Tom's Gyros has one of the best cheeseburgers in town. My boyfriend and I have become regulars and the staff knows our order every time. The ambiance is a little run down but we still enjoy the food and will continue going despite of that.

There is no where that serves burgers as good as Toms. The end.

Love their patty melts! I think it's the only place to get one in Pocatello to get one. The gyros and onion are great too! We always get great customer service as well!

Interesting place, food looked like it had potential but I was let down by the lack of flavoring. Chicken skewers were vein filled but nice seasoning on just the outside. Tsatski sauce tasted mostly of sour cream /yogurt not a fresh cucumber to be found. Even the fry sauce was bland. Add that to the unappealing/crumbling decor which included a funky smell due to a recent rain. The waitress was awesome but I don't know if I'll return. If possible I would nominate this place for a restaurant makeover because it's that bad but I think it has potential.

Very tasty, properly prepared gyros. Friendly, helpful waitress. Ambiance - well its a diner, it is what it is.

Super delicious. I got the toms double bacon cheese burger and it was exactly what I wanted! My wife got the crispy chicken pita and loved it (she's pretty picky). Our server was nice and helpful. Overall a great experience.

It was pretty good, it was alright, it wasn't great, but it was fine! And I knew that it was going to be fine.

Oh my dear, darling yelpers, I have two magical words for you: Feta Burger. Sweet mother of fancy fromage...on a burger. I know what you're thinking--feta burger? That's not terribly original or even unusual. You are correct, of course. However, this isn't your average feta burger experience. You know how at most places, when you order a feta burger--you get a pile of crumbled feta balanced precipitously atop your burger, half of which promptly falls out upon the first bite? Not here, my people, NOT today! At Tom's, one's feta burger comes with a thick slab (I went with slab as 'slice' didn't seem nearly ample enough) of feta. The feta to meat ratio in a burger such as this versus the crumble top variety is completely altered--there is just more feta goodness in every bite. And, more cheese=more deliciousness...everybody knows that. Other than the fact that I'm, obviously, a little moony over their feta burger, it was an overall pleasant experience. The service was fast and friendly. Their french fries are thick cut and quite good and they give you a ton (I couldn't finish mine). The ambiance is typical greasy spoon/diner decor (which is to say--*shrugs* eh.). Everyone in our party left sated and happy. Well done!

DO NOT COME HERE! We walked in and the first employee we saw told us to take a seat anywhere we want until another employee, most likely the manager, told us that we would have to wait 15 minutes before being seated. This was ridiculous because the restaurant was completely empty. The manager continued to be rude to us until we decided to leave.

Seriously? A morbidly fat guy said that it would be a 15 minute wait for lunch when the place was half empty. Basically it was a "we don't serve your type here". You can go pound sand with that attitude and enjoy my 1 star you racist pig.

This place for me was hard to find, so the signage is lacking. Once you get inside your in a horrible 70s circus flashback. The owners daughter or wife thinks they are a painter and the place is covered in this "artwork" Now we have always taken the food to go so here is my review.... The service is friendly, sometime a little to open to talk about their disapproval of their job. New guy in the evenings is friendlier and happy to be there. My other half always orders the gyro. He has never finished it. More meat than expected the sauce is very good. I switch up every time. I have had the fish and chips, very tasty, and a good potion. The chicken Slovaki? Sandwich was yummy well portioned and a tasted great. Had the gyro, same as above. Next is some sort if burger. I think this place would do well with a big sign, fresh coat of paint and a redecorating. Loose the artwork.

Finally tried this place after debating for months and I am so glad I did! I moved here from CA last summer and have been so disappointed by most the food in the area, which is why I was skeptical to try this place. By the looks of the outside it's not very attractive but boy is their food amazing! I had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries which was perfect. Best burger I've had in this town, by far! My boyfriend had the gyro sandwich which was amazing! The meat was delicious. We also got an order of onion rings that were so so yummy! I will absolutely be back.

My girlfriend and I have been getting titanic burgers here for about six months and we were going to order some the other night. We made a request of them to salt our fries because they don't ever put salt on their fries. Now their fries are great but, they do need some salt. When we asked the woman on the phone informed us that she was the cook and WOULD NOT EVER do that for us, so we told her not to worry about cooking burgers for us on that note and she had the audacity to thank us in the most peppy tone. Customer service in this establishment does not exist.

