Z's has been a long time favorite pizza stop for me. Today I went a little "off the beaten path" and ordered the Deluxe Chili Roll. If you get the regular chili roll you are doing your life all wrong. Reconsider everything. The deluxe is the WAY TO GO. very big portion with a nice price. Total bill was about $9.00 with getting a water to drink. If you don't want to have a solid BM for about 5 months and clean out your entire system, order this. Instant relief from any hangover, pain, or sickness. 4/5 stars because when is anything perfect?

Ordered 12 pizzas there for a work event for a pick up order. Being a regular catering orderer, I asked for a group discount. He told me he doesn't make enough money off the pizzas to justify a discount. That's fine. If you don't ask, you don't get and obviously I didn't get it this time. The order was over $200. I had ordered these pizzas ahead of time. I live an hour out of town and ran late, so I called to let them know. Instead of keeping them in a warmer or a bag after they were cooked, he left them on the counter. Then I was scolded for having cold pizza to give out. I was also berated for driving a Subaru Outback to pick up my pizzas as it wouldn't be big enough to accommodate all the pizzas. I have been ordering pizzas for this work event for the last 4 years, and not once have I had that issue. I saw they were doing a punch card where when you buy 7 pizzas, you get the 8th free. When I inquired about it, he told me I didn't count. Punched 1 and told me to come back. I left it there and he mentioned it, so I told him it wasn't worth my time as I wasn't coming back. The pizzas themselves were just ok, even cold. The crust was really floured and tasteless. Not really impressed. Variety of pizza was good.

The building is a little shady looking- no windows (think strip club), but the atmosphere is good once you get inside. The pizza was good and the salad bar was decent. Beware, though: that side salad is going to cost you $9.50! The beer (on tap) is very cold and fresh, and (besides the bill!), it was a good experience.

General greasy spoon restaurant. Salad bar is pretty good with extensive toppings- fresh and tidy. The daily specials are good- not spicy or over seasoned (more on the bland side), and they have speedy service. No remarkable/distinguished dish or meal; not fantastic but not horribly disgusting. Middle of the road and have an '50s flair to their decorations.
