We had a good time, but it was probably more the company I was with rather than the establishment itself. We split the seared Ahi tuna and loaded fries. Lots of flavor does not always mean lots of seasoning. I feel that many places load on the salt to compensate for the lack of fresh/frozen foods. It was a Tuesday night, no sports programs and right after work. So we did not experience any lack of attention. The hostess and wait staff were all amazing. As with most in this chain, the portions were excessive, and we had leftovers. I ordered the New York strip, and as many have said that it was not the best cut ever, it was indeed the best cut tonight. Perfectly cooked to order (a little over-seasoned), and the staff was great.

Had the 6 oz steak and crab - both were delicious. Had the crab artichoke dip and it was really good. Service was good - very friendly and engaging. Food was slow coming out of the kitchen, but the manager took the appetizer and dessert off the bill. Went on a Friday night at 7 pm and while busy we were seated immediately. Overall a good experience and I will come back again.

Yesterday evening I met several family members at the Outback Steakhouse in Nampa to catch up over dinner. We were met by several friendly staff members, who took our orders while engaging in a polite conversation. As an appetizer I requested the coconut shrimp, and decided to go with the $14.99 steak and lobster combination with a caesar salad for my main course. I was disappointed with the coconut shrimp, as the breading seemed to just crumble and fall apart after only one bite. However, the marmalade-based dipping sauce provided a tangy and refreshing approach to the classic appetizer. Following the shrimp, the caesar salad was covered in an excessive amount of parmesan cheese, but the salad itself was crisp and cool. As for the main course, the steak was perfectly cooked medium-rare, and the seasoning provided a slight spiciness that complimented the dish. However, the quality of the steak was average at best, and the lobster's texture was tough and somewhat stringy. Overall, I felt as though I got what I paid for. Outback Steakhouse offers a number of affordable dishes, although you might be sacrificing the quality of your food. The staff of the Nampa establishment were polite and pleasant, and service was prompt. This chain restaurant would be a great place for those families on a tighter budget who still wish to try stereotypical "fancier" dishes.

We decided to give this place another chance after two times being awful. Waste of money. Prime rib was not cooked right at all. Lobster inedible. Salad brown and yellow not fresh. To cap the bad meal seeing the hostess grab the napkin silverware roll off the table that just left asking the bus boy if it looked used proceeding to put it back into the bin as if it was clean absolutely disgusting, not to mention a huge health code violation. Never again

Too long of a wait time - during apparent slow time. The last few times I have been here the food was either overcooked or cold, like it had been sitting for a while. Wait staff was slow and not friendly. Not going back to this location.

We have been in Outback Steakhouses from southern California to southern Florida and lots of places in between. So when our first trip to the Nampa Outback was just okay we wrote it off to a one time bad day there. Our next trip took awhile to happen because we found other places we liked better, but then we sort of forgot our poor experience and tried it again. This time the salad had a mystery "something" in it and my steak was tough. Recently we had a friend staying over that wanted a steak. Our favorite close place was way too crowded so we again, with some trepidation, tried the Nampa Outback. We all ordered a special of sirloin and lobster tail. The service was quick and the wait staff was friendly. Our pleasure ended there, however, All three steaks were so tough that they were basically inedible. The lobster tails were okay, but tough as frozen tails usually are. I wanted to send them back, but my companions didn't want to make a fuss. So we left them laying on our plate and had dessert. Their cheesecake was delicious. We may go there for dessert in the distant future, but we would rather have a steak from Sizzler than try the Nampa Outback again.

Staff is what makes this place great. Food is also amazing but I feel that's more from a high calorie and salt budget than anything else. But that can be said of any place, nah these guys are good for the most part.

Great food! Had a nice lunch here. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and I never had to wait for a drink refill. The manager politely introduced himself and presented himself as someone who can intervene on our behalf should any problem present itself. All-in-all, it's a place that I'm excited to visit again!

Although I've been trying to cut mammals and fowl out of my diet, I recently had an exceptionally bad day and was in a significantly murderous mood. I needed steak, and I needed it Rare and Bloody. The bar area at Ram's in Meridian was packed for the game, and not wanting to sit anywhere near children (Texas Roadhouse, Goodwood) we drove back towards home to one of the few steakhouses in Nampa, hoping it would be quiet. It was. I believe this was the first time I've ever had connective tissue in a "NY strip"; it ran all the way through the center (and more along the entire outside of the left side). But oh, they delivered it rare, bloody and enormous and I was happy anyway. The crab-stuffed shrimp was so-so, the batter was kinda soggy rather than crispy. The blue cheese salad was nice but average; a mix of iceberg and green leaf lettuce with thick grated cheddar, large decently spiced croutons that no doubt came from a bag, and red onion. They did a good job on both the baked and mashed potatoes, but it's kinda hard to screw up potatoes. Our waitress Lindsey did her job well. It was an average experience all around at best (apart from our above-average waitress); nothing terribly wrong but nothing memorable either. The two-star description couldn't fit more perfectly. "Meh. I've experienced better." but I got what I expected.
