The wide range of reviews gives a pretty clear picture of how people really have different taste in hamburgers. I found their hamburger to be very good to very very good (sorry...not excellent) and their fries were above average. It really is a hole-in-the-wall...so don't go here for atmosphere.

What a joke! The name says drive in, yet they don't even have a speaker??? So you order at a window and wait for your food? So once you get to the window there's a sign that they don't even sell burgers through the drive thru! But you don't know it til you've already waited in line forever! Next time I'll keep going to McDonald's down the road. SLOW!!!

Good greasy burger with tasty fries and yummy milkshakes....Spot on for a privately owned burger joint...in the corporate burger world...

Stayed in Hailey for the summer with my husband's family and got a milkshake at the snow bunny almost every week. The milkshakes are really good. Nice and thick and well priced. I enjoyed almost every flavor I got. The service is pretty good. Normally friendly and quick. I didn't love the burgers though. I mean, MUCH better than McDonalds or any chain, but still nothing to get too excited about in my opinion. Also, I had to dock one star just for my own personal problem with the snow bunny being called a "drive in." The first time I came to Hailey years ago and I saw the sign, I was so excited to see a "drive in" only to be told by my husband that it's not a drive in at all. That made me sad. If you are here in the summer (or winter even I guess) hit them up for a good milkshake!

Awesome fries and shakes. It cracks me up that you can't order a burger in the drive-thru. You have to call it in ahead of time and you can drive-thru to pick it up. Perhaps it's part of the charm. :)

Not the best place in town for a burger (Powerhouse), but the best place for a greasy burger! I can't really recommend eating in as the building is a bit ramshackle and not the cleanest. The turkey burgers are pretty darn good. I've had better greasy burgers, but not in the Wood River Valley.

Inexpensive fast food. Decent service. Much better than macdonalds but my burger was way too greasy (and I've had greasy burgers!) I had a puddle of oil in the bottom of the tray. It seemed as if they scraped the grill and poured it on my burger. Their fried pickles were OK and were better than the jalapeno cheese sticks that looked like they came from a freezer bag. Their ice cream and shake fell way short though. It was very bland and not that good. I'd rather go somewhere else. I've had much better burgers at IN-N-OUT, much better shakes at Sonic, much better ice cream nearly anywhere and much better fried food from the super market freezer sections. Not good. I don't see much reason to come back. The stuff on the menu looks like good stuff but the quality and flavor is way below what they should be.

This place should branch out into a franchise, Please!! One of my favorite places to eat in the entire country. And the names and combinations of burgers, OMgosh. My favorites are the Road Kill and the the Rug Burn. What!? A Cajun sausage and a hamburger together on the same bun, you have got to be kidding me. Did I just win the lottery? Best Onion Rings and Tater Tots I have ever had, too. One can't eat there without getting a milkshake, or I prefer a malt, even if it's 20 degrees outside and snowing. I'm thinking Diner's, Drive-In's and Dives meets In and Out.

I've been snow bunny few times and never happy with burger and fries. My children loved this place but I've been sick twice by eating there. Also I can't stand the smell of that place. Just smells dirty when you walk in.

I love the Snow Bunny. It's been a favorite for years now. If you are looking for a hearty burger and fries, you get it here! You leave full and satisfied and thinking about the next time you'll come back.

I'd heard this was a good place to try in the Sun Valley area, so when my husband and I were on our way back from a trek to Craters of the Moon National Monument, we decided it was as good a time as any to stop. While the food was tasty enough, it wasn't the fantastic experience we expected based upon a review or two I'd seen. In fact, I'd compare it to your typical local fast food chain that can be found almost anywhere.

The snow bunny is the best greasy junk in the world! A Hailey institution that I really hope stays there forever and ever! Just like it's Mountain Home sister, The Wrangler... the food is so rural Idaho. Fry sauce is a must, but the best thing on the menu is for sure the roadkill patty melt!

On the way back home from Skiing we stopped by for a quick rest stop. We found the best heart-stopping food up here. Funny, we spend hundred on the fancy restaurants up in Ketchum but we end up raving about the "Snow Bunny" Drive-in. Great shakes but even better was the Wrangler burger! My brother had a Powder Pig (whatever that is) and he said it might have been the best burger he's ever had. The place could be cleaned a bit more and the bathrooms were definitely over due for their scheduled cleaning. The help was actually very good considering they were all under 20. This is now a scheduled stop before and after skiing.
