High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. after not been in an applebees for almost 12 years I decided to take my wife and daughter. Needless to say I was not pleased. The staff seated us right way but it took around 7 minutes and me calling for a server. I finished my drink and got passed by many waiters and waitresses. The manager got involved and our drinks came and we're refilled when needed. Our meals came and my burger wasn't cooked how I requested (no pink) as to it was quickly fixed and a new burger was in front of me within minutes. The manager Silas took. are of my burger (cost wise) unexpectedly adding a star to this would be 2 star review. over all after learning the manager was willing to take care of us until we left, our experience change for the better. Thanks to Silas today wasn't an all out bust.

We were totally disappointed with our experience tonight at your restaurant. We arrived around 6:15pm. Restaurant was not busy. We ordered a beer to begin with. Our waiter was knowledgable in helping us with our Buber choice. We ordered our dinner and appetizers. We waited and WAITED AND WAITED. Everyone around us received their dinner ahead of us, even though we were there long before them. It was pretty evident that our order was never put in. Each time we asked, we were told that it would be out in 2 minutes. We asked where our appetizers were more than once! A food runner brought out salads for us that we never ordered. It was for the table behind us. Again, we were brought out food that we didn't order. Again, for another table. We asked again for our food, 2 more minutes!! We were there 1.5 hours before getting our food. We had to ask for silverware, plates for our appetizers, water and straws! , which had no covers on them!! At no time did a manager come over to explain what was happening and why our food was taking so long. You would think they could have comped our beer?? Poor service, poor management=we won't be back. When spending $20 per meal to get this treatment is totally wrong!! If anyone wants to know our wait staff's name, we will be happy to supply it.

Nice place to go and grab a bite to eat with family and friends and you won't end up paying a lot of money for some tasty food. It has a comfortable environment so your able to enjoy yourself without worrying about being too loud. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger and got a side of fries with it. The burger was nice and juicy and the fries were prepared to the perfect setting. Left me feeling really satisfied with my meal and didn't take a big chunk out of my wallet for a good meal.

It's 10PM and everything is closed except for good old corporate cuisine in the Walmart parking lot. Despite the surprising micro-brews on tap and the attempt at supporting local sports culture, my late night visit inspired me to plan ahead better in the future and dine at better options during their operating hours. I had heard that there is a healthy option menu so I was psyched to check it out. I have seen Applebe's gift cards used as incentives for wellness programs. At first I laughed at what I thought must have been an oversight, but then I was corrected - "They have some pretty healthy selections there". OK, let's see how healthy. No wonder people don't choose the healthy options very often. The Teriyaki Chicken Pasta was tasteless and the vegetables were lame. You will certainly reduce your calorie intake because you won't want to finish. We shoulda gone to Walmart and bought Lean Cuisine. Why did I expect anything different?

So we (a party of 4) Sat down probably around 5:45pm at first everything was fine we ordered drinks and water and just received the drinks and no water. No big deal it isn't hard to ask and get water. We also got appetizers when we ordered our food but we noticed after sitting for 45 min that tables who had walked in after us were getting their meals before we had even received out appetizers. We had mentioned it to the server he said that the kitchen was sort of busy and then 10 minutes later we got our 2 out of 3 apps we ordered and one of the apps was wrong. After 10 more minutes and receiving the last app we finally got our food. Mind you the entire time we were waiting our server avoided our table and didn't ask if we needed anything didn't ask how the food was didn't apologize for the wait. Nothing. The food we got was so so the rice was cold and probably kept heated by an oven. We were missing a breadstick from a pasta dish, the server didn't say why when he brought our food he only told us after we asked where it was. Still no refills on anything. We really just wanted to get out of there by this point and we paid for our ENTIRE meal because no apologies or discounts for making us sit there for an hour before receiving anything to eat. Our friend tried to pay with cash because we had paid the separately on the new table payment system and when the server took his cash, he came back without the change and gave him his own server book. So we had to wait for him to fix that mistake as well. We should have talked to a manager but it was just so embarrassing that we just wanted to leave. Not a horrible place most of the time but don't get a server named Eddie. Not good service.

I am disappointed with the food at Applebees. It is too expensive to be improperly cooked. I left feeling pretty ripped off. The waitress (who was very nice) asked how I wanted my steak and shrimp cooked. I asked her if I said medium, would it be cooked a medium? She assured me the cooks were pretty good. Well, the cooks are not. When another server brought my plate to me they asked if I would mind cutting into it as they watched to see if I was satisfied with the temperature. Evidently that is the practice there because I heard the same being asked at all of the nearby tables. It was awkward and unacceptable. I cut into an end and she asked if I would try the middle because the ends get cooked. (Drr!) My steak was well done no matter where I cut! The vegetables were meant to be steamed but they were without any form of seasoning and were crunchy. Their kid's menu is disgusting. My 5 year old son didn't even want to eat the nasty corndog! Please save your hard earned money and make your own food. You will certainly be more satisfied than going to this restaurant.

I have been here twice and both times have been a bit underwhelming. For the amount you pay, Applebees seems like a good choice, except that when I got my food my steak was fatty and did not taste good, and my herb potatoes were still practically raw! I don't usually have time to complain at restaurants if I am there with my 3 year old, so I don't tend to send these things back. Also, Kraft box mac and cheese for kids? Can't such a big chain do a LITTLE better?!

Tortilla chips were way too salty to stand, and the salsa served with it was frozen, other than that, service was great!

Good, local restaurant. The chain has been revamping their menu. This location has always been good to us & offers a Veterans discount everyday, not just on Tuesdays like some locations.

This location is terrible. Bad management. Bad place to work. People looking for a job here should stay clear. At least on the server end, you will see one person get the best shifts.

Usually good food so we didn't think twice about going. Ordered the Asiago Peppercorn steak dinner, and the wife ordered the Parmesan shrimp and steak. Both ordered rare...mine came burned black and smelled like a dirty grill. Her's was extra well. The steamed veggies were way over cooked and mushy, then dehydrated from sitting under the warmer...probably for the better part of the hour we waited. Our waitress was horrible too. The manager came over to coddle us while he assured our steaks would be perfect. Bullsh*t. both came incorrect again. I am convinced that the same veggies i had the first time were on this plate. We will not be going there again any time soon and will make sure to add this post to our facebook pages as well. Goodbye Applebees, you will not be missed.
