I meant to leave this review ages ago, but better late than never! My fianceé and I came in for Valentine's Day, with no reservation, and the place was pretty much packed. There were some people waiting to be seated and we were told it would be about a 40 minute wait. We were seated in about 20 minutes. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I decided to order (with much trepidation) the pork chop. Now, I used to work at a steakhouse, and we had a very good pork chop, but no one bought it. It is really hard to sell pork in restaurants, because not many people like it, and it's easier to screw up than a lot of people think. The pork chop I had at Four Brothers was the best pork chop I have had in my entire life. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and presented beautifully. I literally sucked on the bone after I was done. I had a picture of the chop and the empty plate, but that phone bit the dust. This was my second time at Four Brothers, while the first time was good, the second time will stick with me until and if I ever get a better restaurant pork chop.

This was an okay restaurant. My Santa Fe salad was good. Salsa was on the high end of medium but went well with the ranch dressing and I liked it. The waitress was nice and also busy serving many booths but she still paid the right amount of attention to our needs. It sits next to the Holiday Inn Express and is very convenient if you happen to be a guest there.

The service we've had every time is great. Helpful, hard working and smiling carrying lots of trays all the time. The food can be so-so, the last hamburger I had was overcooked and tasteless, and the amount of avocado in the Santa Fe salad was pitiful, but most of the rest of the time it's been fine. If the food does not suit you, send it back. The kitchen can be slip-shod at times. Enjoy!

Had a great Saturday night dinner. Excellent steak sandwich. Ask for the corner booth on the bar side of the restaurant...a fun place to sit for a group of 4 to 6. Our server was courteous and efficient and didn't hover too much. We've been to 4 Brothers several times before and we'll be back.

When I searched for restaurants, according to Yelp nothing was open at 8:15 pm on a Monday night. While I figured this was not true and most probably didn't have the hours entered I was unwilling to risk driving around to find closed restaurants considering the hour and walked over to four brothers. When I entered the restaurant the hostess said hi and stared at me for a few seconds until I said just one. At that point they asked where I wanted to be seated and since I said it didn't matter I ended up in the bar. The bar is a bit large and this was probably a poor choice on my part, but I can see why they put me here. It's better to put one extra customer in the mostly gull bar than in a sparsely populated section and keep a server later. After a few minutes the server.came by and.said she would be.with me in a.few.minutes. sure enough, a few minutes later she came back and took my order of French.onion soup and a.kids burger. About 10 min later the soup came out. The soup was hot but exceptionally salty and tasted like something made from a mix. About 25-30 min after my order the burger came out. The waitress was good, she checked on me a few times even though she was busy. Net, it is an acceptable option, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

If there was a 4.5 star option, this place would have it. The only reluctance I have with giving it the full 5, is the simple fact that I've never sat in a section that required a waitress. I travel alone for work and prefer to sit at the bar. That being said, I have been here three times now and the third time was because I preferred it over any other option in town. I was lucky enough to have Scott behind the bar every time I visited. He's great. He attentive but quiet. He's eager to have conversation, but only as much as you'd like to and every order I've placed for food has come out exactly as I've asked. He even turned on a hockey game for me in March, when college basketball is everything. My first visit was a Thursday night, I ordered their chicken cranberry salad but subbed out the chicken for salmon and got it without onions. Their salmon is really well seasoned and always comes out piping hot. I enjoyed this salad so much I actually craved it a couple weeks later when I was in town and ordered it again. The second time I ordered it I also got a cup of chili, which was nothing to write home about, but was decent chili. I would recommend ordering it with cheese, maybe even sour cream if that's your thing. The second time I stopped in, I walked over from my hotel on a Monday night because I was feeling lazy and I knew I liked the food the first time. I wanted to try something else and asked Scott how their Thai Salmon is. (I don't remember the actual name of the meal, but that's the general idea) He said it was one of their top sellers, so I gave it a shot. You get a vegetable, soup or salad and potato side with it. I ordered the baked potato and asparagus with a side salad. The salmon was seasoned just as well as it is with the salad, the baked potato was a little on the dry side, but comes with butter and sour cream and that made all the difference. (you can also get it loaded if you'd like) I enjoyed the asparagus. It appears to be steamed? I did read that another review had an issue with portion sizes, specifically the asparagus. My meal did only come with three pieces, but it was enough. If you're looking for more food than you should eat, you probably shouldn't eat at 4 brothers. But if you enjoy good food in a nice atmosphere, you'll enjoy your time here. I've had drinks every time I've been as well. Well measured, decently priced cocktails and beer. Wine is also an option and quite popular from what I've noticed. I've tried out a couple other places in Le Mars so far, and I will go to this one when I know I want good food and great service. You should definitely give it a shot.

In town on business and stopped in for supper. Great service and the food was excellent.

The waitresses were very nice and I had no problem with the service, but the food was meh... I was expecting a lot for what they charge and by the looks of the place, but when my roasted vegetable soup arrived, I knew there was going to be trouble. It tasted like it came out of a can. And then my food arrived. First thing I noticed was that the portions were miniature. I got a "side" of asparagus which consisted of two lonely spears with no butter or seasonings. Not even salt. And then a spoon of the caramelized carrots and a small filet of mahi mahi. The asparagus was basically raw and upon tasting the carrots, I was glad there was only a small serving... Ugh. They were the giant carrots that taste like an old dish cloth and extremely crunchy... The caramel sauce was okay and maybe would have been good on tender, fully cooked baby carrots. The waitress came by and asked if everything was good. I was very displeased, but what do you say?? :I Bah. I then tried my mahi mahi. It was very tasty, but it wasn't enough to make up for EVERYTHING ELSE. I will never go here again and pay these exorbitant prices for mediocre food. I am sad that I gave them what money I did, but they probably needed it as they are probably failing.

