Knowing that this is a sister restaurant to the previously reviewed Sicilian pizza carryout, Ms T and I went, basically to get the same pizza and a salad and a beer in a sit-down place, rather than taking it back to the hotel. We found the pizza to be essentially the same good offering that we had at The Sicilian. They use good Italian Sausage and very good quality cheese. We like the crust style, a little chewy, not too thick or too thin. The sauce is good and not over applied for us. We also enjoyed a house salad with their decadent creamy garlic dressing. Believe them when they call it garlic dressing. It is lethal and delicious. It is a shame to do a review for Francesca's and only rate the pizza. Our service was very good and they have an interesting menu that deserves to be explored in the future. I can't wait to try more things.

Great local restaurant! I travel frequently and am always looking for local pizza and I am so glad I found this place. Service was great and the pizza was even better. Not a huge beer list kept this from being 5-star.

Great food, horrible service. On a Saturday night they were out of lemons and broccoli ( fettuccine Alfredo broccoli meal). Had to ask for our bread sauce when it was included in the meal and ask for our salads that was also included with our meal. They were playing Mexican music in an Italian restaurant, overall bad experience.

Best pizza in town hands down. Always hot and fresh. Have had several items off the regular menu as well and have never been disappointed.

This pizza is the best in all of Muscatine. I've always had fantastic service- but I also go when its not busy. Great family atmosphere.

The food is really good but their service is not good. It took forever and there weren't very many people in the place.

We ordered take-out of a couple of appetizers for a quick, light dinner at home. The stuffed portobella mushrooms were delicous with shrimp, fresh crab and cheese, and the Asiago tomato was heavenly. The call was made and 20 minutes later they were hot and ready to go when picked up. They stayed perfect until we ate them at home. Looking forward to dining in, as well, especially if it tastes as divine as what we had!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
