Worth the trip off the interstate;). For their ice cream at least. Got choc malt with salted caramel. Only regret is that I didn't get larger size!
After traveling a while and not finding a restaurant to eat at, we finally found this little gem of a place off of I 35. The only problem is they're not open all year round, so mid-September, start checking to see if they're open. We had a very reasonably priced pulled pork sandwich that was tasty but theircheesy corn was some of the best I've ever had! . They also have a wonderful selection of ice cream treats they can make for you....including a "rainbow parfait" where you pick three toppings and they are layered with the soft serve. The owner was there when we ate, and he was a friendly guy.

Nice place, just off I-35 at Rte. 34. Unassuming inside (quite casual). Wonderful food and excellent service. I had Prime Rib special, my wife had homemade spinach lasagna. Both very good. Numerous hand made pastas on the menu. Very nice salad bar included. We highly recommend it, especially after driving all day and not wanting to get dressed up! Decent wine list also.
We ate at Biggys tonite & the meal was very good. While traveling from AZ to MN we try to eat in local eateries, not chains. I had the salmon and my husband had the prime rib...it was prepared very well and was tasty as the waitress said it would be. For the price, it was a very good meal. The waitress was pleasant and the service was quick...!
Great jalapeño burger and the salad bar had fresh veggies!! Fast and sweet service! Nice ambiance & the owner came by and said hello and was very kind. Seems like a good family establishment.

Five of us stopped in and were hesitant based on the bar exterior. But the inside has a great atmosphere. Everyone's food was fantastic. BEST burgers any of us have had in a year or more. Amazing! Try the habenero or the steakhouse. Great service as well.
Traveling on business and tried this place based on a prior yelp review. Had fish and chips, baked potato, corn on the cob, and French soup to go. It all had great flavor, was fresh and very tasty. The chef here is definitely a gem!! I have eaten here twice now and have never been disappointed, I will definitely be back!!!!
Stopped for supper and wish we hadn't. I had the Dirty Bird sandwich which is smoked turkey, bacon and cheese. The turkey was extra dry. It needed some type of sauce other than my lemonade to choke it down. Daughter had chicken tenders, which should have been called chicken jerky. Dry is an understatement. Wife had a chicken sandwich and it was more of the same. Would recommend looking into other options.

Just traveling thru and stopped for a bite. First off we waited for about 45 minutes before anyone waited on us and rhen we waited even longer for our food. The chili my husband ordered was terrible and the table in back of us wasnt cleared off the whole time we were there
Sometimes there's reason to go with chain restaurants when you try a local place and it's this bad. Flies everywhere, very expensive for the terrible food. My boyfriend ordered the turkey melt, literally two small pieces of processed turkey lunch meat on two pieces of Wonderbread style bread....for $8. My Dijon Chicken was so bitter I couldn't even eat it, and I normally love Dijon mustard, and that was $11. We would have had more and better food cheaper going to Subway, and that's just sad.

Playa Margaritas is a casual Mexican restaurant located in Osceola, about 3 minutes from I-35. They offer takeout and full service dining inside and on the outdoor patio. The atmosphere inside is not fancy with ample table seating and the walls have nice painted murals. The menu is primarily Mexican American fare, most entrees $6.25 to $13.99. Lunch Express specials are offered daily until 3PM, $5.25 to $7.99. I stopped here for lunch recently. I was given a small basket of chips & a bottle of medium spicy salsa, chips were crunchy. I ordered the Lunch Beef Chimichanga ($6.25) with rice & beans, which was okay. The chimichanga was lightly fried and covered with a cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, sour cream on the side. However, the chimichanga was filled with ground beef instead of chunks of beef described in the menu, maybe they meant very fine chunks. The rice and refried beans were both soft and standard. The service was prompt and I was given free refills on the Diet Pepsi ($1.99).
