Excited to have an alternative to McDuffs. Great variety of food and beer. Family friendly with a board game menu. We watched the Seahawks game and played a board game. From a Cubano to wing fries and orange chicken we had quite the grub. The fries could be crispier and a bigger portion so I would ask about that. I'm not a vegetarian but there were a lot of good options for that too.

Friendly staff, a great selection of microbrew ciders & beers and the best boneless wings I've ever had!

A wonderful little restaurant in downtown Sandpoint, ID. Streets were quite as we sat outside on a nice 70 degree day. Ordered the Calamari appetizer which was delightfully crispy and fresh my boss wanted some. For the entree, I ordered a Gyro which was huge and fresh. Cucumber water was served and it had a refreshing flavor-more of a light crispy flavor as opposed to lemon water which leans acidic. Definitely if I came back this way, A stop at this restaurant is in order.

Yummy Food, HUGE beer list, fun atmosphere, good service. My only complaint is that as a vegetarian, it's a little disappointing. They stopped serving my favorite dish (vegan sloppy joe) and the tofu is dry. But all in all a great place !!

Food was good, service friendly and attentive, great beer section on tap and bottled. But the food order was very slow. They should have discounted something for how long it look. It's new, so We'll be back in a couple months to try again.

Pretty good food just off the main strip. Service was good and we had a large group with two families. One of the better places that we've eaten at in Sandpoint.

If you want an over priced meal and crappy food then this is the place for you. Wings are basically 10 for 10, the slaw is to barf for, and the BBQ sandwich is pretty bad. Family agreed that we could get better food at McDonalds.

Great service, very friendly staff, delicious food and great craft beer selection. I loved the Bon Bon slider, what a great mix of flavors. My wife enjoyed the shrimp tacos and she loved the wasabi sauce with it.

Had some great, different beers on tap. Offered board games to play at your table while you ate. This was something fun and different, and so great for us since we were dining with our kids. Food was really good!

This review is for the bar side of the operation. We went for beers and to hang out. Great service from a friendly guy with redhead and beard. They offer a very extensive list of beers. Just what we like! We also ordered a plate of fries. They were tasty, but the presentation could be improved upon. We enjoyed the chipotle and wasabi dipping sauces. Go check it out!

This is my first time to the Little Olive, but I'm a big fan of greek food. I love the location, a quaint little old house downtown (the location of the original Ivano's). I was in for lunch and had a gyro plate - it was good but not warm as I expected. They were quite busy and the wait staff seemed a little stressed - perhaps because the environment is condusive to casual, lingering, dining but they needed to turn tables. Overall good experience - everyone was very friendly and this is the only place of its kind in Sandpoint so I hope it does well.

Talk about a seriously good Gyro. Overall the menu is a little limited, but everything I've had has been very good. Friendly service, and they also boast a VERY good beer list (particularly for a small town) that has many craft breweries

While we only had beer, we're going back this weekend to try the food! On the beer side, the bartender Magnus was awesome and very knowledgeable about all the beer on tap. Of note? 110 beers/ciders available!!! Not all on tap, but nevertheless one of the best beer selections I've seen in one location! It felt like we were hanging out in a friend's living room having a beer after skiing, which makes for such a relaxing atmosphere, I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Yummy really good mushroom hamburger and French fries Good service and nice atmosphere

This place was moderately good. They had gluten free buns which was cool. Lots of good beer. Maybe if our server was better, I would have given this place a better review. She wasn't rude or anything, just didn't have any knowledge of any of the beer/ciders at all and said she wasn't old enough to try any yet.

I was greeted by a friendly hostess who showed me to the bar. Bar tender was friendly and was able to recommend foods to my liking. Enjoyed the sample grapefruit beer and the glass of coconut beer. Pleasant conversation with the staff all very welcoming warm and friendly. I will be going back again because they made my 1st time experience wonderful. I give them 5 stars. Thank you staff @ the neighborhood pub.

