Always a first class dining experience - never rushed, wonderful food preparation, and comfortable decor. This was our go-to restaurant for our anniversary when they were in Cedar Rapids. Will become it again now in Vinton. Highly recommend; very unique.

The Cafe' is a great experience not usually found in small town Iowa. A beautifully built building that provides a casual setting in the front and more of a fine dining experience in the back. Ribs, chicken, seafood and veggie meals are delicious. The food is served with a European flare that includes marination, seasoning and sauces unique to Cafe' de Klos! The wine list continues to build but we have enjoyed the Zolo and other selections. Beer on tap and a full bar with tv and fireplace makes for a great casual experience. This place rocks like a fox!

Went here Saturday night, 2/15, party of six. I had the Black Forest Chop and my wife had the Curried Chicken - outstanding taste and we were pleasantly surprised. We each took half home and had remainder for lunch the next day - great again! The Black Forest chop is a grape reduction of sort over a Iowa cut chop cooked to medium. We recommend both dishes and the restaurant. We will be back again -- worth the trip from Cedar Rapids.

Had our second visit here. First time my wife and I had fine dining. This time we had the pub dining with a business associate. Started with onion rings and garlic bread. Pretty tasty. Wife had the klos burger and I had the ham and Swiss. Our friend had the jumbo shrimp. Burger was tasty and quite large. I loved the ham which was shaved and seasoned. Our friend got about six large shrimp which he said were quite good. Entrees come with chips or chopped salad which my wife and friend said were tasty. They were out of chips so I was offered the hand cut fries - delicious. We had five beers, two appetizers, and three entrees for a grand total of $74 including tip. They do accept credit cards.

Six of us ate here for a Saturday evening dinner. We enjoyed the meal very much.four of us had fish--two had salmon and two mahi mahi and two had steaks and all were happy with their meals. We were surprised how unique the architectural design was. Of course, the old Legion bldg facade is neat. We hope the local people really patronize this place so it makes a go of it--Vinton needs it so badly.