I ordered the French onion soup and the roasted chicken. Soup was not bad. The roasted chicken looked like quail or pigeon and partially raw on inside. This place is terrible. The service is non-existent and the manager refused to talk about the crappy chicken. Would not recommend. Go to Taco Bell.

They have delicious burgers. On Tuesday night they are on special. Definitely would recommend if you can put up with sour waitresses.

The proportions don't match the price. Two measly asparagus spears were served with my steak. Also they were undercooked and under seasoned if seasoned at all. Ordered a medium rare received a burnt well done steak.

Service is excellent. Tuesday night is the night to go. Burger night. Cheeseburgers and fries for only $5. Pretty good deal. We usually get the same waitress every Tuesday. She knows our order before we sit down every time and they know we are twins Fans and turn the channel without even asking! Love her! Lavosh is very good. Other than that have not been impressed with the steaks or the pasta.

I took my wife and her mother here for valentines day. we were going to go to Archies but decided to try something different. big mistake. we waited over and hour for a table but it was valentines day so no big deal. we got out sampler plate and soup and salads and everything was fine so far. we waited over an hour from the time we got appetisers until the steaks came. I ordered a 10 oz new York strip, my wife 10 oz Ribeye, mom ordered a Rueben and fries. the medium steaks were done to the point they were grey on the inside and my loaded baked potato with melted cheese was nearly impossible to eat. my wife's steak was also grossly over cooked. I tried some of mom's fries, they were ice cold, as was the Rueben. This was by far the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant and the third failed attempt to get a decent meal at this establishment. They took my steak off the bill because I complained but the bill was still $65 plus $10 tip. why we left a tip is beyond me. I guess we felt sorry for the waitress that she would have to put up with the pathetic kitchen. I will never set fot in that place again and I'm a local. Do yourself a favor, go to Archies or the Mexican restaurant 1 mile north is excellent

Service was iffy at best. Sat at the bar and the bartender Scott had NO personality. You had to get his attention away from staring at the wall to ask for another drink or order food. l Wish I was told about the special would have ordered something different. My food was okay nothing to right home about. Nice location can easily walk to hotel after drinking.

Poor waitress had to come back four times before we could decide! What wonderful choices....and wonderful presentation. Make sure you have reservations, or get there early. There was a wedding reception this Friday night, and our friends had to wait 40 minutes (while we got there at 5:30 and had no wait).

The waitress had no manners at all, when she brought our food out, she reached in My husbands plate, lifted up his bun and said oh they forgot your pepper jack cheese. That I find rude, you do not touch someone's food that you just placed in front of him. So she brings out a cold slice of cheese, that he should place on his melted burger. I had the fish sandwich and it was dripping with oil, the fries were limp. You can make a fish sandwich that isn't dripping but my guess is they fry in oil that isn't hot enough. My bread should have been toasted and it wasn't. You receive better food at Bob's...which is pretty sad cause its the same owner. We no longer eat there, but its cause we choose not to eat fast food. Our salad was ordered with dressing on the side, we had to send that back cause dressing was smothered all over. The only time they really served good food and had descent service was the first couple weeks they were open. Not been the ice tea was good, it wasn't fresh brewed it came out of a tap and tasted awful.

Come on small town Iowa. Tried to order an egg on my cheeseburger (don't knock it til you try it) Waitress said yes, manager said no "because it's Tuesday and we're really busy" As an out-of-towner, it doesn't much matter what day it is. Have a policy every day, or not at all.

I visited this restaurant twice during a 3 night stay in Le Mars. It was conveniently located steps away from the Holiday Inn Express that I was staying at. On the first night, I dined with four others. We sat in the back dining room where they were also set up for a couple of large groups, possibly holiday parties. We shared the calamari and onion rings and they brought out a basket of bread and butter. The paid appetizers were forgettable. I wasn't expecting great seafood being that we were several hundred miles away from any ocean. The bread on the other hand, was amazing. It was maybe some kind of foccacia with some tasty herb notes. I had a piece before and with dinner. I ordered the Peach-Mustard pork Chop for dinner - 12oz. Charbroiled Iowa Chop basted with a whole grain mustard and peach sauce. My sides were asparagus and mashed potatoes. I was told if there is any place to get pork, it's Iowa. The mustard/peach combo that dressed the top of the pork chop was really tasty but couldn't disguise the fact that the pork chop was overcooked and consequently dry. It wasn't terrible but even I can grill a juicier pork chop at home. 2 nights later I came back with a larger group of coworkers. It was a bit less formal and we sat in the bar with a few tables pushed together. There was a pretty large selection of beers on tap and they let my sample one before getting a full pint of it. We ordered several appetizers to pass around included the jumbo wings (bone in) without sauce and one with a mild sauce and the lavosh. We had been told the lavosh was good but pretty big, so this was a great opportunity to try it. The wings came out first and made their way around the table. Most people were in agreement that they tasted like old oil. I saved room for the Lavosh with came out shortly after the wings. It was definitely great for sharing and was cut into squares. The Lavosh redeemed the nights food experience. It was delicious! Can't remember what toppings we got but we ended up ordering a second one. If you live in Le Mars or are just visiting, this is a great dinner option,
