaints from my family. I know my sister and her hubby go here often too. TV screens everywhere! Not to loud you can have a conversation if needed. Staff is very friendly from when you walk in to when you walk out.

Great place to watch a game! My husband and a group of friends went there last night for the Wings vs. Hawks playoff game and we were so grateful for the size of venue. Even with a full house, it didn't feel over crowded (especially with 19,000 square feet). Plenty of pool tables, darts, ping pong, air hockey, and bags. It's awesome to have games to play during the period breaks! They have a very broad menu with several choices to please. I ordered the mild boneless buffalo wings (they were ok - I was expecting buffalo sauce, but it was similar to a BBQ. Not terrible, but not what I was expecting). The pepper jack mac n' cheese bites were amazing! Worth every penny! My husband got a burger, which he seemed to be pleased with. Our friends ordered a pizza and were also happy with their choice. Service was great for a Saturday night too! We will definitely be back to sample more of the fare and atmosphere but the pepper jack mac n' cheese will be on my plate every time! Check it out!

This was a weeeeeeeeeeeird combination of casino-feel, large multi-roomed bar, and pool hall. It was pretty empty and felt like awkward and doom-y. The service was nice albeit at one point the two (um... unprofessional-looking/dressing is the only nice word I can think of) waitresses were squealing and jumping around for awhile. The chicken wings were yummy. :)

We went here to watch the bulls playoff game. There was plenty of room to sit which was nice for a change. When you see if off of Lake St. it's located far in the back of a parking lot. wish the parking lot had parking lines as people park their cars however they wish, but plenty of parking which is good. When you go inside it's HUGE-spaceous and high ceilings. The lighting is pretty dim. Lot's of mega TV's and plenty of flat screens TVs. Big eating area on both sides, lots of pool tables good for tournaments past the seating area. On the right side of the room is a long bar with more TVs, near the back you'll find darts, fooze ball tables, and baggs and finally the bathrooms. It's a long walk from the eating/seating area to the back of the room. I wish they had some bath rooms near the front. The food was really good. I LOVE the fish and chips (3 big pieces on a bed of hot crispy fries with fresh tartar sauce). I also had their hot wings, the hot is not really hot but the ranch dressing tasted fresh. The chicken rice soup was ok, was hoping more thicker, heartier than soupy. Our food always came out nice and hot and plenty to go around. Heard their pizzas are pretty good as well. Our server Debbie was really nice and attentive which is a plus. I would go back there to eat and watch a game, they have daily specials which is always nice to see. Check it out, don't let the neon green sign fool you.

I've been in here before for a friend's band's gig and it was all right, saw a bunch of kids I knew from going to school in Addison... if that's your thing, enjoy! (If not, then, head's up!) Anyway we just learned that they have John's Pizzeria's recipe, or however that worked out, so that's our new go-to delivery place since John's closed. Every time I order from here my family gives me a big old thumb's up, and that's a very good thing.

A Chicago style spacious pool hall and reseraunt/bar. Most of the times I go there it is dead but this is a great place. good food friendly staff. Many pool tables and one of the biggest clubs in the Western Suburbs. They hold private parties and is a great place to watch a game. They now have the ld Johns pizza recipe which was a great pizza

Wow !!! What a bad service from the waitresses ... The bartender was great, full of energy and life and stories ! (Heather) She needs a new place to work. The owner was rude and saying ""this is my bar" the whole time instead of trying to find out what happen. Won't be back
