Buck Snort is a nice little 'burgers and sandwiches' restaurant in a small town in Iowa. I went here for Hoo-Doo Days this past Sunday and Buck Snort is just what I needed. I didn't order food, but I had tastes of what my friends got and it was delicious. The prices were generally okay, but it swayed towards the high end. But I'm a cheap eater. The service was great. The cashier was extremely nice and the inside was clean and decorative. There aren't too many seats inside but they have a volleyball area in the back with more room. All in all, I can't wait to come out and have some food of my own at the Buck Snort.

Great spot off of interstate 80-about 3 miles. The brisket sandwich was great and so was the pulled pork and the swampy donkey was interesting and creative. Good mini corn fritters. Nice clean place with western decor. Little volleyball court outside.

We randomly stopped into the Buck Snort while driving from Denver to Chicago. Great food and amazingly friendly people. Try the Swamp Donkey burger. Ridiculous.

We stopped here on our vacation after reading other yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! The service was exceptional and the food delicious. My husband had the "non-typical burger" and I had the patty melt and Mac and cheese. Can you say YUM! Would definitely go back again. At the time we visited the address was not correct, but it is just a few blocks from where map quest directed us. Neola is pretty small, so don't worry about getting lost! Once again, it was delicious!

Stopped here while driving through. Great cheeseburgers and fries in an unpretentious and friendly environment. We also ordered a wrap and BLT and they were good. Would definitely come back!

Great small town joint! Delicious burgers, I had the Swamp Donkey w. moist brisket crispy onion rings, cheese and BBQ sauce. The Hubs had the ribeye sand which special that he liked. Next time I'm getting the brisket sandwich! Very clean and laid back atmosphere with excellent service!

Bucksnort is definitely our go to place for good food in Neola! After moving out here a couple years ago we have probably had Bucksnort a couple times a month and we love bringing out Big city friends in and showing off the amazing food and awesome atmosphere! My favorite is the swamp donkey burger that comes loaded with Brisket onion ring and homemade BBQ sauce. The pulled pork is better than most and after trying everything on the menu I would feel comfortable recommending anything. Beer is cheap which us always a plus! The atmosphere is awesome with European deer mounts, old bows, guns, and fishing gear hanging everywhere. An outdoors persons dream! Two huge overhead doors open up to the sand volleyball area and there is outdoor seating in front and out back. They host classic car and bike nights with beer as cheap as .93 cents. Can't beat that. I don't normally give good ratings to low to mid priced sandwich joints but Bucksnort is far more than that!

Great place and great prices. We had 8 people for dinner. Burgers, patty melts, ribs and appetizers that were all awesome. Beer was cold and there is theater across the street that is also awesome so next time we will do dinner and a movie.

Anytime I am in Neola, we head on over to Bucksnort. They have amazing barbecue and at a great price. Everything is smoked in house. The place is a little country atmosphere with dead animals on the wall, but it suits the place well. My favorite sandwich is of course, the brisket sandwich. The meat is sooooo juicy and tender! I also love the fact that you can get pretzels and cheese! One of my favorite apps. Definitiely try the Swamp Donkey and mac & cheese. Great inexpensive BBQ with a small town feel.

Funny name, AMAZING results! The staff are super friendly and the food downright fantastic! We got pork ribs and Mac and cheese, and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The BBQ was spot on and the best I have had in a long time. The Mac and cheese was creamy and perfectly cheesy. My fiancé loved the chicken fried steak, but the gravy and mashed potatoes were the stars of the plate. In short, the food was fantastic and atmosphere ideal. We will definitely make the drive from Council Bluffs again and again!

Swamp donkey rules! Also, excellent brisket sandwiches, corn fritters, even pizzas! Great little eating joint in great small town, ran by great guys....... I'm now a regular. My record is 3 days in a row so far....... All swamp donkeys. They are that good! Bucksnort does it right!
