I have driven by this restaurant numerous times and never gave it a thought to try it until today, when I was craving Italian, but didn't want to go to some chain restaurant. The gentleman who greeted me was real friendly and advised me to go with the Lasagna which came with one of the best home made rolls I have eaten. The portion was good (not too much or too little). I had a cup of soup as well (minestrone) and it was really good! I was in a hurry to get back to work and had my order (to go) in front of me in less then 5 minutes. There are a few tables inside and outside, so a person can sit down and eat if they want to. I will definitely be back to try their other scrumptious looking food items!

We have visited a few times now and have found the service to be consistently good. The calzones are huge, and the pizza margarita is light and fresh. For what it's worth, I thought the pasta was ok, but I'm not a huge pasta expert. Bread and salad are also fresh. If you order a dinner, prepare yourself for a lot of food. If you dine-in, you will be well taken care of. They also have a nice (small) selection of beer and wine.

I called in to place an order for delivery and the man on the phone was extremely nice and pleasant. So much, that it really stood out!! We received our food in about 25 minutes and I was really impressed with the amount of food we received and how well it was packaged. Individually wrapped peppers, and they even individually wrapped the salad dressing container in foil (to prevent any spills). The food was great, and I loved the salad dressing! Their calzones are huge and could easily be split by 2 people. It was the company's anniversary so the delivery man offered us free breadsticks - the size of a small pizza! He was also very kind. The food was great, the price was great, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. So happy we found this hidden gem in downtown Nampa!

Wow, I was going to take my husband on a date here, but reading the owner's unprofessional and threatening reply to charlie b. has convinced me that we will never darken their doorway. Yikes.

Did a Family Deal to go order and man what a value! Comes with a large pizza, a salad, choice of pasta (we went with Ravioli), and dinner rolls. Order was ready when we got there (less than 20 mins) and the staff was super friendly. Really good, chewy crust on the pizza with a decent sauce. The ravioli, salad, and rolls were good too.

Awesome hole in the wall in downtown Nampa. Great service with even better food. The Sicilian Garlic Bread is a mini-cheese pizza with a buttery finish. The calzones are a meal for two; great taste for about $9.

Nice staff ... cheese pizza was nothing special. The crust was thin but flavorless much like little cesars. It was hot and quick.

We placed an order last night to be delivered to our hotel room. Right after the driver left, I realized there were no knive & forks in the bag. I called to see if they could could send him back up with some. I was told he doesn't have any cutlery in his vehicle and they only include it with an order if you ask for it. WHAT???? You are delivering the food to a hotel room! Total incompetence! I should eat linguine with my hands?? Fortunately the hotel had some. On a good note, the lasagna and garlic bread were excellent. Linguine with clams was pretty bland - wouldn't order it again. Salads very good. Would go back, but I guess I'll bring my own fork!

Great food, owners, staff always friendly and eager to please. Meatball sandwich, pizza, spaghetti YUM!!!! I noted that they now have outdoor seating for the summer, might be a bit warm when the sun is right, but in the evening should be about right. Keep the great food coming and keep adding interesting new things to the menu. I will be back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