We had really good, thick burgers but a strange waitress experience. She didn't know the menu or what their sauces were. At one point she said "these other customers thought it was a Wasabi mayo". Probably would have been a 5 if she was more informed and friendly.

We've been here twice and both times have been a nice change from your typical place. The offer local/fresh food. Small place but the outside seating is a plus for those who like to dine outdoors. Me, being a people watcher... Tend to venture inside and chow the lamb up. Gotta try the chicken pie. I can almost taste the mild hint of nutmeg in that dish. I'll be trying here again on my next visit to SP.

3=good. Never been here so decided to give it a try. Had the chicken kabob, salad, and rice. The portion was adequate and I neither left hungry nor stuffed. The salad was different from my usual Caesar, honey mustard, poppy seed, etc. The kabob was moist and tasty. The rice was flavorful and done to my liking. Service attentive and the restaurant clean. Pieced fairly. What more could one ask? Give it a try.

Was pretty good but they should have a bigger selection. I ordered the pizza it was good.

Excellent food and wine selection...yummy coffee! Friendly, helpful service. I rode my bicycle here and got stuck waiting out a thunderstorm. By 'stuck' I mean... this afternoon is lovely. Yay for storms!

Eight chicken wings for ten bucks? Huh? How bad could a standard chicken wing be, right? Not enough sauce and greasy, flimsy sticks of carrots and celery with a shred of saran wrap on my carrot. Even I know that a chicken wings costs maybe $.50 but to charge $1.25 for this average wing, I won't be returning. Potato salad wasn't cooked enough and perhaps everything could use a bit more seasoning. Prices are pretty bad for what you get.

What a cool little place off the beaten path. Found it on here and is the best Greek good I have ever had by far. Everything was freshly made and had great flavor. Will be coming here again for sure!

In my first review I said I would come back and I am glad I did. It still had the same wonderful charm and great service that I noted earlier. I ordered the Greek Village salad and really enjoyed it. The Lamb chops were great as was the Hamburger. No room for dessert so maybe the next time I will order that first. Will definitely be back.

I have not had any dish that disappoints! I love the cucumber water and lunch menus the best. Going out with friends is nice, and trying a bunch of the beers and wines. Highly Recommend!

Great night out....service was spot on, suggestions were great and all around apps to dessert well done. Look into the nightly specials worked for us. We will be back, maybe in the summer to enjoy the deck!

Really nice flavors, not big enough portions for the price. Really small indoor space to sit, kinda hard to feel like you're in a private dining area since you can hear and practically feel the person at the next table. Still a better option than others for vegetarian fare.

We called ahead to make a reservation for four poeple and when we arrived we were seated within 5-10 mins. The place was busy and the atmosphere was nice but on the loud side (hard wood floors). The chairs were funky...cheap banquet style chairs covered in a cloth material to hide the chair. We ordered drinks and apps and then watched several other couples be seated. Our drinks and appetizers came were delish but then came the long wait for our meals. So long that the other couples seated after us recieved their food first. We waited for more than 60 mins...yes, 60 plus mins. The waiter applogized and mentioned that they have a small kitchen...yada... yada..yada. You would think they would bring us more pita bread or something to keep us going. Nope...nothing. We just sat there watching the doors to the kitchen. We were very disappointed...so much so that it took away our enjoyment of the food. Not great for a $80 meal. I'm not sure if we'll go back.... maybe. I think the food was good enough to give it one more try.

My wife and I both loved this place. Reasonably priced and the food is excellent and the staff were great!

Went twice--lunch was reasonably priced, a tasty gyro with Greek sides. Dinner was disappointing. Over-fried calamari and a lamb kabob which was small, tough and overpriced at $17. Service was attentive and atmosphere pleasant. If we go back, will only be for lunch.

Delicious Greek Village salad with hummus balls. Wonderful atmosphere, very restful. He had a HUGE burger. Beer selection reasonable, wine very good.

