We went herewith a big group of about 20 people for dinner. My partner and I ordered a few drinks, a plate of wings and the seared tuna. The drinks are okay, but the food was fantastic. The tuna I had was perfectly seared, and it came with a creamy wasabi sauce that hits the right spot between "is this even wasabi what is this I'm out" and "oh god call the ambulance I'm dying my face is a waterfall". So, tasty wasabi. The sesame sauce was good too. The wings are whole. And this is probably one of my favourite things about this place. We're talking 12 three-section wings here. They come with whatever sauce you want. We had the sweet chilli sauce and it was really good. I can't say the same thing about the service though. Our waitress herself was good, and she was pregnant on top of trying to serve 20 people. Hats to her. However, the other 4 5 waitresses just stood around the bar and ignored us, no matter how many people at our table tried to get their attention! This makes no sense. There should be at least two three people waiting a table this big. Overall, this is a good place. If they could just fix the service, that would be awesome.

This place was an unexpected find. We ordered the sliders which were pretty good and big enough to be an entree for two. Son ordered the full rack of ribs which was about 18 inches long. He declared them excellent but impossible to finish. The husband and I ordered a burek apiece. One would have been adequate for both of us. We left with four boxes of leftover food. Think ahead and order order half as much or share with someone.

Food was easily hit and miss. The fries are amazing, however if you order a burger they will ask you how you want it cooked, and promptly cook it wrong. The wait staff did not seem very friendly nor very excited to be there. All-in-all, if you want decent food to go with a beer it's not bad. I won't be returning any time soon.

Stopped by at about 730 on a fri night. Only a couple empty tables. Well staffed. Delicious food!!! Ribs fell off the bone. Very meaty and tender. Great flavor. Gregs Sampler included chicken tenders, awesome jalapeño poppers and delicious chicken wings!! Dinner salads were very fresh, lots of goodies on the salad. Service was fast and friendly. Will definately be back.

Don't be fooled by the location! I was hunting for something to eat after hanging in Waterloo for the first time, and holy hell the food was great. DO ORDER: the jalapeño poppers!! Those were the greatest I've ever had, the sweet potato mash was also incredible DON'T: the pita sandwich. It's HUGE, but pretty bland and greasy.

What a nice find! The location, space, lighting, and staff was really the only questionable part... BUT the BBQ made up for it!!!! So delish! Coming back again!!!

Well that was a bad experience after I was excited to go. All the waitresses were huddled in a corner and after 10 minutes I heard "do you even know what he wants" and a grudgingly "I'll get it". Too bad. No drink or anything. Just left. The one server who finally came over did apologize but I was over it. First ever review on yelp and I travel weekly for work.

We had breakfast; good service, good food, and ok atmosphere. If you're a bacon person you'll be pleasantly surprised; if you're an egg conisiour the basted eggs were perfect; now I don't normally order pancakes, but these were worthy of the purchase. Value was exceptional for the quantity. We would definitely come back.

This was a surprise find and expectations were, let's just say, not super high. However, a friend recommended it. On the outside drive-by, don't be deterred - this is the least favorable part. Walking in, the place is a cross between bar, dance floor and restaurant - a bit of a split personality. The menu was surprisingly good. Seared ahi tuna at a bar? It even had a bit of a foodie flair. Decided on the fish tacos which were awesome. Service was pretty good and it all arrived quickly, but the place wasn't all that busy. The presentation and taste was really good. I would definitely go back. Why not 5-stars? Atmosphere was a bit schizo and the exterior was a little shady looking. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. Dancing? You bet! (Not for this guy though)

I have always had good experiences here. Breakfast can be slow but worth it. I am a wing expert. They serve 12 whole wings here which is really 24 wings for $12. Any flavor you want and if you ask. the cook can make as spicy as you like. Service has always been good. Try it.

Been here several times now and I am consistently impressed with the food. I have tried the bbq, many of the appetizers (the nachos are huge and especially delicious), but my favorite is the po boy sandwich. We did check it out for breakfast this morning and I had my first bad experience. Sausage links weren't quite cooked through and the portions were odd. They did remedy the sausage link issue, however, so points for that. I would encourage everyone to try Greg's Place as it is a great addition to our community and I would like to see it stay!!

AWESOME! SUCH A SHOCK!!!!had breakfast ...COFFEE was best ever..big cup...great taste..Real tasting big PCs. Of Bacon, scrambled eggs good ...pancakes waaaay good!!! Served like high end restaurant..we both ate for less than $17.00..So nice and clean...new...have a state of the art looking dance floor..and Bar.....I really am the hardest to please and worst critic soooo this is saying signing when they get my approval...lol..Hard to see from road...sign hard to see...but you will soon find it for all the cars around it..:-)

Heard about this new restaurant via a coupon we got in the mail so we figured we'd check it out (especially after we saw the amazing pictures posted by other reviewers). We got the mahi mahi sandwich with fries and the macaroni and cheese and were very ole sentry surprised!! The fish was cooked perfectly and was on a bun with an awesome sauce. The Mac and cheese was very unique and had some great flavors I've never experiences in Mac and cheese before. The fries were a little mushy but had great seasoning. We will definitely be returning!

We had Greg's sampler appetizer salad and fries. Excellent taste. The Jalapeño poppers were awesome. They had cream cheese and pulled pork wrapped in bacon. The wings and chicken strips were great. We didn't have any of his smoked meats but being a person who smokes a lot of food myself I could tell that he knows what he is doing. The smoker was going when we walked in. We will be back.

Disappointed after hearing good things about this place. It's more of a bar than a restaurant. It's dark and atmosphere isn't fine dining. You can actually order a steak on the menu but no baked potato, just fries. Wouldn't go again!

Interesting place to eat. No real theme or atmosphere but the food was plated like a high end restaurant. Service a touch slow but waitress was very nice. My daughter food order was wrong and the waitress corrected it. She gave us 3 take out menus with coupons and then used a 15% off coupon on our bill. Food was really good. Specialty martinis were also delicious.