Expensive and unbalanced. It's as if they throw whatever meat and sauce onto the burger without any form of talented chef balancing the flavors. Not that I expect fine dining from a burger place, but many of the sandwiches just seem to be made of ingredients that do not go well together. Many of my friends love this place though, so you should at least give it a shot.

Do not eat here! unfriendly, does not begin to describe the atmosphere. We were excited to eat at this local hangout until the locals, very clearly do not welcome out of towners. Being told there is a long wait in an empty restaurant, along with the nasty stare was as close to discrimination that I have ever felt. They do not deserve you, your time or patronage.

Loving their Titanic burger, super Titanic. God knows it wasn't good for me, but how can you say no to something this meaty.

Best gyro I have had in years. Loaded withs tons of meat & lettuce. Love the yogurt sauce. Will eat here again next time I am in town.

Made with a the same recipe used by the Gods, the gyros are quite simply fan-freaking-tastic. Seriously, once you try the gyro here, you will uphold every gryo that scurries across your path to a new and impossible standard.

We came in with a party of twenty, in town for our grand daughters basketball tourney. The decor made us apprehensive but the staff and food made up. The gyros are huge and delish! They put up with us sliding tables around and not to mention a bunch of fourth grade girls giggling and excited cuz they just won. I would go back and probably try something different.

I always get the super titanic burger and always feel full from it. I love their fry sauce, they don't use the standard ketchup and mayo for it but a combo of mayo and tomato sauce which I think makes it taste a bit better.

The food gets a 4 on the Noms-worthy scale. I love me a Gyro. The meat was a bit on the tough side, but sometimes I like a little crust on my Gyro. It's a good thing. Tom's scores bonus points on the portion size and copious tzatziki sauce. The Husband's burger was tasty, although we former Midwesterners will never understand the appeal of the "fry sauce"/"special sauce" on a burger plate. Fortunately, we've had enough Idaho burgers to remember to order "without". To each their own. As far as ambiance goes, this place goes without. I don't think all the locals/regulars care, and neither do I if the food is good. I will quote the Hubs and say "At least it's clean". True.

OK- so we were driving through town on our way to Salt lake City from Montana and we were looking for a local restaurant in Pocatello to try on our way through. After look at Yelp for a place to eat lunch.

I had the titanic burger and it was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Seemed pretty standard.

SO AMAZING This is my #1 Pocatello Eat! The place may not look that awesome, but the food is incredible. I have never had anything bad here. Be prepared to be full. If you order tater tots you may as well share them between 3 people. My number one thing to get here is the Feta Burger soo good! Another big reason why I love Toms is the Fry Sauce!

I love gyros, and had a taste for one on my last visit to Pocatello, and a search of Google came up with Tom's. The restaurant isn't much to write home about on the inside, but don't let that stop you: the gyros are great. You can also get a side of feta cheese to sprinkle on your gyro, which was new to me (we usually don't get that in Chicago, birthplace of the American gyro sandwich.) The meat was well cooked, not dry, and had just enough crunch on some of the slices. Will definately be back!

Shoot, I'm still full from my meal at Tom's Gyro, and it's already been nearly five hours! If it's been five hours and you're still not ready for another meal, it's probably safe to say you've got your money's worth. Five stars to the bang for your buck-o-meter! Nevertheless, any old slop-serving chain restaurant can fill a stomach, so the quality has got be up to par as well. After much deliberation, I decided on the Titanic Burger, a towering behemoth of two hamburger patties, bacon, gyro meat, and cheese with a wonderful little sauce I couldn't quite put my finger on. Wrapped beautifully and served with a side of hot, thick-cut fries on a surprisingly solid, nice looking plate, the presentation is also top notch. Service was great, but the ambiance seemed a bit off. My only recommendation would be changing the music a bit. Butt rock died like twenty years ago!

Really good food. If you are hungry the Super Titanic will fill you up, but only if you are really hungry. Otherwise you won't be able to finish it. It's a little off the main path but worth the trip to eat at.

Middle of the road Greek food. Better than a burger but not SO AMAZING. The cheap-o decor, the non-interested plating of the food... Yea, good for lunch but not a 5 star by any means.