Heard this place had opened since my last visit to Sandpoint, so went here for lunch with my husband. Decor is very bright and airy--lots of blue and white. Several of the appetizers looked intriguing; we settled on the mushrooms, which came with wonderful fresh warm pita wedges. We liked the sauce for the mushrooms so much we saved it and used as a dip for our wraps. My falafel wrap was very tasty and fresh and my husband enjoyed his salmon wrap. We definitely plan to go back, I hope for dinner as the lunch menu was on the small side (mostly wraps and salads).

I am a Little Olive FANATIC! Being pregnant, I've had a hard time with food in general. I don't know if it's the super fresh ingredients or attention to detail, but I literally cannot get enough of this restaurant. I've had the Gyro plate with the house salad and dressing (BEST. DRESSING. EVER. It's like a lemony-yogurty goodness explosion in your mouth) twice a day for the last few days, and I don't see myself slowing down any time soon. Consistently fresh, flavorful, and AWESOME! Eat here. Your mouth will thank you.

My second time here and I didn't think it could get better but it did! They encourage you to take your time and relax while enjoying the great food. We were there for about 3 hrs trying different appetizers and taking advantage of the half off wine bottle on Monday's. A must when I'm in town.

This med restaurant has it all....great atmosphere, phenomenal food, and second-to-none service!!! The owners are fantastic- they came out to meet us, and one of them was on the floor serving! The wine selection is great, and Monday is 1/2 off a bottle night!!!! I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND the little olive!!!!!!!

  • Gail S.

I had the falafel pita and my mom had the crispy shrimp po boy. Both were outstanding. Mondays are 1/2 price off wine bottles. We sat outside for perfect lunch. Quick and friendly service! Will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic girls night out at Little Olive. Great beer selection, great Gyro, and fun staff. We will definately go back-but next time will time our dinner to last until 9 so we can hear the dj. Opa!

Love it! Everyone is always friendly and inviting. You gotta try the Shrimp Saganoki!! It's worth the drive up from Coeur d'alene!

Can I just say Wow! I usually don't expect a lot from smaller towns when eating out (previous experience of course) but this place would give similar restuarants in Seattle a run for their money. The service was great and very personable considering that we had a 10 month old baby in attedance. Granted, he is an easy baby. Not only our waitress interacted with our son, who is a total flirt, but the other guests couldn't help themselves either. We did have to wait quite a while to get seated though thus the lack of an additional star as there are not very many tables available. We started with the Saganaki w/shrimp and my goodness delish. To compliment all that I was eating I went with the Argento Malbec and I believe this may be the best Malbec I've ever tasted. I wonder if I can find a bottle or two somewhere because I would definitely buy more. For the main course both my husband and I elected to get the Lamb Kebobs and it was cooked so well it melted in your mouth. Kudos to the chef for sure. Now, we had to try a dessert considering the dinner we had and we didn't go wrong. We tried the Khaulua brownie. Now normally my husband and I always share dessert and I tend not to be a big fan of brownies but let me tell you I sure didn't want to share with my husband and wished I had ordered my own. It was so delectably, chocolatey good. For anyone visiting or even living nearby, treat yourself and head to the Little Olive.

Arrived here late in the evening after a long drive. The staff was friendly, service low key and helpful. Great menu and good food. Loved the quotes on the menu, they made us laugh. Simply fun.

John, the owner, asked us back in to try again and it was GREAT! The service was much quicker, we got our food super timely. Very happy. The food, as always, was outstanding. Recommend!

I have been a fan of Little Olive since they first opened. The husband/wife team made our dining experience even better. They are such great people and put so much love and attention into their customers/menu/food. Great food and service. Keep it up! Will be back again:)

Had an excellent lunch here. Nice wine list with 1/2 price bottles on Mondays. The falafel and gyros sandwiches were excellent. Pita bread was good as well. If I had a quibble it would be over the size of the side salad. You can order one for $1.50 with a sandwich, but it is the smallest imaginable. Maybe a third of a cup of greens. Salad dressings were both good. However, if I lived there I would be a regular at this place...it was that good.
